Prioritized getting something out quickly. The italics is just Knight thinking, she's not saying anything. Then it'd have apostrophes and color. Anyways. There. Attack with the one projectile currently available to her.
Knight
Rosaline Buckner
The Circus

Knight got a distressed expression under her helmet as she received Ifrit’s message. The restraints weren’t done, she had no ammo.

The heck, Ifrit!? Didn’t I tell you that after I captured someone in my cage I’ll have limited-

-actually, did she tell him? Didn’t she make a point to never mention her weaknesses inside this building? Oh, oh well. Guess he was in a pretty desperate spot, too. Okay, so guess that in the end, she wasn’t COMPLETELY out of projectiles…

Cue Black Kaze, encased in Knight’s armor, was sent flying like a missile feet-first at Zabaniya from the angle closest to behind that Knight could get to, Knight adding a spin to the flight to make it a spinning kick if successfully impacted. Feet-first because that would hopefully hurt the woman inside less in the end.

As she sent that, Knight dashed after, intent to be in a position to assist potentially physically with armor and sword in case of an impact but Zabaniya wasn’t out yet. Her actions then would depend on the result of her projectile, which certainly would arrive before she did.
Oh, yikes. I didn’t write my entry with the Terminal treatment Someone TM that in mind. I was just writing casual-contest writing. Haha.

In the meantime, here’s my opinions. That are my own and I’m not any kind of authority.

Huh. I’m not allowed to vote. Okay...
... Eh, I was mildly bored.

@Pirouette "No matter the result resume digging", huh. If you hold true to that, I left what will happen in a hider at the end. I have this strange notion that might not be precisely what you'd be thinking of doing, though. Heh.

But what do I know? Maybe you keep going regardless. If you don't, the item I GMd up to be in there won't go away, it'll still be there if you continue digging later, heh.
@Pirouette

Smoochum noted them waving in the reflection, and without turning she made a tiny salute and a wink before turning and running back into the Frozen Cave tunnels.

Erika was afterwards excavating the Inkay she found. Inkay was gently melted out of the ice, and then Erika could take it out and held the cold Pokémon, the not-water Pokémon slowly warming in her grasp.

‘… Nkay…?’ It asked, looking up curiously as its eyes started working again, blinking and wiggling a little in Erika’s grasp.

As she was asking “you alright” a nearby miner noticed what she was doing, blinked a bit and raised his hand and voice towards her.

‘Eh, you might want to be careful there. Recently excavated Pokémon have a tendency to-’

‘I-INKAY!’ The Pokémon suddenly vanished in a flash, before a dark energy-beam (Foul Play) flew through Erika’s grasp, which actually was Inkay itself. The attack went in-between Erika’s arms and exited above her head, not actually hitting her but was quite close to doing so.

‘-attack,’ the miner finished with a grimace, a touch too late.

‘I-inkay-!’ The panicked Pokémon was now drifting through the air above and behind Erika, eyeing her and Chic with wide eyes. If left to be long enough, it’d start setting up Reflect-barriers.

Pokédex Entry #708 – Phantump, the Stump Pokémon. Said to be stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died lost in forests. Found mainly in lonely forests where humans don’t tread, they can lead humans astray with their eerie cries that imitate a human child’s. The leaves on its head are said to have healing properties.

Meanwhile, Amelia has seen both these Pokémon before, one is the most common Pokémon in town, but for the sake of consistency.

Pokédex Entry #172 – Pichu, the Tiny Mouse Pokémon. It can store electricity in its cheeks, but it's unstable, and may accidentally discharge upon startled or feeling other emotions that my cause it to lose focus. When playing with other Pichu, they touch tails and set off sparks as a test of courage.

Pokédex Entry #194 – Wooper, the Water Fish Pokémon. It lives in cold water, sleeping on the bottom and seeking food by the shore when it's cold. When walking above water, wild Woopers cover their bodies with a slimy, poisonous film that keeps them from dehydrating. It's slightly dull-witted.
@DarkwolfX37 *snicker* Perhaps. Mostly I was referring to how Eli's showing off the fact she's a monster-girl that doesn't have hands to the police, though.
@Ariamis ... Well, look who we have here. "Libby Bibby", huh. ... Considering the theme of our opponents, I wonder if I should be worried. Hah.

*posted* Yeah, that'll do. [@Everyone at the ship]. Do tell if I missed something or if I should react differently to something or if someone feels lonely for having nobody interact with them.

@BrokenPromise Mariette figured to open a portal on her own. Everyone else is just along for the ride until then, heh.

Edit: I'll mention that I'm acting under the assumption that the last paragraph of "The World" holds true, that common people do not remember unnatural things and we're relatively safe from divulging the world of magic. Otherwise, my characters wouldn't have reacted quite like that. Tell me immediately if I got that wrong. Heh.
Mariette
and Eli

So, recruitment turned out to be infuriating. Mariette had directed them from place to place, targeting those Magical Girls that were more likely to join… but they turned out to be cowards, the lot of them. Even when explained what kind of a threat Justine von Visceral was, and that this was perhaps their best shot at matching them, the cowardly Magical Girls desperately fled to protect their immortal existences. Hypocrites. Mariette was reminded of why she had worked alone and perhaps the hopes of Victoria Reales were impossible from the get-go, even without Justine’s interference.

Despite that, looked like they got a pretty good craft on their side. Mariette nodded, minutely proud of their groups accomplishment where she stood on the brow. Now all they had to was-

“Drop your weapons! Hands in the air!”

… Mariette gave the pitiful mortals the most heartbreakingly condescending glance she could possibly muster. Really, she didn’t have the time nor care to deal with the likes of them.

Eli, who had just returned from briefing Libby Bibby on the situation (or as much as the girl might possibly understand) looked towards the police-officers curiously, and then half-raised her fluid harpy-wings.

‘And, um, what if I don’t have hands? What do I do, then?’ She asked the police, half-amused.

‘This is beneath me,’ Mariette declared. A portal opened next to her, leading into the ship’s hull. ‘You all deal with them. I will open a portal for the ship to-’

Mid-step, the ship lurched, and Mariette found herself thrown rather than stepping into the portal. Inside the ship, it was only because of tentacles bracing her that she didn’t hit her head hard into a wall. Then the ship spun, and more tentacles were needed to brace her impacting another wall. Mariette grunted in the pain from the G-forces, being barely more sturdy than an average human.

‘Oh, you’re serious…’ For a moment, Mariette had assumed it was a cosmic joke of some kind. Amber? Is this revenge? Are you getting back at me? Did you choose now of all times to make life as difficult for me as possible?

Irritated, Mariette summoned Asengav’s mirror through a portal from an adjacent building. She needed to hold a small ritual to open a portal that big.

‘Tsk.’ She poured more magic from her mana-font in, placing the mirror against the wall. The horror-agent had to let go of her stuffed bunny and let a tentacle keep it safe while she used both her hands for this. She drew the horror’s markings around the mirror with her own tentacles, while at the same time bracing herself with a few more tentacles, holding herself in place as she gathered the considerable magical power to open such a portal.

Question right now was, where would she open it and where would it go?

Opened a portal directly to Amber, small one for talking.

‘I’m going to open a portal. I trust you to be able to control this contraption well enough that I don’t need to guess where I should open it?’ Mariette asked, a tone of irritation in her voice.

Meanwhile, Eli was-

‘W-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-waa-’ … Holding on for dear life onto the railing of the ship, making her body as sticky as she could, holding onto notebooks and pens and other things inside her fluid body as she did.
@Pirouette I was about to say. "Oh? You specifically needed a Dark/Psychic-type? How fortunate you are, then, because this is the only one that I can reasonably allow you to get in existence!" XD

Yeah, that's a nice post. Nicely posted. Now, for me to consider this from Inkay's perspective, heh.

@Joshua Tamashii Yeah, nicely posted. @Eklispe I do suddenly realize I have not been dropping Pokédex entries like I usually do every time you encounter one when you were talking to one another. I probably should do that. Eh, you can request it when you want to have it.

Anyways. Make it clear to me when you're moving and where you're moving to. Perhaps exchange a quick OOC post to confirm ("Route X?" "Sure.") if you're the slightest unsure. I'll have something ready for you wherever you go, heh.
Or now. Yeah, how about now.

@Pikmin Eye So, unlike in the games, you're not forced to go along with whatever NPCs feel like. You can do whatever you want, heh. ... But, yes, the woman in front of you does not entirely want you to do whatever you want, sooo...

@Rune_Alchemist And that's how that went. You're free to do whatever you like, now.

But hey, look, another bug-type. Don't you wanna- *shuts up*

@Eklispe I decided to amuse myself a bit. There you go. Also, since Pichu evolves by friendship, I'm gonna need to take that into account, heh. It'll get easier the higher level he is, though.

@Pirouette There ya go. If the mining style I wrote doesn't fit what you imagined then you can yell at me. Anyways, you found... something. Not a Dawn Stone, but, well, er, something? Hahaha.

I skipped writing Pokédex entries on some Pokémon you just passed by that belonged to miners, but if you want any you can simply request.
