Emmy is, at his base, is entirely made of stone but due to living in more lush environments as of late, it has become overgrown with bark-like vines and healthy greenery. Its height is stunted, measuring just about six feet from hunch to toe (as Emmy's head isn't the tallest point). In Emmy's chest lies a purple jewel that is Emmy's life energy. It emits so much power that the greenery that has taken root into Emmy's stone is capable of sustaining the plants even through some milder winters.
PersonalityYou'll find that Emmy is quite the quiet type... It is unable to speak and instead relies on his slow, gentle expressions in order to express itself. Interaction with it should be done about with simple words or expressions in order to best interact with it. Despite the inability to talk, Emmy can be pretty expressive through his actions. It is fairly timid to meeting new people or being introduced to new experiences. Parallel to that, it is not very intelligent with something akin to a young child's curious mind but without the creativity to go with it. However, it is capable of learning, albeit a bit slowly, and even more impressive, it does have a very strong memory capable of remembering even the slightest detail for millennia, possibly.

Bio/HistoryEmmy's rock was probably first conjured from the earth's crust around 55 million years ago as it originally comes from the Himalayan Mountains so one could consider that its birthplace. However, it was just a large boulder in the mountains for most of its existence until something breathed life into those lifeless rocks. There are a number of potential supernatural beings that could have brought life into Emmy but none so far have claimed responsibility for its creation yet. In fact, the only remnant of Emmy's creator is a small pulsating diamond within Emmy, approximately at its center of mass. Surprisingly, Emmy is aware of its stone heart and understands its importance, even so far to associate the diamond with the lush greenery growing around. Whatever the case, the diamond does emit a mystical power to bring Emmy to life and without it, Emmy would probably cease.
OtherMarie-Laure is a neighborhood kid that lives near the Supernatural house in Independence. At the start of the RP, I'll establish that Emmy has been there for some time before the other supernaturals moved in. Since he is basically a giant rock with no care necessary, the relocation program would probably just pick him up and drop him off shortly after acquiring the house, especially considering he is just going to be outside. So imagine Emmy living there for a week or two before the others arrive. During that time, Marie would have probably crept around the house as rumors would likely be a buzz about supernaturals moving in, so naturally, a child would probably investigate. Marie meets Emmy, calls him Emmy and so Emmy has his name. I'll play both characters seeing as Emmy doesn't do much on his own anyway. Plus, we need a human somewhere. Anyway~

PersonalityThe best way to sum up Marie is that she is inquisitive, intelligent, and adventurous with fear being a foreign concept to her. Despite her positive nature, she is a bit reclusive, often getting lost in her own thoughts and inquiries. This makes things a bit difficult befriending new people and as a result, Marie spends most of her time on her own, although she doesn't seem to bothered by it. She spends most of her time accompanying her father at the museum to satisfy her natural curiosity.

Bio/HistoryMarie-Laure is a native Parisian with her father being entirely French while her mother is entirely American. Marie had lived her first ten years of her life in Paris before they moved to Independence to be closer to Marie's mother's family, who at the time had a sick sister. They quickly got comfortable in the States and eventually decided to stay. For the next three years, they mostly lived in peace. Marie's mother started teaching at the local christian school and Marie's father got a job at the local museum, which quickly became Marie's favorite place in town. With the recent announcement of supernatural beings moving down the street, Marie's mother is a bit apprehensive about staying due to her more conservative, religious mindset. With the threat of leaving looming, Marie had to see what the fuss was about it. After all, not many get to see a supernatural being up close.
