Casper Theriot

Location: Mutant Underground: Outside the Glitter Factory
Skills: Mediumship
"What time is it?" Ben asked suddenly.

"Why the hell would I know? Do I look like my mutant power is turning into a watch?" Casper asked his companion, raising an eyebrow. The line to get in was really long and with the lack of fakes among his friends, their odds of getting past the bouncers wasn't really that great. Casper was swaying back and forth on his feet as he tried to think of a way to get on inside.

Ben, ever the astute person, noticed that most people in line were holding something - presents. "Casper, look!" Ben urged, waving a hand in front of Casper's face and pointing at the line. "See what they're all holding? And what time it is?"

"Not now, Ben, Jack is counting on me!" Casper snapped. He walked through Ben, Ben briefly flickering out of existence before coming back into focus, just behind Casper this time. "I'm pretty sure that there's a door around the back that if we do a secret knock on, we can get in! Now.... Does anyone here know the secret knock?" he asked.

"Casper, it's the middle of the fucking day! It's the afternoon! They're holding presents! The club is hosting a Secret Santa or a birthday party or something! They'll probably just let you in if you say you're friends of the host!"

Casper did a double take, looking at the line again. It was a line of good looking twinks for the most part. They were carrying presents with outrageously tasteful wrapping paper. "...Shit. Ben, stop distracting me, okay? You made me almost miss this. Huddle up fam, no strip club is this full at lunch time. And see the gayly wrapped presents? It's a birthday party in there. All we have to do is find out the name of the birthday boy and say we're friends. The kiddos can just claim to be their cousins or sisters or something, they'll just put an X on your hand and let you in even without a fake," Casper proudly announced. The line was moving pretty quickly too - Ben had been right (and Casper). The bouncers were really just letting anyone in.

"You're fucking unbelievable..." Ben groaned.

"Come on, the birthday boy is waiting for us!" Casper shouted, before running down the block and getting into the line. A few of the people at the end of the line looked at him, checking him out for a brief moment, before they got distracted by their phones or something.

Veil

Location: A Block from the Eisenhower Building - Parking Garage
Skills: Invisible Energy Manipulation
"I can't keep you invisible if you scout ahead," Veil explained to Kristina. "With how close we are to the White House, as much as I'd love to have you scout... I think it'd be dangerous. If anyone sees you, they'll assume you're a terrorist and they won't hesitate to kill you." She didn't need Kristina's death on her conscience. She already had Moonwalker's and Magik's to feel guilty over. "Also, we need to all use our mutant names. If our real names are picked up, they'll hunt us down like dogs after this and we'll be killed - or worse, thrown in a mutant super max."

Despite all of the tension and worry, Veil couldn't help but snort as Sapphire explained what the Hellfire Club was likely trying to do. She was also slightly tempted to just let them do it, to tell Sapphire to take them all to that club to help Jack find Max and Sunshine. "President Jakobsen hates mutants - he only stopped when the polls told him he'd gone too far," Veil said. She knew that he had been the former leader of OMEN, an organization that had captured and tortured Sapphire along with countless other mutants. Veil hadn't voted for him. She had wanted Sanders in office.

"Maybe we should let them do it," Havok suggested, speaking what Veil hadn't been willing to say.

"... No. We can't do that. For one, X gave us these cures in exchange for this service. For two, it isn't right. You can't forcibly experiment on people, no matter who they are or what they did," Veil decided. She peered out at the road and spotted a parking garage. "Saph, let's pull in there. We'll then walk the rest of the way. I'll keep us cloaked. If things go wrong, I want Glimpse and - new girl, what's your mutant name? - to get as many people as they can out, starting with the kids."

Sunshine

Location: Ronald Regan Airport
Skills: N/A
Sunshine never had gotten a chance to be picky about what food she ate really. She didn't even really know what her favorite sauce packet was. Whenever she went to a place that let them just take the packets, she would stuff her pockets full with them - it was better to eat ketchup than go hungry some nights. She grabbed her stuff from the tray Max had brought over, hesitating as she peered at the sauce packets, before she decided just to go with the ketchup for now. She folded down the bit at the top of the fry box and squirted the ketchup all over it. "...So Jack really did kidnap me then," she mumbled.

She didn't know what the next move was going to be. She'd never really been kidnapped before. She had been abandoned and locked up. She had always just... run away. Moved forward. Found the next thing. This was the first time that something like this had happened. Did she go back to the Mutant Underground? Was that what she was supposed to do? Jack was... her biological father. And he had kidnapped her. And she didn't know why. "... I don't know what to do next," she admitted to Max, before slurping up her milkshake.

๐ŸŒˆ Leda Storm ๐ŸŒˆ

Location: the Ship
Skills: Rainbow Manipulation

Leda couldn't help but giggle slightly as Demetri proclaimed his hatred of flying. It was as funny as one of her siblings declaring that they hated rainbows - or if one of the Athena kids detested math. "Why a snake?" she asked, a bit curious. She would have thought that an eagle or something would be better, since then he could just fly up onto the ship, but then again, he hated flying so maybe that was the reason. Eh, boys never made sense to her anyways.

She sighed slightly, hearing that the earliest they'd get to Camp Jupiter was that evening. She really wished that this ship could go a million times faster. "Yeah, Kiera and I can handle the Mum message," Leda volunteered. She didn't even know if any of the others, besides Mary maybe, would even have drachma on them for it. She pulled a drachma out of her pocket and made a small rainbow with one hand, before tossing the drachma into the beautiful light. "O Mum, goddess of the rainbow, accept my offering... Camp Jupiter, please."

โ˜€๏ธ Nancy Parker โ˜€๏ธ

Location: Mount Othrys -> New Rome: Senate House
Skills: Prophecy

Nancy's throat was feeling sore as Madalyne dragged her through the portal. Werewolf dust went into her mouth and Nancy spit it out in disgust, wiping heaps of it off of her face and knowing that her hair most likely looked like she had went rolling in sand while on their outing. She felt like she had just licked cat litter. "Ugh, that was so freaking grody..." she complained. She was snapped out of her self absorbed pity party by two things - the fact that they were in the Senate House with weapons, a huge no-no in New Rome, and that Madalyne had a nasty bite on her arm.

Even without Madalyne's reaction of horror towards the bite, Nancy knew it was bad news. Werewolf bites were infectious. Those they bit would turn into werewolves under a full moon. Waverley sang a song for Madalyne and the bite faded until it was a scar, but deep down, Nancy knew that wouldn't be enough. Her nostrils flared as she stared at the bite. "Marco, debrief them now," she snapped. She wasn't angry at him. Nancy didn't know who she was angry at. "If anyone looks at me, I'll have your head chopped off and put on a pike, got it?" she then added. She walked to a quiet corner of the room.

"Help me to see clearly, Father," she mumbled. She sat down cross legged and pulled out her deck of tarot cards, her hands shaking but she was determined. She had to know if Mads could be cured, if she could be saved. Nancy felt sick to her stomach and her ears were ringing. Her hands were still shaking like mad and her fingers were so cold, they were numb, as she shuffled the cards and focused on her question, attempting to shut out everything else in her mind. She felt compelled to draw a single card - the Moon, reversed and then the world went black. To onlookers, it would look like Nancy was having a seizure.

To her though, she was trapped inside of her own mind, witnessing a horrible vision. There was a wolf in the woods - Mads - attacking a group of campers. When the vision cleared, a tear fell down Nancy's cheek. That couldn't be all of it. There had to be... there had to be another path, another way. She stared at the Moon card, feeling like it was taunting her mercilessly.

Guin Stark

Location: Liberty Island
Skills: Perception, Investigation, Electronics and Computers
Guin shrugged slightly, not really minding that Mary had picked the spot for them to go search. It was a little bit nerve wracking, looking around for Loki - it was like blindly stumbling about, trying to trigger a fight with a boss, never knowing when the cut scene would start and the villain's monologue would begin. She smirked ever so slightly at Pietro's mental response, before turning her attention to her surroundings. Once they had made their way around, she used her suit's tech to start hacking into nearby cameras to try to speed up their search for the god of mischief.

"Got something, boss," F.R.I.D.A.Y. announced.

Her suit then displayed an image from one of the cameras in particular - it looked like Loki. He was somewhere over on the right side of the island with them, unless he had sent a bunch of illusions all over the place to throw them off. "Mare, think he's nearby - that or it's just a glorified hologram," Guin said, elbowing her friend lightly. "Want me to send out a mental pulse to everyone?" she then offered. It was one of the few things telepaths were good for - a rapid alert system.

Neil Spellman

Location: Liberty Island
Skills: Perception
Neil loved movies. They were in dark rooms where people couldn't stare at him and judge. It was also socially unacceptable for people to talk over the movie, walk in front of the screen, pause it, or any other number of annoying things people tended to do when they watched movies at the X-Mansion. "I'd love to see a movie," Neil couldn't help but admit. "We could see Jungle Cruise?" he suggested. He was super curious about that movie, mostly since it was heavily tied to a Disney theme park ride. The only other movie he could think of that was out in theaters was another minion thing, so there was no way he wanted to see that.

He walked inside the building after Annie and Carolina, peering around. He didn't really see Loki anywhere, and he let out a slight sigh of relief. He didn't want to be in the group that found Loki first. He'd much rather just have to run off towards the fight and get to join in once the heavy hitters had already gone. The Avengers and the Asgardians were the heavy hitters in his mind - the X-Men were okay, they had gotten lucky with the board game, he didn't want to test their luck again.

Still, they had barely even scratched the surface here - he could be somewhere further inside of the Statue of Liberty.
Runa turned bright red, seeing her cousin vanish, leaving glitter on the ground. "Erm, yes - Klara's... Klara. She's the goddess of love - well one of them, my father is actually the god of love for instance - so it goes with the territory," Runa explained. "She, erm, likely believes that... That you should court me." Runa turned away from Lance, trying to stop her heart from pounding so furiously that it felt like it was about to escape from her chest. The mortals had already picked three directions - left, forward, and right. There was really only one way left in Runa's opinion and she looked up. "How are you with heights?"

The young Asgardian shot herself up into the air with darkness, skyrocketing up higher and higher until she landed delicately on the torch. Her anxiety diminished slightly as there weren't any crowds up here. She peered down for a moment, curious to see if Lance would be able to use his powers to follow her - or if she would need to fetch him. She didn't stare down very long though, as she turned and saw that Loki was up there on the torch with her. "You're too weak to fight us, Uncle," Runa lied.

Megan Pendragon

Location: Camelot
Skills: N/A

"I know it wasn't necessary, brother of mine," Megan said, staring at Jack dead in the eyes. She knew that she didn't need to stab Isabella and rub salt in the wound. She didn't act out of necessity, she acted out of wanting retribution, revenge. It was plain and simple. Just because she had a magic sword now and supposedly royal heritage didn't mean Megan was going to let that change her. She was a medical examiner - she liked watching horror movies and fencing and drinking way too much coffee and staying up far too late. She followed Isabella with her eyes, smirking ever so slightly with satisfaction.

"I'm done, yes, as long as she is," Megan promised. She finished eating what food she wanted, before wiping at her eyes slightly, missing coffee for a brief moment. But she was still alert. It hadn't been her first time being deprived of caffeine when she had things to do and she doubted it would be the last. She stood up from the table, her hand on the sheath of her sword, and she walked outside after Hansel.

St. David's Hospital - Cardiff: 2:00 A.M.

"Half-Kree?" Oliver's father blurted, no longer able to hold back his questions. "What.... your mother's an alien now?" he asked, completely shocked. His head was bobbing around like a bobblehead, as he couldn't decide where to look. Oliver's mother had fallen asleep again, otherwise she likely would have been participating in the conversation as well.

"Yes, Half-Kree," Dr. Larson confirmed. "Don't worry. Most Kree don't have supernatural powers or abilities, although we are stronger and more durable than the average human. Your wife will live a normal life," she promised.

"Wha.... Powers...."

Niah's surgery came to completion. She was placed in a room to recover, with nurses monitoring her and ready to call a doctor to come once she woke up.

Ellis Island - New York: 9:00 P.M.

Folly pouted slightly, hearing that pretty much everyone didn't want her on this job. Insane or not, being excluded still hurt her feelings and it was probably for the best that she only had one knife at the moment, as its twin was still over by Jakobsen. "You're going to regret this," she muttered, before skipping on over to her other knife and retrieving it.

"Yeah, I am going to pilot, as I'm not giving the coordinates to this location to any of you," Hawkeye confirmed. He seemed a bit defensive over the entire matter, as if he didn't really want to take them to this safe house, but he had little choice in the matter. "That means no co-pilot either, sorry Reed. You'll all have to stay in the back of the ship, like I'm a goddamn Uber driver." Hawkeye didn't give anyone a chance to argue with him, before he boarded the quinjet and headed to the cockpit. The quinjet belonged to Iron Man, so it conveniently had a button that let Hawkeye put down a privacy barrier so no one could see him up front. The only downside was the privacy barrier was a stylized picture of Tony Stark.

"You can't co-pilot anyways," Bonnie agreed, looking at Cass. "Doctor's orders," she then added. "Come to the medical station, and we'll get you sorted - see if the Avengers have any spare eyes rolling around." She then sighed slightly, looking at Folly who was still missing one arm. "You as well, kid. I'll stitch that back on."

"Yippee!" Folly cheered, before running to medical. It wasn't too hard to find - it was across from the brig, where the captured Avengers were still unconscious. Agent 13, Falcon, and the Winter Soldier set about getting the chains and cells opened up, although they didn't try to wake the sleeping heroes. They needed to recover from their injuries, so rest was going to be the best medicine.

Bonnie made her way to medical and started looking through the supplies, setting Folly's detached arm down for a second. The girl didn't seem to be in any pain, so she decided to treat Cass first. "Hmm, damn. No eyeballs here, although there is an eyepatch," she said, setting that one out and getting it ready. Cass would just look like a pirate for a little while longer.

Asgard - Breidablik: 1:10 A.M.

Nadia left to go visit Freya, and before placing a kiss on his wife's cheek, Baldur left as well with Forseti in tow. It was just the Midgardians, Raynor, and Nanna left in the healing meadow of Baldur's hall. Raynor, of course, was still in the nude as no one had offered him any clothing - and the goddess of creation had left, so there was no quick fix to be had there. "I can fetch some robes - I will be but a moment," Nanna said, before leaving the room.

Amelia couldn't help but agree with Astrad - they really did need to get back to Earth and fast. If shapeshifting aliens were on the loose, she couldn't imagine what sort of chaos they could cause. She loved chaos - anything that got her adrenaline going through the roof was a victory in her book. Fighting off the skrulls? It'd be the most fun she had ever had in her life - and of course, it was for a good cause as well. There was nothing more noble than defending the entire planet. It was part of the reason she had joined SHIELD originally - she wanted to help the world, not just one nation.

Raynor's eyes narrowed. He didn't like that Thanos' goons had been the one to kill the skrull. He wanted to have done it himself. Had they not already gone through so much hell due to time travel, he would have been looking for a way to go back in time right that instant so he could kill the skrull with his own bear hands. However, Sparky offered a substitute - apparently one of the agents with her had the audacity to attack a pregnant woman????

He raised his hand and summoned a ball of light - much weaker than what he was really capable of doing, and it wasn't because he was showing restraint, it was just because he'd been in a coma near death for so long. He sent a small blast at Astrad, knocking Astrad over and sending him onto the ground. "Even think about hurting Sparks again and you'll wish you were never born," Raynor threatened.

There was a slight cough at the door as Nanna returned with some robes - best described as the sort a Jedi would have worn during the prequel trilogy of Star Wars. "There is to be no fighting within these halls," Nanna reminded him. Raynor lowered his head a little guiltily, like a child being scolded by their mother (which, to Raynor, was exactly what was happening there). "Sorry, Ma-Nanna."

"Here, these should fit you," Nanna then said, handing over the robes. Raynor slipped them on, looking a bit like a discount Obi-Wan Kenobi. "I have a ship ready to take you to Midgard outside - please do be careful with it, it has sentimental value."

"I call piloting it!" Amelia exclaimed, her eyes lit up with a bright and fierce intensity. She loved piloting any craft that she could get her hands on, but an Asgardian space ship? That was the Holy Grail of ships. She couldn't help but imagine how jealous her other pilot friends would be. It was already a big deal to get to fly in space using Earth tech, much less tech made by alien gods.

Casper Theriot

Location: Mutant Underground: Garage -> Outside the Glitter Factory
Skills: Mediumship
Casper wondered how easily they'd be able to stick together in a strip club. He hadn't been to one that wasn't filled with flashing lights, glitter cannons, and a layout designed to get people one on one with the in house talent. They weren't really group affairs, although he supposed it would be pretty awesome to rent out the place for a party. Maybe if his terrible dad tried sending him money again, he'd use it to rent out the place for the Underground. It'd be a neat solution for a birthday party for Waverley, as she had apparently forgotten her birthday. "Dear little Feedback, they don't card at this place. And if they did, almost everyone here carries fakes."

"Wait, you all do have some decent fakes, right?" Casper asked. He sort of assumed that everyone would, at least those who were under twenty one. There was no reason for them to use their real ID's at any point, as it would just give people a way to figure out where they were. Casper may have been a bit silly and insane, but he wasn't dumb. He knew the sort of life the Mutant Underground had to live.

He got into the car next to James, resting his head on James' shoulder and trying his best to look adorable. "You can't really run in a strip club, if that's what you mean," Casper started to explain.

"I can make a scene, if you need it," Ben offered.

"Look who decided to be helpful for once," Casper quipped. "Ben says he can toss people around if we need it." He raised an eyebrow as Echo said that they didn't want to be seen at the Glitter Factory. What was wrong with being in a male strip club? Casper didn't really care about the ~image~ factor and he didn't feel like he needed to be a representative of a model mutant. He was just a person and tons of humans went to strip clubs, way more than mutants anyways. "If we're worried about being seen as deviants, I think that ship has already sailed because of moi."

He pouted as Jack forbade drinking. The new kid apparently hacked into everything, including people's phones, which struck him as a huge invasion of privacy. Although, it was also funny to learn that Big Brother was actually a Big Sister. It wouldn't be too long until they'd arrive at the street the Glitter Factory was on. Luckily, they managed to get parking. There were people lined up halfway down the block waiting to get in, with the line moving slowly.

Veil

Location: On the Road to the Eisenhower Building
Skills: Invisible Energy Manipulation
"Trouble," Havok answered Kristina unhelpfully.

"Professor X's intel says that the Hellfire Club is doing something to routine vaccines sent to the White House - Tdap ones to be specific. X doesn't know what exactly they're going to do, but it's the Hellfire Club, so doubt it's anything good," Veil said, explaining what she knew to the team. "We need to get to the Eisenhower Building, find the White House Medical Unit room, and stop the Hellfire Club before it's too late. Best case scenario, we get there first and we can destroy the vaccines and all in there, just get rid of everything. Worst case... it'll be a fight."

"I think we ditch the car nearby, and move in as a group. I'll keep us invisible. We find that room and get the job done." She then bit her lip slightly, looking outside the window of the car as Sapphire sped them closer and closer to their destination. It was an unnerving plan and they didn't even properly understand the stakes involved. "Sapphire, you're our medical expert - any idea on what exactly the Hellfire Club might be doing? I'm thinking poisoning but... That seems too simple. Why use a vaccine for that? Why not tamper with the food?"

Sunshine

Location: Ronald Regan Airport
Skills: N/A
Sunshine felt incredibly motion sick as her feet landed in the airport. Her head was swimming and she closed her eyes, just trying to focus on her breathing. She had spent too much time on the streets to turn her nose up at food, even if she felt a little bit like upchucking. She opened her eyes again once she felt just a touch better, looking around at their surroundings more properly. She'd never been in a place like this before. It looked like a bus terminal, just indoors and shiny and clean. Sunshine squinted, struggling to read the time displayed on one of the boards - it was 12:40 PM. They'd been gone longer than she had thought. Had they lost time?

Her stomach grumbled again, thinking about food. She could see a few little stands - Dunkin Donuts stood out to her. But then, right next to it, she saw the golden arches - McDonalds. "Chicken nuggets, fries, and a vanilla shake," Sunshine requested. The doughnuts had reminded her of Jack and she didn't really want to think about him right now, as she was coming to grips with the fact that he had indeed kidnapped her.

Runa Johansson

Location: Nidavellir
Skills: N/A

Runa's face dimmed slightly with the revelation that Klara didn't know what she was saying. She really wished that she had a dictionary with her, or even better, Google Translate. There were just so many niche words being said that she couldn't quite translate within the context. Nadia thankfully came to the rescue - Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. That must have been the English name for the movie, it sounded right to her so Runa nodded. "Erm, I like exploring nature, especially at sunrise... And, um, reading fashion magazines," she admitted, her face turning a bit red as she figured Klara and Nadia probably weren't into fashion at all.

She didn't really have any suggestions on what to do, as Runa didn't even really understand why they were there in the first place. She didn't understand how travel between the realms worked, as everything seemed to have arbitrary rules. Thankfully, Nadia took charge, asking a dwarf for directions on how to get to their ultimate location - Niflheim, the realm of Hel. Her mind briefly flashed to the visions she had had shortly after she died, with the lines of dead and the gatekeeper. She shivered a bit at the idea of going there in person.

Guin Stark

Location: Liberty Island
Skills: N/A
Am I your favorite customer then? Guin asked with a slight smirk, amused by her husband's analogy of being a taxi service. There was one downside though to Pietro being on ferrying duty - it meant Guin was going to have to find someone else to partner up with. She had gotten so used to fighting side by side with him that it felt a little weird to think of someone else to work with, especially since there were already several natural groups formed. She considered briefly working with Iris, but maybe that wasn't the best call, as Guin could already be reckless enough on her own.

"Maybe let's not terrorize the people with fire - we don't need a repeat of Stanley in the Office with Dwight's fire drill," Guin recommended. It did, however, lead to one of her favorite episodes - where Dwight cut the face off of the CPR dummy and freaked out the instructor. She couldn't help but be a little miffed that the Office wasn't on Netflix anymore. It wasn't like she couldn't afford multiple streaming services, it was more of a principle thing. "Yo, Mare, wanna be buddies on this one?" Guin asked, flipping her suit's helmet down. She figured Lance would go with the Asgardians, and Carolina and Annie were partnering up as well.

Neil Spellman

Location: Liberty Island
Skills: N/A
Neil didn't really need to think about who he wanted to partner up with on this one. He was already standing next to Annie and Carolina, more or less forming a group of three with them. The thought of going after Loki did send a chill down his spine, especially since there were still so many civilians around and he didn't know how long it would take Bethany and Quicksilver to evacuate them all. Loki had so much magic on his side, he had been able to force the Asgardians to fight them, he couldn't help but feel afraid that Loki might do something even more malicious. He didn't want a repeat of Mesmero, where he had been forced to fight and injure his friends. "I'm in," he said to his friends.

They needed someone with some combat skills anyways. Carolina was really good when it came to astral stuff and Annie had some odd intuition thing going on, but neither of them could really fight. Annie had fireworks she could summon from her hands now, but Neil hadn't seen her really use them effectively yet. If Loki attacked them when they went looking, Neil was going to have to use his telekinesis to defend them, and he was comfortable with that. He'd die for his friends if they had to.

Runa glanced at Lance and blushed ever so slightly. "Lance, would you care to accompany me?" she asked him softly. She knew that if she didn't ask Lance, Klara would end up orchestrating events so they'd be paired together anyways. There was little use in fighting it.

๐ŸŒˆ Leda Storm ๐ŸŒˆ

Location: the Ship
Skills: N/A

"Story of my life," Leda murmured with amusement as Demetri asked if the ship could go faster. Leda was never satisfied with the standard travel speeds of demigods. They tended to be way too slow, moving at a rate that bored her and put her to sleep. It was one of the problems that came with the territory of being a child of Iris - some of the Hermes kids had the same thing. It also was why she related so strongly to her favorite superhero, the Flash - he knew what it was like to move in a world where everyone was standing still, spending an eternity waiting for someone to respond whereas to them, the response had been as fast as they could make it.

She kept a steady grip on Kiera, making sure that her new beau wasn't about to fall off of the ship and land in the junk yard. Leda didn't express it, but she was worried that someone on the ship may have to pay the price for them stealing from Hephaestus. The gods weren't exactly that fond of people just taking things from them, even if it were their own kids. She gripped onto the railing with her free hand, her pendant glowing an intense red as it reflected her focus and worries. The sudden lurch of the ship sent her and Kiera sprawling backwards and she caught a glimpse of Demetri going overboard - the bill comes due, then she thought sadly.

Leda was happy that she was wrong though - Demetri had clung to the side. "Someone's got Tyche on their side today," Leda observed.

โ˜€๏ธ Nancy Parker โ˜€๏ธ

Location: Mount Othrys
Skills: N/A

Nancy finished her seasonally inappropriate song, just in time to witness her best friend be a complete badass and summon a portal to the Senate. She wasn't sure what she had done to Waverley in order to make it happen, as magic wasn't really Nancy's area of expertise. She was just happy that they'd be able to flee the scene before Atlas could make his play to try and convince Terminus to hold up the sky for him - a choice that she still felt was odd, as she doubted Terminus would leave New Rome for anyone. A werewolf left a nasty gash on her arm and Nancy sucked in air rapidly through her teeth, her coping mechanism for the pain.

"Get through the portal now, I'll hold them off!" Nancy ordered. Emily, Marco, Niah, and Waverley needed to get through that portal and Mads probably couldn't keep it open forever. Her fellow praetor was already doing the heavy lifting - it was the least that Nancy could do, returning the favor. She pulled her twin imperial gold daggers, the bow that Diana had gifted her resting on her shoulder as she didn't know how to shoot one and wasn't about to learn on the job. She twirled the daggers before beginning her attack.

Megan Pendragon

Location: Camelot
Skills: N/A

Megan wrinkled her face in disgust at the idea of consuming alcohol this early in the morning. While she was an insomniac, that didn't mean she wanted to pound shots bright and early. Alcohol was firmly an evening beverage in her opinion - maybe it would be suitable for breakfast at a wedding or a graduation ceremony or a funeral, but those were the main exceptions she could think up. Oh, she supposed it would also be suitable for an early morning murder. "I'd rather drink rat poison this early," she commented, before leaving the room and heading down the staircase to the main part of the inn.

There was one other thing she didn't like first thing in the morning - Isabella. She was clearly obsessed with Jack and now she was accusing Megan of sleeping with her brother? That was disgusting. She forced a sweet smile and sat down next to Isabella for a brief moment. "Aren't you funny?" she asked, although it wasn't really a question. Megan put some eggs and toast on her plate, before picking up a fork and she turned to Isabella, stabbing her in the hand with the fork. She left it there. "Oops. I'm so dreadfully sorry, let me help you. I know an old remedy for easing pain in flesh wounds," Megan apologized. She roughly yanked the fork out, grabbed the salt shaker, and started vigorously adding salt to Isabella's wound.
