@Dusksong So, uh. Having trouble replying or so? Do you need any help with anything?

@Pirouette I was kind of thinking that I didn't have much to write so you could reply to Rune directly. Was that wrong? Should I write something?
@Eklispe I came back online when I realized, you had said that. My apologies, I momentarily forgot. You can still wait if you like, but if it's to free you while you're travelling then I completely understand. Do what you feel is best for you. :)

Edit: And nicely posted. Contains all I needed, completely reasonable reaction, at a quick pace after the mention. At moments like this it really doesn't need to be longer. I do like thinking this roleplay is in advanced because it's advanced for the GM, haha.
@Eisenhorn That is a very nice post, giving us quite an understanding of what has been going on in Voss's life lately and his current actions. Nicely posted. Sorry I took some time to respond, I really wanted to comment on more than one post at a time.

@Rune_Alchemist Yupp, the class-names are correct, I'm happy you made that effort. Nicely posted. Heh, charging straight in, eh? Alright. Let's see where that leads.

@Eklispe@Apollosarcher@Pirouette So, it's been a while, now. How are you doing? When do you believe you can post? I'd very much like to know.
@Pikmin Eye Yupp, this is just a little stupid situation I felt like putting here. How will Martin react?

@Joshua Tamashii Heh. Acknowledged on the french in Kalos. I didn't really consider an in-universe location of Isson, perhaps I should have, oh, well. As for the second point... heh, I play more from the perspective of the games than from the anime, I'll note. That said, given what I just wrote, Double Team is somewhat less useful than in the games, so eh!

@Eklispe@Joshua Tamashii Anyways. You got a post. Have fun with that.

@Pikmin Eye

'Oh, um,' the relatively young man flinched a bit as Martin (younger) came up to him and started talking, the man quickly brushing his tears away and getting to his feet to look at him. 'Ah, thank you… but um…' he started, looking a little unsure, until asked to introduce himself.

'Ah, yes!' he straightened his back, smiled widely (still with tears in his eyes) and gestured proudly to himself, Togekiss happily flew to look pretty over his shoulder with a smile to match. 'I am Frans! I am the young master and son to the owner of the Private Palace, north-west of here! I don’t blame you if you’ve heard of me, I am actually quite an accomplished Pokémon combatant, frequently partaking in the Pokémon League competitions! This here is my proud partner, Parvati!'

'Toge!' Parvati the Togekiss rose and made a happy noise. … Then Frans’ smile faltered, and he looked a slight bit… mortified.

'… Yet, I have never actually caught a Pokémon myself. Even Parvati here was given to me in my youth, and even with all my strength I’ve never been able to prove I can handle the full experience of being a Pokémon Trainer.'

'Toge…' Parvati drifted closer to comfort her trainer, a little sad expression on the flying fairy’s face. Frans abscently patted her, looking at her gratefully before continuing.

'I don’t have any weaker Pokémon, and I suppose I could buy more expensive Pokéballs, but I don’t really want to. That’d just be taking advantage of my fortune again, wouldn’t it? I’ve already resolved to leave my other Pokémon other than my dear Parvati behind for now, so as to not hold on to my advantage too hard…' Frans sighed, before once more looking to Martin, Parvati floating behind him.

'I’ve been doing what I can, but it’s been difficult. Yeah, so, um. Sir Martin, if you have any suggestions on what I could do, I’d gladly hear them!'

That’s a situation. What’d Martin have to say to that?

Otherwise.

@Joshua Tamashii@Eklispe

Angelique turned and glared at the young man, her cold eyes and expression not changing the slightest throughout all which he said, though her gaze did not leave him. Then, however, she turned and started walking towards him, completely ignoring his Pokémon that shot beams of ice and jumped divided into many as she wandered. Drifblim took the Ice Beam, shuddering in damage but was not frozen, however the next Dark Pulse struck out from Greninja and Drifblim wavered, before collapsing together onto the ground, fainting and returning to Angelique’s Pokéball without her even acknowledging it. Cofagrigus just cackled, feeling nothing as the Double Team Greninja’s attacked it.

Angelique approached the young man until either something blocked her, she was a meter or so away from him glaring at close range, until he started backing away from her or until something other unexpected happened.

‘Shrouded shepherd, seasoned soldier on secluded soil. The moment’s misused, the extant engagement embryonic. To a greater goal will be given guidance. A favored felon stirs in the septentrional city, a contest copacetic for the crusade. Amongst atramentous architecture, an adversary awaits. The spectral savant of the triumphant tetrad testifies the trial, present particular pulverising postponed until the unworthy upholds legitimate labelling in the league,’ she spoke, looking at him, gaze held steady.

At that moment, Cofagrigus was done with what the coffin had been charging. The four hands slapped together, and cube-shaped blue shimmering walls rapidly expanded from it, quickly enveloping all within the expanse of the battlefield. Absol and Bisharp both suddenly felt their movements hampered, like an otherworldly force was keeping down their speed and mobility. Greninja felt like some monster was holding her down, only the slightest speed allowed from her like she had just quadrupled in weight. This, to any who recognized it, was Trick Room, where the fast move slow…

And Cofagrigus swooped forth with unimaginable speed, the previously excessively slow-moving ghost flashing forth, cackling as it approached Greninja.

‘COFAFAFAFAFAFA~!’ Having seen which Greninja had sent the Dark Pulse, Cofagrigus approached and charged a green ball of a move a Cofagrigus normally shouldn’t know, quite alike Trick Room. Basically regardless of Greninja’s attempt, she’d find the move she was trying to perform to be excessively slowed and couldn’t be performed before the sudden blast of Cofagrigus’ Energy Ball, the grass-type shot knocking the Greninja off her feet and into the air. Only because Cofagrigus was no grass-type did she make it out of that conscious, slight health remaining.

Except, before she even had time to be properly knocked back, the super-speeded Cofagrigus gripped her leg, Greninja’s balance pulled out from under her as she was suddenly thrown straight in the direction of Absol, who too had found his movements hampered trying to dodge. Though, the throw was not actually a Pokémon move, and as such they took minimal damage, it was simply Cofagrigus showing off its power, the blue walls of Trick Room shimmering around them, all while Angelique was staring at the young man knowing full well what was happening behind her. By Cofagrigus ability, Mummy, bandages had somehow appeared on contact binding loosely around Greninja repressing her ability but having no other effect, and in case of successful impact with Absol the same happened to him.

‘Stay in subjugation, striving sentinel,’ Angelique finished, before turning around and walking. She didn’t seem to have any intention of continuing the battle, simply walking off through the street, not stopping unless stopped by something. Cofagrigus still hovered there, however, grinning within the Trick Room which was granting it such magnificent speed. Unless any Pokémon moved to try to counter it, Cofagrigus wouldn’t move to attack, but it’d be quick to intercept any attempts to attack from “faster” Pokémon…

Of course, the explosion didn’t happen, so the young ones running off had not noticed any explosions.

So, having ran away a bit, Dawkin and Amelia noted there were actually a few individuals that had been waiting, just out of sight, staying at a healthy range from Angelique. Adult men standing behind corners on edge with Pokéballs at the ready like they were preparing for potential conflict, tense with the knowledge that if she did something they probably wouldn’t stand a chance. Behind one of the corners in the front was a girl in a long black dress, with long pink/purple hair, standing with a black snake curled up head raised behind her.

The group spared a look at them, looked to the girl like she was in command of them, and she made dismissive gesture which resulted in them all merely looking past them at the conflict that was actually out of their sight, assumingly listening for bad sounds. Didn’t seem like they considered the current situation terrible enough to actually interfere.

What would those present do?
Mariette
and Eli

Mariette had simply intended to grab that projectile and send it somewhere else. However… it was far, far more powerful than she had initially estimated. Hearing that laughter and suddenly recalling what had happened back then, Mariette’s visible eye widened as she realized what kind of power she was dealing with. … Which only made it that much more important that this attack did not hit her current allies. Geesh, and she was already strained. She noted the predicament which the girls on the Bastion was facing, and could but hope they would be able to handle themselves. Right now, it was imperative this sun bomb did not hit.

The Reflective Witch called upon her powers as Curie sent her ball of massive power forth. Through the hand-mirror still in her hand, she charged her magic, widening a great portal before the sun bomb, redirecting it at Doris. There was enormous strain as the portal took damage from the mere proximity to this massive energy, and Mariette fought to maintain it. She called on the Mana Font which Asengav had given her, letting the river of magical power flow within and power her portal-

-And then the Mana Font promptly dried out.

Mariette jolted like a physical blow had been struck against her, deep within. It was what it felt like. All the dependency on the Mana Font to draw power suddenly struck back against her, and the spell instead struck power directly from Mariette’s force of life, as how the Blood Magic of Asengav’s champions worked. Regardless, she had to maintain the portal for a bit longer, even as it sucked on her internals… and there it was through, and the portal whiffed out, and Mariette gasped. She was… completely empty.

‘… Well, this is terrible,’ she commented before almost collapsing, but Eli showed up at her side and caught her. Then, the splash of Bastion’s descent into water flowed past them in large waves, but Eli held onto them both and ensured they’d hold off the flow. Left alone, it was Mariette gasping in Eli’s grip.

She had either completely drained her Mana Font, or Asengav had closed it. Given what had happened very recently, both were possible.

‘… Okay, now I’m out of tricks,’ Mariette complained, holding onto Eli.

‘They’re going to need you to get back, mistress,’ Eli informed her, looking a bit worried.

‘… Ghk, guess that means I need to stay alive,’ Mariette frowned, looking over the scene. ‘We’re not getting over the lake.’

‘No, we aren’t, mistress,’ Eli confirmed.

‘… We’re waiting, I suppose.’ They were certainly not heading down into the dungeon when she was drained, and neither were they heading into the lake-battle. ‘Pick up the mirror, it’s our only escape-route, now.’

‘Yes, mistress,’ Eli confirmed, letting Mariette slowly steady herself on her own legs while the harpy went over and picked up Asengav’s mirror. The girl was very calm and collected, almost like she felt everything would be fine, far less troubled than Mariette felt. The mistress briefly eyed her enlightened servant, noting that it appeared she had overcome whatever was ailing her. … A bonus from the previous altercation, she supposed. Good, because Mariette was going to need Eli at her best if something bad happened now.

Mariette looked over the rather terrible battle-scene, unable to affect it due to being out of mana. It wasn’t in Mariette’s nature to trust others, but right now she was drained. Because of Blood Magic, she had a last reservoir in the shape of her own life force, but because of her frail form she had very little of that. She was going to save that for the escape, but that escape was meaningless if Sonia was after her, as even with Eli in this state it was meaningless against someone who wielded their bane with such efficiency.

‘… Well, then,’ Mariette sighed, sitting down to rest for now and looked out over the ongoing battle. ‘Guess my life is in your hands, now, girls and boy. Have fun with that.’
@Eklispe "Advancing" away from the enemy? Isn't that contradictory? ... EH! XD

Nicely posted, and a reasonable reaction. Alright. Let's see what happens.

@Pikmin Eye Teh-heh. Alright, you're talking to him. Makes me happy. Nicely posted. Alright, let's see if you've got a solution for this.

@Joshua Tamashii I see that talking is a free action, right now, saying all that while Drifblim was going to explode. Very well, then I'll have Angelique follow the same rules, because it amuses me. XD

Not sure saying "sensei" entirely makes sense, while all of Pokémon is Japanese-inspired I'm not sure any part of any translation actually references those kind of sayings. OH, WELL! It's not actually a problem, so it's fine!

Anyways. Nicely posted. Greninja is using two moves, so I'll have the opponent be able to reply in turn. Let's see how this goes. Teh-heh.
This was a bit rushed, so I apologize for any mistakes that might have slipped through. Anyways, there it is.
The group of mercenaries before them suddenly cowered as a wyvern blew past them, the Soldier raising his head just in time to witness Kergin’s head smashing into him. The soldier scrambled onto the ground, and was easily finished as Isolde brought down her heavy halberd, splitting the Soldier’s armour.

Reina dashed at the Fighter, who readied his axe to strike back. He swung to hurt her first, but with her automatic reactions Reina dodged beneath it and then stabbed forward, her sword sinking into his chest and the man coughed out in pain… Except then he glared angrily at her, and lifted his axe high to strike her in spite while she was stuck to him and-!

And a dark shadowy shape surged from the ground and punched through his upper chest in what Reina’d recognize as the dark magic Flux, cast by Aldo behind her, who focused on their foe with a focused stare, one hand clutching the magic tome and the other held forth. The Fighter whited out, and fell back off Reina’s sword. Now, Fighters are known for being tough, so it was reasonable that it’d take two strikes to take him out.

Marwood rode forth on straight ahead at the Mercenary, who’s eyes widened and he tried to focus on just not being run through, and relatively succeeded. Dodging his chest out of the way, Marwood only succeeded in a decently shallow cut, but still definitely enough to cause pain. Having no wish to fight them alone, the Mercenary turned his back and ran, trying to rejoin the larger force to stand a better chance, but could be run down by the mounted members of the group.

The Grado Knight stumbled back from his encounter, running into Titania, who put her staff to help him. The Knight turned his helmeted head to look at them.

‘Ah… You came… to help… I’m so… relieved…’ … But he had suffered too grevious wounds. Staves only help up until a certain point, and it was too late for this man. He slumped over, not to move again.

‘Is everyone holding up?’ Aldo asked, looking about and analyzing them, more for the fact they were fighting real humans and not just monsters. It could be quite a shock for some, he had read. ‘We had the advantage of surprise and thanks to this Knight. Next time might not be as easy,’ Aldo cautioned, frowning ahead.

‘Sir! There’s fighting going on by the stairs!’

‘Gah! Some Grado forces trying for an escape!?’ Morag reasoned, glaring down the corridor where the sound of the brief battle indeed came.

‘You’d best be running. Only death awaits you if you linger,’ Romilda said, but was almost immediately interrupted.

‘Shut up!’ Morag glared over at her before turning to his remaining forces. ‘Bar the way! Kill any that approach! When I get Romilda out, we run for it!’ Morag barked, and the other men moved to follow his command. Meanwhile, Morag turned towards the cell-door, lifting his sword.

‘Hmpf, you’re going to try brute force? These bars are created to-’ Romilda mocked him, but Morag yet thrusted. A loud clang echoes as the sword crashed into the lock, and… it budged. Just the slightest, but there was a bend, promising continued effect. Morag quickly lifted the sword away and grinned.

‘I feel it. I just need to make sure I don’t touch it for too long. How old are these cells, heh? Ready to fall apart?’ Morag asked, pleased with himself. Romilda sat still and didn’t answer, because “over 300 years with grounding possibly destabilized by the great earthquake” wasn’t the most comforting answer. Morag lifted the sword again, intent on continuing.

‘Let’s see which breaks first, shall we? My will, or this lock…’

And so, the sounds of a weapon crashing into a metal lock sounded out behind the battlelines.

@Pirouette@Apollosarcher Alright, nicely posted. Took a while, but nicely posted. Each of you are attacking one target, and the healer is healing the knight. I can work with this.

That said, I may have trouble posting today or tomorrow. Will make an effort if I can, however.
