The dismissive hand of Melissa answered as much as her words on the drum situation
"We can play anywhere, but I'm not all that bothered if it's in the room. Still, I'll ask around! We'll make a musician outta you yet electric" she grinned, nodding along with the discussion of money and fathers.
"Guess that's a big amount for most people...ok, I can see you not wanting to be in people's debts over that amount of money, but if you need a little help offers still open" she grinned, clearly not worried about money issues at all
"however...military? Surely there's much better places for a pretty girl like you than getting swept up in all the killing. They'll never really appreciate you, you know."Melissa also froze as a boy walked past, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"The hell is he doing here?" she gave voice to her thoughts, something she did all too often. It was broken though as Yuki moved on, Melissa hurrying up and accepting the door with a nod.
"Poke me if I fall asleep" she giggled quietly, giving the many people who knew her a smile and a wave. She gave Yuki's arm a very quick and gentle squeeze, risking a shocking, and adding
"don't know how you are around crowds Yuki, but if we get a lot of people coming over I can move away if you want" as they sat down. She placed her guitar in front of her, and wrapped her arms around it.
