@Joshua Tamashii Ah. I should have anticipated that question. Haha. Well. Very well. Nicely posted.
Had my post already written. Then suddenly, new post. Had to add a small extra bit at the end there to flee. And that's assuming the gun doesn't petrify her on touch. Hahahaha.

Wonder how good the aim of someone who's never fired one of these is? I'd wager extremely poor, and they'll likely be overcome by recoil. I have no idea, I've never held one of those either. ... Hahahaha.
Amelie breathed out after having brought the boy back to the safe flat surface, relieved by her success. Okay, so good things first, it seemed like the sphere above their heads hadn’t killed anyone after leaving the car. Sensible, why would people be living beneath murder-spheres? … That said, if that’s the case, then why did it lash out against the lightning-rod? ...

First things first. She didn’t know what those guns were, but Penny had promised her death and Amelie was taking any advantage she could get. She hurried over and picked up one of the submachine guns that the two grunts had been carrying, doing her best to not look at the corpses as she fished the gun up and kept her fingers off the trigger.

‘…’ Immediate problem, Amelie had never even seen a real gun before. Of course, she knew the theory and seen them in movies, but… What was ammunition? What was safety? What could be moved? Making sure not to touch the trigger and point the shooty end at the ground, Amelie checked for moving parts and options, trying to figure out all the preparations…

With the assumption that the gun had not triggered a booby trap or something, she’d then turn to look at the car as it arrived. She cautiously eyed the man speaking, frowning while holding the gun pointed at the ground, she didn’t trust pointing it in any other direction. Amelie was somewhat aware of what a walking disaster waiting to happen she was, holding this weapon, but… Still. Better safe and sorry than dead.

‘What do you mean by “stragglers”?’ She asked, mildly hostile in her voice, eyes darting in-between the man and the opening doors, prepared to raise a Redirection Orb at any moment.

… And then Donny threw the grenade. Amelie’s eyes widened in surprise and she dashed to get to hopeful safety, a bit further away, not turning around until she heard the explosion and confirmed she was safe.
@shylarah I will note, that in that particular story I did not get the impression that the character was invulnerable because of his gear, but more that the author would never allow him to fail his quest and by that he was invulnerable, all the gear was just in-story in-the-story reasons to explain the invulnerability. Which, of course, completely failed at the end. So, it completed that goal through the way of being a character like that rather than by gear.

That's how I interpreted it, anyway. Terminal might have interpreted it differently. I don't know. Oh, well.
It somehow has the deepest character-development arc ever, where a hole in reality was created with sentience and is looking for its creator + purpose and attacks by summoning natural things from less hospitable environments. It's been talking by summoning speech from other realities and it's going to make all of the internet love a hole in reality. Probably turns out to have an intricate connection to whatever quest we're embarking on. Yupp.
@Crossfire So, um. Do I determine the result of my action myself? It does appear to work differently in different roleplays, but in this case, do I simply decide that I hit flawlessly and I just rely on information the GM provides and assume I can do whatever until the GM says no?
@Banana Heh. I wouldn't dare try to rank the different characters, but, um. Didn't you forget at least two? That is, Arsenal and Macavity, unless I missed some message. ... Oh, well.

Speaking of missed messages. When I originally looked over Outsider's character sheet, it says his loyalty with the Minutemen. Yet, he hasn't been recognized yet as far as I've seen, which confuses me. Was it said behind somewhere that he, like, hasn't joined them yet? I know I'm not in a position to necessarily know, but that has thrown me for a loop for a while. Huh.
@Pikmin Eye Nicely posted. Yupp, so it goes. Needing a fire-type, eh. *checks where the different fire-types appear* ... Alright.
@Rune_Alchemist Teh-heh.
Or now. There you go. Yell at me if there's anything you want. Yupp.
