I'd take a crack at Johnny but I was under the impression this one was dead? Last time I checked the discord channel it had been dead for quite awhile....

Who's left in this? IDK if I could still do Fredzilla but there's a couple characters I've been reading up on lately I wouldn't mind taking a crack at. Did Sep ever come back or is he completely out now?

@KatherinWinter Somebody asked pretty early on about when to post, pretty much as soon as the IC was posted. I answered immediately after.

So question, if 4 go on this mission, does that mean the rest need to sit and wait for their turn?

If four of us go into it the rest can post out of battle from HQ, getting to know one another, etc. Four players on one or two enemies won't take long at all.

As far as not seeing anything being posted from HQ outside of the ongoing battle, @Drewvonawesome posted before and right after @knighthawk, and @Weird Tales had a nice sized opening post as well that was pretty hard to miss. There were posts in less than seven days, IDK where you're getting the math wrong. You posted an IC post eight/nine days ago [the site said 8 a minute ago now it says 9...] and 'hawk posted five/six days later. If you want interaction you have to make it happen, unless you want us to come to you and you're being a lone wolf or something. If you've got some Casual length posts in you then by all means don't run off. However it does seem like you're missing quite a bit between the IC and OOC, what we've been over, and who's doing what. Read what you might've missed and show me you got another solid post in you, make the boys look like idiots in the training area, make conversation with one of them while making a grande entrance in a sea of shadows, catch up to one of the recruits who just got back from the mission, etc. You can still do a lot with your character, but nobody can do it for you.

The B-3P0 self repaired some of the damage it had taken already as the Daxamite readied an assault leaping into the air and flying towards the humanoid machine. The hardened shell of the minion had started to return and the robot was ready.

Ultra Boy: 15 hp
Minion1: 6 hp [+4 hp from 2 defense moves]

The minion went in for a flying assault and caught the semi experienced hero off guard.

Ultra Boy: 13 hp [-2 hp from minion attack
Minion1: 6 hp

Sol blasted back at the robot with his heat vision until getting close enough to the minion to grab him and throw him through an already wrecked flying car. With a superhero landing, Ultra Boy punched through the chest of his enemy and stood up from the crunching sound of machines being ripped through.

Ultra Boy: 13 hp
Minion1: 0 hp [-6 from the three attacks of Sol, DEFEATED]

"That... was... AWESOME!" Sol exclaimed with a grin, "Hey... Ferro Lad was it? Should we take a piece or two of this thing back to HQ? Do we still have a super smart guy on the team to look at this sort of thing?"

The group got back to the Legion headquarters in Queensland Park in no time. They entered through the sliding doors on the bottom floor that recognized their rings. Ferro Lad looked to be going towards the central hub of the monitor room to speak with Cosmic Boy. Ultra Boy moved on to his own private quarters after stepping off an elevator to another floor. He was still grinning until he entered his empty room. He'd only acquired a single box of clothes and stuff since he'd been on Earth the last year or so. The last remaining picture of his family was a little burned and sat on a table, and upon looking down at it Sol's whole demeanor changed. The grin was gone and he remembered why he was there. To avenge his family, his whole world, and take down the techno monster that is Brainiac 5. He took his shirt and mask off, his belt, and gloves. Sol laid down on his bed with his stuff in the floor, arms behind his back, and just stared at the ceiling.

@The Kid Lantern I don't want to but I feel like I'm wasting my time. It might be the holidays but that's no excuse for seven days of no post. I don't do well with individual post. That's why I want to be in a group. I haven't seen anyone but knighthawk in the training room. Maybe I missed the post but I have been reading most of the podt. Titianpad doesn't work on my phone so that isn't an option

You waited seven days after the IC was posted to post yourself, so complaining about others taking as long is a bit hypocritical. Aside from knighthawk and yourself, the only other two people at HQ who weren't on the mission were going in for the training session. If you're doing everything from your phone it's understandable you might've missed a couple posts, but they're quite literally the only posts that aren't smack in the middle of the first battle. It's hard to miss them.

If you want to bow out that's fine, but don't do it under the pretense seven days is too long to wait for a post or interactions when it took you seven days to get a post up yourself [and you didn't actually try to interact with anyone yet]. I'm here to have fun with a superhero themed RP, not waste anybody's time. Especially around the holidays.

It's nearing the holidays so I assumed there would be hiccups, and I posted the IC around Thanksgiving. Knighthawk had to take some time away but immediately got back into the scene with a post when he'd returned. @Drewvonawesome and @Weird Tales both posted about going to the training session and you could've made something happen there. I try and take notes on what's happening and such in the titanpad and always encourage anyone to check that out, especially if a few of us are on there discussing the game and characters. We may already have a couple dropouts but it's still early in the game to assume the three silent folks aren't gonna show. I'll PM them if for some reason the @ tags aren't doing anything. I know @Aro is having internet complications ATM, and @Endrance just finished her finals week yesterday. Haven't heard anything from @FantasyChic though.

Three players haven't posted. Four are returning from action in the field. Three are in the training area. I know it's a big cast and a lot is going on, but everything's there in the posts. I think you could still play Shadow off as a more lone wolf character, hence the not immediately jumping into a training session with a couple of noobs and a reincarnated Hawkman. But if you wanna call it quits it's cool.

The IC was posted 15 days ago and now it has 18 posts. I'd say for a stat base game that's moving rather well, hell even for a standard RP that's doing well. @knighthawk had Horus address anyone who came into the training session. I think Bulk Lad and Superforce were getting in on that. So far though, Shadow hasn't interacted with anyone at HQ. She heard Horus over the PA, but you never made it clear if she was going to train or not. Which is fine if you want her to be a bit standoffish and go at stuff lone wolf/one woman wolfpack style. If you want to do some character interaction I'm looking for somebody to talk to with Ultra Boy because I want to get into where he was at on his homeworld before it was wrecked from Brainiac 5 spawned natural disasters and planet quakes. You could get some character development in there too if you want.

Hawk, Superforce, and Bulk Lad are all in the training area. We haven't heard from @Endrance Stargirl, @Aro Phantom, or @FantasyChic Miss Appear! Ultra Boy, Bolt, Momentum, and Ferro Lad will be back shortly as soon as I can get another post up.

Though the game is stat based, please don't anybody think this is all about the battles. There's plenty of room in between battles to develop our characters, forge relationships, etc. and its still very much a character driven story. Some of our characters have some deep reasons for being here, some are experienced and some are rookies and complete noobs. If one of you want to go in half cocked and try to take on a general right out of the gate to show a prideful side to your hero that's cool. The next battle I'm going to be more hands on with the enemies and really have them fight some of you back.

@bluetommy2 @Tengri either of you wanna finish this dude off and we'll call it over and get back to HQ? I just don't wanna be the one to stomp ridiculous amounts of ass and be the only one to level up. I think I had the most posts so far but was only ahead by one post with a few of you right behind me. Still haven't got posts from a few people but it could be holiday madness or finals still.

@knighthawk you gonna do something in the training area/War Room? I think you had a couple takers at this point. Remember you can use a tech squid or robot minion in the session if you want.

Once you guys do something in the training area I'll likely begin a bit with a general. Or maybe storywise we can go to Sorcerer's World to recruit the Black Witch and Blok back into the team only to have them violently decline.
