If you don't want the battle to take too long, we could do quick-battle where you describe your strategy and I say what happens, or we could do short PMs back and forth at a faster rate and collab it until the Inkay situation is resolved, or if you're planning something else entirely then yeah, that's fine, too. How's it going?
@Eklispe Yupp, nicely posted. Noted later there were two more dangers the woman probably should mention. And, about the Ponytas. With perhaps the exception of baby-Pokémon, there shouldn't be too many cases where you cannot obtain the pre-evolved Pokémon because the parent is always somewhere nearby. Pokémon don't hang out with their parents all the way to evolution, mostly. There are exceptions, but except for Kangaskhan I don't think there are any on this route. Yeah, that'll do. Tell me if you want more info on the area or so.

While there were Ponytas young enough to need to chase after their parents, at some age parent and child separate and there’s plenty of Ponytas just roaming around, feeding off the grass of the plains, running around and just being wild Pokémon, no Rapidash in immediate vicinity. They formed small groups, as horses do, but some do get separated, possibly when they had to run from some Tauros or Pyroars. If Dawkin wants to, he can find one.
The immediate area is relatively safe, mostly because all the Tauros are being knocked out by that trainer’s Pokémon over there, but there ARE Bouffalants and Dodrios standing or running about here and there, watching their surroundings. Fletchlings are harder to see, because they’re smaller in the grass despite still having territories, but they’re rather pretty song is audible if you get close, which should be a sign of you’re probably close to being attacked by a bird.

I removed the "teleport doesn't work in caves" limitation. I don't feel it makes sense. Teleport can be used to teleport within a significantly short range within the user's awareness OR to a single spot the user has set up beforehand, which is usually the last Pokémon Center the Pokémon was at. Which is exactly where you end up.
How do I make town seem bigger, I wondered for a while. ... WITH PLENTY OF DISTRICTS AND IMAGES, OF COURSE! XD

Strength too, but I was slightly tired after having written *points upwards*, so Route 4 will do as your new Route. I shouldn't assume too much, anyway. Mt. Strength will be a fun write, heh.

You haven't done anything yet, so I can't write anything concrete, but since Dawkin suggested asking for advice, here's what happens if you DO ask the nearest most available woman for advice, haha.
Martin mentioned never having caught the woman’s name, and…
‘… You don’t need to know that,’ she replied, due to reasons that her name could be used to track her down and she doesn’t want that despite that the GM having leaked her name for an intimidating line. She saw no reason to reply to the rest Martin said. Then, as Martin had retrieved his Pokémon she simply made a gesture with her hand, and Xatu jumped forward to Martin, touching him with a wing.
‘Be mindful of where you wander in the future.’ With those parting words, the woman waved to him a little, though to her he’d simply been a minor obstacle to remove from her path. He’d suddenly feel like the world started spinning, all the sights around swirling around him, the caves blurring into black and white lines from the spin, and then…
The lights changed in tone, and suddenly the loud noises of chattering humans and distant music came to his ears, and buildings in a dark environment took shape. As he came to a stop, he found himself standing in front of a Pokémon City in an unfamiliar city. Lights of a big city were shining out advertisements, and the people around took no note to him teleporting in, it was a common occurrence. Factories stood in the distance, letting out smoke from whatever productions they were doing. But, most notable of all, it probably didn’t feel like he had actually left the cave, for above him something was still obscuring the sun.
Looking up, however, revealed that what was obscuring the sun was a city suspended above another city, and that made it clear that there was only a single place in Isson where he could possibly have found himself. In fact, depending on how much he has travelled in the past and which route he took to get to Pureplain City, he could very likely have passed through this city on the way.
Worldedge City
A rush of energy flows with the wind that breezes through the alleys of the city. Somehow, you feel lighter, like some strange weight has been taken from your shoulders. Looking up, tall, massive structures, structures seeming to defy gravity and common sense grows, stretching high into the sky and far down across the cliffs. The people look calm, focused on their duties and sprawling in their number, holding a vital position in all the businesses of Isson. The design of the streets are narrow, illogical and unstructured, feel like they would be easy to get lost in, yet it is as if you’re being guided by fate’s hand and you’ll arrive where you were intending to go. In the distance, always watching, the peaks of a distant mountain rises. You are now in Worldedge City.
Isson’s largest city. It grew into place at both sides of Mt. Edge as efforts were made to dig through the mountain and join the northern and southern landmasses, it was known as two different towns until the use of Abras as public transportation method within the city was widely adopted and the city grew to become known as one single entity. Widely accepted is the idea that a mystical energy of some form within Mt. Edge surges around the buildings, calling Psychic Pokémon towards the mountain and therefore the city. People living here have easier time feeling at ease with the world, and the laws of gravity doesn’t apply as they maybe should to the buildings around here. From this would Isson’s most successful city grow to be, at the place where two or more worlds connect. So was Worldedge City named.
It should be noted that being called a “Worldedge Resident” has some negative stigma attached to it. If you are one, you’re interpreted as a lazy individual who has it easier than the rest of the world, happiness coming naturally to you and you probably see yourself as superior to the rest of Isson, and you might not be entirely sane or yourself due to constant exposure to the energies of Mt. Edge. Of course, this is a stereotype that most people recognize and can see past, but there is no smoke without fire, so to say. There those who are very distrustful of the energies of Mt. Edge and would rather never subject themselves to it. These particular dislikes compounded and grew strong enough in some people that the Crossing was created just south of Worldedge City just so those individuals could get past without entering the city.
The city is comprised of six different districts. Three districts on each side of Mt. Edge, stapled on top of one another by the way of leaning on the cliff sides and mountain as well as giant pillars, taking advantage of the strange physics around Mt. Edge. Exits out of the city are on the middle districts of each side. Each district have their own Pokémon Center and Pokémart, but otherwise have their own unique features.
So, given that Martin has been moved halfway across Isson, here’s a world map to see where you are right now.
You’re where the south-west and north-east landmasses meet, Worldedge City. You went straight past the mountain range to the middle (somewhat to the right) of the map.
Specifically, Martin has found himself in the Industrial District of Southern Worldedge City.
Industrial District
There is no way this place can have screwed-up gravity and emotional influence without companies trying to use it for their own gains. The factories of Worldedge City are far below the Information District, down at water-level, where at the base of Mt. Edge countless machines tumble and toll for the continued success of man- and Pokémon-kind. Being below two other districts the Industrial District is naturally dark, even during the day, but countless lights shine it up and the workers do not mind one bit. They have their own marketplaces, their own little residences and they certainly earn enough to make their own lives when it comes to that. But, among the factories and warehouses are those that stand empty, and one might have to wonder what’s actually inside them sometimes.
Notable Places:
1. Factories. Produces everything from Pokédolls to furniture, and who-the-heck-knows. 2. Abandoned Factories. Produces everything from Grimers to street thugs, and who-the-heck-knows. 3. Warehouses. Storing items from factories, some more well-used than others. Some opens by keycards. 4. Request Center. A certain camp of individuals that can take your requests for Pokémon or items you want, and they might come back and provide them for you. Sounds easy, right? 5. Sketchy Entrances. … The heck are you doing down here? They hid these things down here for a REASON, normal people wouldn’t normally ever need to see them! 6. ???. Trigger a “random” event. Not sure why you’d be walking down here, but.
The following actions can be done regardless of where in Worldedge City you are.
1. Find Pokémon. Can still search for Pokémon in cities~ 2. Talk. In cities, there are considerably more people one can talk to. Talking can give you info on local rumors and such. 3. Exit. Exit the city to any of the connected areas. 350P if you need to Abra to the other side of Mt. Edge for it. 4. Specify. If you specify what you want to do, the GM will take it into account and tell the result. 5. Trigger random event. Force the GM to use his imagination to make a scenario for you. 6. Notable Places. Visit any of the places in the city! 6.1. Pokémon Center. Heal all your Pokémon. 6.2. PokéMart. Go to a store and buy things.also 6.3. Any of the notable places unique to the various districts. 7. Abra Teleport. 350P, and an Abra will teleport you to the other side of Mt. Edge.
Connected areas: Route 10. South of Worldedge. A farmland employing multiple psychic Pokémon from Mt. Edge to help with the crops. Route 13. West of Worldedge. A slightly disturbed route, which attracts electric Pokémon due to the proximity of the power plant. Mt. Edge. The mystical mountain at the heart of Worldedge’s unnatural existence. Few people actually cross its fabled tunnels, most just teleport past. Route 18. East of Worldedge. A calm stretch of land going from Worldedge to Witchpeak, part of the Allmass Cycling Circuit.
So, every so often there are tame Abras just sitting around. These are typically holding a sign saying where they can teleport you for a payment. They’ve been bred for this exact purpose, and they’re not available for capture. There ARE wild Abras around… but good luck finding one.
Pokédex Entry #63 – Abra, the Psi Pokémon. Due to the strain of Psychic powers, it needs to sleep for 18 hours a day. However, even asleep it can use its powers, which reads the minds of beings close-by and teleports instinctively if it finds someone hostile. Someone wishing to catch an Abra must clear their mind as they approach.
Behind some corners or just walking about are these yellow-brown creatures. Originally they just lived around Mt. Edge, but then a bunch of dreamers moved in and they felt no reason to move.
Pokédex Entry #96 – Drowzee, the Hypnosis Pokémon. It gains nourishment by consuming dreams. Fun or happy dreams are more delicious, and it can get a bad stomach from nightmares. In battle, it puts enemies to sleep and then eats their dreams. It remembers every dream it has eaten, and if you make friends with one it can show you its best dreams with psychic powers.
Occasionally, one of these drift through the air, looking as happy as a unicellular organism could possibly be.
Pokédex Entry #577 – Solosis, the Cell Pokémon. Their bodies are surrounded by a special liquid that protects them from any environment, no matter how dirty. When among its own kind it communicates telepathically, and should it be endangered it drives attackers away using strong psychic attacks.
The closer you get to Mt. Edge, the more frequently you’ll see one of these flying around. But, spend any time in Worldedge City and you’ll see them eventually.
Pokédex Entry #605 – Elgyem, the Celebral Pokémon. A mysterious Pokémon that only appeared around half-a-decade ago, theorized to be linked with a UFO said to have been seen crashing into the deserts of Unova. However, they appeared around Mt. Edge in Isson at around the same time. Usually friendly, they’re known to squeeze the brains of attackers with psychic power, causing terrible headaches.

While he is in the Industrial District, with some effort and elevators or Abras, Martin could easily reach the Middle or Higher Districts of Southern Worldedge City. He can find somewhere to read about the contents about the other districts and decide if he wants to head there.
Mystical District
The tip and top of Southern Worldedge City, here the power the mountain provides is enough for certain buildings to float in mid-air. Assisted by Psychic-Pokémon, the upper echelons of the city contains a significant price-tag for those who’d wish to live here and so filters the more common men to the levels below, yet there are activities that draw trainers up from the depths. First and foremost is the Pokémon Gym, floating above their heads, and also the Worldedge Floating Stadium, the largest and most amazing of the multiple stadiums in Worldedge City, where the most epic of battles in the city are fought and watched. Truly, these streets so high above the rest leave a certain impression as one walks here.
Notable Places:
1. Pokémon Gym. Worldedge City Gym. It’s one of those towers floating in mid-air… You need to fly to get there. 2. Worldedge Floating Stadium. Worldedge’s biggest stadium, floating over the city. Have Minor (level 25-minus), Middle (level 25-50) and Major (level 50-plus) cups. 3. The Villas of the Rich. Not that there’s much you could potentially do with them, but they’re here. 4. Orlando’s Spiritual Dojo. A dojo focused on discovering one’s spiritual self. Often takes trips into Mt. Edge. You can join an expedition for protection, or challenge them! 5. Marilyn’s Divination. Tell her where you’re going next, and she can divine your luck and what to look out for when there! 6. Gym Leader’s Home. … So, those who can’t get to the Gym themselves are sometimes known to wait for the leader here. It’s a little frowned upon.
Information District
No, they’re not exclusively witches around here.
A common and calm area of Worldedge City, this district attracts those who would fancy themselves scholars. They may seek to share their knowledge at the multiple cafés spread about, read up at the library, check into the museum or any number of things. There aren’t that many things here that would keep a Pokémon Trainer dawdling around for long, and most residents here are fine with that. It is still quite the spectacle, walking on the bridges between these pointy buildings, finding the streets and wondering how you're not lost yet in this maze of stairs and bridges, never touching the ground. Far above lies the Mystical District and there are plenty of stairs up, and down below is the Industrial District… It may feel a bit enclosed. Most notable in this area is most certainly the famous Professor Dunstan’s lab and residence, which he mostly leaves to his companions as he spends a lot of his time in the other lab in Raremine Town as well.
Notable Places:
1. Gossiping Cafés. If you want to hear the useful kind of gossip, sit in among the intellectuals. Ask and you may be surprised at how much you can learn! 2. Sir Know-Em-All. A famed Psychic. If you can think of a person, Sir Know-Em-All can tell you where to go to meet them! 3. Professor Dunstan’s Lab and Residence. A legendary researcher of Legendary Pokémon, do you have reason to seek his counsel? 4. World Library. With the backing of Professor Dunstan himself, this library has all the information you could possibly seek… probably. 5. Isson Museum. Don’t feel like travelling to all the corners of the world? Don’t need to, the museum has gathered up the noteworthy things from all its corners! 6. Move Tutor Mansion. A gathering-spot for those talented in teaching Pokémon moves they wouldn’t normally learn.
… Then there’s Mt. Edge, splitting the city in half, the ominous peaks having something unfriendly in their jagged shapes to deter any potential hiker wishing to take on its tunnels…
To reach the Northern Districts, Martin will need a teleport Abra or walk through the tunnels of Mt. Edge. But if he reads about them or teleports!
Residential District
On the absolute top of the northern districts, you’ll find the place in Worldedge City with the freshest air. While the building architecture still might require a raised eyebrow, the atmosphere is healthy and playful, many families making their life here on top of the Commercial and Entertainment districts, where they work. Schools and little parks for children to learn the ways of Pokémon exist, and there is nothing saying those older cannot use them too. The Little Cup stadium is here, allowing the children to watch and perhaps participate without straying too far from home. Yet, among these buildings live a few of the most noteworthy individuals in Isson. Like the rumored and powerful Crone, who has to be battled by a strong trainer every once in a while or she will stir up trouble, or like the empty mansion that supposedly belongs to the Champion…
Notable Places:
1. Practice Park. A little park in the residential district where children can catch low-level Pokémon and train for the real thing. 2. Pokémon Day Care. For people to leave their Pokémon while they’re doing something else. Some people don’t like PCs, so~ 3. Little Cup. A small stadium for battling. Levels 15 and lower, only. 4. Champion Estate. The Champion supposedly lives in this mansion here. It looks abandoned. 5. Creator’s Apartment. You instinctively know where this place is somehow, despite nothing advertising it. It’s visually an ordinary apartment. The door is open. 6. House of the Crone. Signs say “We appreciate people challenging her to keep her from being bored, but only if you are confident in your strength.”
Commercial District
Squeezed in-between the Residential District and the Entertainment District lies the Commercial District. It’s a long, winding corridor of tight buildings with many bridges and storefronts, and it all leads up to the Worldedge Department Store, the biggest Pokémart in Isson. If you somehow cannot find what you’re looking for there, then you’re probably all out of luck. It isn’t all there is here, however. Among the corridors is the House of Trades, where people can sit at computers and request trades with all other people that have ever been there, as well as the Psychic Train that uses certain teleporting abilities to achieve transportation to a distant town. Or, if those don’t reach where you want, you can just call a Freecape Ferryman and s/he’ll fly you there, assuming you have the cash. Also here, lies the store where the infamous inventor Russel sells his products. Perhaps, if you’re lucky, the fool’s things actually work for you? No guarantees, though!
Notable Places:
1. Worldedge Department Store. Products from all over Isson gather, right here. The largest store of Isson. 2. Worldedge Trade Station. A place where people can come trade Pokémon and items with people from all over! 3. Pokémon Groomer. For a price, you can have some professionals treat your Pokémon like royalty~! 4. Psychic Train. Runs along spiritual tracks to lead somewhere else in the world. The trips are one-way only. 4.1. Justroad City/Gentlevale City/Witchpeak City. 500P 4.2. Bigfjord City/Freecape Town/Raremine Town. 1000P 4.3. Redcoast City/Rainrock City/Pureplain City. 2000P 5. Freecape Ferrymen Phone. A phone linked to call a Freecape Ferryman, who can Fly you somewhere in the world for a considerable price. 6. Food Stands. Hot dogs to ice creams. Pretty good. 7. Inventor Russel’s Store. Russel, crazy inventor. Who knows what he might have for sale? He’s also known to give random stuff or quests to trainers passing by, giving them cash as incentive.
Entertainment District
In the depths of Northern Worldedge City, common sense goes out the window. Given all the buildings on top, few actual lights come down here even during the day, but all the blazing lights in this unnatural city-scape more than make up for it. Plenty of the skyscrapers holding up the Commercial District above have some form of advertisement, and each open door opens a new possible way to spend money in these depths of entertainment, probably with some form of Pokémon logo. Down here lies the most famous and populated Game Corner on Isson, where thousands of P are being wasted every day, and houses for unofficial Contests or Battles for money and prices are sanctioned and bet upon for the enjoyment of viewers and participants. It truly feels like if one never got bored, one would probably never run out of things to do down here… assuming the wallet didn’t run dry, that is.
Notable Places:
1. Worldedge Game Corner. Only play with as much you’re willing to spend! 2. Countless restaurants, stores, cinemas, show-houses, amusement-parks, whatevs. You can waste the rest of your money here, on whatever you want! 3. PokéMania! Do battle for the enjoyment of the viewers, and have sudden strange rules applied to every battle! Fancy prices~ 4. Contest Clarity. Forget all ranks, here we do contests for the show, and the show alone! Oh, and for cash prices~ 5. Deep Dark Depths of Worldedge. This city feels like it goes on forever! How far does it go…? 6. A place you’re too young to visit…
6 Great Balls and 3 Super Potions equate to 5700P. 5800 P with the umbrella.
Moving on. They went over a rock bridge over the southern Rainrock river and then went down some stairs into the wet forest south of Rainrock. And here, here it was definitely raining.
Route 3
Route 3 is partly covered by the Silent Forest, but a path has been made through the trees for people travelling by the northern path from Rainrock down to Highhill and onto Pureplain. It is a fairly decently travelled road, as it’s the main road from Pureplain to the other cities of Isson. But, that doesn’t change that it’s almost constantly under a heavy downpour from the many clouds known to gather in the routes around Rainrock City. The atmosphere is constantly damp, thanks to the rainy weather. Chances are large that Pokémon preferring a rainy day will be found in this route.
While there’s likely a road for vehicles, the route for travellers is much different. With the proximity to Highhill, there’s actually a fair amount of hills in the area, and the route goes up and down. The path itself is fenced in with wooden fences and stairs up and down the hills, following those would lead to a fairly easy traversal to Rainrock City. But, step outside, and you’re officially in Silent Forest. The path is mostly cobblestone and stairs. The trees are mostly green with leaves but some blossom in pink or stranger colors. And of course, plenty of Pokémon if you just stray slightly from the road.
Due to the high amounts of rain and vegetation, few people live on this route, and besides the route itself there’s little in the ways of civilization. Just a very long, very wet route, with two splits. One near Highhill Town going deeper into the forest to the Silent Shrine, and one close to Rainrock east for those heading to Route 4 and Mt. Strength or Stillwood Village. Regardless… the rain will feel like it ends very suddenly, in either of those directions. But it has been like that for so long, people have just accepted it. “It rains on Route 3”, “water is wet”. And so, reality continues.
“DON’T LET YOUR CHILDREN HOLD DRIFLOONS!” - Sign at the entrance of Route 3. … There may be Drifloons on this route, though none are immediately visible, Claire would find them if she started looking. There are some Bellsprouts just outside the fence just rooted there looking around, and some Shroomishes resting or moving about with frowns on their faces.
Pokédex Entry #69 – Bellsprout, the Flower Pokémon. A carnivorous plant, it traps and eats bugs to eat. It can root itself deep into the ground to drink, or uproot itself to move. It’s skinny body is extremely flexible to avoid attacks, and its speed with its Vine Whips at prey are said to be blindingly fast. It loves hot and humid places.
Pokédex Entry #285 – Shroomish, the Mushroom Pokémon. It lives deep in dark, damp forest where it eats the composted soil and fallen leaves. By day it remains still in the forest shade, by night it moves to eat. If it detects danger, it can spout highly toxic spores from the top of its head, strong enough to make trees wilt.
1. Find Pokémon. Feel free to specify searching for a specific kind, if so. 2. Train Pokémon. With this command, we can jump ahead in time and skip posting about grinding. 3. Seek trainers. There should be some here and there. Note, some may challenge you, regardless. 4. Talk. There’s some travellers traveling along the rainy route. They can be talked to. 5. Move along. Move along normally, letting any events that may come happen naturally. 6. Hurry along. Intentionally avoid confrontations and try to get safely to the next destination. 7. Specify. If you specify what you want to do, the GM will take it into account and tell the result. 8. Trigger random event. Force the GM to use his imagination to make a scenario for you. 9. Team Virtue members. There are currently Team Virtue members on Route 3. They likely won’t trouble anyone just being normal trainers, but they’re patrolling right now and it’s slightly notable.
Connected areas: Rainrock City. North of route. Route 4. Head east just before Rainrock. Silent Shrine. Head west just before Highhill, through the forest. Highhill Town. South of route. <technically, you could reach Silent Forest by just jumping off west, and Dragon Lake by just jumping off east, but those aren’t listed as proper “connected areas”>

If nothing on Route 3 are the slightest interesting, then Claire can simply follow Anise as she takes an immediate step left, and they could be off Route 3 in only a couple of steps. The rain finally clears, as they walk into a forest with a pleasant breeze.
Route 4
Route 4 is a pleasant stride through the forest known as Stillwood Forest, in which Stillwood Village dwells. Being at the base of Mt. Strength, the ground is decently uneven and you’re going to be going uphill as well as downhill and the beaten path isn’t even flat. But, it’s a pleasant forest where you’re unlikely to run into many problems. Being where it is, Route 4 has the unique little advantage that it gets a couple wild Pokémon from the surrounding forests AND a couple stray Mt. Strength dwellers that leak down onto Route 4, allowing some trainers that would never dare traverse the mountains at least have a taste of what kind of Pokémon they might expect up there. Maybe.
It should be noted, the inhabitants of Stillwood Village usually don’t tread very far from their village… but Route 4 is very much their route. There are Aroma Ladies aplenty around here, walking about on random walks through the forest just enjoying life, making the route decently populated by odd ladies that look like they might have inhaled a bit too many spores, given their wide smiles. But, otherwise, the route is as much a route as any other.
And here’s a couple of Pokémon. There and there in the ground stick out some plants, and Claire can identify them as Pokémon sleeping during the day using her Pokédex.
Pokédex Entry #43 – Oddish, the Weed Pokémon. During the day, Oddish finds nutrient-rich soil to sleep in and absorbs, specially preferring cold soil. When touched by the moonlight, it then pulls itself up and starts wandering, spreading its pollen and looking for a new place to sleep. If it is pulled up by an aggressor during the day, it shrieks out loudly.
Just lounging around are a couple of living rocks. One can reason that they’re among those that came rolling down Mt. Strength and then decided to stick around.
Pokédex Entry #74 – Geodude, the Rock Pokémon. Found in fields as well as mountains. They commonly rest, half-buried in the ground and indistinguishable from normal rocks. There are always way more Geodude around than a traveler will notice. Stepping on one by accident may trigger their rage.
Here and there are these spore-emitting walking mushroom-Pokémon that seem to be a favourite with the local Aroma Ladies.
Pokédex Entry #285 – Shroomish, the Mushroom Pokémon. It lives deep in dark, damp forest where it eats the composted soil and fallen leaves. By day it remains still in the forest shade, by night it moves to eat. If it detects danger, it can spout highly toxic spores from the top of its head, strong enough to make trees wilt.
Drifting among the trees are small, light Pokémon that are very happy that it is currently spring.
Pokédex Entry #187 – Hoppip, the Cottonweed Pokémon. Known to drift on winds, Hoppip is known to clutch to others of its kind to not be separated or to prevent being blown away. It is so light, even the gentlest breeze can lift it. When Hoppips gather, it is said spring is on the way.
And, lounging by a gate that appears to be leading to Mt. Strength, are a couple humanoid Fighting-types, either resting or practicing lifting rocks or so, just taking a break from otherwise tough Mt. Strength.
Pokédex Entry #66 – Machop, the Superpower Pokémon. A Machop is built up by a special muscle, which despite its size makes it stronger than 100 humans and will never tire no matter how much it strains itself. This combined with their general availability makes them a common choice for helping humans with manual labours.
‘Mt. Strength is just up here…’ Anise says, gesturing up a leaning forest-side. Claire could be there next post if nothing here distracted her.
So? Anything here that Claire wants to do or just onwards to Mt. Strength?
1. Find Pokémon. Can be specified what kind of Pokémon is being searched for, and how you search. 2. Train Pokémon. With this command, we can jump ahead in time and skip posting about grinding. 3. Seek trainers. Plenty of Aroma Ladies around, if you so desire. 4. Talk. They can also just be chatted to! 5. Move along. Move along normally, letting any events that may come happen naturally. 6. Hurry along. Intentionally avoid confrontations and try to get safely to the next destination. 7. Specify. If you specify what you want to do, the GM will take it into account and tell the result. 8. Trigger random event. Force the GM to use his imagination to make a scenario for you.
Connected areas: Route 3. To the west is the soaked forest route on which it always rains. Mt. Strength. A mighty mountain with perhaps equally mighty inhabitants, just north. Stillwood Village. East lies a calm village inside Stillwood Forest, many of its inhabitants clueless on the outside world.
Now, just because this is written does not mean it happens, but if they do as Dawkin suggests and go ask for advice with the one source of speech that is currently available, here is how it’ll go.
‘Oh, you want to know what to look out for?’ A woman handling the Rapidashes takes a break from work to listen. ‘Alright. If you mean crossing the plains on foot, it takes a while but is certainly doable, you just need to keep your eyes peeled for potential dangers, and try to avoid being distracted by danger A and walk into danger B, or C, D and E, for that matter. I’ll give you some tips.’ She takes a pause and considers what to say. She seems helpful enough.
‘Most dangerous of Route 6 are the Tauros herds. They will pick a fight if they see you, and their charges are extremely destructive and more than most trainers can handle. But, they only charge in straight lines and don’t stop until they have to. Avoid their charges, and they’ll leave you behind on their own.’ She nods, frowning a little thinking about them.
‘Next is Dodrios, Bouffalants and Fletchlings. Each of them is aggressive and will attack you if you get too close. Stay on a healthy distance. You should spot them on a distance and circle them. Bouffalants generally stop chasing when you flee, but a Dodrio might give chase for the hell of it, which is perhaps the hardest enemy to get off your back on Route 6. I’d suggest splitting up and hope the heads don’t agree on which of you to chase if that happens. You should be able to handle Fletchlings, though.’ So she says.
‘The rest of the inhabitants are either peaceful or at least not violent against humans. The bigger birds generally don’t care about humans and you don’t have to fear Kangaskhans or Pyroars assuming you don’t attack their young. Litleo’s might challenge you, but they’ll do so out of pride, fun and play rather than anything else.’ She then smirks, clapping the skin of the Rapidash next to her, who looks mostly unimpressed.
‘The Rapidashes are only dangerous if you intentionally get in their way. Speaking of which, by FAR the safest, fastest and most exciting way to cross the plains is ON a Rapidash, and these beasts of mine are more than capable of carrying two! How about it? I can sweeten the deal and give you a special offer of 1500P just for the two of you!’ She grins happily.
Thank you very much for reviewing. Now, lesse. Yeah, I'm aware my sentences need working on, heh. I am, though, quite worried about how you perceived that feeling of Charlotte's. The idea was that she felt that there was something inherently wrong with what she was doing, and started acting to avoid getting that feeling again by giving warnings, until it became too much and she "gave in". The first time she felt it, it was a nuisance, yeah, because she was a wannabe villain and feelings of "what I'm doing is wrong" should be left at home, which is why she was hoping it would get easier over time. ... Hm. I'll keep it in mind.
