@Ghost Butt Thank you! You are clear to post in the IC now.
@Lmpkio Well, Pundii did. :P Jaina Solo was (and is) my childhood hero. It'd be super cool if @Pundii decided to use Jacen as an NPC as well *hint hint* ;)

Sayuki Kyasarin

Location: Floor 1 - Town of Beginnings - Blacksmith --> Heading to the Inn
Interacting With: KasaiSenshi @alexfangtalon, Kirito @BlueSky44

Kyasarin nodded, accepting the sword into her inventory, and sheathing it quickly. Her standard sword went into the true nothingness of her item storage, and she stepped away from the blacksmith, letting others get through. There started to be a mad dash of people, all clamoring to get the latest and greatest items.

"I hate guilds," Kyasarin agreed, glancing down at her hands. She paused, as if mulling over two horrible options. "They end up ruining all the fun...But I want you to call me whenever you're going out to fight things. I'll join in."

Hardly waiting for a reply, Kyasarin left KasaiSenshi and went into the crowd. She went at a bit of a skip, relishing each bit of movement in her legs. The Death Game hardly mattered to her. She could die in here, able to walk and run and dance and jump, or she could die in the real world, confined to a chair. The choice wasn't a hard one to make. In here, there was wonderment and fun. Out there? Taxes.

The choice didn't even take her a second to make.

However, Kyasarin knew that she'd need to join a party of some sorts. KasaiSenshi's guild might not be the answer to her being able to fight and survive. Instead, she recalled the only Beta Tester who cleared more floors than she did. Kirito. With a smug smirk, she swiped her right hand in the air in front of her, bringing down the message menu.

"Hey, slug face! Meet me at the inn. I'll be waiting~"

She sent the message, and let out a contented sigh. If he agreed to come, she'd at least be dealing with someone competent. Kyasarin suspected that the two of them could clear the game with their eyes closed. Though, if she had to be truthful, she knew she hardly wanted to clear the game.

She didn't want to leave.

Starkette

Location: Floor 1 - Deep in the Forest
Interacting With: @KabenSaal @BlueSky44 @sMoKe @Jedly

"She's mute?" Starkette asked, her gaze softening a bit. Evidently, there were some things that even virtual reality couldn't fix. She chewed on her lip, bringing up the map of the first floor on the drop down menu. Remaining in the woods, as far as she was concerned, would be suicide. Returning back to the Town of Beginnings? It would undermine all of the progress they made.

Her eyes flashed over the map, looking for any smaller towns nearby. "As far as I can tell, we should move on," Starkette explained, glancing up at the group. "We're halfway to the next town, which means we'll be able to get items before they're all picked over. Going back to the Town of Beginnings would be suicide for our survival, just like staying here would be."

As far as Starkette was concerned, their best odds would have to be to move forward. However, she didn't want to just declare herself the leader of the group, so she waited. Perhaps the others would have things to say, but she was largely certain they'd all come to the same conclusion as her. It was inevitable, as she couldn't fathom any other decision being correct. "We travel in a group, swords drawn and ready. Stick to the partner system, no one gets hurt. If we're lucky, something might drop some healing items--which should happen, as the system recognizes that we have none."
@hagroden Accepted :)
@Pundii Jaina and Sutton are both done for relations. :)

Aidan Ferguson

Location: His Office; Dunder Mifflin

"If I didn't feel it was needed, I wouldn't have said it," Aidan explained, his patience wearing thin. Gerald may not have been irritating in the same way that Chris was, but he had often got on Aidan's last nerve on more than one occasion with his unrelenting happiness. "Make it happen, Fischer."

He sighed, retreating back into his office. Already, today was horrible. Though to be fair, each day for the past eight years that Chris showed up to work had been horrible. Aidan had already considered giving Chris paid leave, just to be rid of him. Whenever Chris went on vacation, Aidan wanted to throw a party. And then, practically just as he went into his office to escape the irritations of his workers, the devil himself walked in, his face a mess of tears.

Aidan scowled, looking at the piece of human garbage in front of him as he gave his weepy tale. Very slowly, methodically even, he opened up a tab on his computer, entering in the details regarding Chris' absence. Eventually, he hoped the bloke would slip up, claim that the same thing had happened twice to him. The man was an ant--and he, he was the boot.

"I expect an invite to the funeral. Lang may yer lum reek," Aidan muttered, just as Chris dashed out of the office. He sighed, leaning back in his chair. He attempted to avoid staring at the cameras, but instead rolled his eyes. They were already proving to be a nuisance, meddling with his usual mode of punishment for Chris. Dunder Mifflin couldn't do to have the head of the New Castle branch look like a jackass, even if Chris' story turned out to be the horse shit he expected it to be. Throwing a knowing glance at the cameras, Aidan rolled his eyes, and collected himself.

He had a meeting to run.

Leaving his office, Fischer's new comment brought an even deeper scowl to his face. A vein in his forehead was pulsing, as if it was about to burst. "Bloody brilliant idea, Fischer!" Aidan said, practically shouting. Attempting to give a cool grin towards Nana, it more looked like the smile of a raving serial killer. He'd had enough with social interaction for the day.

He entered the Conference Room, taking his spot at the front. Locking eyes with Gwen, his face softened into a smile. There she was, sitting in the back, diligently taking notes. He couldn't have asked for a better intern. Now, if only his daughter Elspeth could be as problem free as Gwen...That would be his paradise.

Gwen Westbrook

Location: Her Desk (9), Main Office Area; Dunder Mifflin ---> The Conference Room; Dunder Mifflin

Gwen glanced up at her book, grinning at bit at Ed. He was one of the nerdier people in the office, and definitely one of her favorites. Of course, she hadn't been sent to HR for anything beyond new hire instructions. "Well, she didn't write this, actually...The story is hers, but it was written by Jack Thorne," Gwen answered, closing the book and placing her bookmark inside. "It's about Harry's son Albus...I won't say much more. Spoilers, you know." She giggled slightly at the obscure River Song reference, but figured that Ed would catch it. And if he didn't, she'd need to introduce him to some Doctor Who.

Glancing up at Alastair, her eyes bugged out of her skull a bit. She knew exactly what he was talking about, Zinnia's new boyfriend. She's chatted about it with her girlfriend a little bit, but with Zinnia's dad? That would be....weird. She gulped a bit, thankful as Ed jumped in with an explanation. She'd be off the hook then, it seemed.

However, hearing Ed's advice, Gwen felt morally obligated to jump in. "Yeah, they do. Never turns out well," she answered bluntly, scooping up the supplies she'd need for the meeting. A madlibs, carefully disguised as a notepad. Bidding Ed and Alastair farewell, she went over to the conference room, a bit glad to escape that awkward situation. Taking her seat in the back, she sat down, pretending to take notes while Aidan strolled into the room, a concealed smirk on her face.
@Ghost Butt: Still waiting on you to finish your relations, friend. Remember, this needs to be done by Monday or you’ll be removed from the RP.

@PhunkyPhoebe @Nevix: How are those first posts coming? It’s been 3 days since we started the IC, so remember, you’ve got 7 days total…. So 4 more days to get your intro posts in! We’ll be moving along and going into the meeting now, so catch up when you can or drop a PM to me if you need an extension.

Daniyal's Attack Dog spell took near instant effect on Chase, likely because he was a bit of a dog to begin with. He foams at the mouth a bit, his eyes streaked with blood, as he begins to bleed out of the corner of his eyes. Almost bewildered, Chase attempts to fight it, hoping to head towards Jamila. Of course, all is for nought, as Darren and Amy managed to kill the Qareen with ease, piercing her heart -- the only vulnerable part of a Qareen. The day appears to be saved once more for those of you in the Town Center, with Chase under an enchantment, and the Qareen dead. Of course, this safety may just be an illusion...

Beyond the more disturbing events, the clock has just struck 2:30 PM. Most people have left the Town Center by now, and even more have left the Shopping District they took cover in. There's talk of setting up a shelter at Altsoba High, but most head home to be with their families. A few more try to flee the town, only to show up in the woods, mauled just like all the rest.

@Lady Amalthea: After searching the entire Internet for anything to help, Danica stumbles upon several sites of interest. One claims to have a listing of hunters, able to help for problems, yet it looks like a third grader set it up. Probably not going to be that reliable. Another site claims to be an authority on ghosts, explaining that ghosts form when remains are left in this world, and a spirit had unfinished business. It recommends Ghosts: A Natural History: 500 Years of Searching for Proof by Roger Clarke for further reading. Danica may recall that John Moses' full remains were never found as well.

@Lady Amalthea: Luckily for Amy, it seems all of the work has about finished. The paramedics are treating the last few people, beginning to wrap things up. Of course, work never seems to be finished. Amy is called back to the hospital, asked to assist Dr. Sorreast with more patients. Looks like she won't be getting a break for a while -- unless, of course, Amy decides she's going to take one anyways. Who's there to complain, right?

@Sohtem: Jessica's work seems to be cut out for her, but she receives word that Dr. Chang will be returning shortly. At least they won't be as understaffed anymore. However, she's not out of the woods yet. Instead, it looks like she's about to enter them. Remember the cop that bumped into Daniyal and gave him Ghost Sickness? He’s being brought in right now on a stretcher, suffering from strange burns that appear out of nowhere. Hope you've got something to fix that, doc.

@Pundii: Music continues to play in Jake's changing to this song, almost the moment he enters. He may notice that the clock on the wall, every clock in the small café really, has stopped at precisely 11:45 AM. Sutton hardly looks like herself anymore, though if Liam had been paying attention, he'd recall that she already had horrible burn marks on her hands when she handed him the coffee. Those are still there. There's no sign of who did this to her, or how.

Updates for all other characters (those interacting with the Qareen or Dr. Barnes, mostly) can be found below.

Jade Cornish

Location: Town Center
Interacting With: Mitsukuri Katsumi@BlueSky44, Scarlet Warrington @Sohtem, Darren Andrews @Pundii

Jade blinked, hardly understand all of the chaos that just occurred. She nodded at Scarlet, watching as the woman in front of her fell to the ground, her skin and hair greying. All of it seemed surreal, but the glint of a gun caught her eye. It was the young girl, the Japanese girl, pointing a gun at the raving doctor, the blood dripping down from his eyes.

"You're the asshole who did this, yeah?" Jade asked plainly. She didn't wait for a response, snapping the cuffs onto Chase's wrists. "I don't give a fuck how you try to kill people -- attempted murder is attempted murder, you git."

Chase instead whimpered a bit at Jade, the blood flowing from his eyes excessively. It was as if his brain had been liquified, seeping out of every crevice. The doctor attempted to ask for help, but only growls came out of his mouth, as he limped his way over towards the fallen body of Jamila. Becoming weaker and weaker by the moment, he collapsed on top of her, viciously gnawing and biting and consuming, until his body spilled, the blood loss too great to be sustained.

"...What the hell?" Jade whispered, her eyes wide. For a moment, she wondered if her medication had been mixed up with someone else's, causing her to see things. But everything had been all too real. There was no way she could explain what happened today. Throwing glances between Darren and Katsumi, Jade bit her lip.

"The apocalypse is real...We're fucked," Jade said, blinking at the bloody scene in front of them. Only mere moments after the last tragedy, another had occurred. If all of this was real, there had to be some sadistic asshole running the show.

Howard Brighton

Location: Town Center
Interacting With: Joel Schroeder @hagroden

The paramedics finish patching up Joel, handing him a prescription as well. It's rather lucky they managed to finish up treating for him, letting them avoid the wrath of Amy Chang for just one more moment. The paramedics quickly usher Joel and Howard away from the makeshift medical area, cleaning up the stations in order to care for the next pair. Howard buttons his suit jacket once more, flexing his cut hand, and admiring the wince of pain, like a child who touches the stove despite knowing it's hot.

"Enchanting," Howard replied, a snakelike smile on his face. "Shall we stop by the shop to procure some items and then head to your quarters? I just got my hands on the Book of the Damned, it's a fascinating read...A bugger to translate, I'm afraid."

Nodding his head at Joel, he motioned for him to join him, walking away from the paramedics and towards his humble place of business. He hardly batted an eye at the new wave of violence, having heard the gunshots and seen the police as they ran. He couldn't be bothered to care about people killing each other. If anything, it was welcome to him. More deaths meant less people to be irritated by.

He could certainly drink to that.

Dorothy Pender

Location: The Med Bay --> The Dining Room

Dorothy nodded curtly, watching as Daphne left. She pursed her lips, feeling an imagined slight. Things had been hard between the two of them, ever since Dorothy left their childhood home. She never had been the overly protective sister, instead viewing Daphne as independent and able to take care of herself. Her mistake had been overestimated Daphne's ability to remain with their wretch of a father alone.

"Jing chai," Dorothy murmured, the doors of the Med Bay shutting. She went back to the surgical instruments, sterilizing each one before placing them back in the proper place. The entire room was fairly spotless once more, and Dorothy smiled smugly, enjoying the organization. She absolutely hated mess and chaos. For example, if everyone would use a planner to organize their schedule, Dorothy was fairly confident the 'verse would be a better place.

Wondering what sort of tian fuhn di fu she'd find in the rest of the ship, Dorothy left the Med Bay, entering the Common Area. No one was there, so Dorothy figured they must have been up in the dining room. It had been the source of the shouting, as far as she could tell. Climbing up the stairs, she then headed down the small hall into the dining room, seeing Preacher with his deck of cards.

"Trying to shuffle your way out of trouble with the Captain?" Dorothy inquired, sitting down next to him. She motioned for him to deal her in--to whatever style of game he was beginning to play. As much as the Preacher irritated her, she couldn't resist a game of cards.

And of course, she was fairly certain he didn't have any card games that required Hail Marys to be recited.
Will be posting an update shortly! :) Got some other RPs to post in first.
