It seemed that Rhoda was not going to be a conversation partner for her. What a pity. Professor Walnut sighed slightly as Rhoda began to treat and bind her wounds. She knew that she was lucky that they were not deep - but if luck had truly been with her, then there would be one less person drawing breath in the sewing room. "Even still, you have my gratitude," she told the servant, despite Rhoda's insistence that it was just what she had been instructed to do. Had Rhoda not been there, she would have had to treat her wounds herself. She certainly was not going to let the diabolical Dr. Swamp to do it. She knew that the man's nature would be revealed to the others in time, she had to be patient.

She really hoped he would vomit. At least then she would have some sort of entertainment here! Instead, her ears were forced to listen to Amaranthine sing to her sweetheart. Yes, she had seen the woman perform before and she had enjoyed it. But now, having actually met her and seeing her pathetic adoration of Dr. Swamp, it made Walnut once more wish that she could either gouge her ears out or sever the woman's vocal chords. How much more torture and agony could she be expected to bear? "Thank you," she said with a nod, as Rhoda finished. "Do you know if I might go rejoin the rest of the party?" she inquired. The room was stifling.

Leda Storm

Location: Flying!

The little girl was eagerly chatting away and Leda couldn't help but smirk slightly that she had chosen Zeke's chariot. She had a feeling that Zeke had just gained a little sister - though the girl didn't strike her as a child of Apollo. If anything, she seemed like a kid of Hermes. The entire Hell Raising Committing? Yeah, that had Cabin Eleven written all over it. She snickered a little bit as Mary continued the piling on on Zeke. Did Leda feel for him? Yeah, it had to suck, everyone calling him names. But did she actually care? Not really. There was a difference between being empathetic and being compassionate.

The blonde girl with the sarcastic quips? Leda liked her. The new ginger came and got into her chariot, which Leda took as a sign that either 1) ginger thought she was cool or 2) she actually was cool. Sadly, it was more likely the former but Leda could work with that. Controlling the pegasi and trying to get their chariot to go fast, she glanced back at her companion as she asked how long she had been at camp for. "Three years," the Brit told the ginger with a slight smile. "My name's Leda. Ley-duh. Daughter of Iris - the Rainbow Goddess. So yeah, Pride is kinda my jam," she had emphasized her name's pronunciation, knowing that the Americans tended to try to say Lee-duh instead.

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Main House - Room 101: Sitting Room
Skills: N/A

Andromeda practically wanted to gag as Gilbert declared that the overall picture still placed wisdom with his proposed actions. It sounded like something that would only be said either in a Star Wars film, Game of Thrones, or in a long long Shakespeare play. She knew that she herself had been buying into letting the Emendators call the shots, as they were experienced at this and they were all a bunch of rookies... But she had always hated it in college when people talked like that, trying to kiss up to the professor by showing the expanse of their vocabulary and syntax. It irritated her then and it irritated her now. Death couldn't change some things. She agreed with Faith's sentiment, as much as the end of it struck her as a little odd - she was always wary when people said that they needed something. It usually wasn't followed by anything good.

She felt a bit like putting a bullet between her own eyes as Giouse took what felt like a solid leap backwards. Not only was he continuing to move like a sloth, but he also was proposing that Faith wasn't trained in whatever needed to be done. She had missed some of the conversation but it seemed clear to her that Faith could save Evelina in a solo quest. Why waste time? Yes, they had all of the time in the world but her gut was telling her that it wasn't really that simple. What was stopping the Destruere from coming into the loop? The carnival people had shown up, after all. "Not to be rude but... Faith needs to go on her solo journey, no matter what, if we want to save Evelina. So let's get that crossed off the list. For the rest of us, well... It would make sense that we go learn from someone with abilities similar to my own. Neither of you can summon a tornado or cause sickness with a touch. I know that you can shift as well Gilbert, but James might benefit from someone who shifts into animals. Sophia's senses and ice also don't align well and neither really do Bart's abilities..."

"What I'm trying to say is - while we do have to work harder, we have to work smarter. I don't think doing the same method of training is going to be sufficient. I think we all need to walk a path that will be tailored to our powers if we are going to stand any chance."

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Grimm, Indiana (Police Station)
Skills: Deduction

Cecily's eyes darted down the list of alive students, but her mind kept on darting back to Justice. It was a lot like Gotham - or even Star(ling) City, home of the Green Arrow. Everything that happened to them, it was like something coming out of a gritty take on Batman, only none of them were superheroes. They were just regular (okay, Cecily was regular, the others weren't) people trying to survive amidst this massive conspiracy, fighting a shadowy organization that they didn't even fully understand. She hadn't woken up and decided to be a hero - she had gone into work in order to do her job, to use science to uncover the truth. And now, she was caught in the crosshairs.

"Alright, got a list of names of surviving students who are still alive," Cecily said. Riley's name stood out to her. Her roommate - the woman she had gone on a date with and she still wasn't sure what sort of relationship she wanted with her - the one who had gunned down the madman behind the original killings. If she viewed this through the perspective of a comic book, then this was Riley's story and it was all culminating in this. The only question was - how had that killing changed Riley? Was she still a force for good? Her paranoia was eating away at her and Cecily shook her head slightly. Riley wouldn't have done this.

"I'm not sure this will yield much," she admitted, as she started googling into the backgrounds of the remaining Star Students - as well as the ones who had recently died, such as Tinder and Riley's twin. "But while I'm running the world's fastest and hopefully not least thorough background check... Riley's sister and Marc Tinder both died incredibly recently. That can't be a coincidence that these killings are starting up again here in Grimm so soon afterwards."

She winced internally. That didn't look good for Riley. Her sister and friend die, and now this? Either Riley was next or she was the culprit. Cecily didn't like either option.

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: N/A
She rolled her eyes slightly at Pietro. "Since when would I do something rash and cause an explosion?" she asked him. "But yes, yes, I'll have Leo and Fortes come with us," she reassured him. She didn't truthfully feel the need to have bodyguards and found it annoying that they followed her around, but it was less annoying than Pietro hovering over her constantly or asking that she not leave the Palace without him. Giving him a quick kiss, Guin then nodded at Allison, indicating that she was ready and she left the ballroom with her.

Outside of the ballroom, Guin's bodyguards were more or less already there, having been on stand by to escort her if needed. "Miss Stark, are you leaving the grounds?" Leo Luwoye asked. Her other bodyguard, Fortes stood next to him silently.

"Yes. Loose follow, please. Miss Andrews and I are going to the lab," she told her bodyguards. She would have ditched them if she wasn't completely convinced Pietro would freak out and drag her back here. She still wasn't sure if Allison was telling the truth or not - though her intuition was telling her to trust Allison. There were so many questions as well then as to what to do about the world. For some people to achieve happiness, others were likely suffering. She had seen the treatment of humans at the hands of mutants first hand - she hated it and didn't take kindly to it, despite marrying into the family that perpetuated it.

But she could also see opposing argument - that maybe this world was better for enough people and that reality was such a flimsy concept that... who was to say who should suffer and who shouldn't? Was there any meaning to the way things were is how they should be?

Shaking off the thought, Guin headed with Allison to the garage, getting into the back of one of her cars. Fortes was her driver and once everyone was settled, Leo got into the shotgun seat and the car pulled out, driving them from the Palace to Stark Tower. Guin smirked a little bit at Allison in the back seat. "Were you calling me dumb here?" she teased. She knew that most likely wasn't Allison's meaning, but the words did hit a bit of a sore spot. She hadn't dreamt of being a princess. She was born to Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, growing up as just another kid of humans in a world ruled over by mutants. While she loved her mother, she was always closer with her father, working with him on little projects since before she could walk. Her dream had been to be just like her father - to make the world a better place through technology, like Tony and also like her grandfather, Howard. "I'm more than just Pietro's fiancΓ©e - no matter the reality," Guin said. Maybe it was a promise to herself or just a statement for Allison.

Casper Theriot

Location: Outside - New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
Casper wasn't too sure of what to make of Chrysi. She reminded him a lot of his sister, Val - she was pretty sweet and kind at first, even seeming approachable, but she had a vicious streak to her. When they were kids, Val had almost severed their brother David's vocal chords during a fight over a sock monkey. He couldn't help but wonder who Chrysi's anger and violence was directed towards - who had taken her sock monkey and threw it into the pond. Of course, he hadn't told either of them that Casper had been the one playing with the sock monkey, trying to take the toy with him for a swim... But neither David nor Val figured that one out and it was so long ago that he wasn't about to fess up to it.

However, he had heard of infinity stones before. His father told him about them. Ben's face paled slightly - he had heard stories of them as well, stones that represented an aspect of existence and allowed the user to control it. "Time..." Ben whispered.

"Space..."

"Soul..."

"Power..."

"Reality..."

"And Mind..." Casper whispered.

"The Incident happened because of Loki and just two of these stones... What's the Red Guard and why the hell do they have one? Also..." Ben was cut off by Casper, but they were on the same page at the moment. They both had the same final question. "How the hell do you know where an infinity stone is?" Casper asked.

"Cassie, this is bad. We can't let the Thieves Guild get their hands on an infinity stone... I don't even what to think about what could happen. And you KNOW that it's bad when the ghost is scared!" Ben insisted. Casper just nodded slightly at him, biting his lip and fidgeting slightly. He didn't want to believe that Jack, his baby brother, was a villain in this world but... If he was part of a group trying to steal an infinity stone, a group that this psychopath was also in, then maybe it was true. Maybe Jack wasn't the person he thought he was.

"As for which stone it is..."

"It has to be mind or reality," he mumbled to Ben. The ghost nodded in agreement. Casper was about to ask Chrysi another question when his baby brother showed up and he couldn't help but groan slightly. "Jackie, I love you but I'm in the middle of a conversation here. And I can't tell you what's going on because you're maybe a super villain now - which makes sense, your hair looks FANTASTIC and villains always have better hair."

Runa Blake

Location: Banner Residence - Sydney, Australia
Skills: N/A
Runa relaxed, a bit relieved when Lance moved to close the door and that he was picking up on the potential danger of the situation. Midgardians didn't just show up with a ship, come up in a large force, and then inquire as to where a doctor was. It spelled trouble. It reminded her of the tales her uncle Thor told - of his work with the Avengers in defending the realm of Midgard against Loki. Was Loki behind this? It seemed likely to her. It was also his style, with the exception that someone else had been installed as king and not him... Her nerves shot up again as the people asked where Banner was on December 3rd.

If these people were police, why hadn't they led with that? Her false memories of this world informed her that people were expected to present symbols - badges - in order to certify that they were tasked with upholding the law. She was completely oblivious as to everything else going around her for some reason, more of just focused on what was directly in front of her - her boyfriend and the door he had almost entirely shut. "What master do you serve?" Runa asked the agents, her voice a bit soft. She winced slightly, realizing that in this world, she wouldn't phrase something like that. At least her accent seemed more or less the same - that was a comfort. "I mean... What authority do you have to come ask questions?" she corrected, hoping that Lance wouldn't be alarmed at that. The fairy tale was quickly turning into a nightmare, but she wanted to draw it out even still. She didn't want to see the hatred in his eyes when he found out what she was.

"Lance I think we should call your father..." Runa whispered to him. "This doesn't feel right..."

Dominika Novikova

Location: Banner Residence - Sydney, Australia
Skills: Earth Manipulation
Novikova internally winced, seeing Maria reach for her bow. The situation was escalating and she needed more time to decide what to do. She twitched her fingers slightly, before trying to remember everything she could about Australia. They had earthquakes from time to time, right? She had to imagine that it wouldn't be that unusual if an earthquake occurred... And if she ended up being fired or made an outlaw from the Red Guard, well... Her visions never lied. Lance had the same soul as her best friend, Sparky. She had already set the world on fire in order to bring Sparky home safe.

Why not do it again?

"I'm so sorry," she whispered to Maria. "I shouldn't put you through this again," she told her girlfriend. She took a breath and started to focus on the ground below them, attempting to feel the earth like an extension of herself. She couldn't get a good grip on it, but after another few centering breaths she managed to encase the feet of each and every Red Guard member in earth, preventing them from moving. "Sp-Mr. Banner, we need to run now or you and your girlfriend will be killed," she told him. She held out a hand to him, hoping no one started shooting.

"We don't have much time. We really need to go."

Virginia Crypt

Location: Gretna Green
Skills: N/A

"What other Crypts have you met?" Virginia asked, a bit curious as to what other branches of her family this man had encountered. Crypts tended to defy nationality and sovereign borders, being found in various locations all over the world. Of course, she and her immediate family were British but that did not apply universally to the extended lot. A Crypt was a Crypt first, then their respective nationalities second. His words about her father did bring her comfort and Virginia nodded, blinking ever so slightly. There was no shame in crying but she didn't feel like it at the moment. There was work to be done.

As the carriage came to a halt, Virginia collected her items, ensuring that the gifted journal was stowed away carefully. She departed the carriage, ready to pull an axe from their sheaths at a moment's notice if that was deemed necessary. The quaint town did not strike her as dangerous - all the more reason to be prepared. Taking the money she had offered the driver, she handed it over to him. "Thank you for the safe passage," she said calmly. "If you are ever in need of the aid of the Crypt Family, please tell them that the Lady Crypt sent you," she instructed him. Her family was rather helpful - one of the commonalities amongst all of the branches. She glanced around Gretna Green for a moment, wondering where here exactly Millicent would be found.

"If you had ventured to Gretna Green in order to be married, where would you go in this town?" she mused, glancing at her companion.

Maeve Brennan

Location: House Kirkpatrick - the Parlor
Skills: N/A

Maeve could appreciate to a certain extent the cryptic nature of Lady Kirkpatrick - but it frustrated her equally. She didn't like having a half answer be provided to her - the answer that the one to worry about was the one controlling him was one thing, but it didn't give her much to go on. It didn't explain a motive or who this individual might have been. She didn't know much about the young woman's fiancΓ© so she couldn't fathom a guess as to what was going on. "T'be sure. it'll be a moment," Maeve answered succinctly. She glanced at the paper Lady Kirkpatrick had been written on, getting a gut feeling that perhaps she was replacing the letter Millicent wished to be sent. She couldn't confirm it or anything, beyond asking to see both and just looking to see if the squiggles on the page looked the same to her. It just more or less seemed the type of careful deception that Lady Kirkpatrick would employ.

Heading off to the kitchen, she spoke quickly with Cook and retrieved an uncooked potato, before coming back to the parlor where she had left Lady Kirkpatrick. She was not exactly certain what the Lady Kirkpatrick wanted with a potato, but she was waiting to pass judgment on it. She doubted that she had been sent off to retrieve a snack and she imagined it had something to do with this entire affair at hand. "'ere yer are. Might I ask what changes yer made?" she inquired, figuring that it couldn't hurt. Lady Kirkpatrick hadn't shushed her inquisitive mind just yet. She wanted as much information as she could about what was going on, since it concerned Lady Kirkpatrick and that meant that it concerned their deal as far as Maeve was concerned. There was nothing she would not do for her daughter.

Asgard: May 11th, 12,508 - 7:45 PM

As Arnora would glance to her left, she would just see a small snow flurry. Her mother had the ability to turn herself into snow carried by the wind and it seemed that Skadi had only really intended to stick around for the ceremony. The goddess spent a majority of her time up in the mountains - a banquet hall hardly qualified as one. And as tended to be the case for gods and their mortal children, Skadi didn't feel the need to say farewell to her daughter. Contact was limited and Cuyler's case was extremely unusual, with him being brought to Asgard. If his mother was not the All-Mother and current Queen of Asgard, it may not have been allowed.

Runa giggled slightly at Myth's declaration that with more women, they could overpower the men. It reminded her for a moment of a rather small person who had once declared her to be a man-hater. "Whatever you need, Myth, you need not but ask," she told her daughter-in-law, pleased that the ceremony had gone off without a hitch. She was unaware of Loki's presence during the proceedings, and no one who had seen the Father of Lies - her uncle - had informed her. "Now please, come and eat - you need to keep your strength up," she said, to both her son and Myth.

"And yes, Bruce, I have met your sisters," Runa rolled her eyes at her son. "I did birth them, after all."
The Castle: May 11th, 12,508 - 6:45 PM

@KazAlkemi@eclecticwitch: At the Palace barracks...

Baby Dawn giggled, enjoying the toy that Mona had prepared for her. The baby then got a funny look on her face - this usually meant she either was about to soil herself or something - and she let out a sneeze. Instead of just spraying boogers and the like everywhere, the baby girl giggled as the rattle burst into flames at the end. Fortunately, Mona would be able to drop it in time before she herself got burned or anything like that.

Apollodora smirked slightly, more interested in the baby than what Amarantha was saying about Fleur. "Is that Dawn?" she asked, chuckling a bit. She then returned her attention to Amarantha. "Fleur, the Witch Messiah? Where's the fun in me telling you all of the answers?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Though truthfully, I don't know. How much do you know of events that happened before your birth? It wasn't really the sort of thing my father spoke to me about... Of course, not that I speak to my parents often. I'm the black sheep of the family."

@FantasyChic: Over in the Badlands, far from the Castle itself....

Acantha stared at Fleur, before she nodded wordlessly for a moment. The images had impacted her psyche far more than she would ever care to admit. If Lady Luck smiled on her, then her grandmother would kill Fleur. She took another breath before her blue eyes darted towards the horizon. This wasn't the type of place to train to fight her grandmother in. "If you are going to defeat her, you need to train on a mountain - you won't be fighting her in the Badlands," Acantha explained to the Witch Messiah.

There was a mountain a few days journey to the west of where the witches lived in the Badlands. It was called the Devil's Sword. People were said to go mad there, turning on their friends and sacrificing them for nothing more than a trinket. "You know the mountain you must train on," Acantha then wagered, looking at Fleur. "We can head there once you are ready. I will train you there - it will take over a month, so you'll want to prepare for an extended absence."

Myrus Silvers

Location: the Palace - Dining Hall
Skills: N/A

Myrus nodded slightly at Luna's idea. Maybe it had something to do with his room - but wouldn't he have found something by then? He had lived in that room practically his entire life and he had spent a lot of time with the ring in there, if there was something that it opened or unlocked... Why hadn't he already stumbled upon it? It didn't make much sense to Myrus and he bit his lip slightly. He was hopeful that the ring would have something that would help protect his sisters - but if it didn't, then he'd have the Palace booby trapped for Fleur just in case.

"The Chief Scribe is a bit weird... But they can probably help," Myrus agreed. He figured it had a better shot of working than just going around the house pointing the ring at doors, given the massive size of the Palace. Perhaps the Manuscriptorium would give them some sort of starting point, in order to be able to find out what the ring does more quickly. He didn't see any problem with bringing the odd ring to them. Valda was the Queen - they wouldn't do anything bad that could get her hurt in his mind. Myrus finished his plate of food, before taking the ring back and slipping it onto his finger. His hands were steady, a dramatic improvement over his earlier state.

"...Should we head there tomorrow?" he suggested, since it was getting late in the evening.
@mattmanganon I can put in my notepad to send you a ping once we get to a spot where new characters could be added in - it would be at the start of the third story arc and we are about a third of the way into our second story arc.
@mattmanganon Not at the moment. We aren’t in a good spot storyline wise to add new players.

Asgard: May 11th, 12,508 - 7:30 PM

In the back of the Great Hall, out of sight to those attending the wedding but visible to the lovebirds and the Goddess of Love, a man in simple green attire stepped into view. He smiled at the couple, giving them a slight wink. Yet in another moment, he was gone and the ceremony was allowed to come to its natural conclusion. Bruce Banner and Myth the Muse were officially wed. And while it had been a bit of a shotgun wedding, Asgardians never turned down a chance to feast, celebrate, and honor their ancestors.

"Well, congrats, I now pronounce you as newlyweds. Now kiss each other already or I'll use my powers over love to make you kiss already."

"Come - it is time for merriment," Thor announced with a chuckle, standing up from where he had been seated on the groom's side. Arnora's mother hesitated for a moment, glancing around in order to see if it would be appropriate to speak now. "Quite busy - the giants have begun to stir as of late on Jotunheim," Skadi explained to her daughter in a hushed voice. "Once you finish training in magic, I would like to train you to slaughter Frost Giants."

Skadi then sat back, looking like she had been merely commenting on the weather. Thor then motioned for everyone to follow him, leading them through a side chamber and into the Feasting Hall, where a decadent spread had been prepared. There was every type of game one could imagine prepared, with plenty of ale to go around and fresh bread.

"Congratulations," Runa told Bruce and Myth with a smile. She gave them each a huge hug. "I have always wanted another daughter, though I think my husband wishes we had more sons," she said playfully.
The Castle: May 11th, 12,508 - 6:30 PM

@KazAlkemi@eclecticwitch: At the Palace barracks...

"You haven't changed in the slightest, Amarantha," Apollodora said with a grin. It would immediately become apparent to Amarantha who had trained Apollodora - who had taught her how to sneak up on individuals flawlessly, to fight without ever giving in. Apollodora would be Amarantha's pupil in the future. "As for assistance... Well, I will need your aid once my father returns home from the land of the gods. If he does not return in six months time, then we will need to lure him down to Midgard," she explained.

"Though you don't need to worry about if she'll look to the wrong people," she then added. "I can answer that for you now. She will," Apollodora explained firmly, without a single doubt. "My mother has the capacity for great good and great evil. Blaise Rowland will know that better than anyone else - he knows what she is and went to great lengths to save her soul."

"But the man that will find my mother once she emerges? His soul is full of darkness."

@FantasyChic: Over in the Badlands, far from the Castle itself....

Bernice had confirmed with Fleur that she was willing, ready, and able to complete her task. She then left with Constance in order to come up with an identity to use to infiltrate the Palace, as well as to obtain clothing that did not mark her for a witch. Meanwhile, Acantha started snickering a bit as she looked up from what she had been working on. Very few people in the Coven actually found her charming, but no one dared to say that to her face.

"Me mum's dead, so that would be a sight to see," Acantha told her. "But if you mean Gran... Well, lucky you. You'll get to get yours at the hand of the Witch Queen," she said with a bit of a smirk. She tugged a bit at her vibrant red hair, musing over Fleur's request. If Fleur died in the duel, it would leave an opening for her to take over the Coven. "I'll train ya to fight her," Acantha then said with a smile.

"On the condition that you name me your heir, of course."

Myrus Silvers

Location: the Palace - Dining Hall
Skills: N/A

"Through the matrilineal line... No Magyk until Valda," Myrus told Ahote. Generally, the Royal Family found Magyk to be weird and messed up - until the situation suited them. Their eyes never turned green, indicating that someone had the Magyk within them. And unless they were CradleSnatched, their eyes never went blue, meaning they had become a witch. "But from our father's family... The Silvers... I don't know much about them," he admitted. He knew that his father's family had some Alchemists in it, but they were long deceased. They had high enough social standing at his father had married Queen Meliscente, of course, but beyond that the Silvers were not discussed too much.

At Valda's explanation that the ring was Magykal, Myrus couldn't help but be more and more confused. Was there another Hidden doorway somewhere in the Palace that they hadn't found before? Some of the rooms were disguised, such as the Queen's Room, and only blood relatives of the Queen could see them. Had his father set up something similar, with that ring being the key? And how would a key allow them to walk through the hellfire, whatever that was? Had his mother known that there was something special about her husband's ring? "This might sound silly but... There's loads of empty rooms in this Palace. Maybe one of them is unlocked by the ring?" he suggested. He couldn't really think of anything else it could have been. Was it a secret fortified chamber, one that Fleur would be unable to find them in?

"Some sort of... panic room?"
