Leda nodded, remembering when she had first come to Camp Half-Blood. It hadn't been too long after she discovered her speed, being able to run so fast that she would dart across the surface of water like it was just pavement. She hadn't known what she was until a group of Empousai nearly killed her. She had blasted them with beams of light, and a satyr found her, explaining that she was a demigod. "It always is at first, but you get used to it," she told her with a smile. "But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy Capture the Flag tonight. Basically we split up by cabins and have a good match... People don't usually die playing, since killing isn't allowed, but you can get rather hurt..."
She imagined that whoever picked Hermes, the opposite team would pick the Iris Cabin. Hermes and Iris were the messengers of the gods, meaning that their kids were especially quick on their feet. It made them excellent scouts for Capture the Flag, as well as (to Leda's eternal frustration) messengers between groups if the teams decided to split up scouting parties to cover more territory. She then took a bite into her food, having been craving pizza earlier that day and she washed it down with some of the Dr. Pepper in her goblet. "Oh, almost forgot," Leda then got up, making a bit of a sacrifice to her mom before heading back on over. "You put a bit of your food there, sacrifice it usually to your parent, maybe say a little prayer if you like."
Watts ignored Belladonna's little barbed comment, locking up the lab and heading over to briefing after her. He quickly grabbed a coffee from the kitchen along the way, a bit addictive to the stuff but he didn't really keep coffee around in the lab. When he had first started working, one of his colleagues had accidentally gotten the compound in the coffee they had spent months working on. He didn't want to risk that happening. And if he somehow got coffee in his speed serum, well, that wouldn't do anything positive for him. He took a seat in the briefing room, noticing that the new recruits were quiet as he sipped his coffee. Apparently, murder was the topic of conversation at the moment and Watts sighed, shaking his head. Millennials.
However, the mood then lightened considerably as the CEO mentioned who they would be protecting at this party - some of the best minds the world had ever known. He glanced over at Andrew, a bit sympathetic for him - it was hard to be in the present of true genius, especially if your own mind was inferior. "This is going to be lovely," Watts mused. "I've been meaning to speak to Dr. Pym about a recent publication of his on quantum tunneling - it's very advanced and cutting edge, so I doubt anyone else in the room would understand it." Of course, talking to Tony Stark would also be a treat. His energy technology was going to change the world.
It has been a long and bumpy road, but we have officially been going strong for ONE YEAR! We've mastered the Framework and our abilities, we stopped von Bardas and Tinkerer from smuggling high tech weapons, and we crippled HYDRA's financial reserves and sent Luminous, the evil speedster, to the Raft. We've rescued our agents from the Quantum Realm and now, we just have to save the world from Ultron.
And let's not forget - our crossover arc, Civil War, is coming soon! Sure we might not be the most absolute of RPs, but hey, we've got an excellent ensemble cast, amazing original characters, and talented writers who make me excited each time I see a new post.
Walnut didn't believe at first that Kliment was Titian's real name. There was a good chance she could shout a random name for herself - style herself as Petunia Petalsworth - and it wouldn't be eliminated as a possibility. In the case of Amaranthine, of course, she had seen the woman perform before. She knew her identity for a fact. However, once Blush confirmed that Kliment's name was on the list, Walnut remembered her earlier thoughts, hoping that his name wasn't something along the lines of Bob. "Kliment" - whether real or imagined - was somehow even worse than that. Her opinion of the name certainly wasn't colored by any personal feelings. At Titian's accusation of her, saying that she had been messing with the chair and looking underneath it before Kindle's death, Walnut's eyes narrowed slightly. "If you truly believe the slander spewing from your mouth, then perhaps your own character should come into question, Mr. Titian - a truly better name than something as ludicrous as Kliment if you ask me."
"Yet you are correct - you are a big dumb lug, I will give you that." Her patience with him was growing thin. In fact, it had expired the second he had decided to side with Swamp and obscure the truth of the matter. Thankfully, Titian's speech did not appear to sway Blush, at least given by her words. She stared at Rave, feeling the slight pull but she did not make a move towards her. The woman wanted to stay here and not leave the room, that was fine. She definitely seemed to have gained an ally in Penance, given that Titian had commented on her and then Penance's rebuttal. Moss even seemed to not be swayed by Titian's speech. She tilted her head at the music coming in through the walls and she rolled her eyes in disgust. The lights started to flicker and Walnut similarly glanced up, wondering what exactly was going on. She took a breath as they were plunged into darkness.
With her vision not nearly as useful, the gas from the lamps gone, Walnut started to smell earth. She smiled slightly to herself. Someone in here would be able to restore the light, then. The noises though, they didn't make sense until she heard the door slam. Someone had left the room, then. There was a metal clang - was the knob broken off? With the knob out of commission and the door slammed, they'd have a hard time getting anywhere - of course maybe the door had just been broken down... "If someone here is able, would they provide a light?" Walnut called out into the darkness.
Virginia calmed ever so slightly, as logic kicked in and deductive reasoning told her that the Circus wouldn't have sent her that wolf. It hadn't been the exact same sort as the ones they had used during their shows - and the Circus adored animals. They wouldn't have done something so horrific as to flay one. Her instincts were telling her that the wolf was meant to lead her to the Circus, rather than being sent by them. Yet with the implicit threat it made on her brother's life, she was still worried... The Circus would protect James, she knew it. But now, she was beginning to wonder if whomever made the threat had wanted James to go there.
Her vision clouded for a moment and Virginia blinked slightly, assuming that it was just from all of the heightened emotions and that her body was ready for a good cry. "She is walking her new adventure now," she said softly, a sad smile on her face. She missed Mary dearly, yet she had no doubt that Mary was enjoying an afterlife filled with excitement and riches at the moment. However, the smile faded from her face as Bazhooli told her who he was in mourning for - Ludwig. She had not known him very long, but she had felt a kinship with the man. They could have become great friends one day. She nodded slightly. "... Thank you for telling me," she said softly. "I did not know him very long, but... He will be dearly missed. The Dark Mother will watch over him, I am sure."
Hearing that Millicent was so close by, Virginia was tempted to abandon everything and pursue her. But Millicent was with Elizaveta. She would be fine for now. Ludwig, however, needed this ritual to be performed. "I would be honored to assist you, Great Bazhooli," she told him. She then turned her attention to Ny, wondering how he was taking this news.

Maeve nodded, taking the ring from Lady Kirkpatrick. If they were going to send any correspondence back to her, either Colette would need to write it or they would need to find someone who could take a dictation from Maeve's words. She didn't really care for either option, as she imagined that the information would most likely be sensitive to Lady Kirkpatrick's interests. Of course, with either option she could send a message with a bit of coded and veiled information to it. Maeve's mind finally decided on that being the best option. A haze then appeared in front of Maeve's eyes and for a moment, she was worried she was about to go blind. It would end communicate between her and her daughter if that was the case.
"Aye, m'lady," Maeve confirmed, giving a slight curtsy to Lady Kirkpatrick. However, then Colette asked if a Soulless had done something - and given that Lady Kirkpatrick had rubbed her eyes, Maeve's sight was hazy, and now Colette was experiencing something as well? Her intuition told her that it was something terrible on the horizon. Though even knowing that - Lady Kirkpatrick wasn't dumb - she had told them to go and so they would. She headed outside and got into the carriage, letting the driver know to take them to Gretna Green as fast as possible. She then settled in and looked at Colette for a moment, before giving her a slight smile. "What is next for yer, if I may be so buld?" Maeve inquired.
New York Sanctum - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 7:40 P.M.
The Brilliant Minds - Left Side of the First Floor...
Banner nodded at Niah's train of thought, not finding any issues with the reasoning. It was more or less consistent with what he knew about quantum physics, though he remembered once Tony complaining and chucking a quantum physics book across the room because fuck it, quantum mechanics has more plot holes than a Disney cartoon! He smiled sadly at that thought. He missed his best friend. This could be a way to bring him back - to bring them all back.
Shuri couldn't think of any inconsistencies with the proposal either. Of course, there was a small problem. "We need to go to Wakanda and get more vibranium, to build the machine," Shuri explained, before giving Cass an estimation of how much they would need. They needed at least ten cubic meters, maybe more. The vibranium they had left in the Sanctum wasn't enough and it was used to make her suit - and of course, the Frisbee of Liberty (Cap's shield) was rolling around the Sanctum somewhere. "The three of us, we could go retrieve some," Shuri reasoned. They'd just need to ask Doctor Strange for a sling ring - or for him to be so kind as to transport them there and back personally. Of course, there was a risk they'd never came back if they left the Sanctum. Ultron had killed so many of their loved ones already.
"Alright, let's see what sort of device we can come up with and create," Susan Storm said, nodding her head with what Niah had said.
Bonnie thought for a moment, looking at Niah. "Which came first - the chicken or the egg?" she posed. "Or in our case... the apocalyptic crisis or the post card from the past? I think we're in a loop of sorts and that post card, it might be the key to getting out of it..." She thought back to what she remembered from her S.H.I.E.L.D. history, and she knew this was around the time that Dr. Pym left S.H.I.E.L.D. Sci-Tech had been trying to replicate the Pym Particle and weaponize it, causing the rift between Pym and his colleagues. "From what I'm thinking... the only way to succeed is to follow that post card's instructions - your future or really past self knows how this all ends and I imagine she would have warned us if it wouldn't fix things..."
Neither Banner, Shuri, Susan, or Bonnie had heard Strange's remarks about the Time Stone, as they had been too mentally focused already on this task - the conversation on the other side of the room with the other group was largely background noise at this point. Banner's head shot up at Roman's question. "The Time Stone... It's one of the Infinity Stones - one of those things that Loki used to unleash hell on New York," he explained, taking off his glasses and cleaning them on the end of his purple shirt. Even when he put them back on again, there were still smudges and he sighed, repeating the process and ultimately making it worse.
The Muscles Brigade - Right Side of the First Floor...
"He may be machine, but Ultron's ego is too big for him to see a pesky little virus as a threat," Scarlet Witch snapped, rolling her eyes slightly at them. When Maria asked if she could borrow her power, Wanda made a face - as if Maria had just offered to eat dog poop on live television and asked if Wanda would like to be included as well. "Tempting, but no. My gifts are mine alone."
Raynor nodded curtly at Tinley. He hoped the group dealing with traveling back in time managed to pull things off - but it was a dangerous thing, having hope. If it didn't work out and the world was stuck like this... then he would have just failed a second time to keep Sparky safe. Mr. Dibbles seemingly was too tired to really care as Goose sat down on top of him, and the little turtle closed his eyes, deciding he might as well try to get a nap or something.
Doctor Strange hesitated for a moment, before pulling what looked like a modified sling ring out of his pocket. "Clearly envision where you wish to go and trace a circle in front of you. I've attached a charm that enhances magic to the sling ring, so that way even... well, even you can use it," he quipped, a bit of an asshole but that was normal for him. He then made his way over to the brainiacs, knowing that they would have more questions for him about the Time Stone.
"Ready when you are, boss," Captain Marvel told Tinley with a nod. She never changed out of her combat attire. "I say the plan is we get in, punch the crap out of anyone there, and get back here." Her plans were more of the let's just kick ass variety. Spider-Gwen nodded in agreement. "Sounds good to me!"
Wanda sighed slightly. She had worked with the Brotherhood long enough to know that plans were essential. "The virus should be kept in their Research and Development Lab in the old X-Factor wing of Serval Industries. I do not know what sort of security is still there, but... Well, as Marvel said, we can kill anyone who stands in our way."
At Lauren's admission that their exact sort of scenario scared her, Gene snorted slightly. "Then this must be a really horrible vacation for you," she commented. She didn't see any noticeable traps or trip wires or anything of the likes around them, so it seemed to be safe enough to keep on moving. Her gut also told her that Belladonna was fine, probably just on a different level or something of the sort in these ruins. Belladonna's family never was the sort to just die easily - though Gene couldn't say the same for the Lord Major's family tree. She then glanced at the Lord Major, as he asked for them to hang back and try to figure out what had happened with Belladonna.
She was pretty certain that the Lord Major had a crush on Belladonna. "Alright, and how do you suggest we do that?" Gene asked him. "Jumping into the hole isn't going to help. I already did a bit of a test and it is deep. If you have a rope, we could lower someone down there to get a better look," she explained. Gene was on vacation and she didn't really want to take charge in this situation, but it seemed like she might as well have to at this rate. "Of course, what would you secure the rope to in order to lower someone down there? It isn't like this place is the most stable, so there's nowhere to hitch it that wouldn't risk another disaster on our hands." She huffed slightly. "If you'd like, I can do a reading to see if she's still alive - you'd be surprised how accurate tarot can be when you do it properly."
Meanwhile, Nora was examining the markings that Mahendra had pointed out to her. While she didn't understand their exact meaning, she was able to piece together a rough pattern from them - directions were being pointed to different points. It reminded her a bit of the maps that were pasted onto the walls of buildings, in order to help visitors locate the various offices and the like inside. She started to scratch down more and more notes on this, hoping to put together a map of sorts - or at least more of a guide as to their situation. "These markings are giving directions," Nora explained, looking at Mahendra for a moment.
"If I continue this process as we go... Perhaps I will be able to create a map of sorts, which would help us when we decide to leave this underground..." her voice fell silent for a moment, thinking on the Belladonna situation. Maybe they would be able to find her final resting place, using this guide. She didn't know if someone could have survived a fall like that. The Lord Major only survived thanks to his clothing getting caught, and she had seen how exhausted everyone was after trying to get him back up. While there was a chance that Belladonna was still alive, she felt that the probability of it was low. "... I don't know if she could have survived such a fall," she told the Lord Major quietly.

At Giouse's little putdown, Andromeda's head swiveled in his direction for a moment. She had half a mind to say the same exact thing back at him, next time he and Gilbert were out of their depth. After all, Giouse had been the one to suggest that they all get a good night's rest before going to deal with the impending apocalypse. Had they followed his advice, they all would have been dead - and Andromeda really did not want to die again for violating the laws of spacetime. Gilbert gave a bit more of an idea as to where exactly they were going - where Peter died. At least they had Bart with them, as Andromeda recalled he had some sort of healing ability.
She hesitated slightly as James asked her to fill him in later on where exactly she was from. Belladonna had told her that her ties to her past life, if she couldn't move on from it, could bring danger to everyone around her. "Alright," she then said, smiling a bit at him. "But I think we will need a lot of booze for that - and I am very interested in learning about where you're from." It wasn't that all of her memories of her time were bad - just enough of them were that having some alcohol would definitely help to take the edge off. Of course, she had to wonder if they would both be alive by the time they got some breathing room.
In terms of self defense... Andromeda's thoughts flickered towards her hands and the plague inducing touch they were capable of. She also could summon a bolt of lightning like Thor, she supposed, but she didn't have anything on her in the way of physical weapons. The entire thing with the Egyptian sun and heat was presenting a more concerning problem for her, though, due to her pale complexion. "Maybe it'll be late in the day when we arrive, so the sun is low," she said hopefully, before going through the portal with the others.
She found herself in an old fortress structure of sorts - thankfully indoors. The problem with the sun wasn't there for the moment. Her vision had cleared when she arrived, as the odd haze was gone... And then it was back again. Was it following them? Was it somehow... connected? "If you're on an attire run... I would very much appreciate something that keeps the sun off of my skin," she told Peter.

Frost International HQ - Downtown Washington D.C.:
Emma gave Requiem a sweet yet clandestine smile. "You flatter me, dear," she said, giving him a slight wink. She went back over to the elevator and used her credentials, overriding it and sending it back down to the first floor. A few annoyed employees reluctantly got off and realized they'd have to wait to use it. No one kept their job if they argued otherwise with Emma Frost. "Today truly has been a day for the unexpected, hasn't it boys?" Emma commented, entering in a passcode now on the inside of the elevator.
Once everyone was inside, the elevator went down, stopping eventually at a floor with no name. It was the secret sub-level dedicated to Hellfire Club activities. Shaw had also stored his sentinels here and ironically, he had been a major supplier of sentinels to O.M.E.N. back in its hay day. She stepped out of the elevator and gave them a slight smile. "Please take a look around."
It was a large and expansive room, filled with luxurious lounge furniture and advanced scientific apparatuses. There was a few prototype helmets of some sort on the couch at the moment, though their function was hard to guess from just looking at them. In the middle of the room, there were gigantic scuff marks on the ground, as if someone had moved something incredibly heavy and decided it was fine to just drag it along.
Sunshine and Spirit Box
Location: the Morlock Tunnels Skills: Mediumship
None of the Morlocks so far had explained to those in the Mutant Underground what was going on and Erg had to wonder a bit as to how these people had gotten this far in life. Leighton he knew had a life of privilege and wealth, so it was a bit understandable for her to just waltz through the portal without even explaining why she was coming through. "We have come across some mutants who wish for shelter and training - and to potentially contribute to your cause," Erg told the Underground Leader.
The leader had wild curly brown hair and sharp, perceptive eyes. "It's been a while. You're looking good, Erg," the woman said. She gave a slight nod. "We'll take them in." Colossus replied to Jack's wave with one of his own, a bit of a hopeful expression on his face. Maybe he'd give him a call later, see if there was anymore news about his sister.
"Thank you, Veil," Erg nodded, seemingly knowing this person. How did they know each other, though? Erg didn't seem like the type to affiliate with the Mutant Underground. And the leader - Veil - had thought that the Morlocks were just a myth, so how? "The others will come along in a few hours... Goodbye, Ice Queen," he explained, before Blink closed the tare in reality, the portal shutting.
Grimlock's voice whispered into James' mind about a second later, having heard his mental thoughts about her: Rude!
Casper grimaced slightly as James asked if he would go visit at the Underground. "Willingly waltz into another manifestation of my dad's ego? No way in hell," he muttered. The Mutant Underground and the X-Men, they were both creations of his father, the world's most powerful telepath and award winning douchebag of a father. He knew that the odds of running into his father at a Mutant Underground cell was next to nothing, but he didn't care. The place would feel like his dad could show up at any moment and that wasn't something he wanted to sign up for.
"But coffee? I can do coffee," Casper gave him a grin at that, his mind already moving off from the topic of his father. Erg and Blink went off to go talk amongst themselves, leaving Tome and James free to work on the generators. There didn't seem to be an option of going back to get more materials - which made sense, given that they had nearly burned down a warehouse last time and Blink had other things to attend to.
Sunshine was feeling hungry already, so she made her way back towards where all of the food was kept. She found a bunch of packages of instant ramen noodles and squinted at the text. She wasn't completely illiterate - she had gone to preschool and had done some state mandated schooling at juvi. The simple words and sentences, things she was already expecting to see, those she could handle just fine. But the more she stared at the instructions on this tiny pack of ramen noodles, the harder it got. The letters looked like they were rearranging themselves and she let out a huff of frustration.
"...Water..." Sunshine whispered to herself. She knew that packaged noodles needed to be heated up. She ripped open the packaging, grabbed a bowl, and then dunked the bowl into the container of hot water nearby. She then plopped the brick of noodles in the bowl and stared at the seasoning packet. Shaking it slightly, she was able to tell it was some sort of powder, so she shrugged and opened up the packet, dumping the seasoning on top of the brick of noodles that was floating in what really was lukewarm water.
She hadn't washed her hands either and there was a bit of rat fur on the food, which she carefully plucked off and then wiped off on her clothing.
Veil
Location: The Mutant Underground Main Area - Washington D.C. Station Skills: Leadership
Sunspot had calmed down slightly since Spark Plug asked if she was going to get burned, powering down and returning to normal. Negasonic had filled in Moonwalker on just how Cannonball was able to touch him - "Cannonball is a bomb, basically. It'd suck ass if he couldn't take a little flame," she had told him, while Erg and Veil had talked. "And it would be funny as shit!"
"Language, Negasonic!" Colossus had scolded nearly instantly.
Now, with the portal shut, Veil took a moment to assess their current situation. They needed to go and vet the information Glimpse had given to them, ensure that the others got a chance to vote on them going after the Hound program, and they had just taken in another mutant. Resources were low as it was but Veil wasn't going to turn away mutants who needed help, no matter who they were or what their powers were. Moonwalker was right though - the new girl, she had the same powers as Sapphire.
"Welcome to the Mutant Underground, Ice Queen," Veil said, mistaking the nickname Erg had called Leighton by for a moment to be her preferred codename of choice. "My name is Veil. You're welcome to stay here as long as you like - just let us know if there's any reason the police might be looking for you. We can also get you out of the state and send you up north to my native land, Canada, if you want to flee the country." She wanted to do right by this kid, but her mind was also going over what Glimpse had just told them - that Shaw had actively been wanting to meet with her. If people hadn't been suspicious of Glimpse before, then they would have all the more reason to not trust her now. Sapphire at least had started moving on to picking on Ice Queen and not Glimpse - which was a good sign, Veil hoped.
They'd need to do some rejigging as well of the plans. Erg had said that Ice Queen needed training - and there was an obvious candidate for helping her with those powers. They could take Ice Queen with them on the trip to gather information, but that would be a choice Sapphire and Ice Queen would have to agree on together. "Sapphire, I'd like for you to help Ice Queen here with training on her powers, if she wants that," Veil said, glancing over at her close friend. She shivered slightly from the drop in temperature. "And please don't raise the heating bill..."
Havok had his arms crossed slightly. He could practically smell the wealth on Ice Queen. He wouldn't have been all that surprised if she suddenly confessed an intimate connection to the Hellfire Club and mysterious information from Xavier as well. "Not to undermine the welcome wagon but... The others need to know what's going on," Havok pointed out.
Veil nodded in agreement. She turned to look at Negasonic, Cannonball, Sunspot, and Moonwalker now. "Glimpse here has information that Sebastian Shaw is hurting mutants - using them for an inhumane program of his - the Hound Program. Drugs them up and then makes them into weapons... We're taking a vote on whether or not to take him down. So far, everyone is in agreement."
"A chance to kill the dick who hurt Juliana? Sign me the fuck up," Sunspot chimed in, without hesitation.
"I'm in," Cannonball agreed, nodding his head.
Negasonic was playing on her phone again. "Not to be a joiner or anything, but sure, what the hell - sounds like fun."
The Small Wet Country Across the Sea: November 5th, 12,508 - 8:20 PM
The Queen's Room - the Palace, the Castle...
Valda's mother didn't seem too happy with her daughter's response. "Honestly, my dear, this is why there were riots when you took the throne! Appearances are critical. If people judge you as being strange or unusual, they may decide to assassinate you." Queen Meliscente pursed her lips slightly and didn't pay much attention to Ahote, deeming him not worthy of her time. She was a rather strict and formal Queen of the Castle back in her day, so it was understandable. "And vampires? That is what you have guards for! Your job is to stay here and be seen with dignity - not running around with strange men to and from danger! Tsk!"
Queen Meliscente then stared at Valda. "I should have made your sister Queen. What a disappointment my children have turned out to be."
The Keeper's Cottage - Draggen Island, the Marram Marshes...
Titan and Luna would find themselves in a cramped, circular cottage deep in the Marram Marshes. There is a staircase heading up to a second story, as well as to a basement. There aren't any signs that anyone has lived there recently, with dust covering a majority of the surfaces. The food stores have gone rotten and moldy, though there are some supplies for making potions and the like lying about. Perhaps a witch has lived here?
Luna would have faint memories of her mother mentioning something called the Queen's Way - a secret passageway that allowed her to visit the Keeper. Of course, Meliscente hadn't shared much information about it beyond that with Luna, claiming that she would tell her when the time was right. Sadly, Meliscente died before that could ever happen. There are some portraits on the walls here of distant ancestors of Luna's, including Queen Esmeralda - one of the nicer queens in Castle history.
Antonije, Myrus, and Violet
Location: the Palace Grounds (G10 -> I8, P7, 8L -> P7) Skills: Telepathy, Trivia Knowledge, Running Perception, ExtraOrdinary Magyk, Charms and Spells, Kinetic Energy Charging
You MUST specify where you are on this battle map each time. White text indicates a PC or claimed NPC. Blue text indicates a neutral/good NPC. Red text indicates an evil NPC (vampires in this case). Objects on this map are not necessarily to scale.
Note: -Oliver is the vampire that killed Mavis and initially attacked Myrus, and then bit Amarantha after Antonije tried to control it -Nyx is the second vampire to try to attack Myrus, only to get attacked by Sylvi -I'll be using the vampires names from now on, since they are now randomly generated and listed on the battle map!
Violet took in a breath, looking at the scared and frightened civilians. They were trembling in fear, no doubt from the strange yellow coloring to her eyes. Whether her perception failed her or not, Arya didn't see them as civilians at the moment. Any of them could have been infected, turned into more of those creatures. She couldn't risk allowing their plague to spread to the rest of the Castle - she had to defend this city. She heard Amarantha's cry about using Fyre to destroy these creatures. "Pure Fyre, Burn higher, Make a Pyre, A True BoneFyre," Violet chanted.
Fyre licked up from the ground around the feet of the civilians she targeted, with the poor victims serving as the kindling. She had Ignited them and there was no remorse in Violet's face as the civilians screamed. Whether or not any of them had been vampires, that would not be certain until the bones were examined. Violet then turned her back on the flames, glancing forward to see who needed her assistance next. She spotted Amarantha and her eyes narrowed slightly. Kill them all... Kill them... Cleanse the Castle with blood and Fyre... the voices whispered.
Antonije was having a hard time keeping a clear grip on the mental connection he had opened between himself and Sylvi. It was like her mind was changing rapidly, turning into something different and new. His heart was filled with rage and darkness as he instantly realized exactly what that must mean - the love of his life had become a vampire. He took a slight breath, his blood feeling ice cold and everything around him faded into background noise. "I failed you..." that was the only message Antonije was able to get through, before the connection broke off.
However, he wasn't going to just wallow in self pity. He darted forward towards Erasmus, the vampire that Lennox and Sylvi were dealing with. He didn't care what happened to Prince Myrus. The boy was a bonafide damsel in distress and not worth his time. Without his Fyre-Making Charm, he didn't have any decent weapons on him except for his mind. There were a few gears in his pocket and he pulled them out, putting his fingers through them in order to make makeshift brass knuckles. "ΠΠ° ΡΡ ΡΠ΅ Π·Π°ΡΠ΅Π±Π°Π²Π°ΡΠΈ!!!" he screamed, having no regard for his own safety.
He got in between Myrus and Lennox and the vampire, tackling the beast to the ground expertly. Antonije pulled back his fist and started to punch the creature repeatedly in the face, not even caring if he himself got bit at this point. Someone had to pay for this. And while it didn't even hurt the vampire, Antonije's hold on Erasmus kept him from getting up and attacking the others.
Prince Myrus took a deep breath and he nodded at Lennox. He started to focus and he rushed over to Erasmus and Antonije, trying to avoid getting hit by the mad mutant by accident, and the energy started to appear around Myrus' hands. He touched the vampire's clothing, charging it so that way it would become a bomb, and Prince Myrus then darted backwards. "You need to let go, he's about to explode!" Myrus shouted at Antonije.
Antonije didn't stop. He didn't seem to hear the prince.
Over at the burning table, Oliver chuckled slightly, impressed with Amarantha. "All will be revealed in time," he told her. "You needn't try to protect them anymore. They'll kill you for what you are. Your family will abandon you... And you'll only have us to turn to," he bragged. For Amarantha, the bloodlust would be increasing in intensity. She would be able to hear the heartbeats of those around her clearly and the noise would only make the hunger worse. For Sylvi, however, the pain in her mouth would spike as a pair of fangs shot out - and oh dear, her boyfriend's neck is looking like an excellent snack right now...
The Witch Country: November 5th, 12,508 - 10:20 PM
The people of the Witch Country more or less reacted with relative... nothingness to the news that Fleur had killed Agatha. No one had really liked Agatha and people didn't get too attached to the Witch Queen, due to the brutal process of succession. Some Witch Queens in the past had only been on the throne for a few days before someone came along and defeated them in combat. Regime changes were frequent, but the structure of their society never changed so it wasn't too much of a worry. The battle looming ahead? That did spark a few whispers in the crowd.
Inside the tent, Asha the Magykal remained standing. "If at any point I am covering too much information, please stop me," she asked Fleur. She didn't know how much Fleur knew about the power she possessed. Performing a mild trick of illusions, Asha conjured images of six stones in the air up above them. One of them was the Time Stone and another was the stone Asha wore around her neck.
"When life was breathed into the universe, six ΠΈΠ½ΡΠΈΠ½ΠΈΡΠΈ ΡΡΠΎΠ½Π΅Ρ were created, each of them representing a part of existence... Reality, Mind, Soul, Space, Time, and Power," Asha paused slightly. "You have the Time Stone, one of the more fragile ones... Its use threatens to tear apart the fabric of reality and existence. I Felt when it was used to kill Queen Meliscente and I Felt its use again now, leading me to you."
She paused again, wondering if Fleur would just dismiss this or not. "I am not here to take the stone from you," she began again. "I simply ask that you use it responsibly. We already have an issue with the Displaced - people and places and things brought through time by accident from the last user of the Time Stone... If you use it too often or on too large a scale... The universe could crumble, wiping all life out of existence in our world... Perhaps even in the multiverse itself."
Asgard: November 5th, 12,508 - 9:20 PM
"Prince Bruce," Heimdall greeted. Halley coughed slightly and looked at Heimdall, giving him a slight wink. "Pardon me - Prince Brucey," he corrected himself. There was a slight flash of light and Heimdall had a gold coin appear in his hands thanks to Halley, which he then pocketed. The fate of the universe was in their hands but that didn't mean she wasn't about to mess with her little brother. Nothing was going to keep her from doing that. "And Princess Myth," he said, giving a bow to the only full blooded Midgardian present.
"The current strategy is to travel to the Castle of the Small Wet Country Across the Sea, where Arnora was able to pinpoint Loki's whereabouts. Once there, Arnora may be able to get us a more precise location. Our orders are to retrieve the Tesseract as the primary objective - capturing Loki is a secondary one," Halley explained to her sister-in-law. "Remember, we shouldn't draw attention to ourselves. It isn't our place to meddle in Midgardian affairs," she then gave a pointed look towards her brother. He had done a bit more than meddle.
Once Halley finished giving instructions, Heimdall opened the Bifrost and they were transported via the rainbow bridge in a rushing, exhilarating beam of light. It was by far Halley's favorite way to travel. Once landed, they would find themselves in the courtyard outside of Wizard Tower.
