Hi everyone! I've been talking with Platinum and I am aiming to return, though it'll be awhile before I catch up!
Hironaka, Severa
First Impressions@NobodiesHero

The opening ceremony was less pomp and pageantry than what Severa was expecting, especially considering the rather aristocratic architecture of this place. Just a few speeches by the leadership and everybody was released to do.. whatever they wanted. It was a horrible start to what seemed like a promising prospect. Kosei had a reputation for being more.. aggressive in their Hero training courses than the other academies, and if Severa was going to make up excessive aggression from the previous entrance exam, this was the place for it.

All throughout the introductory speeches, Severa's fiery red eyes lulled with boredom as she crossed her arms, zoning out as she thought up fantasy where she was praised as the number one hero. A bit ambitious but it was just where Severa was setting her mark as she knew she had a good quirk to do well. It was just a matter of proving it.

Severa's daydream ended shortly after the dismissal as everyone around her began moving around. It provided a good opportunity to try and identify some of the people here as anyone likely in her class will have been here by now. Though even her scan of her classmates was found to be lacking as Severa could have sworn a friend of hers would also be here. At least that brat said she would.

Aggravated but out of a stubborn resolve, Severa separated from the group of fresh students and headed for landmark to prop herself up against. In this instance, she found a clearing of landscaping and leaned up against one of the trees as she scanned the cluster of students, arms crossed as she stewed quietly in her quiet aggravation.

More to her annoyance, the new students took their time parting and heading off, most to the training facilities as that was probably the most significant part of this campus. As they did so, Severa's eyes followed an eager group making their way away, catching the distinct figure of someone sitting in proximity to her. Severa turned fully to see a scrawny four-eyes reading. He looked too young to be a part of the staff or even an upperclassmen. No, this was certainly a new student. "Tch!" Severa quietly scoffed turning her gaze back to thinning cluster of new students. ".. What? That confident in yourself that you're going to do well in the competitions or resigning yourself early?" Severa asked Four-Eyes, her mind only settling that people on her notion that people are here to compete and not necessarily anything else. Her tone wasn't mocking either, though her anger at other things was certainly present in her voice. As she was curious to why someone would be so lax at this time. She wouldn't admit it, but she certainly wasn't.

Kira Nomo

Almost everyday since since Kira turned twelve, she had been getting up at five in the morning in order to perform a routine workout to stay in shape for baseball. Things have changed since that time. The workouts had changed from conditioning, pitching and batting practice to strength and martial arts. Her father had fully embraced retirement and stopped waking up to help his daughter train. Kira suspected that he was still upset about her failure in following his footsteps, which was beginning to get a bit, well... tiring. It wasn't as if Kira could control the commission or rules, but still, her father found a way to psuedo-blame her for it.

Although Kira felt like she was growing apart from her father, there was at least something good to come from it. Kira and her mother had never really been to close since it was always her and her father. She was more of a background figure in her life, which Kira came to regret as she was getting to know her mother since her fall from baseball. Every morning Kira's mother would wake up at five, tidy the house a bit, and then prepare Kira a healthy breakfast. It was breakfast with mother and those moments would always be held in Kira's fondest memories.

This became Kira's new routine as she prepared for the inevitable call from the mysterious Tumble. She hadn't a clue when she might be called but better to be safe and prepared than not at all. In fact, Kira had a gym bag prepped ever since the evening of her acceptance, so when a call came at five-thirty in the morning, Kira had a feeling it was time.

Sure enough, her mother called her into the kitchen, told her who called, and offered her bag and a simple breakfast. Kira quickly ate most of it, gave her mother a hug, and departed with her mother's well wishes.

Kira followed her mother's instructions with a hint of skepticism. "Meet me at the Toshinori National Garden, beside the swings. I'll be the one in the sandbox." ... There was an explanation to follow, supposedly. The thought had briefly crossed Kira's mind that this was all some elaborate hoax, a joke at her expense, but this all strangely sounded right, like this was a test for something grander. No way of knowing until she was there.

She was dressed in dirty blue hoodie and plain looking sweats that concealed her shorts and a plain t-shirt. Her hood was up and her gym bag was thrown over her shoulder, looking the part of a serious early morning athlete. Kira had surprisingly arrived second to another. Upon arrival, Kira noticed a woman laying in the sand... Tumble? She assumed from the unflattering eccentric first impression but there was the other. A fellow student..? He looked fit, though a bit groggy and maybe a bit beyond that, worn out..? "Morning. Kira Nomo, ready for..." Kira stopped just before the sandbox and glanced down at the infamous Tumble, expressing slight bewilderment. "...anything, Tumble." Her tone trailing off in hesitation at the sight.

I think you are looking too much into the "leveling system". There isn't one in here, necessarily. Tagged skills are essentially a method of calling attention to a character's strengths and perks offer something like a specific characteristic about character. So no, there aren't levels, but providing a character with an excess of tagged skills and perks will cause them to appear "higher level", which is a problem. I don't like the line "Then his stats and Bonuses would make him more like a raid boss than an actual character that I played.", because that's unnecessary. Bee has been providing the initial conflict and other player characters that fight each other can provide additional conflict. You are more than welcome to play an antagonistic character but keep in mind that your character will be at the same "level" as everyone else's.
