@Pink Madness Alright. Post about that, then. Haha.
@Terminal

... ... ... It was a double-space. I noted that I had two spaces between two words. I couldn't handle there being two spaces. Did it say anything in the rules that I couldn't edit? ... aaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuugggggggghhhhhhhhh...
In the future, a spell is cast which transforms the mighty tree into a human for some reason. Unfortunately, the former tree had absolutely no idea how to survive as a human, and was as such later found having starved to death while naked with its feet buried in the ground, body hanging very weirdly.
@Pikmin Eye Goshpf. Haha. Yupp, that was an adventure. Nicely posted. And now, for the little something I had stored for one that did go through all that... Can't promise you'll like it, but heck, I had it stored...

@Joshua Tamashii ... Teh-heh. Alright, then. I will make a note that you're assuming in your post that you're getting away flawlessly, but that might not always be the case, but I'll accept it in this case, so yupp. Good luck. Let's see where you end up. Well posted.
@JDolan@Drache … Yeah. That’s about what I figured. Suppose it was silly of me to ask when I kinda already knew. Thing is, I like whitewashed things, happily-ever-after and such, I don’t like having to worry. I don’t go to fiction to feel sadness, so it honestly annoys me when a character dies… ever, in anything. It feels detrimental to my enjoyment, when I indulge in it for my enjoyment. Well, I’ll simply keep doing what I’m doing and avoid Game of Thrones and let those who enjoy it do so.

@Drache Heh. I never wrote that with the intention of getting you into anime. I was simply explaining what I find appealing about it. But, if you wish me to recommend you something… I’ll pick a few things. I'll PM you something to ensure this thread doesn't go off-track.
@shylarah ... Not sure ending my bio with being sent through a portal as you suggested was necessarily a good idea, because now my character's not comfortable in the slightest and believes everything is going to kill her, and she has no tale whatsoever as to how she ended up where she is and is immediately going to ask questions.

Then again, maybe that's a good thing. XD

That aside.

I am considerably amused how each character have their story developed as to how they had their reasons to go there, meanwhile Amelie is just dropped there with a note of basically "you're gonna die~<3". XD

... Also, gah, I didn't really want to use colored text for speech, but I've been spoiled. I do want to make it easier for those who simply want to read the words spoken, and it does make it a lot more clear on a forum. I need to study my books around here that I haven't read in a while on how they made dialogue clearer in black text... ... ... Oh, well!

... Sh**. I was going to tag Terminal. ... Oh, well. @Terminal, there, tagged.

I made sure to get my post out as soon as I could as to make sure there isn't a lot of posts to read at the end of the two-day limit to make some maybe have to go over the time-limit to read new posts right by the time-limit... hah. There were a lot of things to react to in the first post... hope I reacted to enough...
@Terminal

Ngh. That had gone terribly. Okay. Where was she now? And why was there a damp paper on her face…?

Amelie lifted her hands and took the paper off her face, assuming it wasn’t attached somehow, and then inspected it. Her expression was startled, as the young beige-blonde girl read the words. … She was indeed the one who was lost, now. She crumpled the note with a bit of distaste and threw the remains down on the floor of the vehicle. It was likely a bad idea to keep it around, as it was the product of another magician. … Maybe she’d pick it up and throw it out the window later.

Grabbing the sides of her cloak to pull around her a bit, Amelie looked around. She was in a limo. A strangely extravagant one, with very particular tastes. Now, she could be fine with some eccentric design-decisions, but that gas was REALLY irking her. That really didn’t belong there, which made her believe she might be in some magical trap of Penny’s, or some ally of Penny. The sounds from the buildings she was hearing were also building a very eerie atmosphere. And she was most DEFINITELY not touching any of those drinks…

There were others around her. They weren’t reacting to her as if she had just popped out of nowhere. Questions swirled inside her head, and she turned to look out the window to confirm her location. Outside, she saw a normal rural town with strange neon lights and normal people… and then flinched seeing that wasn’t entirely the case. Something definitely wasn’t right here!

Agitated, as Penny had promised her death yet not how this was going to happen, Amelie asked her first question out loud with distress clear in her face.

‘Where are we going?’ she asked, mainly towards the chauffeur on the other side of the glass partition, looking past the rest. Of course, if any of the other passengers knew and answered, that would be nice as well. There were some oddities among these as well… Amelie simply had to keep calm and identify the nature of the threat and then attempt avoiding it with any means necessary.
@Drache The appeal of anime... Well. For one thing... there are hundreds of them. It's a whole world to explore, lying right at my fingertips through the invention of the internet, my apologies anime-makers. They contain some of the most quirky, strange and imaginative stories that I would never have thought of, sometimes with great comedy, other times with great drama. The stories they tell are, according to me, simply amazing. Granted, there are other places that tell amazing stories, but why would I let go of such an enormous source of imagination?

So there are examples of better and worse anime. Of course. But, nonetheless, I am easily entertained. I laugh, I cry, and I get inspired. Subtitles is the way to go because then you cannot miss anything, not sure why that would bother you. In any case, it isn't like I have anything better to do while I eat each meal, so I might as well watch an episode. Each is typically just 20 minutes, so that's perfect. After that, it's the same appeal as when someone else might watch a tv-show or movie.

Otherwise, that "childishness" you describe, it appeals to me. I like watching them much more than I like watching humans acting, for whatever reason. It automatically feels like I can take them less seriously, that I don't have to invest as much, and that's how I like it. The comedy is amazing. The dramatic plots are also sometimes amazing. And sometimes, I can unwind by watching the most childish **** in existence when I'm tired of everything else, so much variety. ... And then there's the fact I was exposed to it at an early age, so perhaps that factors in. But, yeah. I like imaginative cartoons that sometimes can be comedic, sometimes serious, sometimes just extremely weird. Japan is such a unique culture. Haha.

Now answer me this.

Can someone explain the appeal of Game of Thrones? Song of Ice and Fire?

The only thing I've heard about it is that people die a lot in it, when people least expect it. Why would I willingly get myself into a journey where I know that people I'll start liking will get killed off left and right? What's the point in that? It feels like I would be subjecting myself to torture. What's the appeal in that?
