I am allowing up to two characters per person you don't have to play them and keep one as a backup in case one does die so thats an option if you want to go that route.

She looked at the teacher when he called for Vicky's name she looked at her for a moment, Stark was a pretty common last name. Though the Starks are pretty famous being Iron Man and all that though she wasn't really going to pry or make it a public scene if Vicky actually was related to Tony.
"Diana Smith?" The teacher called out as Diana turned her attention to the front again and raised her hand slightly. "I'm here." Diana called back to get his attention as he started to write down her name. After rollcall was done the teacher started to approach the dry erase board and started to write down some problems for the class to solve.

Madalyne grew up in the orphanage in Paragon City, she never knew who her actual parents were or where she came from. One of the caregivers found her as a baby in a basket at the front door, she didn't even have a name or anything. So the caregivers gave her the name Madalyne. As she grew up she was eventually adopted and raised by a loving family. They lived in Nighthaven District of Paragon City which is known for it's magic users. As she grew up her family taught Madalyne how to use magic which she was very good at.
Madalyne remained pretty quiet and keeps her grades up and is great in school and no one really has paid much attention to her. Recently the Void a new gang in the city started to sprout out around small parts of the city, her parents told her to stay as far away from them as possible which she has so far. Until one day The Void attacked her family and she quickly stepped in using her magic to protect her family they eventually fled and left her alone. Madalyne decided to help her district and has been becoming a smalltime hero in Paragon City. ________________________________________________________________________________________

Diana was born and raised in Paragon City, and is the current heir to Veridian Technologies, her mother Maria Smith is the current CEO of the company. Diana growing up could have just about anything in the world and had gone to private school in Paragon City Diana and her mother always did like going outdoors and they liked to go out bowhunting quiet a bit and Diana kept the hobby of archery ever since.
When she got to the age of sixteen Diana found out about her power and ability. She was on her way home from school one day, when someone tried to rob her when her power activated and she teleported in front of the would be robber. She found herself in Millennia Park. A few weeks later Diana was out with a few of her friends she was watching some people doing some parkour tricks on some nearby walls. She decided to give it a try and she was able to replicate it all perfectly and without breaking a sweat either. Knowing that the city was always in constant trouble Diana decided to do her part and started to help those who need it while on the side.
Diana being the heir to Veridian Technologies she knows that one day it'll end up going to her and takeover the company eventually. She decided that Diana wanted to change the company for the better, and wanted to steer the company away from weapons and instead helping people which has her mother's support. ________________________________________________________________________________________

Name: Troy Morrison Affiliation: The Defenders Appearance: Age: 40 Status: KIA Powers: Superhuman Strength, Durability Bio: Originally born in 1909 in New York City Troy was a poor street kid and grew up on the streets of New York, at the age of nineteen he was recruited into a special top secret military project that would end up giving him his powers of super human strength and endurance. He fought in most theaters of WWII before going missing over the frozen north of the arctic ocean on a mission to stop nazi U-Boats. His ship ended up getting destroyed and went down with the ship after saving everyone. Until the early 2000's where they found the ship and he was taken in by the Department of Superhuman Affairs and were able to bring him back. He eventually founded Paragon City's team The Defenders until he died defending the country from Lord Thunder's plans, and the team shortly fell apart and dispanded after his death.
Name: Annabelle Monroe. Affiliation: The Department of Superhuman Affairs Appearance: Age: 42 Status: Alive Powers: N/A Bio: Originally born in London the United Kingdom, Annabelle was raised by a loving family and lived a pretty normal life until she was around her late. When a group of powered individuals suddenly attacked her home, which resulted in the death of her family, she decided to dedicate her life to helping those and joined the international group known as the Department of Superhuman Affairs. She started out as a field agent before eventually becoming it's new director.
Name: Maria Smith Affiliation: Veridian Technologies Appearance: Age: 55 Status: Alive Powers: N/A Bio: Maria was born and raised in Paragon City, she was very smart growing up and knew how her way around technology, at the age of twenty she went into college and shortly after graduating she founded Veridian Technologies. She worked in the weapons industry for a very long time and even made a few patents such as Inhibitor Fields and Inhibitor Collars to keep powered individuals powers at bay which has been used internationally with those who have powers. She eventually got married and had her first and only child Diana and has made her the sole heir to the company when she passes away. She has given her daughter some power in the company and have gone into biotechnologies as well as clean energy technology as well to.
Name: Police Chief Sebastian Wallace Affiliation: Paragon City Police Department (PCPD) Appearance: Age: 49 Status: Alive Powers: N/A Bio: Sebastian was born and raised in Paragon City in Mapleview specifically, his family were lower class and always had a hard time getting by. As he got older he decided that he wanted to become a cop and entered the PCPD Police Academy shortly after finishing high school. As the years went by he slowly worked up the ranks of the police department and eventually became chief of police. When Captain Paragon passed away and the Defenders were disbanded that left him and his officers to fend off crime as best he can. During the last ten years the police department has become very corrupt, he however has been doing his best to keep the police together despite being severely shorthanded and overworked.
Name: Anthony Delgato Affiliation: The Delgato Crime Family Appearance: Age: 58 Status: Alive Powers:N/A Bio: Anthony was born and raised in Paragon City he has been the head of the Delgato Crime Family for the last thirty years now, and has amassed a lot of wealth and power through his little crime syndicate. He has been able to get away with his various crimes by paying off the various cops and lawyers to keep silent those who he deemed that he couldn't he would make them quickly disappear. He lost his eye five years ago when he encountered the vigilante known as Artemis. He has recently decided to amass even more power and is one of the current candidates for Mayor of Paragon City.
Name: Amara Affiliation: The Void Appearance: Age: Unknown Status: Alive Powers: Eldritch Magic Bio: Nothing much is known about her really, rumors though who have seen her face say that she is an otherworldly being with immense magical power and she is currently looking for something or someone. She quickly has gained a lot of followers and her followers are known in Nighthaven as the Void.
Name: Zachariah Livingston Affiliation: The Puritans Appearance: Age: 46 Status: Alive Powers: N/A Bio: Born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana Zacharia at a young age of eighteen became radicalized by the Puritans going as far as assaulting those who have superpowers. He eventually joined the domestic terrorist group, as the years went on he has led many attacks against those with powers. He eventually moved to Paragon City and started it's terror cell within the city and has been slowly gaining more and more followers in the city to their cause.
Name: Valentina Vega Affiliation: The 70th Street Gang Appearance: Age: 35 Status: Alive Powers: Inhuman Accuracy Bio: Also born and raised in Paragon City, she is a Mapleview native and has lived on the streets of this district not knowing who her parents were. She was taken in by the 70th Street Gang, as she grew older Valentina slowly became very well liked among the gang and worked up the ranks until she became it's current leader after a turf battle with the Blue Dragons. She treats her gang like family and they all respect her as well to.
Name: Xiao Feng Affiliation: The Blue Dragons Appearance: Age: 40 Status: Alive Powers: Enhanced Condition Bio: Born and raised in China Xiao comes from a lower class family his family were martial artists and was also taught discipline and, however for a better life they moved to Paragon City and he settled in with his family in Little Asia. He found out about his powers shortly after moving to the US after a fight with a 70th Street Gang member resulting in his death. Which made the gang retaliate against him. Which resulted in the death of his family. The Leader of the Blue Dragons at the time saw him and took him in and raised him as his own, he learned further from them and the honor and discipline that they give as well to. He eventually became leader of the gang after another fight against the 70th Street Gang since taking over the Blue Dragons he is very well respected among his members.

Premise:
Paragon City originally got it's name from it's first hero Captain Paragon, after the second World War, he formed a team called The Defenders. They have since protected the city from various threats around the city, as well as the world. Since then the city has been known for it's super heroes, vigilantes and super villains, the team's roster has grown and shrunk over the years.
In 2050 the city was hit with tragedy, a super villain who went by the name Lord Thunder who had the power to manipulate weather. He created a massive storm that threatened to destroy the US, the Defenders were able to defeat Lord Thunder however at the cost of three of it's members including it's oldest and greatest defender Captain Paragon.
Since then the team has disbanded and their headquarters has long since been abandoned the members of the Defenders have gone silent. Now crime has suddenly started to skyrocket and violence across the city, it is now up to a new group of heroes to step up and defend the city. Or new villains to further bring the city down to it's knees.
Average Humans: You don't have powers, however you use your skills and knowledge and of your surroundings and weapons to help you.
Techies: You don't have powers in a manner of speaking, but you use tech and your mind to build new inventions to fight or cause crime.
Evolved Humans: You got your powers through evolution, people mainly call these people Evos. (Basically this universe's version of mutants from Marvel.)
Enhanced Humans: You willingly went through a procedure that gave you your powers, or you ended up getting into an accident where you gained powers.
Demigods: You are a son or daughter of a god from mythology, you have one of their abilities as well as enhanced strength. Though the gods never mettle in mortal affairs. (Basically this universe's version of Thor and so on. Only real world mythologies norse, egyptian, greek, roman. etc)
Mystics: You get your powers through the practice of the arcane and mystic arts. Or you gain your powers through a mystic artifact, or a deal with an other worldly being.
Supernaturals: You are a creature of the night, be it vampire or werewolf or something else and your powers come from the abilities of whatever supernatural creature that you are.
Extraterrestrials: You are an alien from another planet and come to Earth and observe the humans. You have powers that come naturally with your alien race.
Archetypes:
Hero: You are a defender of Paragon City, and have a strong moral sense to protect the innocent.
Villain: You want to see the city and world burn you don't care who gets in the way and you want to rule the world.
Vigilante: You think that local law enforcement and the justice system is weak and you want to take the law into your own hands.
Paragon City Map, Important Locations, Gangs & Organizations:
Paragon City: The city is located in Florida's East Coast, the city originally was once called Nighthaven up until the Second World War, the city was renamed after it's defender and first known hero by the name of Captain Paragon. Since then the city has been known for it's super heroes, who have moved on and made homes in other parts of the world. The city nearly rivals New York City in terms of population and financial power to. The city's main team is The Defenders, up until recently they protected the city. However the team has disbanded and their former HQ vacated and open for new heroes to take up residents since the team's disbandment the city's crime rate has skyrocketed.
Nighthaven: It is the oldest part of the city and is home to most of the cities magic users and is also the home to the Mystics Sanctum. Also Veridian Technologies HQ is located in this district as well to, a gang called The Void also operates primarily here.
The Financial District: It is the beating heart of the city, most of the cities major banks are located here and major businesses as well operate here. The Delgato Crime Family's HQ is also located here and own many of the major businesses in the area.
Greyport: Greyport is the primary place where the city gets its imported goods across the world come in and out of this port and also where most of the factories are located in this district. It is also home to Paragon City's International Airport the Delgato Family also owns the port and this is where most of the drugs come through and into the city.
Riverside: Riverside is where most of the middle class of the city live it is home to Paragon City's Academy for Powered Youth goes to. There are also normal schools throughout this district as well to the Delgato's own a few small businesses in this district as well to a lesser extent. This district is also home to Paragon City's team The Defender's HQ is located, along with City Hall, Paragon City's History Museum and the Department of Super Human Affair's HQ.
Halcyon Heights: It is where the city's rich, wealthy, powerful and well connected live in, this part of the city is very beautiful and has access to the beaches. All of the high end restaurants are located here as well to. The Puritan gang secretly operates out of this district.
Mapelview: This is the poorest and downtrodden and homeless live in, this part of the city is riddled with skyrocketing crime. This district is home to Abadon Memorial Hospital, Paragon City's Police and Fire Department are also here. This district is home to the 70th Street Gang.
Little Asia: The smallest of the districts within the city, it is home to the city's Asian culture and cuisine. The Blue Dragon gang operates out of this district as well to.
Tartarus Supermax Prison: Locally it also goes by the name The Pit tt is Paragon City's prison it keeps all of the city's criminals and powered villains in. The top floors of the prison is where the prison's general population stays. However below the surface of the prison is where the city's most dangerous and powered villains go to. If a prison riot where to happen below ground the Warden can flood the lower levels if need be.
Millennia Park: A very beautiful park in the heart of the city, with various places to walk, and even swim in the ponds. A lot of the cities events are played here from concerts to political rallies, protest, gatherings, marathons and anything in between to. The park has a few shops along with a number of gazebos overlooking the various ponds of the lake it is the most peaceful location in the city.
La'moi Swamp: Located just outside of the city on the eastside of Nighthaven is all swamp, where the Delgato Crime Family makes their victims disappear.
The Defenders: The city's long time defenders, however the team has long since been disbanded their HQ still stands ready for anyone to reform the team. They have a long history of defending the city and world from it's various threats. Current leader is none and HQ is currently vacant.
The Department of Superhuman Affairs: It is the worlds largest organization and helps coordinate with the world's various super heroes and government against threats from villains and otherworldly threats that seek to destroy the world. Their HQ is in Paragon City and the current Director is Annabelle Monroe.
Veridian Technologies: Veridian Technologies used to be a weapons manufacturer with thousands of military contracts around the world. However in the last five years the company has stopped creating weapons and has switched to biotechnology as well as clean energy initiatives. The sudden change was made by the current CEO of Veridian Maria Smith.
The Mystic's Sanctum: One of the Paragon City's mysterious organizations not much is known about them. However they protect the city from otherworldly and supernatural threats that threaten to harm the city. Current leader is a mystery.
The Delgato Crime Family: It is the largest crime family in the city and have their hands in just about everything in the city even the mayor's office. They do anything from money laundering, racketeering, even murder. They are very good at getting away with most of their crimes, they have been known to make people such as news reporters, police and political figures to 'disappear' for good. The current head of the family is Anthony Delgato.
The Void: They are a relatively new gang in the city and not much is really known about them, they are known for being mainly magic users and are known for ritualistic killings. Their current leader is a woman that goes by the name of Amara.
The Puritans: They are a known domestic terrorist organization and have many chapters throughout the US, they deem anyone with powers or magic to be heretics and will go out of their way to attack anyone with powers. They don't care about collateral damage either. The current Chapter Head of Paragon City is Zachariah Livingston.
The 70th Street Gang: This gang operates out of Mapelview and they dabble in just about any crime from racketeering, vandalism, bank robbery, drug trafficking and murder. They have a rivalry for territory with The Blue Dragons. The current leader of the 70th Street Gang is Valentina Vega.
The Blue Dragons: They are the smallest gang and with the smallest territory, they are known for drug and human trafficking racketeering as well as murder they have a major rivalry with the 70th Street Gang. The current leader of the gang is Xiao Feng.

Change the color code to a unique one (i.e. not in use by a current character). Please try to avoid colors that are very similar to the eye as well.
Choose a faceclaim or a realistic representation of your character that is not currently in use - if you're not sure if someone is using that FC, ask the GM. Faceclaims must be real life images, or realistic art - No anime or cartoon like character images.

No use of racial slurs in posts. Sure, you may be playing a racist white guy from the 1950s, so just use asterisks - you'll convey the same idea.
No nudity in the guild at all it's against the rules and none wants to see your character's dangly bits and other parts in general, this is PG-13 when it comes to romance, sexual interactions, exposure, and so forth... Violence wise, anything goes. This can get gross.
Fade to black for things that verge into the area of smut/other taboo subjects. Seriously. Your post will be deleted otherwise.
The world and NPCs and events are controlled by the GM. If the GM says it's raining, then it's raining. Results will be randomized per dice mechanics.
Posting & General Behavior
Follow all of the rules of the forum - they're the law of the land.
You must post once every 7 days - once your last post on RPG reads as 10 days ago you will be removed from the RP. A hard no on an extension request if you are waiting to the last minute unless it's something out of your control. The GM will work with you if you cannot post at least in 7 days. DO NOT ABUSE IT!
You may NOT copy and paste something from someone else's post and add it to your own. This includes dialogue.

No tagging for interactions in your post - people use this as a crutch usually to get away with not reading everything.

Character deaths will happen, no one is safe - it will be randomized and you will be notified when your death approaches. (This does not mean you are out of the RP, it will mean however you need to make a new character should you wish to continue - I recommend having Back Up Characters Ready)
