‘That’s it, yes.’ The guy says with a little smile and cigarette in hand. ‘We get orders from customers, typically for rare, unusual or cute Pokémon, and we send a grunt to obtain that Pokémon for them. Sometimes there are details, like they have to be a certain level, know a specific move, such things, but generally it’s enough to merely obtain the Pokémon. The operator can usually point the grunts in the right direction for the particular Pokémon. That’s our operations at their core.’ He said, looking to Dawkin. ‘For a bigger paycheck, you CAN take other kinds of jobs… but you don’t have to.’ He continued.

‘… And if you say no, we’ll just continue from where we left off.’ The girl said, crossing her arms, glaring at Dawkin. Growlithe and Ducklett both stood ready as well.

‘Not with the intention to pressure you into joining, mind you.’ The guy noted. ‘Just a natural consequence.’ And he left it at that.

… There’s a light ripple of force going through the water, that only someone who was actually standing in the water could feel, and that was only Dawkin, right now. It made the water wave just the slightest, but it wasn’t anything the two of them noticed. There’s... something in the water. As for what it was and its overall nature… hard to say. But it’d be quite still after this.

"Interesting… … ... give you my number, catch a few Pokemon… … … If not I… … … Plus if I… … … … … say no?"

It was a bit hard to hear what hard to hear what the person they were talking to were saying. As they did have limited contact earlier, Donna MIGHT recognize the voice, but likely not as there was a bit of obstruction and such. Donna kept spying, from behind the two individuals. It was, however, far easier to hear what the two others were saying, as they were closer.

‘… And if you say no, we’ll just continue from where we left off.’ The girl filled in. The two Pokémon, the dog and the duck, looked ready for potential battle.

‘Not with the intention to pressure you into joining, mind you. Just a natural consequence.’ The guy finished.

What all this meant was for Donna to interpret.

Nincada managed to dodge the Vine Whip, the vines smashing down where it hit into the stones at the bottom of the drain, and then the green Pokémon followed Nincada with his gaze, turning ready to intercept in case of more attacks.

Then, he heard Martin’s words and noted he was pointed at. Bulbasaur turned and met Martin’s gaze, glaring defiantly back, accepting the challenge.

‘Bulba!’ He then darted at Nincada as the bug was using Harden. He wasn’t going to let him set up in peace. Using Harden requires the user to stay still for a bit, and Bulbasaur was going to take advantage of that. He stopped before the bug, tilting forward, and launched a couple of tiny seeds from the bulb on his back. Leech Seed.

Now, Nincada could dodge these. But, perhaps not while also trying to Harden. If he’d go ahead with the three Hardens plan, then Bulbasaur was going to hit with Leech Seed and then continue with a single more Growl before proceeding to Vine Whip at Nincada. But, seeing Bulbasaur’s plan to take advantage of having to stay still with Harden, would Martin maintain that this was the best course of action?

‘Hmpf!’ The girl smiled when addressed, more than happy to introduce herself with one hand on her him and bringing the other hand up to her chin while inspecting Claire with a look of superiority despite having not having a vaguely advantageous position.

‘I’ll let you know. I am Yvonne, upcoming Pokémon Trainer and Coordinator of Justroad City, who’ll eventually bring everyone to their knees wishing to be acknowledged by me! I am here today because I was flying with Ellias with his Pidgeots, for he had promised to show me a sight that would take my breath away…’

‘… He flew off, ditching her in the most dangerous part of Infested Woods.’ Laurinda filled in, looking away and looking thoroughly tired. Didn’t look like Claire alone was taking on her energy right now.

‘Hmpf! He was obviously not worth my time!’ Yvonne declared, raising her chin and running a hand through her hair. Evidently, Laurinda had arrived in time to save her, given the lack of smudge or damage on her clothes and body. ‘So! The one who asks the question must also be prepared to answer it! Who are you, girl of red who’s manner of speaking slightly perturbs me?’

‘… You can talk while we’re walking. Come, Delphox.’ Laurinda stated, waving to Delphox, who nodded and started walking lifting her wand and looking into it, as they started walking back through the woods. That is, if Claire walked along. If she did, then Yvonne would. If Claire stayed for some reason, then Yvonne probably would, too, but that’d just result in Laurinda being done with you all and bringing you back a bit more forcibly. Not that you necessarily knew that.

Joshua and Ewan helped her out with the phone, ensuring that it went well enough to get their contact information exchanged and that she then knew how to use it to contact them should events occur. She’d also find that the numbers to all the other trainers that had received Pokédexes from Kalmia were in there, as well as to Kalmia herself.

‘Heh. The Gym, eh? Oooh, I heard some stories about that gym from back home when they heard I was becoming a Pokémon Trainer and was heading for Pureplain City.’ Joshua grinned. ‘But, perhaps it’s better that you find those parts out for yourself~’ He commented, though she could still ask and he’d answer, of course.

‘Well!’ Joshua smiled at the question. ‘I don’t have a strict destination. Thing is, I want to go both directions! Wet Caverns should contain interesting Water-type Pokémon as well as cave ones, they got to be cool, but Silent Forest is said to have fairies, among other things! I wonder if there are any cool fairies there?’ Joshua inquired to himself.

‘… So, we were planning on heading through Route 2, to Infested Woods and Wet Caverns on the way, and then loop back north through Stillwood Village, perhaps look at the Mountain Valley and Mt. Strength on the way, then dip south to the Silent Shrine and Forest before finally heading north through Rainrock City then finally to Redcoast City. That was the original plan.’ Ewan described, apparently they had planned this out ahead of time.

‘But! Plans can change on a whim!’ Joshua grinned, placing a hand on his headphones, just because.

‘…’ Laurinda looked at Amelia as she spoke, her eyes somewhat tired. Her question of who told Amelia went unanswered, which added another layer of silence on the woman. Finally, at the last question, she sighed.

‘Okay. Fine. Come with me, then. There’s no way you’re making it there on your own, and since I’m here anyway I’m unwilling to simply stand by and let you get poisoned. I don’t need that weight on my mind. Follow me.’

Laurinda said, her voice sounding more like she was giving in to an easier option, turning around to walk in roughly the direction of the ghosts, where Amelia had already been heading. She did not answer the question about if she was tired, but yes, she looked tired. If Amelia had any questions or just followed or wanted to chose her own path or some other thing, that’s her choice.

‘Why, of course!’ The female of the very energetic couple who ran the hutt stated, letting Lucian hand over his Pokémon to be healed, which they quickly were in exchange for the money. Meanwhile, the man of the two were taking care of some fainted bugs of a few bug-catchers. They were allowed to rest a bit, and then they were free to go again.

‘I saw that. You came out of True Infested Woods with a new partner, eh? Well done! Not all newcomers manage that! Haha!’ She stated, briefly making small talk before Lucian got going again. ‘Come back any time!’ He got a smile and a greeting, when he then got a new choice of what to do in this place.

Connected areas:
Route 2. Close, can easily get there without complication.
Wet Caverns. Requires a bit of a walk alongside the outer regions of the woods.

@Joshua Tamashii Alright. Nicely posted. That'll do.

@Pyromaniacwolf No worries about it. Though, honestly, just getting healed is such a minor action, you could probably fill in the next intended action after, too. Nicely posted.

I'll attempt to get a post up in 10 hours.
@Crossfire ... So, am I still aiming at a left leg? Or am I aiming at a tail?

*did not read the spoiler, it's against belief to read spoilers*
Amelie ran forward at them, though slowed down noting that they were still fighting. Most notably, she saw the young black-haired boy launched up into the air from a strike of the knight. He flew… and wasn’t coming back down as he should? It didn’t look like he was controlling his flight. In fact, he was flying straight towards one of those spheres. That didn’t look safe. There was no time to hesitate!

‘FLYING BOY! CURL INTO A BALL!’ Amelie called up to him quickly, running so that she’d be as close to him as possible before she acted, if she had the time for it. The girl took a deep breath and focused her powers. She reached up into the air with a hand, and in the direction Luca was flying she manifested a Redirection Orb.

So, she was simply going to redirect the movement of his flight so that Luca fell to the safe ground between herself and the knights. The more of him got inside the orb, the more complete her control of his movement would become, hence the command to curl up. If he was within five meters, then she could make the orb two meters in diameter, pretty safe. If he was within eight-and-a-half meters, she probably could make it one meter in diameter. Then at 10.75 meters, it would be but half a meter in diameter. Then it’d continue decreasing in size by half per half distance closer to twelve meters it got. Hopefully, her run had taken her close enough to Luca.

If the orb failed to redirect him enough, by any reason, she’d quickly drop it and try to create a new one before he impacted the sphere, if she had the time. And, if that also wasn’t enough, perhaps a third, and so on.

Amelie didn’t know if that sphere was actually dangerous, or if the flying person actually had abilities to save himself. If he did, she trusted him to use them. She just knew that she couldn’t possibly take the chance, since it was possible she was the only one who could save him now. She had never actually been in a situation where it felt like someone else’s life relied entirely on her power to be saved. It was really nerve-wrecking, yet she had no choice but to act.
@Pikmin Eye Teh-heh. That's a resolution. Alright. Nicely posted. The battle is on.

@Rune_Alchemist Might have had something to do with it~ ... Haha. Not entirely. But, anyways.

Calls her own butt cute. Hah. Takes a special kind of character. Anyways. You're first to four Pokémon, I believe. And, yupp, it did cross my mind that the situation over there might not have resolved, but you had a minutes long struggle with Lure, sooo... XD ... It evened out. Haha. Nicely posted.

@Delta44 Yupp. That works out. And... ah... you're asking where they're heading? You mean I have to actually map that out? I was just going to have their trip be completely mapped out by my whims of "wouldn't it be fun if this character appeared here"! XD ... But yes, they do have a plan. Haha. Anyways. Nicely posted.

@Eklispe Teh-heh. Yeah, whims do stuff like that. Anyway. These thoughts of Dawkin's amuses me. Nicely posted.
@Terminal ... Holding them in until the moment they're as most inconvenient sounds fun. XD

Edit: ... Ah, um. Let me save your life, there, Luca... How high up is he?
Tell me if I messed up somewhere, and I can edit. Hah.
Lataniva obviously knew it was Arex that was closest to her, because of his very distinct impact to her field of awareness. Regardless, she wasn’t about to show him an inch more respect than anyone else in the crew, and when he had been the closest to her when she had trouble with the comm-device, then so it was him that was commanded to help her out. Sandra also joined in here and there, teaching Lataniva how to use one of these. Okay. So press that button when intending on communicating, and wear it like this, and… The unnatural cause- and effect infuriated Lataniva, who didn’t get why pressing a button caused communications to happen. Regardless.

Sooner or later she had good enough a grip of it that she could use it… to a degree. She might fumble trying to press the right button, but she had an idea. She didn’t give any particular thanks for the help of those that had assisted here, merely a nod of acknowledgement, before she got herself ready.

Lataniva really had no objection to being scanned. However, she didn’t raise any particular objection to when Jack fired at Maxi’s robot. If they had problems with one another, that was their problem. She wasn’t about to take the role of a babysitter if the rest of the crew got themselves into arguments. More like, the less arguing that was being done, the better, but Lataniva was most certainly not going to get herself involved in any ongoing argumentation if she had no reason to. More like, the mere fact Jack had fired first made her less enthusiastic about being close to him while the attention was still on him.

When it was time to get ready. Lataniva sat down, waiting for the time to be unleashed. She closed her eyes, perfectly calm, letting the noises around her sound out before coming to a rest until the next amount of sounds. There were jolts, flashes and other things happening, one of which could very possibly be a beam from the station obliterating them and her life if something had gone wrong. Wasn’t really a concern to her. If it happened, it happened. Now it didn’t. Lataniva had no means to affect their odds during space-travel so, may as well stay extremely calm.

So, then after numerous shots and other things, the door finally opened. Lataniva was on her feet so quickly, it could have assumed she had used her own psionic telekinetic ability to propel herself, and such an assumption would be correct. She had already withdrawn her halberd from back and dashed right out the door, prepared for action. So… the comms said their first opponents were a bunch of security robots.

‘Tsk. Robots. They are not even alive. No instincts to assist them. Their kind could never hit me. They do not interest me.’
Lataniva complained with a raised chin glaring down the room. What on the hand DID interest her… were those fleeing miners.

‘So eager to run…’
She mumbled as she grabbed a knife and threw it in a single deft motion. Now, in addition to the force of her arm, she also applied her full telekinetic force to the knife, sending it flying unnaturally fast towards the slowest miner’s left leg, at the back of his knee. If Lataniva hit as she intended, her sharpened knife would pierce straight through his knee and he most certainly would not be running away from them no more. She needed at least one mind to read.

She then took off running in his direction, using her power of awareness to avoid the bot’s fire if they were firing at her, predicting where they’d be aiming before they fired and avoided the fire. That was her intention. After that, it was simply a matter of catching the miner she had intended on disabling.

@Crossfire
@Terminal On it. Despite my less than tip-top current mental state, on it. I'm under the impression Kael was a bit further away still, so I wrote it like that. And that run is just assuming I wasn't suddenly impaled and killed, if that's the case tell me, and I'll react correspondingly. Hahaha...
It seemed she had somehow made it out of that cloak of hers alive. She noticed how the gravity was acting all wrong, but didn’t know what to make of this. Amelie had some potential theories in her mind, but she kept those to herself right now. A more immediate concern was the fact that, due to having stumbled, she was perhaps among those that were the closest to the suddenly expanding mass of the limousine, even if she perhaps wasn’t all that close to it.

Still agitated and panicked from the near-death experience of the cloak, Amelie threw herself away from it while creating a Redirection Orb that she was jumping through, so that after landing and rolling a bit away she could turn and be ready for any more lances coming her way and hopefully redirect them through the orb if needed.

Assuming she wasn’t dead after that, Amelie then broke into a run to go join the others by the enemies they had hopefully been neutralized by then, because they seemed to be somewhat in the same situation and then perhaps they were her ticket to survival. Maybe. She kept a steady eye looking up at sphere while she did, just in case. The run would take a few seconds.

That is, she was running over to Donny (though he had gone over to a wall), Luca, Fortune and Andy, though she didn’t know their names. She wouldn’t reach them quite yet, though.
