... On a different note, to all of you who may have read the "Towns of Isson" hider. I believe I severely undersold my intention with Justroad City. I've edited it to more represent what I desired.
Here's what it was, for those who by some reason want to compare. I mean, this is still true, but it shouldn't like be the MAIN THING about the city.

Haha. Your background is more about your mother than it is about you. ... But really, that's fine, it appears that defines who she is right now, after all. I would like to note the region only has one set of Elite Four and Champion, and those wait at the Major League. There is always a Champion of the Minor League, the winner of the last tournament, but more than likely the last such Champion is trying to take on Major League next and they have no requirements or expectations to necessarily try to defend their title. But, that's just details. Becoming the Minor League Champion still means you're on top of the world for a day and comes with tons of recognition~!
Also, semi-finals in the Major League and you feel the need to defend her? You know, that practically means being officially recognized as being among the top 10 trainers of Isson at the time, right? XD ... Losing in the first round of Minor League, and then taking on Major League and getting to the semi-finals. Quite an admirable leap, there. Haha. Well. Your mother is certainly impressive enough that Kalmia would be totally happy to supply her daughter with a Pokédex~
And yes. Snowstorm counts too. Hail and snow are the same as far as Pokémon is concerned.

@Rune_Alchemist Indeed, contests are around. I like giving people options. They're based on the only contests I've ever actually used in the Pokémon games, that of Ruby and Sapphire, when I was young enough to have time for that.

Thooooouuuuugh... XD ... As cool as it would be to have Team Valor and Candela in Isson stirring things up and encountering your characters, the team that you're referring to is Team Virtue. Just, well... Details. Haha. Also, I called the town Goldshore, but honestly, Goldshire fits it better. XD
Not going to really have the personality of the Pokémon really influence the performance of the Pokémon, because that doesn't make sense to me. But yeah. Haha.
So, aside from some incorrect terminology, Martin is definitely accepted~
Hm, there's no mention of how he came to be given a Pokédex by Kalmia, though. Eh, that's not strictly necessary. Hold a nice speech about your motives and Kalmia will definitely be swayed~ XD

@Keyblade87 ... Ah. Um. This might be my own fault for not specifying it. However, you receive your Pokémon blank. This means no held items or TM moves. Also, Brick Break is way too powerful a move to start with anyway. Maybe I'll be nice and give you Rock Smash early on if you don't want to wait to actually get a Fighting type move, if I feel like it. XD

Also, I suddenly realized. My Pokémon Character Sheet did not require you to place the typing of the Pokémon. I didn't realize until I wondered if Riolu also was steel-type as his evolution but couldn't actually check the CS for it. Since I know almost all types by heart, it must have slipped my mind.

Alright, I'm changing the status to full again with those who've looked in.
@Pirouette and @Pink Madness may join. There may be a ninth player in this PM conversation I have here, too, maybe. That, plus one player with expressed interest from the former game has yet to post their character. After we get the last couple of characters ready, we'll be ready to roll.
That said, I already posted the introductory post along with the OOC. Those already finished have plenty of time to fine-tune their first posts. Haha.
