Guin Stark, Folly Valeska, and Dean Kesseli

Location: Stark Tower - Top Level

Guin tried not to make too much of a face when she heard Charlie suggest calling in the previous X-Men team. Before she went on educational leave from S.H.I.E.L.D., her primary job had been to coordinate between the X-Men and S.H.I.E.L.D. She had learned when she first arrived that much of the previous team had scattered, leaving Mary behind to rebuild. When people left like that, it wasn't generally with the hope of coming back. And while they could put a call out to the old team, they didn't have the time to wait and negotiate. Besides, that would be admitting that they were just Avengers Little League - that they weren't capable of handling issues. They were the X-Men now - the old team was a thing of the past.

"They're also kinda...old..." Dean pointed out. "Some of them are getting past their fighting days...Like beyond Wolverine being ancient, they're in their forties now...with years of mental issues and combat injuries or stuff..." he mumbled. He had been a student at the institute for the last four years or so. He wasn't blind to the fact that the old team hadn't just quit - they'd retired. Sure, some of them had gone on to join other teams, but he knew that a few of them had settled down.

"That's ageist," Guin pointed out. "Plus, my dad is just about fifty and he's still an active member of the Avengers, so don't really buy that explanation Kesseli," she pointed out. And of course, their biggest foe as a team was Magneto and he had to be pushing 90 years old. She was still wondering how he managed to conceive Pietro and Wanda in his seventies. She had heard some rumors around the mansion that Magneto and Xavier had actually been de-aged back in the eighties and it was how they met, but she wasn't sure how true it was.

Folly sighed, finding a lot of this conversation pointless and circular. "Reasoning with Jakobsen isn't possible. And Cornish isn't the one you need to be worried about - she's not the same sort of villain that he is..." she weighed in softly. She disliked the idea of sending anyone to go reason with a man who could not be reasoned with. She understood their temptation to hold onto the law, but she had let go of the idea of world governments and structure years ago. Chaos was going to reign if they didn't take action. Her ideal situation would be to have a shapeshifter take Jakobsen's place and shut the program down from within. However, her nostrils flared as she heard Allison insult Mary.

She may have been holding it together mentally, but no one called her only friend stupid. She could see Allison glaring at her and Guin had been about to go over and smack Allison for it, when Folly beat her to the chase. In the blink of an eye, Folly walked up to Allison and stomped on her foot. "The only stupid one here is you. You want to know the future?" Folly asked darkly. "You make it to the fourth year. And then die. Stupidly." She took a deep breath, maintaining eye contact with Allison before she walked back over to the other future people, not even caring if Ayita or Richard or anyone attempted to attack her. She'd heal from their attempts anyways.

Dean gulped, looking at Carolina for a moment. "...I'm not sure which one is scarier...Vengeful Allison or the psycho chick..." he whispered in Carolina's ear. "But uh guys, we really shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves...Probably what Jakobsen wants or something..." Dean added, raising his voice back to a normal volume. This time, Guin agreed with him completely. She wasn't sure what had gotten into Allison and had Folly not gone and threatened her, Guin probably would have switched with one of the Pietros and then punched her. Her impulse control was rather poor at times, but she lucked out this time around.

"...I'm not sure how well it'll work out, but I can go and try to talk to Jakobsen," Guin finally weighed in. "Rhodey's my godfather and that's our connection to him. Plus, I'm famous - but as a human. Not as a mutant. So I go in, talk to Jakobsen - and worst case scenario, I can switch with him and either ruin all of their plans and delete the data, or hell, just find the dirt...People like this are bound to cut corners. I'm not just talking dirt about his treatment of mutants - there's something else he's bound to be doing that Congress and the public won't forgive. We don't have to get him put away for this - just something."

Eliette Theriot

Location: Xavier's Mansion

Eliette rolled her eyes, catching the marble and they returned to their normal blue shade. She hated it when Charles and Erik talked like she couldn't hear them. Sure, she looked more like she was sixteen but she was an adult. She was twenty years old and she wished that they'd treat her like it. "Je ne suis pas une fille, Charles. Je suis une femme," she corrected him in rapid French, knowing that he'd understand it. Erik spoke the language as well. It was a nice change compared to the rest of the American population, which seemed to only understand French if it was followed by the word fry. "Et je vous entendais assez bien," Ellie added with a smirk.

Ellie then tossed the marble over her shoulder to Charles, her eyes flashing red as she manipulated it so it'd fall in slow motion, that way even Xavier would be capable of catching it. Ellie then turned and laughed at Mythri as she left, blowing the older woman a kiss as she then spun around again and caught up to Erik, skipping as she did so. "So, what's the plan, mon ami?" Ellie asked. She had pulled another marble out of her pocket and was playing with it.

Guinevere Stark

Once Lance had fallen asleep, Banner pulled a small teddy bear out of his pocket and set it down on the bed with Lance. Back before their relationship had been soured, Lance had given it to Banner for his birthday. He cherished the little bear, sewing its ear back on after it had fallen off over the years. And now, now he felt that Lance needed it more than he did. He sat down next to Lance's bedside, taking in a deep breath as he pulled out his phone and began to read to his son. "In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort," Banner read quietly. "It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle..."

Guin just nodded at Tony, coughing as she moved again but she didn't care. She got closer to her father and reached out, taking his hand. "It's alright. I'll just hold this over your head next time you tell me no to something," she said with a straight face, before she couldn't help it and she broke out into laughter, coughing up a bit of blood. "But seriously, Dad, it's alright...We're fine."

Three Days Later...

"There's really nothing you can do, Nick?" Pepper scoffed, on the phone with the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. "I don't understand, I thought you were at least competent at your job. If you can't find a Hulk fanboy in California that's bursting with gamma radiation and has abducted two children, then maybe I should call an organization that can." She had half a mind to call the U.S. Postal Service, just to make a point. At this rate, she felt they'd have similar progress to S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Hey there, big guy," Natasha said with a smirk. "Oh, and little guy," she added as she saw Tony. Banner didn't say anything, just pacing back and forth angrily with his hands in his pockets. The Malibu house had been turned into a mini Avengers HQ, with J.A.R.V.I.S. running every algorithm he knew in an effort to find Sterns. There was a crash outside and Thor walked into the house.

"He has hidden himself from Heimdall - a feat that I did not know was possible for those of Midgard," Thor mused.

Guin was sitting on the couch, throwing a sharpie at Thor. "Hey Legend of Zelda, sign my cast?" she asked, before snickering. "And I think he just called you dumb, Dad." Thor looked at Guin with confusion, before he opened up the sharpie and wrote his name in giant letters on her cast, covering up where Tony had signed it, which caused Guin to laugh even more.

Nancy Parker & Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Near the Oak Tree
Skills: None

As Belladonna explained who she was, Andromeda found her head swimming with more questions. There had been mentions of missions to correct things - had that been why Belladonna was in Altsoba? Had that been supposed to happen - was it fated? Or had her brother been a puppet of the Destruere? Were they able to control people in such a manner? Her mind then locked onto another thing Belladonna had mentioned - her daughter. It seemed that Belladonna was a Paradox, since she called Evelina her mother and their mother as well, so then Andromeda reasoned her daughter must have been killed at a young age - and remained so forever.

"Will she be joining us too?" Nancy asked, curious. She smirked slightly at Belladonna's suggestion of playing Wake the Dead, though she made a mental note to keep George away from it if it happened. She doubted he'd want to play that game on the day that Peter had died. He was rather sensitive, something that people tended to overlook in Nancy's opinion. "I have missed you and the little demon..." Belladonna was in her top five favorite Paradoxes, after all. If she ever had to return to the Viking Age, she'd definitely ask her to come along with and pose as Hel. It would be great fun.

Andromeda knew that Paradoxes couldn't have children. Had Evelina decided to revive a mother-daughter pair? She supposed that was rather sweet and kind, yet she knew that Evelina wouldn't answer the question if she asked. She had made it rather clear earlier that she would not explain why she had brought any particular person back from the grave. "Why were you in Altsoba?" Andromeda asked. "...Was it really the devil there? Or...what were they called...the Destruere?"

Nancy took a moment to look at the other Paradoxes, noticing that they seemed to be showing their real personalities now. Alexandra was incredibly talkative, whereas James was sweet and kind, if not a little dorky. Sophia was gentle and quiet. Andromeda - dear lord, that one had an inquisitive mind and Nancy was fully going to take advantage of that. She'd have the girl convinced that there was an Emendator called the Balloon before the loop reset five more times. Nancy was certain of it. Bart - well, she hadn't actually seen enough of him to form an opinion quite yet. And Faith, she seemed a bit shallow but proud and determined. She was going to have fun with her.

Virginia Crypt

Location: Nottingham
Skills: Sokw

Virginia nodded, thinking for a moment. She supposed it was unfair to expect Mary to be able to jump through such mental hoops, after such a great length of time had passed since she was last in this area. It would have been like expecting James to be able to know his way around all of England perfectly. He was too young to be able to navigate with any skill and had he left for another country, she would not imagine that in ten years time he would be able to give any approximate distance between two cities. "I'll go make further inquires," Virginia said softly.

After a bit of speaking with those at the inn, Virginia determined the distance to Manchester was out of range. She frowned, but decided that given they needed to stay and rest, it would be apt to make an attempt anyways. She then retreated to the room that Veta had already headed to. Once in the room, Virginia gave her companions a soft smile. She then whispered a slight prayer to Veliona, hoping that the danger of Sokw would not befall her. There was always a chance of becoming lost while using it to travel, due to its great distance.

She sat cross legged against the wall, in order to allow Mary and Veta use of the more comfortable pieces of furniture and Virginia closed her eyes, relaxing her mind as she began to use Sokw.

Maeve Brennan

Location: Outside the Inn in Annan
Skills: Deception

Maeve smiled in spite of herself as she saw the father dithering and fuddling about. While he had many childlike qualities to him, she now realized that it was an act - just a trick in order to lull people into a false sense of security. Or of course, that was what Maeve now believed about him. She supposed it was hypocritical of herself to be cross with him. She tended to change her own personality in these sorts of situations in order to be exactly what was required of her. Her real personality was shining through in her interactions with Lady Kirkpatrick, however.

Hearing Rory's laughter on the top inspired laughter in Maeve as well, as much as she was attempting to contain it. "Yer man is gonna trip into 'is own grave one day," Maeve mused with a laugh. She wouldn't have been surprised if something like that had already happened to him - if he were attending a funeral or even presiding over one, only to trip and fall into the grave before the casket had even been lowered. Though she supposed for a Protestant service, they more or less deserved it. Catholicism was the one true religion in Maeve's mind, whereas Protestantism was just emblematic of their British overlords.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: B&B in Mexico ---> Heading to the Border
Skills:

Cecily nodded, pulling her passport out of her bag just to confirm it was there. She had gotten it when she was sixteen and the photograph hadn't been one of her best. It was right in the middle of her awkward stage, but she still had three more years until she'd renew it and ideally get her picture taken again. It'd be nice to not have the frizzy blonde hair as her ID anymore. At least she hadn't smiled in it, otherwise her braces would've been showing as well. "Yes, I love this song!" Cecily said with a grin, before she started singing along with Natasha. Of course, the entire reason she enjoyed the song was from the bit about Picard.

Once the song finished, Cecily looked at Natasha seriously. She was realizing more and more that Natasha was also a geek. And while Roy had been her fangirling buddy in the past few days, it seemed like Natasha could fill that role as well. "Kobayashi Maru - what would you do? Go," Cecily asked with a smile. It was something she used to entertain herself with during boring plane flights - especially on trips to and from Europe. She always tried to come up with a different way to beat the simulation each time, though there were a few ideas of hers that were incredibly similar.

And sure, they were likely heading towards their deaths, even if they had avoided a close call with the Gonzalez family's insanity...But Cecily's mind didn't want to focus on the bad at the moment. She just wanted to think about Star Trek and later post about her and Natasha's best ideas to beat the simulation on Tumblr. She wanted to watch HSHE videos and giggle at the animated Batman and Superman arguing with each other. And of course, it'd also be nice to be able to help to solve crimes without getting involved in them again. Cecily missed that.

Iris Kingston

Location: Private Plane Heading to Grimm
Skills: Photographic Memory

Iris nodded. "Thank you," she said, rising from her seat and heading into the bathroom once Ross had taken his seat again. She shut the door and looked in the mirror, staring at her reflection for a moment. She looked awful. Iris grabbed a few paper towels and wet them, scrubbing her skin until it felt raw. She knew it probably wasn't the best for her skin, but she always felt a little more ready to face the day once she had done that - as if she had scrubbed away her worries and fears. Grabbing another towel, she then washed her face a little more kindly, ran a comb through her hair, and then put lotion on her hands to keep them from drying up.

Once she exited the bathroom, feeling refreshed, Iris noticed the food cart. She automatically scanned it for some Nutella, but the fresh fruit she saw wasn't half bad. She grabbed herself an orange and took her seat again, pealing it and making a small pile with the peel on a napkin. She then separated it and parted it, pulling out one little section of the orange at a time. "So what's the plan, mon ami?" she asked him softly.
@Chain: Unfortunately, you have hit day 8 and are hereby removed from the RP. I wish you the best of luck in your future RP endeavors.

Present Day - The Castle: December 21st, 12,507 - 1:45 PM

Myrus' eyes were partially glazed over, as he stared dumbly at the Palace Landing Stage, seeing the magnificent silver dragon land with her mortal companion. Thalia would be able to hear the sharp cries of a newborn baby, coming from within the Palace itself. And while the Prince appeared to be lifeless on the outside, on the inside, he was screaming. Mind control worked both ways - just as Myrus' mind had been opened to Nera, he had managed to glimpse into her mind. And what he had seen terrified him - the chaotic destruction of the Castle, with his sisters' heads on a pike. Valda you need to run!!!

Arya listened to Cuyler, memorizing the details of his tale. She was not quite sure what he was implying - did he imagine these forces at play were the gods of the Land of Long Nights? It didn't quite make sense to her, what those forces would be doing here, at the Castle. With everything happening, it didn't seem divine. It was the cruelty that humanity specialized in. "So you believe this Mistress of Chaos may be responsible?" Arya asked.

Thankfully, Rowland decided to help his apprentice, fielding Atkin's question about the Darke Week. "As tradition, the ExtraOrdinary Wizard never uses the Darke...But without the Darke, the Lyte cannot exist. Each apprentice studies Darke Magyk for one week, called their Darke Week, in order to understand it...And I hope, dear boy, never need to use it."

Asha gave Lyra a slight smile, before her eyes widened as she gazed at the dragon. "That is no ordinary dragon....It's a Tyme dragon!" Asha exclaimed, unable to hold in her excitement. Yes, there had been a gruesome death in front of her but her breath was taking away by the dragon. The illusionary red dragon paled in comparison to this. She could feel the raw power radiating from the magnificent creature and while she found it comical that a lowly man was riding the great beast, she was transfixed. She had thought that Tyme dragons were nothing more than myth.

"That is no illusion..." Arya murmured in agreement. This entire day was so insane and chaotic that she was beginning to wonder if Cuyler may be right - if it was the forces of chaos at work. Yet it was too planned, too methodical for her to quite accept that explanation.

Puck was grinning with glee as he saw the silver dragon land. "Come now, Amarantha my dear, show a little grace," Puck urged. "I have a feeling we are seeing someone we shall soon call a dear friend...But go, take a squad and move on the Port Witches. Supplement with my sister's witches as well. You will need their Magyk. I, meanwhile, have a business deal to make."

Nera Hawthorn

Location: Port Witch Coven House

Nera silently absorbed the information that Rhys was providing. He had indicated a pressure point, a weakness - and that wasn't something that was easily forgotten. Even if she were to have a lapse in memory, all it would take would be a short trip down the Witch's Road in order to recall it perfectly. She could Sense from Rhys how much he wished to flee. He was worried, then, about being found out for what he was. Nera smirked slightly. He was far too easy to read.

Marya and Medea shrugged, before Marya spoke up. "We aren't really tired," she pointed out. Medea nodded, chiming in. "Just tell us where you want them moved to...We could use a good run..." The twins were fidgeting, hardly able to stay still. The lengthy trip to and from hadn't taken hardly any energy from them. "Знаш, могли бисмо је једноставно убити и сами преузети Цовен..." Marya then whispered to Medea. "Да, али забавно је гледати како све изгубе..."

"And there is no need, Witch Mother. You attend to matters here. I will go prepare the girl for you - a bit of Concilium should calm her from any frenzy." Nera then smiled sweetly, as if her words were venom and she were a snake. Nera then pressed a kiss to Fleur's earlobe, before she retreated into the house and paused on the threshold of Malekith's room. Per her instructions to the twins, they had stashed Luna there. She could Sense the waves of fear and panic coming off of her.

"Sweet Luna, do not fear," Nera instructed, before she began to use Concilium, forcing Luna to sit on the bed and be still. Once a few moments had passed, Nera opened the door and waited Lilith. With any luck, Malekith would be replaced by the Princess-in-Waiting.
