    Tim, as the Robin that came after Jason Todd, received an extensive training regiment at the hands of multiple teachers to ensure that what destroyed his predecessor would not affect him. Bruce wanted to make sure that his protégé would be able to hold himself up in combat and successfully defend himself, leading to him traveling to Paris to train under Rahul Lama, a martial arts master. From here, he would eventually move on to Lady Shiva, whom he managed to beat in a sparring battle with the bo staff, which became his signature weapon. Under his trainers, Tim has accumulated a proficient skill in hand to hand combat and melee weapons, using the accumulated knowledge in a non-lethal way to assist himself as Robin. On top of his developed skill, Tim has earned (through vigorous workout sessions) some muscle definition, and while he doesn't match up to super strength, he is certainly able to defend himself. Additionally, he can withstand extended periods of physical activity due to his agility.

    Not everything needed to be ingrained into him, however; Tim is nothing less than a natural genius. He is an exceptional detective, having deduced the identities of both Bruce and Dick when he was just a young boy after watching Dick as Robin perform a move he saw him doing in the circus. Batman himself said that Tim has the potential to become a better detective than him.

    His high level of intelligence makes Tim a natural student and self-taught practitioner of many disciplines. He has studied computer science and is a highly skilled programmer and hacker. He has an in-depth knowledge of the natural sciences, which he puts to use in the crime lab. He has studied the behavioral sciences, specifically criminology, and is very well-read and literate.

Bio:
Jack Drake was the heir to the newly Fortune 500 company Drake Industries, and a well-respected archeologist and businessman both when he met fellow archeologist and historian Janet Draper, a fiercely beautiful – and fiercely intelligent – woman at an opening at the Archaeological Museum of Iraklion in Crete, Greece. The romance that followed was like something out of a modern day fairy tale, full of exotic locales, intriguing mysteries, royalty both modern and historical, grand parties, opulence, and, after three years of dating, an absolutely gorgeous wedding.

After their honeymoon tour of Europe, the newlyweds returned to Janet's home town, Gotham City and purchased an estate in the outskirts to build their dream home on. Their timing was good - just a few months after their new home’s completion, Jack and Janet had their first and only son: Timothy Jackson Drake.

Tim’s youngest years were spent mostly with a succession of nannies, as his parents had a habit of firing the last every time they returned home from their trips in order to look after him themselves. But, more absorbed in their work, both business and archeological, and each other than they were interested in Tim, Jack and Janet were rarely home for more than a total four or five months over an entire year, stopping home only for weeks or days at a time between trips. Even when they were home, their attention was largely occupied by something they deemed a higher priority. As the quality of the nannies hired tended to vary – Janet sometimes forgot to hire someone until the last minute, and didn’t have time to be choosy – Tim learned fast to look after himself as much as possible. He also learned to savor the time and attention his parents actually afforded him.

It was during one such instance that Jack and Janet brought a six year old Tim to see Haly’s Circus. It was there that the young and impressionable child met Dick Grayson, a member of the prestigious acrobatic group, The Flying Graysons. In hopes of calming his nerves, Tim was even granted a picture before the show. During the performance, however, tragedy struck as he witnessed the death of both Mary and John Grayson at the hands of an assumed system of faulty high wire.

Witnessing tragedy caused Tim to become more stoic in his emotional appearance, leading to a slightly disconnected relationship with his parents. Through this, many childlike traits dispersed into nothingness, and he gained a keen sense of observation.

Said skill would prove to come in handy in upcoming years. Tim was nine when he successfully deducted that Dick Grayson was Robin after witnessing him perform a move that only someone from The Flying Graysons would be able to complete, thus meaning that his adoptive figure, Bruce Wayne, was Batman. It was after this that Tim followed the pair closely, even though the eventual transition from Robin to Nightwing for Dick and Jason Todd’s accumulation of the position.

It was a while after the tragic death of Jason Todd that Tim realized Batman needed a Robin (due to the sudden reckless and aggressive that Batman portrayed, which defying traditional character traits), and concluded after Nightwing refused to take up the position that he would be an adequate fit. Both were not initially on board, however. It was not until after Bruce and Dick had been kidnapped and Tim, with the help of Alfred, rescued the pair that he was taken seriously in his proposition. Bruce eventually accepts under the condition that Tim endures extensive training to ensure that the fate of the previous Robin will not fall upon him as well.

WIP for now...I need to consult the rest of the Bat-fam before posting the complete version.
@Ruby@Inkarnate@Lord Wraith@Dblade26
@Ruby How much of the most recent Detective Comics canon will you be allowing in this RP? For example, could I roleplay with Clayface as part of the Bat-family?
@kingkonrad Nevertheless, I gues its going to be a whole lot of fun when it unravels.
@kingkonrad Of course, its the mini-Queen of Thorns that is weaving her schemes. If she does get betrothed to Jahaerys then she'll be the one sister-in-law Rhaegar won't get along with.
@kingkonrad So...you are having Ellion vie for the Kingsguard? You do realize that Rhaegar is going to chase after the next opening too, right?
@kingkonrad Ellion just became the Master-at-Arms and Rhaegar spends most of his time training. It was only a matter of time before they bumped on eachother...
@AtomicNut I am okay with that Atomic.
@MrDidact Didact!! Have you seen my post for Aemon?
@AtomicNut I put there to further the plot between the two of them, since I was absent for so long. I thought it would be unfair to leave you with nothing.

@MrDidact

The last days of the past month had gone by like a blur for the youngest Targaryen son. Starting from Aemons wedding, Rhaegar had seemingly received a rain from gifts, from his victory at the melee to his knighting and then his father granting him the Valyrian steel sword Dark Sister as a boon. But most importantly for him was the open display of pride from Jon, one that made him realize how much value he held for him as not only a Prince of the Seven Kingdoms, but as a son. And the very same night, it seemed like the gates of all the Seven Hells opened before them. The pirate lords that wished for the downfall of their family employed not men but scaled beasts, with scaled backs and filed teeth as well as warlocks manipulating dark magics. Stuff of tales and legends he gorged on as a kid yet didn't think he would ever live to see, and when they clashed against the Lords and knights of the realm, the little prince could only watch from the safety of the Red Keep as his King led the charge and men died for him. Even when he arrived to Aemons aid he was too late and by the next morn, when his father was sharing honors, he had half a mind to give it all back. How could he be worthy of a seat into the Order of the Dragon, or better yet the White Cloak he dreamed of when he couldn't fight besides his King or even defend his family with a miniscule of competence. Well now it was the time to prove himself...this mission would either prove his standing as a hero of his age or mark him as a coward and a failure, and Rhaegar would never consciously choose the later.

The silver lining to everything were all the new faces he had the chance to meet. Spending most of his time training in the yard, the Dumb Dragon was now the Bold one, and Champion of a Royal melee at that, which garnered him an immense amount of popularity that until recently was a stranger to. Still, one of the closest relations he was happy to forge was his friendship with the new Master-at-Arms, Ellion Bravethorn, who he knew as the son of their Master of Coin. It was impossible not to be fond of the affable Tyrell, since he and Merebelle introduced him to a sparring regime against three or four swordsmen, so that he was better prepared for an actual battle.

The Tyrell Knight and Lady Gray were an unlikely couple, but the way they smiled to each other gave a feeling of longing to the Dragon Prince. Considering his goals, he had accepted the possibility of not fathering any children, but the need for companionship wasn't something he could just discard...yet. Most curiously of all, he found himself drawn to one Lady Lysara, his sisters newest handmaiden. The Lyseni and her brother were already the cause of waves in their court and in the third day, Rhaegar finally found the courage to ask her for an afternoon stroll through the gardens. And when she accepted it was an immense surprise to him. If only his brother Jahaerys wasn't so scornful towards this budding friendship...

"Enjoy her company while you can Rhaegar, bed her if you will. After all, beds are abound in this city. But for pity's sake keep silent about it, less you make yourself a fool and the Lords get the wrong idea. They'll even be afraid to send their daughter to Court when they hear about Aegon the Unworthy reborn..."
Sometimes Rhaegar hated his brother. Always willing to impress those around him with his grasp of Valyrian verses and philosophical texts but his moral code was that of the alehouse. Why did he even had the right to reprimand him when he was lollygagging all day long with Ellions sister. The argument just burned from there, with Jahaeyrs avoiding the plate Rhaegar launched at him and Jon put an end to it with an iron-wrought command. It was uncharacteristic for two Princes shouldn't act like meddling children.

And now here he was, a sea away from home and pouring over a map of the Stepstones and Dark sister sheathed by his side. It was an impromptu War Council called by Aemon, and Rhaegar was more than willing to accept instead of being dragged into dicing or revelry by Viserys. They were also joined by Jaime Lannister and Ser Podrick Payne, both the past and current Lord Commanders of the Kingsguard.

"While Lord Aurane holds moderate control of the Islands, we should first pinpoint the dens were pirates are most in numbers in. It would help with finding the safest entry point for the task force. What do you say brother?" he asked the Crown Prince.
