🌈 Leda Storm 🌈 and ✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

"And you're just guessing that we got the right ones going, then," Leda pointed out to Chiron. He didn't seem to be bothered by the situation or her argument. He didn't even really seem to get the point of it. Janelle's lack of training was a concern, but Leda's outburst was more due to a combination of teenage hormones and the fact that the prophecy could have been talking about completely different children of Athena, Apollo, and Hypnos. It annoyed her that Kristin and Zeke were going to be the ones off to save the world, when she viewed them (mostly Zeke) as incompetent at best. She shot a glare at Zeke, his inane reply annoying her to death.

"This isn't some childish game, Zeke," she snapped at him. "Get over your bullshit and realize that the entire world is at stake - and you just want to gamble it all on your own pride. I swear on the River Styx, you have to be the most insufferable person here!" She huffed. She usually didn't let Zeke get to her like that, but with the horrors about to be unleashed on the world she was on edge. It didn't help that she had to spend this quest in close quarters with her ex-girlfriend too. She didn't really calm down when Mary told her to just accept it as the way things were. Janelle similarly didn't seem to get her point. Leda was surrounded by idiots.

Rebecca sighed. She knew Leda knew better than to swear on the River Styx. And she knew that when Leda got in this hot-tempered mood, her pride would end up pushing and pushing her. There was very little point in trying to persuade her otherwise. She agreed with her that the choices of those going on the quest were arbitrary, but Rebecca also knew that her best chance at helping the world would be to set sail for Camp Jupiter as quickly as possible. "Right or wrong, even if the prophecy meant other children of those gods... We have to sail for Camp Jupiter now. None of us meet the description of the prophecy. If Rosie realizes the wrong ones were sent, she can sent the appropriate ones from those here at camp," Rebecca reasoned. Of course, this all assumed that the children in the prophecy had already been identified and were at camp.

She then looked at the child of Zeus. "If we do end up falling, hopefully you might be able to capture the winds and save us," Rebecca said. "If not, I might be able to provide a magical remedy." She could see if there was something in her grimoire that could be of help. Now was the time to leave at any rate. They could devise back up plans once they set sail.

The Training Room - Shaw Industries...

While Polaris was definitely the leader of the group, Sage was the one providing the mission details. "Their vessel should emerge along National Harbor with this course projection. You will want to use the Morlock tunnels to reach it. The streets are blocked off for the protest."

Polaris' eyes narrowed at the mention of the Morlock Tunnels, but she didn't say anything to tip her hand. "Got it," she replied to Sage. She carried a decent amount of knives on her at all times, making it easy for her to fight when it came to combat. "You got a map for us or are we relying on Siri?"

"Relaying the information to your mobile device now," Sage confirmed. A few seconds later, Polaris' phone beeped and she pulled it out, before nodding. It was a tracker and map combination, suspiciously looking as if it had been prepared weeks ago and not as a spur of the moment decision. As far as Polaris knew, the Morlocks had only been driven out of D.C. the day before - a decision she was not a fan of.

"Let's go, then," she told her team, heading out of the training room and to the elevator. Once inside, she pressed the button for the bottom floor, waiting for the others to join her.

Somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean...

"You act like I pay attention to what anyone fears. If I paid attention, I'd be worried if I were you, considering most of the time I tend to trap people within their nightmares, and that is the extent of me paying attention to fears. If I actually decided to pay attention to yours, then it would mean I would have at least tried more then once to keep you trapped in one. But since you don't seem to pay any attention to how anyone else works aside from yourself. You should also known how things work, and you can only depend on your self, are you really so naive to think that anyone truly has your back?" she said, though she did sound a little sad with the last words she spoke, almost as if she was referring to something else more than what happened to Jinx. Her voice was carrying down to where Jinx was, as Wanda continued to use her powers to enhance the speed of the ship.

"Twenty minutes out," Phoebe reported.

"Half the crew of the submarine were knocked unconscious," Sophie added.

"Keep on it, Jinx," Esme requested. "Sage has confirmed - a team will meet us at the rendezvous point."

The Dining Room - Mutant Underground Hideout...

Waverley's announcement instantly got Veil's attention. She snapped her head up, her eyes wide and it gave her a wild look thanks to her untamed hair. She had grown up at the Xavier's Institute and upon graduation, Professor X told her she didn't have the right attitude to be in the X-Men. But just as a student at the school, it was impossible to go without at least one encounter with the Brotherhood - and that meant Quicksilver. She knew that he had joined the team and as much as Veil believed in giving second chances to those who tried to earn them, she also was skeptical.

Quicksilver was Magneto's son. What if this was just an act? What if he was just a spy? And now, he was here, in their secret hideout? Xavier must have given him the location using Cerebro, as they had barely relocated here more than a few hours ago. Her mind was so frazzled that she barely processed the implications of the trackers before they were already destroyed, with Waverley thankfully misdirecting them beforehand. "Sapphire has a medical degree and James has a healing mutation, so I think those two have injuries covered," she told Glimpse diplomatically. Everyone had makeshift first aid experience from just surviving in her opinion, it didn't mean much.

"My gut tells me Sinister isn't as much a problem as the mutants themselves are," she then continued in a hushed voice. "Spark Plug - I need you here, watching them. If any of them get out of control... knock them unconscious, restrain them, and see if there's more of the medication we had to use for Magik on hand." She bit her lip, looking at a sobbing Nightcrawler speaking to a sympathetic and compassionate Colossus. Blink was hugging a small child, doing her best to take away their fear.

"I need to go see about Quicksilver and what Xavier wants - and where the hell is Sapphire?" Veil shook her head slightly, before heading into the entranceway.

Medical (Room 10, Second Floor) - Mutant Underground Hideout...

"You shouldn't waste your blood. There are starving children in Africa," Negasonic quipped dryly, standing in the doorway. Her eyes were a little bit red and misty, her mascara having smeared some as well. Her phone was still in her hand but she wasn't looking at it, staring intently at the injured parties (Sapphire and Havok).

"Do you think you could go one minute without a sarcastic comment?" Havok snapped hypocritically. "Go get the healing kid, James. Pronto."

"What's the magic word?"

"Now damn it!" Havok urged. Negasonic rolled her eyes and left the room, though Sunshine noticed that she was moving rather quickly. Negasonic seemed to care more for people here at the Mutant Underground than she let on, something Sunshine could understand. It was dangerous to get close to people, especially other mutants. They died all the time. They were hunted down like dogs. And then sometimes, they were just the worst like Max. If the world were ending and she had only one guess as to who was responsible, Max would be it.

And of course, since this is Sunshine's fantasy apocalypse trivia sweepstakes, she'd be right too.

"You could try cauterizing the wound," Magik mused, glancing over at Havok. "It would be painful, but it may be a better option than ice."

Sunshine raised an eyebrow. Magik was cool, in a sorta punk/Satanic way. She wanted to learn more about her and she also the inexplicable urge to get closer to her. The old Katy Perry song flickered through her mind and she turned bright red, averting her face from her fellow mutant as best as she could. She doubted Magik wore cherry chapstick anyways. She probably used something cool, like brimstone or solid blood. "Do you need us to get you anything?" Sunshine asked Sapphire awkwardly, her blush still prominent.

The Entranceway - Mutant Underground Hideout...

"Eh, who knows? There are so many superheroes around that it is hard to tell what names are and aren't taken," Pietro said with a shrug towards Waverly as she left the area. He decided based on what he was hearing from Casper, that it was probably better to ignore him for the moment. Hearing Cayden's words, he glanced over towards him. "Uh, no. Cause if you weren't just paying attention to what Waverly said I was sent to play messenger pigeon for Xavier. So sorry for dropping by unannounced or whatever."

Casper couldn't have been more delighted to hear what Jack offered him - a chance to escape. He couldn't recall the last time he had seen his father in person. Usually Xavier was a figure in his nightmares, typically some sort of stand in for the Devil. He once had dreamt that the founder of the X-Men had sold Casper to a zoo for an exhibit on the frightened, self loathing homo superior. What Casper would give to have had anyone else for a father...

"Yes please!" Casper exclaimed quickly. "Can James come too? He needs to take a shower - not that he doesn't smell wonderful but I don't think eau de Sinister is really working for him at the moment. It's just not vibing."

"Vibing?" Ben scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Slang is so weird... Can we go see a movie or something if we're heading out?"

"Ben wants to see a movie, too, so we should definitely do that," Casper added frantically, trying to think of more activities to take up even more time in order to avoid running into Professor X here. He especially didn't like the idea of his father messing around in his head, examining what progress (or lack thereof) he had made towards sobering up.

"A comedy - not action," Ben specified, as Veil entered the entranceway. She was silent for a moment, staring at Quicksilver like she really wasn't quite certain what to make of him. "So it's true then - you're with the X-Men," she began, only to nearly instantly be interrupted.

Negasonic had appeared at the top of the staircase. "James, Sapphire and Havok are bleeding to death and need you now!"

⚡John Watts⚡ and 🏹 Arthur Twist 🏹

Location: Smallville?
Skills: N/A
Watts clenched his tiny fist slightly, seeing that Evelyn chose to align herself with the brooding archer over him. She didn't even know the guy - and while Watts didn't feel romantically inclined towards her at the moment, he had considered the two of them to be friends. This was going to get all of them killed, he just knew it. If they refused to defend themselves, then they would be killed and made into an example probably. Their abductor would then just begin all of this again with someone else. The new girl was giggling and he tightened his fist, enraged. He had half a mind to pick someone up and throw them at the sentinel. "This is suicide," Watts snapped. Belladonna was going along with this too - why?!

Shockingly, Sapphire was the only reasonable one. "I am surrounded by BEEPing idiots," he muttered, kicking at the ground slightly. It was making him even angrier that he couldn't swear properly. He released stress in a number of ways, chief among them were cursing, throwing things, inventing things, and punching holes in the wall. Watts' baby face was set into a glare as Spiral appeared, beginning what Watts could only classify as a monologue. He wanted to punch her teeth out. Casey and Evelyn had questions for her, acting like she hadn't been an accomplice to all of this, like they hadn't been abducted and turned into babies, made to fight for entertainment. It was barbaric. "What the BEEP do you want us to do, you BEEP?"

Arthur sighed slightly. He didn't really care for the other man on the team - meaning Watts, as Andrew struck him as a genuine child in this situation. This place made him miss Krakoa almost. Spiral needed their help and from what it sounded, if they did what she asked, they'd get to escape and go home. He'd be able to track down anyone else affiliated with the Sisterhood and cross them off the list, continuing to avenge his father's murder. He didn't know what he'd do after that. His entire life was a mission of vengeance. "Spiral - how can we help?" Arthur asked her simply. He didn't move to pick up his bow.

If this was what they needed to do, then so be it. It was better to complete a task for her than to just play for the amusement of Mojo. It had a strong chance of them getting out of there alive before they were old and grey, too. He didn't know if the rest of the group would go along with what Spiral wanted - the speedster in particular struck Arthur as a bit of an ass - but it didn't matter. He'd complete the job with or without their help. He was used to working alone anyways.

🗡️ Megan Pendragon 🗡️

"Yes, I think... I think he knew my birth family," Megan answered her brother. She was pacing back and forth slightly as she talked, noting that the others had already pretty much left the area. She was glad to see them gone. They had been a bit disturbed, even accusing Megan of having some sort of hand in all of this. Besides, she didn't know them. And they didn't know her. The only thing that connected them was the entire matter of this letter - she lumped them in with Isabella. It was her and her brother against the world. She hadn't made up her mind on how she felt about the girl with the dog either. "Can you get to the park, Jackie?" Megan then asked.

"And please, keep this between us - I'd rather not experience an asylum against my own volition." Her eyes then snapped over to the cops as they approached. She really couldn't be cross with them, as she had been the one to call them. She tucked the card Merlin had given her away in her pocket. "I've got to dash," she apologized to Jack, ending the phone call as she walked towards the cop heading her way. "I'm afraid I didn't get a good look at them - there was an old man with some sort of... homemade explosive, I think, that caused the damage here," Megan explained with a grimace. "He vanished not too long after I called this in too."

The Corridor Near Compartment 6 -

"Yes, Princess," Ismelda told Madalyn, rolling her eyes. She purposefully ignored Elizabeth's words. Ismelda had contemplated calling her another slur, but had decided she didn't feel like getting into another fight with the trolley witch close by. Snape would have Elizabeth's head later anyways, Ismelda was certain of it. She headed back down the corridor until she neared the end of the train, slipping into compartment 27 where Merula was waiting.

Paige Atwell

Location: Compartment 13 -> Corridor
Magic: N/A

Out of the corner of her eye, Paige spied the trolley witch. She was servicing compartments 13,14,15, and 16 now. Her stomach grumbled approvingly and Paige got up from her seat, Hestia hissing slightly in annoyance. It wasn't that Hestia felt disturbed by Paige's movement - she just hadn't given her owner permission to get up quite yet. "Can you imagine if we showed up to the duel with an axe? How brilliant that'd be?" Paige asked Zelda, a wicked grin on her face. "I'll get you some chocolate frogs - you can owe me." There were going to be Hogsmeade Weekends after all - and Paige loved going to Honeydukes. Without that little sweet shop, she wouldn't last a month at Hogwarts.

She popped out into the corridor and swung on her heels slightly. "Can I get five chocolate frogs, three chocolate cauldrons, a bag of Bertie Bott's, and... two cones of no-melt ice cream?" Paige ordered. "Oh and three sugar quills, sorry." She had almost forgotten that she needed to get some candy to start fueling the stash in her dormitory. She reached into her pocket and took out some galleons. She had earned them this summer, helping her father with his work for Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

"There you are, dear," the trolley witch said, handing the small pile of sweets over to Paige in exchange for the money. "Don't eat it all at once, now," she added with a wink, before helping another customer. Andre had gone out of compartment 15 with a few others from his Exploding Snap tournament, buying some much needed provisions.

"Oh, wotcher Paige," Andre greeted. "Zelda around?"

"Yeah, she's with the cats," Paige then nodded her head towards their compartment. "You mind getting the door for me? Precious goods," she said with a bit of a laugh. Andre opened up the door and Paige went inside, dumping the candies down on her seat.

"Zelda, hey," Andre greeted her with a grin. "Will this be the year you finally let me style you?"

"Nothing," Crystal answered Tinley simply and unhelpfully. She then turned her attention to Cass, pain flashing across her face for a moment. "I'm afraid that won't be possible," she said. "You cannot have an audience with Black Bolt." Crystal did smile ever so slightly as Maria complimented her dog, Lockjaw. The dog nuzzled Crystal's hand and she scratched him behind the ears. However, her attention was soon caught once again by another cocoon, as the terrigen mists reacted with Matt's inhuman genetics.

"You better fucking hope no one got sick from that!" Raynor snapped at Oliver. Sparky had hidden her hands and with the suit on, no one would be able to tell she had been afflicted by M-Pox unless she volunteered the information herself. Tempest's own powers hadn't been able to cure Cass as far as he was aware - he was pretty certain she had tried by now - and while Raynor didn't want to tell the rest of his team, he was fairly certain there wasn't a cure for M-Pox. Anyone afflicted with it would be dead within the month. If they couldn't destroy the terrigen in the Earth's atmosphere, he had every intention of taking Sparky to another planet - maybe somewhere in Shi'ar space - where she'd be safe.

Bonnie carried Goose in her arms off of the quinjet. This more or less confirmed what she already knew - she wasn't inhuman. Everything special about her she had achieved through hard work and determination, through unchecked ambition. "You're inhuman, Oliver - and that was, quite frankly, a horrible thing you just did. You just recklessly endangered everyone on the team," she scolded. "There's no excuse for it and saying sorry isn't going to fix it either. Matt is in a cocoon and we don't know what sort of deformities he could be facing - and the mutants on our team might now develop M-Pox due to the high levels of terrigen mist in this atmosphere."

For once, Raynor had to agree with Bonnie. Sparky seemed to be fine, thank the gods. "So while we're waiting for Matt to hatch, why exactly is it that we can't see Black Bolt?" Raynor asked, not even caring if he sounded pushy or impatient here. He never liked watching Shakespearean dramas and diplomacy had always been more of his brother's area of expertise. "You all spread terrigen into our atmosphere, I think the very least you could do is give us a reason why. Flatscans or not, the Earth is inhabited with a developing civilization. Sure, they aren't advanced but they're still worthy of life. And if Asgard finds out what you did to one of their realms..." he added, snapping slightly.

Bonnie sighed slightly. She wasn't sure whether or not to be offended at Raynor's assessment of Earth's civilization. "Sorry for him, he's always like that... If there's someone else we could speak with, Princess Crystalia, that would be great. We're really just trying to understand what's going on," Bonnie said, trying her best to seem non-threatening. Crystal didn't look like she could have been older than twenty. With all of the destruction they had seen coming here, she had to imagine that Crystal was scared too - just hiding it under a mask of pretentious ego.

"You can't see Black Bolt because he's dead," Crystal huffed. "But fine, I'll take you to see Medusa. Just mind your flerken." The inhuman princess then turned her back on them, heading into what was still standing of the palace, her dog following her obediently.

Guin Stark

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 1)
Skills: Telepathy
You know if things with your sister and Vision don't work out, maybe she can rebound with Warlock? Guin teased Pietro gently. It was a pleasant surprise to see Warlock so eager to help them, even if Guin wasn't too thrilled at the idea of the Silver Surfer testing them with a fight. It reminded her a little too much of Danger Room sessions with Wolverine. She hadn't even known her body was able to be that sore until Logan put her through her paces. For a brief moment, she wondered what he was doing. He was probably off with the others, trying to draw out the herald - the very person they were about to face.

You are so nice to me Guina.

I love you! Guin replied. I love you more. She had to bite back a slight smile.

"Sooo fun fact, since the Silver Surfer is here, that means all the grown ups could just be chilling and sipping pina coladas outside - which is so unfair," Guin pointed out to the rest of the group. She was definitely going to make her father pay for a few dozen drinks after this. And maybe another crate of Twinkies for her fiancé. Maybe they could go to Vegas! Vegas was always fun, especially after trying to prevent the Earth from being eaten by a giant purple people eater.

She mentally slapped herself, trying to get her mind back on task. Despite the perilous circumstances around them, her ADHD was acting up. Guin wasn't sure if that was an improvement or not from how moody she had been during the entire Mesmero affair. "Alright, we're coming," she called out to Warlock, taking Pietro's hand and she headed off after him. She really hoped that the Silver Surfer's test wouldn't involve one of them getting seriously injured or worse, but from what she had been told... She tried to shake those thoughts off. She needed to focus.

Neil Spellman

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: N/A
Neil hadn't known that Mira could do that either. Despite all of the time at the mansion they spent training, he had only ever really seen Mira use her voice as a weapon. He hadn't seen it as makeshift sonar before. It made him wonder for a brief second if there were some non-violent uses of his own mutation that he hadn't considered yet. After Mesmero controlled his mind, all Neil could really think of using his powers for was destruction. "Her aunt's the Phoenix," he boasted slightly to Iris. Sara came from an incredibly powerful lineage of mutants.

"I'm Neil, or Solstice, or whatever... I can destroy things with my mind..." he added quietly. It was the best description of his telekinesis, which tended to rip or pull things apart, and his minor combustion power. Mira's voice sounded horrible, but at least it seemed she had decided to stop fighting with Iris. He didn't know if that was because of what Sara said, though, or just because Mira's voice was worn out. As Mira opened the door and revealed another jungle environment, Neil quickly braced himself for more killer gorillas.

Instead, there were... tree ents? He relaxed slightly - the tree ents had always been the good guys. They helped battle Sarumon's forces. He knew that logically these aliens hadn't come from the pages of fantasy novels, that they were probably distinct beings and had their own culture, but he just saw tree ents when he looked at them. The way they were tilting their heads with curiosity at them reminded him a bit of kittens, too. He awkwardly raised his hand slowly and waved hello at them.

Washington D.C.: September 10th, 2020 - 2:15 PM

The Training Room - Shaw Industries...

"They're being pursued," Sage announced, her voice emotionless to everything going on. "I'd recommend leaving sooner rather than later if you wish to prevent them from being captured."

Polaris, however, had a lot more empathy and compassion for the new mutants. Leighton seemed particularly scared, which she could hardly blame her for. She wasn't a fool - she knew exactly what sort of person Magneto was. She hated her father, working with him purely for the betterment of mutants. Her time at the Mutant Underground had taught her that the only way mutants could survive would be if they had a land of their own, no matter the cost.

"Hey, kid..." Polaris began, not really certain what she was going to say. "If you're going to stick around here, you need to know that these people aren't your friends. They're dangerous. They aren't going to go easy on you and they aren't going to have your back. The only one you can trust here is yourself. If you can do that and you want to build Genosha, then stay - if not, you should leave while you still can. Before you know too much."

Somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean...

Jinx's ranting had broken Wanda's concentration for a moment, her eyes snapping open furiously. It was like seeing a snake right before the strike, venom coating their fangs. "You are so pathetic, especially considering now is not the time to be sitting there eating whatever food you've found. Honestly, you'd think that this was your first ever prison escape. Not to mention are you seriously freaking out over something at the Raft? This is why you never bring anything you don't want to lose on any sort of mission. That is literally the first thing you learn! And I'm all for revenge, but seriously grow up since you are not in any position to freaking go on a revenge spree!"

"If you two are going to fight, could you at least keep it down? Some of us are trying to pilot a submarine," Sophie snapped telepathically into everyone's minds.

"We have a problem," Esme's voice then interjected. "Submarine in pursuit. Jinx, if you wouldn't mind taking care of it..." she requested. The submarine they were on had a little gunner station of sorts, where Jinx would be able to aim and fire their weapons at the sub in pursuit. The telepaths had already confirmed it came from the Raft.

The Entranceway - Mutant Underground Hideout...

Pietro raised an eyebrow slightly at Waverly's clear disappointment, and it was clear that he was a bit annoyed with her obviously not being too happy that he was marrying Guin. However, his attention turned to the name she suggested, and he shook his head. "I might use Quicksilver again, just not right now since I'm trying to differentiate myself from what I did with the Brotherhood... Mercury actually is taken by another hero. A bit of an asshole know-it-all who works for Serval last I checked. I seriously don't like the guy, but thanks for trying with the suggestion at least."

Casper emerged into the room with James, supporting his fellow mutant. He stopped in his tracks once he saw Quicksilver casually lying on the couch, talking with Feedback. He had heard that Quicksilver wasn't with the Brotherhood anymore - he was a member of the X-Men. It made his blood run cold. He knew this place was affiliated with his father, but to see one of his father's current lackeys... "If Father sent you, you can go tell him to stick his shiny, cue ball of a head up his ass," he stammered.

"...Wow never thought I'd hear someone make a comment like that about him," Pietro said, not being able to help but laugh at Casper's comment. "I don't really care much for him either, especially since I get stuck being messenger pigeon."

He took a deep breath, trying to keep himself calm. He could see shapes flickering in his peripheral vision - hopefully not that horrid ghost from before that had attacked Ben. "What's the message? Is it him telling me that I'm a screw up? That I'm wasting my potential? Is he inviting me to another mausoleum because that worked out so fucking well the first time? Well he can go to hell - I'm pretty sure he's butt buddies with Satan anyways!" Casper snapped, getting a bit worked up.

"Calm down, dude. Quicksilver could snap your neck without you even being able to insult him first..." Ben pointed out.

"...Actually it was more of to tell Veil that he was coming by."

Casper's face instantly paled until he was whiter than a sheet. "...Wh-what?"

The Dining Room - Mutant Underground Hideout...

The rescued mutants were all more or less huddled in here, eating whatever food they could find. A majority of them were extremely malnourished, their bones plainly visible, making them look like poorly disguised skeletons. But despite their numbers, they were relatively quiet, sending nervous glances all over the room. Nightcrawler was lying on the table, curled up on his side as he muttered prayers under his breath quietly.

"Kurt? Can you hear me?" Colossus asked gently, heading over to his old friend. Blink had gone over to some of the younger escaped mutants, attempting to communicate with them as well, to figure out their names and if they had any family they could bring them back on home to. Negasonic was blinking her eyes rapidly, hiding tears from the awful, heartbreaking scene in front of them.

"I'm going to go find the rest of the losers," she said, before walking quickly out of the room.

Veil took a few more deep breaths, concentrating on her breathing. They had gotten through that mission - they had done the impossible. They had destroyed Sinister's lab and freed these mutants, yet the victory felt hollow somehow. Sinister would just start all of this again - she felt it deep in her soul. "Jack, I'm going with you to your office to check it for bugs. On our way back, we'll be buying ten pizzas and a few cases of beer with some of the money you found," Veil told him quietly. "Maybe some ice cream too, for the kids."

It wasn't particularly late in the day, but she was beat. She didn't have the energy to make calls about sending these mutants onward in the Underground, to see if Atlanta or Maryland could possibly take them. All she could think about was getting her people fed, hopefully enjoying a light buzz, and then sleeping for about a week straight. She certainly didn't want to report to Xavier what had happened just yet. "Moonwalker... Could you go make sure that James sees to the injured? Have him take those with grave injuries, the rest that can do a natural heal, ask Sapphire to see to."

Medical (Room 10, Second Floor) - Mutant Underground Hideout...

Sunshine fell out of Magik's portal, landing roughly on the hardwood floor. One of the pieces of wood near her was rotting and had she fallen just a few inches to the right, she might have ended up going through the floor and down into the main level of their hideout. "I still think we should have dumped the bitch in a volcano," she grumbled, angry at the thought of Lady Mastermind getting away with all of it in the Savage Land.

"Look, kid, we'll have time to be an edgelord later," Havok interjected. "Right now, we need to stop Sapphire from bleeding out. We'd be without an Elsa. And we can't have that happen, not when the Hellfire Club has a baby ice girl."

Magik furrowed her eyebrows, staring at Havok like he was speaking a foreign tongue. "What's an Elsa?" she asked him. Between her imprisonment in Limbo by Belasco as a child and her abduction by the Hellfire Club, she hadn't been able to watch the latest Disney movies.

They hardly had any medical supplies here, but Havok managed to find a roll of gauze. That hopefully would be enough until they could find James and have him work his magic on Sapphire. He shook his head slightly at Magik, doing his best to carefully patch up Sapphire without aggravating his own injuries. He didn't want to admit it, but it was probably for the best that one of their new members was a healer. "Just go look it up on YouTube," he told Magik dismissively.

"Don't do it, you'll get the songs stuck in your head," Sunshine warned her. She had grown up on the streets and spent time in juvi, yet even that hadn't been enough to protect her from Let It Go. She twitched her fingers, thinking about how they had let Sinister and Lady Mastermind live. She'd have to find a way to permanently kill Sinister. No one could really be immortal, she was certain of it. "...You're not dying, are you?" she then asked Sapphire suspiciously.

Bonnie Chase and Raynor Blake

Location: Quinjet -> Outside the Palace

"Shockingly, hearing you say that only makes me more worried," Bonnie pointed out to Cassandra. She wanted her best friend to stick around, to be there for the long haul. She wanted to eventually end up in the same nursing home as her, complaining about the other residents and their poor hygiene. Who else was going to stay up all night with her to watch the Nobel Prize ceremony? Or gamble on the outcome of the Bachelorette?

She peered at the dog for a moment. It had oddly glowing antenna from what she could tell. And the girl looked familiar, as if she had seen her in a file before somewhere but Bonnie couldn't quite place it. "I suppose there could be inhuman animals... There's so much about inhuman genetics that we just don't understand." Now where had she seen that girl before? There was barely any information about Attilan in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s files and there was even less about the Royal Family itself - not for a lack of trying.

"That is one pissed off inhuman," Raynor muttered, grabbing the suit and mask combo before handing it over to Sparky. They weren't going to kick off into the atmosphere any time soon. And so far, the diplomatic mission was going horribly - which was about what he expected. "Don't run out the door without this on, you're too cute for M-Pox," he teased her, even though he was deadly serious. Cassandra was already infected. They didn't need more teammates in peril. He also hoped that the suit might protect Sparky a little bit from the Weather Witch.

Bonnie jumped slightly as Goose bounded into her lap, before scratching the cat behind the ears. "Goose, diplomacy first, tentacles second," she whispered to the cat.

"Sullivan - what the hell?!" Raynor exclaimed, his eyes wide as Oliver depressurized the door and opened it, allowing the terrigen mists to flow into the quinjet. Hopefully all of the inhuman and mutant members were in the suits, otherwise they'd have M-Pox and the potentially deadly secondary terrigenesis to handle. He held out his hand and his dagger, Lyting, flew into it before Raynor rushed off of the quinjet.

"Stay back," the girl warned Raynor. "You can't disturb him." The dog growled at Raynor, as the Asgardian was about to try to carve Oliver out of the cocoon.

"...Fine," he replied curtly. The girl was clearly inhuman and seemingly unaffected by the mists - perhaps she had already gone through all the rounds of terrigenesis she was capable of? "Who the hell are you?"

"I should be asking you the same question, flatscan," the girl sniffed. "I am Princess Crystalia Amaquelin of Attilan. You had better explain yourself."

Raynor huffed slightly. "I'm not a flatscan. I'm Raynor, Baldur's son, grandson of Odin."

Crystal raised an eyebrow. "I don't care who you are. I care why you've come to our kingdom."

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈 and ✨ Rebecca Eventide ✨

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion
Skills: N/A

Leda supposed that it wasn't the absolute worst case scenario when it came to travel time - just a day or two to get across the country. She knew that planes were faster than that and that if it had just been her and her siblings, they might have been able to make it a little faster as well. But this was better than taking the bus and fighting off monsters in every major metropolitan area. And since they had two children of Zeus with them, the skies ought to be relatively safe to travel. She liked the idea of keeping the ship name as the Argo III - but then again, the Pegasus was pretty brilliant as well. A rather crude variation of the name popped into her mind and she had to stifle her laughter.

"The Pegasus - I like it," Rebecca agreed. She smiled slightly at Arthur's confusion with how the ship had gotten there. The answer seemed rather obvious to her - magic - but she supposed for the new demigods it was still rather confusing. They were still just learning the rules as to how this world operated. Yet hadn't they been rescued using flying chariots? "Why would Hestia be offended?" Rebecca then added, tilting her head at Demetri. "Do you mean Hephaestus?" she then asked. She didn't see a connection between the Goddess of the Hearth and the boat.

Leda laughed a little bit at Demetri's insult of Zeke. "Speak of the Devil..." she murmured, seeing Zeke come over. Echnida knew that they were heading to Camp Jupiter. Zeke's warnings felt anticlimatic to her. With everything going on, she hadn't expected the journey to be smooth. Sure, she was hoping Zeus would keep the skies clear for them since his kids were going to be on the ship, but demigods were scarcely lucky. "Wow, shocking, the bad guy is going to send bad guys after us," she scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Did you also dream that water is wet? Please, do go on, I'm dying to hear whatever pearls of wisdom you have for us all."

"Leda, he means well..." Rebecca told her softly.

"Does he? Anyone think it's a coincidence that Zeke is going off on this quest?" Leda posed. "No? Just me? Fine, I guess it's just a bloody coincidence that he's going off to save the world and the prophecy didn't even specify him. He just happened to be the loudest bloke from the Apollo Cabin. Same thing with Kristin. And no offense, but Janelle? She isn't ready for this. She just got here."

Rebecca sighed. Leda did have a bit of a point - the volunteering was a bit unusual when it came to quests. Zeke also had a terrible bedside manner, something that had gotten on her own nerves the day prior. Yet she had faith that there were multiple paths to the same destination - that they would be able to accomplish this. Going to Camp Jupiter to warn them of the coming threat was important, especially with the visions she had witnessed the day prior. The sooner they left, the better.
