Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Leda didn't feel like it had been that much of a quest - there was no prophecy and no one nearly got themselves killed. If anything, it felt more like a quick jaunt to the grocery store to get milk before dinner - something relaxed and laidback along those lines. However, she gave Theresa a smile, knowing that it was a bit fake. Theresa was nice and all, but she was a horrible gossip and Leda knew better than to cross her. Besides, the daughters of Aphrodite were hot. "It went great, Terry," she said, using a shorthand for her name. "Though there are some really weird little kids that we brought back... And you'll never guess who their father is..."

Leda zipped forward and whispered into Theresa's ear. "Hades." She had no doubt that everyone in Camp Half-Blood would know that there were multiple new children of the Big Three around - and the fact that they were kids of Hades, the least popular one? That made it even more significant. Her gut told her that this had to be a sign of something brewing, something that would cause a lot of demigods to die but she kept her mind off of it. She'd save the pessimistic thinking for her dreams. She didn't stray too far from where Theresa was, working on tending the shrine to - her brain was almost certain it was Kymopoleia or someone similar. "Marygold, do you have any bets on who the others will be claimed by?"

Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower - New York City, New York (Outfit)
Skills: Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Guin nodded at her grandfather's questions - Allison did have mental powers. "If the hypothesis is that her mental powers are why Allison remembers this other world... Then wouldn't I have the same situation as her then?" Guin asked, more of talking to herself. She was a telepath. And while she wasn't going to openly say this, she was also a Stark. Her family was known for their intellectual capabilities, so if anyone was going to remember the real world, why wasn't it her? There was no news from Pietro, meaning that her brain was focused on this issue. Eventually she was forced to come to the conclusion that it was more or less luck of the draw, if Allison's story was to be believed.

She paced back and forth slightly. She knew there was nothing on the scans to suggest that Allison was lying - they seemed to indicate that she was telling the truth. However, accepting that the reality she knew was fake... That was a lot to take in. Guin wasn't some sort of crime fighting hero. She was raised in wealth and privilege, never having to learn how to fight and not even needing to work a job. Everything had come effortlessly and she had two parents that loved her, as well as the best grandparents in the world, and she was marrying a prince! Her life was a fairytale here.

"Okay, Allison, assuming you're right... Which is hard to wrap my head around... How did reality change like this? Who else remembers it? What were our lives like in the other reality? And I imagine you'll be pissed at me for asking but... you said Oshea was dead in the other world. What if this world is the better of the two? Should we be trying to change things back? I mean, isn't that kinda like playing god?" she asked. She felt like she could trust Pietro with this, but she didn't know about Wanda - and given that they were twins, she knew anything she told Pietro would end up being told to Wanda at some point.

"...Let's not involve Pietro with this," Guin said, her arms crossed. "I don't know who we can trust if you're right, Allison."

Casper Theriot

Location: Outside -> Inside the Casino - New Orleans, Louisiana
Skills: Mediumship
Casper was incredibly thankful that his brother managed to knock out the psychopath, as the blue glow around his hands faded and he no longer was channeling Ben into the real world. He felt incredibly hungry, as if he hadn't eaten for days, and a bit dizzy as well. "Anyone got any Go-Gurt? Or Paul Rudd with a Go-Gurt? Either works..." Casper asked, taking a few steadying breaths and his hands were shaking slightly, like he had overused a muscle. "I really hope Paul Rudd is still a thing in this world... He's an inspiration to us all..."

"Where the hell are we..." Ben muttered. Chrysi's explanations had just been vaguely threatening statements at the end of it and given her mental state, Ben didn't trust her. He didn't believe her story about knowing that there was an infinity stone and besides, it looked like Chrysi had nearly killed her sister. She was as much of a reliable source as Tony Stark was on affordable and sustainable living.

Casper then spotted the spirit of a ginger and he swore under his breath. While he actively avoided using his powers whenever possible (Ben being the only exception), he knew that it wasn't a good sign to see the spirit of someone who just collapsed. People near death in comas had an ability to end up in a limbo state of sorts. "Hey, uh, Jackie?" Casper called out, running after his brother. He wondered if anyone had been watching Jack's kid while they were out there - though he was pretty convinced the kid had to have been kidnapped. His brother was a playboy and slept around, but he knew how to use a condom... or at least, Casper assumed he did.

"I think she's in a coma... I just saw her spirit," Casper explained, wringing his hands slightly. It freaked him out a bit that the thought of spirits and ghosts didn't scare him. In the real world, he used drugs regularly in order to shut out his powers and to try to forget the childhood abuse he suffered at the hands of his father, the seemingly perfect Charles Xavier. "And uh should the kid really see this?" he asked. "She might end up like me if she does..."

"Good point, no one would want to end up like you," Ben teased.

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: The Quinjet - Sydney, Australia
Skills: Eldritch Magic
Runa complied with Niah's request, taking a seat. She hated doing everything these people asked but it was in Lance's best interest. She knew that she was just human in this reality and didn't have the durability of an Asgardian, but old habits died hard. Runa still unconsciously thought of herself as being in no real danger from a human - and only some from a mutant. There were some on Asgard who enjoyed interacting with Midgardians, but the majority viewed Midgardians as no stronger than an ant. However, her hands started to shake with anger as James callously proposed killing Lance. She was glaring at him so intensely that if looks could kill, James would have died more than once.

Novikova, meanwhile, was hoping that James would say Hail HYDRA - it would explain his cruelty. "And here I thought we all had to get psyche evals before joining the Red Guard," she commented, throwing a look in James' direction. Between Niah's passive anti-human behavior and James' active psychopathy, she was getting a small headache. Of course, she was one to talk when it came to making comments about mental illness. She hadn't been the same ever since she developed a control over metal. She chuckled slightly at Shelly's comments about the auto-pilot, finding that refreshing compared to the entire situation at hand.

Lance didn't seem to pay any attention to Runa as she went over to him and she felt the little bubble of happiness she had when thinking about him falter slightly. She let go of his hand, listening to what one of the agents had to say - that Lance's father was the green beast called the Hulk. Her uncle Thor had told her about the mindless beast of Midgard, one that somehow could channel its rage and fight battles that ordinary Midgardians could not. His strength easily matched if not exceeded that of the average Asgardian. Loki had manipulated the Hulk before - so to her, it was more evidence that her other uncle was behind all of this. "The beast is vulnerable to magic," Runa reminded them.

However, there was an earlier matter that she had to attend to, as Abercrombie handled the ice manipulator, encasing the others' feet in ice and then knocking the girl out. Runa made a beeline over to James. She spat in his face. "You're a monster," she told him, before she punched him in the gut. Instead of just being a physical blow, however, she knocked James' astral form out of his body. "I'll put you back in your body once you cease to annoy me."

Mystique and Sapphire were both unconscious, and Novikova wasn't sure what Runa had done to James, but it seemed to have taken care of him. "Maria, love, do you trust me?" Novikova asked, taking her girlfriend's hand in her own. She took a slight breath. "This world... it isn't real. Someone messed with reality, reshaped it to be the way they wanted it to be. In the real world, this skinny little wimp... he's our friend, Sparky," she told Maria, hopeful that maybe this would jog her memory. If Maria didn't stand down, she would have to knock her unconscious. Of course, they had bigger problems to deal with. The Hulk was loose and it was a gamble that delivering him the Red Guard agents who kidnapped his son would calm him down.

Novikova knew the basics about the Hulk - he had been an ordinary radiophysicist prior to the accident and during her PhD, she had cited a few of his papers in her thesis. Wolverine's method of punching the Hulk until he calmed down struck her as one of the more likely ones. Looking around her at the quinjet, she got a potentially horrible idea. "It's no Iron Man suit but... I might be able to pummel him with the quinjet," she suggested.

Rather than being informed on the events she had missed from the woman who referred to practically everyone as petal, she instead had Sister Penance asking her as to what had happened to her hands. Walnut sighed inwardly. She knew that people were going to ask about this and she straight up ignored Amaranthine's barbed comments directed her way. "I was assisting Dr. Swamp with tending to the wounded man - Plum. Swamp attempted to kill Plum, I must confess I do not know why, so I used my pistol in an attempt to save Plum from the man. My first shot was unsuccessful and on the second, the pistol backfired and injured me," she said succinctly. She really hoped no one else would ask but she imagined that she would have to repeat that tale a few times before the night is over.

Her eyes went over towards the Lady of the House as she entered the room, though Walnut's initial labeling of her was incorrect. This wasn't her domain. At the mention of the Dowager, she began to anticipate an even older woman to come and take charge. She had to wonder how much the Lord had informed the rest of his family about all that was going on. Some men did not share information they did not deem strictly relevant to share with the others. Perhaps though these women knew more than he did. Walnut felt a slight pang of sympathy for the young woman weeping - it was a cruel world and some were not fit for it or prepared for the cruelty when it struck.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Day 4:

Beatrice wasn't a religious woman, but she would have thanked a handful of deities when she found out she no longer had to room with Amelia. Her opinion of Amelia had not gotten any better over time and half of her wondered if getting to sleep with Riley - both in terms of actual sleep and then sex - would help the ex-ginger's mood. If she wanted to spend her time around crying people without hair, then she could have gone over to Tatiana and Jack's baby. Sharing a room with Thalia and Erica suited her just fine, since she... well, she wasn't sure how to clarify her feelings about Thalia - they were friends or something - and Erica didn't make her want to go kiss a walker.

Day 5:

When Tatiana went for her interview and didn't come back for hours later, Beatrice couldn't help but wonder what exactly the interviewers were trying to accomplish. Her own interview hadn't been that hard - did they let Tatiana have a bathroom break? Did they bring her in food? Or was it some sort of comical miscommunication where the interviewer didn't know he was scheduled to talk with her and then awkwardly came in four hours late? Beatrice did go and spend some time with Thalia that day, mostly just making a bit of conversation with her and asking if she wanted someone to work with her on things. She knew she had been pulling away, but she felt she owed a debt to Thalia. And if she was being entirely honest, Beatrice didn't really know if she could emotionally pull away from her entirely - something was stopping her from doing so.

Day 6:

Of all the interviews.... Beatrice couldn't help but wonder what had happened with Ash's. Had someone started to beat him silly, due to his connections to Thana? Thana had been brought up a lot in her own interview, so she imagined that they same was true and then more so for Ash. She stared at him for a few moments, but given his expression and body language she wasn't about to go over and chat. However, she had something else to do. She went on over to Thalia that day and took a breath. It was something she had been thinking about. "I'm a bitch," she said bluntly to her. She hesitated, looking like whatever she was about to say was incredibly difficult. "But you're my bitch - my friend, I mean... if that's cool," she finished. It was her way of trying to be nice and to more or less apologize for the way she had been treating Thalia since they got to quarantine. With tomorrow being their last day and potentially the last time they'd see each other, she might as well do it now. It was now or never.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: N/A

Day 4:

Jack hadn't been called for his interview yet, but that didn't mean there wasn't a bit of good news. At the end of the day, the announcements came in, saying that rooms were being moved around. As much as he loved getting to be in the same room as Froggy, having a room with Tatiana and Jamie? It was practically a dream come true. He missed getting to spend alone time with his wife and child. He figured that Froggy would enjoy having a room with Ash - Froggy had been Ash's second briefly back in the day. Riley and Amelia having a room together also struck him as a good idea. Sure, it was specified to change things up but it honestly struck Jack as making sure people who were compatible with each other got to live together. It would make things easier on Jamie too, he figured, being able to be around both of his parents.

Day 5:

On the fifth day, Jack was the last of the interviews to go. When Tatiana came back from her monstrous ordeal, he was about ready to go and ask what the hell was taking so long. No one had had an interview that lasted this long before and he didn't see why his wife had to be put through all of that. Instead of asking though and demanding an explanation, he went over to the little space she had made for her and Ash - part of him wondering if it was just a her and Ash thing or if he would be allowed in to comfort her - and he went and sat down next to her, pulling her into his arms if she let him. He could tell that she wasn't exactly in the talking mood, so he decided to just be there for her and comfort her, until his interview was called. He was a bit nervous as he went, but thirty minutes later and he was back. He looked emotionally drained, even though his interview had been on the short side.

Day 6:

On the sixth day, Jack was debating whether or not to ask if they had one of those baby backpack leashes around - it would have done wonders for Jamie with the way he was darting all over the place. "I got him," he chuckled. "They taught us how ta deal with runnahs in the academy," he joked, referring to his days back as a cop. He got off of the couch and went after Jamie, making a few random ~sound effect~ noises as he kept Jamie from pulling anything down and getting himself hurt. "Oooh I got ya!" he told his kid with a goofy grin. However, as Ash then returned from his interview... Jack's alarm bells went off. What the hell sort of interviewer had he gotten?

"Hey man..." he said softly, trying to open up a conversation with Ash, but Ash didn't respond. He looked over towards Tatiana, extremely worried about his friend.

Checklist for before you post:
1) Update your character's age if they've had a birthday
2) Delete items in the Possessions portion of the CS (I suggest saving a copy of their current CS in a PM with yourself, for if/once time travel schenanigans undo things as that is possible)
3) Update your relations. Just living agents. NPCs are not required.
4) All characters that were asked to be shelved for House of M have been killed in this uprising - don't worry, they'll come back at the end of the arc.
5) Let Morose know you've done all of this.

Counters are reset for everyone

EDIT: For relations, just put down gut feelings. No need to go and bug everyone about them. However if you notice someone put something really off down, let me know and I will have them fix it.

October: In an effort to defeat Ultron after he spread his presence on the Internet and made a new body for himself at a robotics laboratory, Hawkeye inducted the S.H.I.E.L.D. team into the Avengers. The Avengers Initiative had been a S.H.I.E.L.D. program to begin with and Fury turned a blind eye to the merged team. S.H.I.E.L.D. itself was too busy with HYDRA, as the organization tipped the war against S.H.I.E.L.D. in their favor due to Ultron crippling S.H.I.E.L.D.'s technology. As Avengers, the agents took on the following codenames: Psychia (Niah Bautista), Only Idiots Have Codenames (Raynor Blake), Bastet (Bonnie Chase), Firestorm (Freddie Flynn), Sparky (Theresa Sparks), Dominion (Tinley Abercrombie), Livewire (Tempest Renroir), Titanium (Cassandra Reed), Mockingjay (Maria Smith), and Reverse Iron Man (Harry McCormick).

The mission to eliminate Ultron completely was unsuccessful. Not only was Ultron still out there and replicating himself, but the team suffered great losses... Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and War Machine all gave their lives in the battle. Spider-Gwen sustained serious injuries and Ultron used the Hulk against them, dividing the team in an ultimately meaningless fight.

November: By this point, it wasn't just S.H.I.E.L.D. that Ultron disabled technologically. He recaptured Hank Pym and forced him to build a robotic army for him and threatening the lives of his wife and daughter, both of whom he held captive, Ultron's influence encompassed the world. The nation of Wakanda was one of the few places beyond Ultron's influence, thanks to the technological expertise of Shuri. Her brother T'Challa, the King and the Black Panther, left Wakanda and joined the remnants of the Avengers, along with Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel).

The Fantastic Four launched an attack against Ultron's base of operations in New York City (as where else would a villain settle?) but like the original Avengers team, it wasn't enough. Only the Invisible Woman survived, with Ultron sparing her life and instructing her to tell the other superheroes in the world that it was pointless to stop him. He had already won. A few superhero teams disbanded, with the X-Men being one of the only hold outs. The mutant based group had combined with Serval Industries' X-Factor team, as well as some remaining chapters of the Mutant Underground, and started to plan an assault.

December: The X-Men's assault plan never got to see the light of day. Ultron managed to corrupt Danger, the sentient Danger Room that they used to train. Danger brutally murdered the X-Men, broadcasting the murders worldwide in order to crush any remaining portions of hope. The X-Factor team was brought to Ultron by the Hellfire Club as a peace offering, beginning a deal of sorts - criminals had their lives spared and were allowed a semblance of autonomy within Ultron's organization, provided they brought him the heroes that would rebel against him - living or dead. Some members of the Brotherhood accepted this arrangement as well, but others defected and went into hiding.

Towards the end of the month, Luminous had been freed from the Raft by Ultron. She found the Avengers team and brought them to Ultron. They narrowly managed to escape with their lives, as Tempest used her hacking skills to temporarily stall Ultron. The Avengers team was able to get away, but Luminous tortured Tempest for information. She didn't reveal their base of operations. Luminous ripped out her heart.

January: The Avengers team was taking in more and more heroes, including Agent Roman Carter and a young teen from Queens - Spider-Man. He and Spider-Gwen worked well together, though Spider-Gwen eventually revealed that in her home reality, she had known a Peter Parker. His death had been her fault. It was too painful for her to be around him, so she left the team. They didn't find a body, so everyone assumed she either had disappeared or that Ultron had captured her.

T'Challa, the Black Panther, had managed to get information from his sister on a potential virus they could use to stop Ultron. The Avengers team took the virus and went to Ultron's lair. Although they were successful in installing it, it only momentarily stunned Ultron, before he adapted beyond it. T'Challa and Peter were killed in the escape attempt. To add insult to injury, Ultron then televised the executions of Dr. Pym and his family, seemingly having no use for the inventor any longer.

February: The team had smuggled themselves across borders and enemy lines, making it to the safety of Wakanda. T'Challa sister, Shuri, had taken up the mantle of the Black Panther. Although she was able to use her skills in hacking to keep Ultron out of Wakanda, there was only so much Wakanda could do. The team discussed it and recommitted themselves as Avengers, as agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and they planned to evacuate people from a nearby concentration camp of sorts that Ultron had constructed.

This was the first victory for the team with everything that happened. They managed to get one hundred people to the safety of Wakanda, but it was not without sacrifice. Ultron managed to hijack control over one of the vehicles they were using for the evacuation and he blew it up, killing everyone on board. Harry McCormick had been the one driving that bus.

March: The world was more or less entirely under Ultron's thumb, with any living person either joining his organization (the criminals) or being sent to a work camp (everyone else). The vigilantes and the heroes were executed on live television, as a reminder that there was no hope in this world. The age of heroes had ended and this was the age of Ultron. Given that, Ultron could not tolerate Wakanda's existence any longer. Taking some powered individuals from one of his work camps, Ultron brainwashed them and sent them into Wakanda, pretending to be refugees.

Their powers were chosen in order to allow them to level the nation in a way Ultron could not. Some of them caused fires, some of them caused tornadoes, but the deadliest weapon Ultron used was disease. A young mutant girl brought back the Bubonic plague. Others Ultron sent then targeted the medical supplies, essentially giving the people of Wakanda a choice: die a gruesome death from disease or submit to Ultron's regime. Sparky was one of those who succumbed to the plague, as well as Director Fury.

Wakanda opened its borders and surrendered.

April: The team, alongside Shuri, had been placed in a detainment center and were being transported back to Ultron's headquarters. Once they reached New York City, they were saved by some unlikely allies: Spider-Gwen and Doctor Strange, Master of the Mystic Arts. The Sorcerer Supreme used his magic and transported them to the New York Sanctum, a place that he had disguised mystically so that way no technological being could find it. Ultron didn't even know that it existed. The sorcerers there helped to heal those who had fallen ill, using their powers to do something medicine could not.

Meanwhile, Ultron publicly executed the Queen of Wakanda.

May: More and more of the sorcerers at the New York Sanctum gave their lives in efforts to free people from captivity. In some cases, they were successful and the refugees were taken to the London or Hong Kong Sanctums, far away from Ultron's main base of operations. There was even some thought given to using magic to send them to another planet in the galaxy or potentially to send them across the multiverse into a different reality. For various reasons, all of these evacuation efforts failed. By the end of the month, Doctor Strange was the only sorcerer left in the New York Sanctum.

June: Ultron introduced his heir, the Vision, to the world. The synthezoid had been constructed earlier in the year, but only was now activated as Ultron felt the world had finally submitted to his dynasty. The remaining team members and Doctor Strange were considered public enemies, with large rewards being offered for any information to help locate them and the Sanctums. Somehow, Maria also got a hold of an Iron Patriot suit.

You are all that remains of the world - you are the last line of defense, the last bit of hope, the last shield.

New York Sanctum - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 7:00 P.M.

It had been an incredibly surreal nine months. No one could have predicted a devastation on this level was possible - no one had seen this coming. In hindsight, of course, the apocalyptic destruction of the world by Ultron made a scary amount of sense. The X-Men had averted an apocalyptic future at the hands of O.M.E.N. - so the universe decided to mix things up a bit, making an even worse future for the world come even sooner. Raynor Blake sat in a corner of the Sanctum by himself, sharpening his blade, Lytin. He hadn't been the most open book before Sparky died. Without her, he had started questioning what the point of all of this was lately. It was a surprising friendship formed with Spider-Gwen, with Raynor feeling like an older brother to the web slinger, that had kept him from saying screw it and just joining Ultron's regime.

"Hey, you wanna play a prank on Strange?" Spider-Gwen asked Raynor. Her hood was down, revealing a kind face. Her blonde hair was half shaved, creating an interesting mohawk sort of effect. In front of her, she had a little drum pad and she was absentmindedly hitting her drumsticks against it.

"Sure kid," Raynor said quietly, putting his knife away. "How exactly are you planning on pranking the wizard?"

Spider-Gwen shrugged. "You're old as dirt - maybe even older - figured you'd have an idea or two."

Over at the top of the staircase in the Sanctum, a makeshift medical area had been set up. Bonnie was busy tending to wounds that the Black Panther (Shuri), the Invisible Woman (Susan), and Captain Marvel (Carol) had obtained on their latest reconnaissance mission. She tried to approach each day with a fresh attitude, but her face was pale and her hair had dulled in color, losing a bit of its golden shine. Everyone here was capable of extraordinary things. They all had powers they could rely on in order to fight back against Ultron and his army. She, instead, was just a liability.

"There, just let me know if it looks like it gets infected or anything," she told Captain Marvel, finishing patching up her arm.

"You got it, Doc," Captain Marvel said with a smirk.

"Did you uh... Did you find anything?" Dr. Banner asked. He was working with Bonnie in the medical area, knowing that an out of control green rage machine wasn't exactly what they needed at the moment. Dr. Strange was at the bottom of the staircase, floating a few inches in the air as he meditated. He didn't seem to be in the most talkative mood at the moment.

"Yes. You will not like what we found," Shuri, Princess of Wakanda and the current Black Panther, told Banner and Bonnie grimly. They had managed to intercept some plans, taking out a small portion of Ultron-bots in the process. The designs, well...

"To use a Star Wars metaphor - Ultron is building his Death Star," Captain Marvel interjected.

"With the weapon he's building, and to describe it in non-Star Wars terms, he could potentially destroy any city or country on the planet... He probably could destroy the entire planet, or some other planet if he felt like it," Susan Storm explained.

Bonnie bit her lip slightly. Each time it seemed like Ultron couldn't possibly do any further damage, he managed it. She had to wonder how Novikova and Pym would have reacted, knowing that this was the price for saving their loved ones from the Quantum Realm. Sparky wasn't even still alive. Her eyes darted towards the corner, spotting the only survivors of the Quantum Realm left alive - Spider-Gwen and Raynor. Had their lives been worth all of this?

"...What's our play, then?" Bonnie asked softly.
Thank you!

Washington D.C.: September 8th, 2020 - 1:20 PM

Frost International HQ - Downtown Washington D.C.:

Frost International is a Fortune 500 corporation, specializing in largely transportation (building ships and aircraft), though they recently have started to branch out into electronics. They're nowhere near as big a player as say Stark Industries or Pym Technologies, but they have started to make a name for themselves. Emma Frost runs the company, as it was founded by her father, Winston Frost. The relocation of its headquarters to Washington D.C. from Boston happened a few years back, so the building is relatively new and security measures are up to date. From his position across the road, Requiem will be able to see people coming in and out of the building, mostly employees - no one recognizable beyond Jinx of course.

Inside the lobby itself, there were security guards sitting at the main desk. In order to enter the building proper, you needed to have the guards open up a set of automatic doors. There are some places to sit, mostly for people waiting to be taken up into the building for an appointment. A fish tank against one wall has a lot of tropical and dejected looking fish, while soft jazz music plays around them from some sort of intercom system.

"Hey buddy, you can't stand here," one of the guards told Jinx, waiting to see how he reacted. "Either you've got an appointment or you need to scram, kid."

The Morlock Tunnels - Washington D.C. Sewers:

Erg wasn't the type to reassure Leighton that her family would still want her. In his experience, humans were cruel whenever they had a chance to be. Odds were, her family would pretend to accept her at best - and at worst, they would call the police on their own child. "You are too young to make mistakes, Leighton. Whatever choices you make now can largely be undone," Erg reassured her. It was partially a lie. She could make a mistake. She could make herself a target of the Purifiers and get herself killed.

Luckily, neither Erg or Leighton got hurt from the shards of the bottle. Erg thought for a moment, before he realized what happened. Leighton froze the bottle so fast that the glass rapidly contracted and shattered. "Yes, you did," he chuckled slightly. "Now let us see if you can freeze a bottle without creating a weapon," he suggested. He found another bottle and set it down, looking at Leighton. "Concentrate. Your power is an extension of yourself and your will."

Veil

Location: The Mutant Underground - Washington D.C. Station
Skills: N/A
Veil didn't hesitate to answer Luna's question. "Unless it's too graphic for Havok's delicate ears, everyone can hear whatever it is you have to tell me," Veil told her calmly. She trusted her team and while she appreciated the value of compartmentalizing information and keeping secrets, her gut was telling her that everyone would benefit from hearing whatever Glimpse had to say. And knowing these people, they'd pester her and ask what Glimpse had been here about anyways. It would save time to just get it all out in the open right now.

"Trust is earned," Colossus agreed, having heard Sapphire's comments about Glimpse. He crossed his arms slightly, a clear sign of him closing himself off at least emotionally.

"Like hell do I trust her!" Havok snapped. "Just because your aunt is Psylocke and your father is Captain Britain, it doesn't mean you're a good person," he was glaring at Glimpse and Veil sighed slightly. She knew that it was dumb to trust a person after just meeting them, but she felt that Havok was intentionally acting harsh towards Glimpse. Sapphire she knew didn't trust anyone, so that wasn't surprising.

"Guys, trust her or don't trust her, it's your choice - but it's also your choice as to whether or not you give her a chance to earn that trust," she told Havok and Sapphire, more or less giving them a warning. At least Spark Plug was acting nice towards the visitor and she gave Spark Plug a nod, acknowledging her words.

Over by the kids, Negasonic took her phone away from her ear. Stretch hadn't picked up to answer her call. She glanced up at Moonwalker as he brought over the food, thinking for a few moments. "Your name - do you just really love Michael Jackson?" she asked him, actually making eye contact and not looking at her phone for once. It was a rare occasion. The kids were happily eating their way through the food that Moonwalker had carried over to them. Most of them seemed to have already adjusted to this new location - and given that they lived in a shelter, it wasn't surprising that they found the new surroundings easy to come around to.

Sunshine and Spirit Box

Location: the Warehouse (I7 -> F2 and G9 -> F2)
Skills: Mediumship

Sunshine paused for a moment, considering James' request. She did owe him a favor, but asking her to stop tormenting Tome was a big ask. Sure, there was definitely a psychological analysis explaining why she felt the need to lash out at the naive magical mutant, but she didn't care. All Sunshine knew was that she got a little spark of joy each time she shot her mouth off in Tome's direction. "...Fine," she then said, rolling her eyes. "I'll leave him alone, but the second we get back to the tunnels, I'm smacking him in the face with Fred," she explained. "Fred's the rat."

"Maybe we should just get the new generators, we probably don't have much time before security shows up," Blink pointed out. They were pushing their luck as it was. However, Stretch was already going around grabbing the parts in the locations that James had managed to figure out. "Alright, let's go get those generators, think Stretch has grabbed most of the parts for repairs that were on this level. I don't think we should go down to the basement though, that would really be pushing our luck..."

"Come on, Lollipop, let's go get it," Casper said, motioning for the kid to hurry up and come on over to him. Ben was just sort of trailing along after him as Casper went over, trying to find where this generator was. He didn't really know what a generator looked like, so he essentially was just trying to find something heavy and fancy. Ben wasn't much help, just sort of doing the same process as Casper and shrugging slightly, before Ben decided to just perch on some shelves.

"Come on, Ben, help! Pull your weight!" Casper complained.

"I'm a ghost, I have no weight to pull," Ben pointed out.

"...Smart alec!" Casper criticized. Sunshine walked past him, dead rat in her hand, and she eventually managed to find the generator, pointing at it. "It's this one," she told Casper. Blink hurried on over to them, opening up a portal back to the Morlock tunnels. Together, Casper and Sunshine lifted the generator off of the shelf and put it through the portal. Blink then closed it.

"Generator is back at the tunnels," she announced. Sunshine was opening up the dead rat's mouth, trying to see how many teeth it had. "Tome, let's go and..." Blink started to stay, before she cursed under her breath. The doors opened up and in came three security guards, flashing their lights around.

"You're trespassing, put your hands up!" one of the guards snapped. They all had guns up as well and currently, they had only spotted James.

Present Day - The Castle: November 5th, 12,508 - 7:40 PM

Antoninje glanced at Amarantha, before pulling out some items from the pocket of his cloak. One of them looked like a simple rod with a button at the end. The rest were more or less glorified ear plugs made out of wax. "Induced paralysis will occur in those who hear this sound - the plugs are for your protection. Just press the button," he explained. He knew it wasn't exactly sensory deprivation, but it had been what he had come up with and he figured Amarantha would have a use for it.

"If you'd like, I can do a demonstration," he offered. He didn't mind not hiding this part of his life from Sylvi. She knew that he designed weapons and other items for Amarantha - and others. He waited to see what Amarantha's answer would be, figuring that they could get some member of the Palace Guard to serve as a volunteer and find an area away from civilians for him to show it off to her. He did need to get paid, as he had to pay his and Sylvi's rent after all. He then gave Sylvi a grin as she came over and kissed her. "I'm fine, how are you?" he asked.

Mona would feel something brush up against her mind, as if there was some sort of person with mind reading abilities nearby. Antonije looked at her, tilting his head slightly and frowning. He didn't really remember seeing her before, so he figured that she was one of Amarantha's friends. "Is she with you?" he asked Amarantha.

Inside of the Palace, Ahote would stumble upon Luna and Valda in the corridors. He would also notice that there seemed to be more individuals inside than he would anticipate - and servants he had never seen before. If he focuses on their auras, he'll be able to tell that they have murderous intent. They have abilities too. He will be able to tell that these creatures are the Children of the Night... Vampires.
The Witch Country: November 5th, 12,508 - 9:40 PM

Agatha selected her weapons from the table - twin torches. They were symbols of an ancient goddess of magic. While most had forgotten the old ways and traditions, Agatha knew better than to sweep those goddesses under the rug. She held Hecate as her patron. She lit the torches with Magyk, producing a purple Fyre that would not be extinguished by water or lack of air. "Age before beauty," Agatha quipped.

It took the old witch a moment, but Agatha was the Witch Queen for a reason - her Magyk was advanced and dangerous, even perhaps Darke as well. There was a blaze of blinding light that would force Fleur to close her eyes for a moment - if she didn't, she would be seeing spots for a few minutes - and once it resolved, there were thirteen Agathas, surrounding Fleur in a circle. Their voices all spoke in unison, with a strange distortion that would make it impossible to identify the real one.

"I hope you are prepared, child," the Agathas said, as they turned the twin torches in their hands on Fleur and shot fire at her.
Asgard: November 5th, 12,508 - 8:40 PM

The Palace Lounge...

Halley picked up on Cuyler's interest in this and she rolled her eyes disapprovingly. He seemed too keen on adventure and mythical fights, that he forgot that heroics rarely paid off. Those who put their lives on the line ended up dying a horrible death. Her siblings had been spared from that fate due to Nova's abilities and the fact that they were stronger than the average demigod, but she had met hundreds of demigods over the course of her lifetime. They rarely died of old age. "My mother performed a tracking ritual and believes that Loki was in the Isles of the Shining Sea - south of the Big Wild Land Over the Ocean," Halley explained.

"However he had doubtlessly moved from now..." She then nodded at Arnora, pulling a dagger from her belt and she handed it over to her. "This belonged to him, though he has not used it in some time," she explained. Halley didn't know much about Arnora's tracking, but she hoped that the scent had not gone cold, so to speak. She wanted to leave with them for Midgard before her father found out what she and her sisters were doing on the All-Mother's behalf. He was monstrous when he was angry. "We leave for Midgard as soon as you two are ready."

Myth and Bruce's Home...

Marya huffed slightly, not exactly satisfied with Myth's answer. Her brother was on a completely different planet than her and she wasn't exactly certain where on Asgard her twin was at the moment. Besides, the baby got all of Myth and Bruce's attention as far as Marya was concerned. It just wasn't fair - the baby was the last one to show up. Why did Halden get all the attention? "Π“Π»ΡƒΠΏΠ° Π±Π΅Π±Π°," Marya muttered. There was a gust of wind and Marya flipped a table over in frustration.

She didn't seem to be particularly calmed down by Bruce promising to take them to Earth to visit their brother. Marya was bored of Asgard and she reached out to her twin, poking her telepathically. "Π“Π΄Π΅ си?" Marya asked her sister. Twins seemed to have a telepathic link and that was certainly true in her case. The baby seemed to have calmed down and stopped crying, but there was a knock at the door. If someone went to go and answer it, Bruce's mother Runa would be standing outside, looking a bit worried.
