Adding a block feature is important, but with new features that get added it does become harder to code for every type of block. Messages, PMs, VMs, Statuses, Views, etc. Eventually it may be something added, but there are more pressing issues.

@Vesuvius00 if you do believe someone is pestering you, send one of the staff members a PM and they can look into it. We can't, however, stop someone from viewing your profile. That's their choice and with this being a public site there isn't much you can do to stop it. You can however limit the amount of information you share (to which I can see you've already done)

That'd work in nicely and help create some interesting drama. ;D
also, Lian is the surname. Chinese write surnames first... but the confusion may make it fun in IC when she has to correct people.

So perhaps it's a good idea of thinking how we should tie together our characters. Sandboxes are nice and all but we need driving force here.

Also have to agree, a personal motivation is fine but it may not be a driving force that will carry through for pages on end.

Signout issues

Hi!

Okay so, a couple of days ago, I got curious and wondered what my page would look like when I'm not signed in. So, I signed out, and it said that I was online. I refreshed the page, and it still said that. I did this again today, and the same thing happened. What is going on, and how can this be fixed?

Signing out simply removes the code in the cookies that allows access to the site. The site however will show that you are online from your last 15 minutes of activity.

It's working fine. Just check back 15 min after you sign out and you'll see yourself as offline.

Lan resides within one of the chambers of the institute itself; a bland room with few furnishings to call her own. Surprisingly the room can be considered quite spacious when compared to the homes of those in the lower district, measuring at about 25 meters square with an additional area for toiletries. There is no kitchen and food is bought to her upon request.

To some, it would feel on par with a prison, but the doors are never locked and she has no curfew held against her. Life for her would be comfortable if it wasn't for the continual experimentations.

It was on the month leading up to Lan's nineteenth birthday that she had finally discovered the grave illness which had crawled its way into her body; a tumorous growth on the back of her left hand. Had she have realised that it was not the continual eye drops of Gigabyte she had become dependant on, she might have caught those early signs of the Bio-Plague much, much sooner—that being the psychedelic hallucinations.

Instead, the foolish girl believed that she had the body of a goddess, a body which processed the manufactured drug in such a way that her hits were much more profound than your regular user. It was a mistake in understanding where the delusions truly originating from; a silent error that helped her became a testing mule for drug quality; and finally a role that, for a time, earned her the street name of Queen Giga.

Self loathing and sin aside Lan understood that she had a massive problem on her hands. In her fear she ventured into the Deep Urban to hide from the world as one of those who were infected and to search for a solution. She knew full well that a visit to one of the regular hospitals would lead to her death—an execution where she may as well have pulled the trigger herself. It was within these infested slums where she came across an underground surgeon who promised her freedom from this crippling plague, for a high price. She was desperate, she took that offer with the hopes of returning to her previous normal life... and he took far more from her than Lan ever bargained for.

Lan woke from the surgery more empty than before with a void filled with more pain and anguish than she experienced before in her life. Her left arm, the right forearm, the right eye, an assortment of internal organs and even sections of her spinal cord; all missing. The good doctor had harvested her body for his own personal greed knowing that on the black-market an array of fresh produce would fetch a pretty penny. She had been fortunate to still have a hold on her own life, but her spirit had been shattered almost beyond repair.

Weeks later and for whatever reason a G.I.C worker who was travelling through the Deep Urban happened to stumble across Lan as she laid homeless in the street. For the curious individual they saw this as an opportunity to gather a fresh specimen for Doctor Guskov's ever growing cybernetic experimentations. With little resistance Lan was taken away and began her new life within the Institute.

Or write in a notebook with 1001 ways to kill the character, how to chop and cut them up, and ways to dispose the body. Leave the notebook out by accident one day and when questioned by someone in your house you can simply reply with "Oh, just ideas..."

Then you can watch that person slowly start to panic as they constantly go back and read that little death book.

You can also do things like leave it near the sink with the biggest knife just lying in the actual bowl; or receipts for hand saws, bolt cutters, and rope (but you don't show them the return receipt for those products, you just want that purchase receipt).

Life is fun when those around you are going insane.

Depending on the image as well, sometimes they may not show on mobile. This seems to be rare though and only when the URL of the image doesn't end with .jpg, .png, or .gif. Imgur would be a good example as their URLs may either lead to the image directly, or to a page containing the image.

I believe the original idea was that once an interest check was made, the GM could make the RP, link it to the interest check and it would notify the user of the new OOC.

Perhaps something could be added that automatically subscribes you to the OOC thread? It would only do so if you posted in the interest check initially so GMs can't spam people subscription box, and the GM can only do it once so it doesn't become a tool to annoy users.
