Present Day - The Castle: May 4th, 12,508 - 1:00 PM

@Nallore@KazAlkemi@LadyRunic: There was one thing to be certain - Minerva was more ruthless than the rest of the party. Nera sighed slightly, hearing Ahote admonish her for lying and deceiving them. She had her reasons for withholding information. Perhaps it was silly to keep sentimentality in such a lonely afterlife, after her love had abandoned her for so long. "Are you finished admonishing me and appealing to my clearly well defined and irreplaceable set of morals?" Nera asked with a bit of a yawn. She then nodded slightly at Arnora.

"Never did I describe her as a tyrant," Nera said, seemingly losing interest in Grimspound and the others. Minerva rolled her eyes slightly - it wasn't like Nera's ghostly afterlife got any more interesting than this. "If you want this item so much, you can find that information on your own. Everyone these days just wants things handed to them...They don't work for what they receive..." It seemed to be a bitter note for her.

"I still think burning this place down would be easier - witches or not, they're dead," Minerva argued - but Arnora was wise. Ghosts could still Cause things to happen to the living.

@LadyRunic: As Rhys heads back home from Wizard Way, he'll notice the ExtraOrdinary Apprentice, Atkin, wearing his street clothes and heading out of the nearest message rat office. Atkin scrunched up his face slightly before he threw his ExtraOrdinary Apprentice tunic on the ground and huffed, heading to the Ramblings where his family lived.

And then, as if in some sort of cosmic joke, Rhys would also see Ernie - his old friend(?) - heading back from the Snook's Nook. It was located outside of the Ramblings and housed the largest markets at the Castle, with the exception of the Trader's Market. Better late than never?

@mnkee: Out in the hallway where Lyra remained, Rainbrook was looking rather nervous and ill at ease with all of this. For whatever reason, Cuyler yelling at him had shaken him up a lot - as if he cared deeply about the Northern Trader's opinion. He breathed out for a moment, ruffling his hand through his wild hair in agitation as he paced back and forth. "I mustn't tell..." he whispered over and over again. He definitely was of a nervous disposition.

A ghost of a young Castle Queen Appeared next to Lyra. She was Sabelina the Wise - remembered as the Castle Queen who brought the entire Small Wet Country Across the Sea under the Castle's reign. Her gaze and smile were unnerving, as if when she looked at you Sabelina was determining every possible way to defeat you.

@FantasyChic: Meadow took in the news with interest. Her cousin, Prince Myrus, was dying? She frowned slightly, remembering talk with her advisors about the tensions between the Eastern SnowPlains and the Land of Long Nights. Both of them wished to have the Castle's allegiance for the same reason the Lagoon wanted to control it - for its resources. "Queen Valda will be vulnerable, then," Meadow mused. "Perhaps the time for your forces to strike is soon. She'll be too preoccupied with her brother..."

Arya Rincewind

Location: The Palace - Princess Luna's Chambers

In the brief few moments that Arya was unconscious, she found herself in a strange clearing. Draped on her shoulders was a red cloak and as Arya looked to her left and right, she noticed that she was not alone. A wise woman who seemed about her age stood next to her and turned, giving her the slightest smile. "Come home, Arya," the woman whispered.

"Who are you? Where am I?" Arya called out, the road seemed to go on forever in either direction she looked in this wood.

"You must come home."

Arya's eyes then opened and she found herself on the ground, soaking wet. The entire room was covered in water and she glanced around wildly, trying to ascertain what had happened. Whatever her dream had been about, it was almost entirely forgotten already. If pressed, she would not be able to recount what had occurred. Her amulet was still around her neck and Arya was shaking - she knew not if from the Sickenesse or the cold that penetrated her bones. "Forgive me, Your Majesty..." Arya said, her voice feeling hoarse. "I am quite well, I am sorry for distressing you."

Myrus continued to sleep, as if the water had not hit his form. Yet while Arya had dreamt during her slip into unconsciousness, Myrus' mind was too exhausted to conjure a dream for him - or perhaps, it could not fathom an image to provide him comfort. A message rat slipped into the room, asking for the ExtraOrdinary Wizard - and once Arya confirmed it was her, the rat began its message: Arya - I really loved being your apprentice, but I'm needed at home - and with this illness, me mum's not really chuffed to have me at the tower...Sorry, but I quit. Love, Atkin.

Arya's face flushed from embarrassment - but sorrow filled her. She could not blame Atkin for wishing to dissolve the apprenticeship. She shut her eyes for a moment, afraid that if too much more happened she would burst into flames. The pounding headache made concentration difficult and she was in no condition to help Myrus. She could barely help herself.

Antonije Magnisky

Location: Number 40 Alchemie Way - Living Room --> the Basement

To recap, the Banner residence is becoming quite crowded. Let's just briefly summarize who is there and who everyone is, since as while the physical space is becoming less and less adequate for all of these people, I have a feeling the RPers are struggling as well:
  • Runa, Baldur's daughter, Granddaughter of the eternal flame, and Mistress of Lies - Bruce's mother
  • Lance Banner - Bruce's father
  • Astrid Banner, Traveler of the Nine Realms - Bruce's younger sister
  • Halley Banner, Mistress of Chaos - Bruce's older sister
  • Bruce Banner
  • Myth the Muse
  • Antonije Magnisky - Bruce's adopted son
  • Marya and Medea Magnisky - Bruce's adopted twins, younger sisters of Antonije
  • Sylvi the Bard - Antonije's girlfriend
  • Tinsel - Astrid's niffler

"Marya, Medea, Превише људи, идемо доле," Antonije said to his siblings. He didn't mind if Bruce's family heard this one, figuring that they'd all be able to understand it. It was both nice and irritating that Bruce was able to understand Serbian. But at any rate, things were getting too cramped up here for his tastes and Antonije wanted to feel like he could breathe again.

"Хоће ли Силви остати код нас?"

Antonije shrugged slightly. "Ако жели," he said, before his twin sisters rushed in a flash of silver down the stairs into the basement. Antonije nodded at Sylvi, beckoning for her to come if she wanted to, and he gave the gods assembled the middle finger before heading down into the basement. As soon as he got down there, he felt like he could breathe again. "Превише проклетих људи..."

Back upstairs in the living room, Astrid smiled at her soon to be sister-in-law. "I got you guys an amazing present - you're not allergic to animals or anything, right?" she asked with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. "And don't worry Brucey, it's not a niffler!"

Runa huffed a bit, but let her husband lead her into a chair. "I'm fine, love..." Runa gave him a soft kiss, her head still pounding as she had spent the majority of her energy. She was glad that Bruce's siblings seemed to be getting along with his fiancée - and she hoped Nova would arrive soon. She was an hour late now.

Leda Storm

Location: Thalia's Tree

Leda had gotten in an early morning run. During the summer, it was hard for her to find a place where she could actually get exercise. While most of her siblings preferred working with the pegasi and practicing the manipulation of rainbows, Leda preferred wearing through a pair of converse practically every day. The camp was crowded at these times though, meaning that she got to test her reaction speeds. Thankfully, not a lot of people were out early in the morning, allowing the rainbow speedster to do what she did best: run.

Unfortunately, on one of her final laps, a group of Hermes Campers (no doubt inspired by Zeke, the asshole) had decided it'd be fun to try and trip the daughter of Iris. She had built up enough speed that if she did fall on their legs, she would likely shatter their bones, meaning that she had had to jump over them. With the speed and the jump, she had practically flown, only to launch herself into the woods and slam directly into a tree. Fast forward to a few minutes later and she had walked over to the triage station the Apollo kids had set up. She hoped she didn't have a concussion, but she was covered in scrapes and bruises and her right arm definitely landed funny.

"You really need to stop trying to trip me - it's trending and someone could - and did - get hurt," Leda said, walking up to Zeke.
Often times, things don't go as planned for the GM. I was looking through my notes and found this scene that I had written three months ago (obviously, things didn't turn out like this). Thought you guys might enjoy it as a What if Novikova Had Gotten Trapped Instead? read.

The Playground - Location Classified: August 30th, 2020 - 9:15 P.M.

Novikova just grimaced slightly. Knowing that there was an infinity stone in there with Sparky and Raynor just made things worse. She was certain neither of them had a suitable container for it, meaning that if they were to touch it, they would likely collapse into a pile of ashes - or a fog, she wasn't really sure what the Quantum Realm was like in terms of gravity. And even if she assumed that they'd manage to touch it safely, infinity stones had a tendency to corrupt anyone who held them or used them. The Sparky and Raynor they got back may not be the same.

"This is making me sick," Novikova muttered. She had hardly touched her food and she stumbled out of her chair, barely making it out to the trash can by the kitchen sink as she sank to the floor and started to wretch. All of the stress, anxiety, and uncertainty was getting to her.

"Sci-Tech?" Hawkeye correctly deduced. Operations and Communications graduates tended to have a little firmer stomachs when it came to this sort of thing. The science types tended to keep an (un)healthy separation from things.

"Yes," Bonnie said, before she nodded at Maria. "I managed to get a portion of her DNA from...from the recovered remains. Based on my analysis, she has a match to two subjects: Pietro and Wanda Maximoff. Wanda is currently imprisoned at the Raft and Pietro was pardoned for his actions. He's working with the X-Men in upstate New York at the moment... But given the description of her and her age, I can't imagine those two had a child naturally."

"...What I'm trying to say is I think she was made - that she's some synthetic creation based on their DNA," Bonnie continued. "Von Bardas dealt with a lot of illegal tech - and cloning tech is out there...It's probably some variation on it that created Luminous."

Hawkeye nodded, but he was more concerned with the immediate issue: the mole. If he was right about his thoughts, then it wouldn't take very long for them to be confirmed. Of course, it would be good to check everyone just to be sure. "I think medical should have the equipment to make a lie detector," Hawkeye agreed. "Agent Chase, do you think you could set it up? Have Agent Bautista go first - once she's cleared, we can add her enhanced hearing into the medley."

Bonnie nodded. "Of course - it shouldn't be too much trouble to assemble."

Hawkeye then sighed slightly. Abercrombie had ignored what he asked. Sure, he wasn't the mightiest Avenger or anything but it miffed Clint to have her not even acknowledge what he had asked her to do. "Look, if you don't want to do a quick screen, then say so," Clint said, rising to his feet as he headed to the north sleeping quarters - the quarters that housed Hawkeye, Bonnie, Jim, Tinley, Cass, Harry, Flynn, and Victoria. "I'll find out myself," he said, notching an arrow as he vanished from sight.

Bonnie's face then paled. "The plans!" she then took off to bioengineering and research at a sprint.

"Oh gods..." Bonnie whispered, seeing the place practically ransacked and the plans nowhere to be seen. Only the data that Tempest and the others had recovered remained, since they had been kept on a flash drive on their persons for safekeeping.

Raynor Blake

Location: the Quantum Realm: Quantum Void - Region Ψ
Skills: Light Manipulation

For whatever reason, Sparky seemed to have checked out of the fight and Raynor didn't blame her for it. Still, he would have appreciated a little concern after he got shot. He loved her - didn't she at least like him enough to go oof? or something? He gritted his teeth, pulling the bullets out of his chest and he screamed in pain. Pressing his palm on his chest, he cranked his light manipulation all the way up and cauterized the wound.

"Thank Thor," Raynor muttered. He then raised his hands to blast light at the other guards, but in the time he had taken to deal with his life threatening injuries, they were ready for him. The guards sprayed him with bullets, hitting Raynor repeatedly and the Asgardian lost consciousness. Most of the bullets had exit wounds and he was bleeding, his clothing stained with his own blood.

His last thought before he blacked out was Lana...

Guin Stark

Guin's heart was pounding and she was trying not to think about how critical radiation exposure was linked to cancer. No - she was definitely not thinking about that. Her skates gave her an idea, but it was risky. She didn't know if it was physically safe for her to make contact with that much radiation - but it would save the world. Their parents seemed to be off getting set up and from what she could tell, Sterns was just warming up. If they hit him now, they'd save their parents and the world. Maybe it was impulsive - maybe it was just the adrenaline pumping, but she couldn't get the idea out of her head.

"You know what's another cliché? These stupid ass questions!" Guin pointed out, taking a breath before she crouched down slightly and then, as if jolted with realization, she took off her skates and set them to max acceleration. The skates launched from her hands and hit Sterns in the chest, sending the man stumbling backwards until he fell from the roof. "Lando, can you go fight him? He won't be done," Guin said, looking at the contraption. "I can shut whatever this thing is off." She then quickly gave her best friend a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Good luck. Don't die on me, Pikachu."
@Morningstar Colossus is a part of the Mutant Underground so any character can be friends with him tbh.
@RavensMuse Get some rest, make the edits tomorrow. The CS will still be here.
@RavensMuse

  • The face claim - I feel a bit gutted since there's no way you could have known this, but that face claim is in use by another RPer for this universe of Rp's. So I am afraid that you cannot use this face claim and I do apologize for that. As an alternative, might I suggest Lizzy Caplan in her role of Janis in Mean Girls? She has a similar vibe and looks!
  • For birth place and powers, the code has an error - it has the entire line colored and bolded. Same thing is happening in habits, character quote, and anything else. And in the appearance section and relationship status.
  • Powers - I know that we discussed essentially that she can draw an animal and it comes to life. It's just confusing the way you've worded it in the sheet and I'm not getting the same meaning from it? And her telekinesis of course.
  • Take out free running under general skills - just have it in combat
  • Under possessions, make sure to include her clothing
  • Missing something under the anything else as well
@RavensMuse No harm done, we all make mistakes. I'm reading over your CS now and will be giving some feedback shortly!
