Erika waited patiently for the strange looking girl to respond and she continued to wait without disturbing the awkwardly long silence that followed. The girl's leer put Erika on edge as she was seemingly stuck in limbo. Clearly this had been a mistake as the other girl's face displayed something akin to being annoyed. While Erika looked like cool and collected, her mind raced as she desperately wanted free of this horrible stare-off. After some time, the girl finally looked away, sighing as she did so.

Erika was just about to return, making sure never to make this mistake again until she heard the girl speak up at last. "Oh... uh. I'm sorry..?" Erika meekly spoke, not really meaning her apology but saying it anyway. Then Erika's ears twitched with despair as she heard the rap on the wooden bench followed by the command to join her newfound 'friend'.

"Oh... O-okay!" Erika tried to feign some excitement but it came out sounding like she was a little bit nervous. In truth, she didn't want to talk with this girl for awhile but felt obliged to obey her command, lest she be cursed or something by this witch-looking girl. Erika stepped away from her physical barrier, Claire, and took a seat next to this witch-looking girl. It couldn't be helped but Erika did look pretty timid sitting there.

Erika swallowed a lump in her throat as if a wrong answer would impact her life. "I'm Erika!", so far so good, "And yes! I just got here from Cooldome this morning." Claire added feeling a bit more confident as she still wasn't hexed. Things might appear to be going smoothly but that's when Claire joined in, making particular mention to the outfit Ren was wearing. Erika's eyes went wide as she feared the worse. Erika's fear was just enough to distract her from hollering about the man watching them.

Shallow Introductions

With the metaphorical nod from his superior, Mandus did his part in what he considered to be a crazed scheme to show the Outliers strength and, of course, finally reveal who exactly was the Envisioning One. He did not agree with this course of action, revealing who exactly could pull all the Outliners strings, as it was, to Mandus's knowledge, an unprecedented move that no previous Envisioning Ones had performed. They always worked in the shadows, puppeteering the direction of many things which now could include the MultiVerse reality. With the end in sight, why reveal their trump card now? It didn't make sense and even though Mandus had counseled as much, it appears they were still going through with it. Thus, Mandus activated the commands to sends their behemoth of a ship to arrive just above the negotiation party. Indeed, it was possibly going to agitate the other parties but Eto was already establishing plenty before Mandus had inputted his first command...

--

Arrival in spectacular fashion. Amidst the chaos of the command ship's arrival, Mandus casually strolled out like it was a walk in the park, pig mask and all. He was not alarmed at the hostile reception he was receiving as that much was understandable. A massive alien craft arrives overhead and your head obviously imagines the worse. Certainly one who interpreted their flashy entrance was the Imperium boy scout who already took to his threats. Mandus proceeded undeterred from the man's intense fiery zealotry and threats, unafraid of what that man was capable of. It wasn't so much that Mandus thought he wasn't a threat, on the contrary, Mandus fully did believe that his body could be torn to shreds by that man's vigor alone! Alas, however, that Mandus wasn't human, not anymore. With all he has been through, he has reached a status that is far beyond mortality and physicality. He was a god in his own right and no amount of physical damage would ruin that.

Mandus continued his stroll to the negoations table as the other factions spoke up to comment, all the while the distant pounding of the encroaching Envisioning One was getting louder and louder. The Alliance so eagerly calling this an act of war and the Goa'uld playing off the act with blind confidence. They were fools. Honestly, the Envisioning One shouldn't bother.

Mandus brought his gaze to Kaldor, first, seeing as he was the most likely to overreact. "Would that be all xeno flith that aren't a decedent from the line of Men from the Imperium, Grand Master Knight?" Mandus spoke clearly and confidently, his voice still loud and commanding even through his mask although it did have an odd filter because of it. His intention obvious and despite the danger of antagonizing the man even more, Mandus did it anyway. "Perhaps you should consider your own role in furthering the escalation at these negotiation tables?". Mandus said, gesturing the Imperium party in general as he continued, "As all those present can clearly witness, the Imperium diplomatic representatives were the first to draw weapons and thus violated a significant responsibility that a diplomatic party should abide by, but this isn't even the worst offense."

Mandus had all the makings of a great orator and if the Outliners were more democratic, perhaps he'd be the Envisioning One. "I would invite all members of the delegation to turn their attention to those present." Mandus gestured to the Goa'uld's first and would make a gesture to each party in attendance whenever he made mention of them. "Despite the Goa'uld's irrelvancy up to this point, they have presented the Supreme Commander Ba'al and Queen Qe'tesh. The Outliners sent one of their higher rating officials to initiate the diplomatic proceedings with the added impact of their leader, the Envisioning One, to personally oversee and weigh in on such negotiations. An act that I should mention is highly taboo for this institution. The Alliance..." The first time Mandus broke was with a slight chuckle at the mention of the Alliance, as he now remembered that joke from earlier. "..The Alliance sent whatever ranking officials they had to delegate."

Finally it was back to the Imperium for the whole point of all this. "While all the parties present had considered this to be a serious representation of their factions," Mandus was careful to avoid mentioning the phrase 'taking this thing serious' as the Outliners did not take these negotiations seriously. That was why Eto was representing and not someone with more tact, like the Ethereal. "The Imperium sent a diplomat and a One-Man Army, who'd slaughter enemies of the Imperium like pigs." If one could see Mandus's face at the moment, they'd see his wicked grin and satisfaction with his own deduction. He could have kept going, trying to illustrate the issue of sending a xenophobic guardian who was famed for slaughtering enemies of the Imperium by the tens of thousands but he hoped the other parties got his implied point. Besides, he dared not to press the point further as the footsteps of his superior were sounding ever closer. "But back to the matter at hand, this is not an act of escalation as you all so eagerly desire but rather, the most compromising act that the Outliners can provide." Mandus was purposefully being a bit vague here and while he did mean the grand reveal of the Envisioning One, he also thought of the relief of duty for Eto as lead diplomat.

Claire seemed nice and definitely had a more attractive, positive personality based off of that first impression. Even though Erika had wanted to reply to Claire, a boy, Reiji had arrived and eagerly introduced himself to Claire. Strangely, Erika got the vague sense that she was being entirely ignored by that boy as he didn't even look her way when introducing himself, but trying to be a good person, Erika simply smiled politely and let those two talk until Claire brought the conversation back around to include Erika again.

"It is nice to meet you, too!" Erika replied in earnest, though she found herself meaning it more for Claire than Reiji. It was around this time that Erika began noting the many new arrivals, some were eagerly introducing themselves while others kind of let others come over. It reminded Erika of that other girl who was here when Erika first showed up and she leaned forward in order to past Claire and get a good glimpse of the shady girl.

She was no longer hiding under her hood which gave Erika a good glimpse of her face. It was strangely masculine and she looked really ill right now or something akin to that. Maybe she was just tired? Regardless, Erika felt kind of bad nobody had come over to talk to her yet so Erika spoke up for the girl to hear her. "Hello!" She said with a wave. "Here to get a Pokemon, too?", she asked trying to sound friendly.
Boys, boys, please... We all don't have to try and be the "strongest" character in the game.

There is a lot more fun to be had by characters who aren't essentially immortal. ^.^

<Snipped quote by Pirouette>
May or may not have really quickly added that in, no idea how I forgot to add it, although it kinda looks a bit awkward because Erika and Reiji are both talking to Claire.

I know... Thus the earlier OOC *cough*

@Keyblade87
So... Erika is at the lab guys. The past two posters haven't made mention to that...
I'd actually completed my post this morning but due to everyone posting , I've had to make some edits to it, even now it feels short compared to everyone else's post.

I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone can post at their own pace.
