Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

It would seem that Aika wanted to say something more but the President seemed to want their attention. She smiled at Aika and gave a nod before scurrying to take her proper seat. As Mitsuko continued to speak, she resigned to leaning back on her chair. Mitsuko sounded irritated. Well, she guessed that having the classroom start to boom with interaction when they were only asked to introduce themselves was quite annoying... Oh well, sorry prez. So apparently there were two reasons for this club. The first one was so they could discuss the occult itself. And it was intelligent discussion where it's just some people forcing their beliefs on another. She can appreciate that but she guessed she won't be able to participate all that much on that matter.

The second one was much more up her alley. Okay maybe interacting with said occult things weren't her area of expertise but running around and 'speaking' with them fits her much more than having debates about whether they're real or not. Hearing about how they'll be looking for a supposed weak ghost on the Halloween Extravaganza. This made her grin. While she wasn't exactly a huge believer on the whole supernatural thing, a little exploration of the school grounds at night seemed like a wonderful idea. They always say that places look different at night. She wondered if the school was the same. The latest she's been here was until the clubs were out. Looked like they were staying a little bit past that. Her eyes shifted to the papers behind her on the table. Waivers huh? Well, she guessed she had to let her parents know somewhat even at her age.

And now, the questions began.

Ai was the first one to speak up, questioning how Mitsuko was measuring the so-called spiritual output. Hm, now that she mentioned it, how did Mitsuko do it? And how were they sure it was accurate... or if it existed at all. And then Yoshi was up, preaching about something. She claimed that what Mitsuko thinks is a ghost is a demon, as ghosts do not exist... or something like that. She was citing some lines from the bible, Yuki assumed, considering she had the holy book out and all. As Yoshi continued to ramble on about her beliefs, Yuki raised her right leg so it was on the chair and leaned her head there so she could continue looking at the Christian devotee. Huh, sounded more like her trying to convert everyone to following this Lord she was talking about. Yuki had a wild feeling it wouldn't work on everyone.

Then Yoshi sat down and continued conversation with Ai. With that done, she changed the position of her head so her chin was resting on her knee as she looked at Mitsuko. She raised her hand for a bit and when Mitsuko's eyes were on her, she would begin to speak but it doesn't seem like she had any intention of standing up. "I'm only just wondering... if we supposedly meet a ghost, and that's a pretty big if, what would you do? And if there are supernatural forces, or demons as Yoshi claimed, do you have any protection in your arsenal that could help us?" This was all on the off chance that ghosts and everything supernatural was actually real. She was quite curious on what kind of precautions she had since she does believe in the occult. Certainly she knows that there are dangerous supernatural beings out there.

Akemi woke up with a start. Another dream? No, another nightmare. Two years had passed since the incident but her mind just couldn't help but drift to how she died. Her hand clutched the fabric over her chest as she breathed in and out to calm her heart. She was safe now... or well, relatively safer. With the new powers that had come along with being reincarnated as an angel, she was fairly sure she could protect herself from harm... somewhat. Though she had to admit, the other members of the peerage were crazy strong compared to her. It always bothered her how they were leagues ahead of her. She was bothered in a sense that she was falling behind and might eventually become useless and Camael might not even see her as a unit anymore and then... was it possible to take the card embedded in them? If it was, then it was completely possible that he would abandon her sooner or later!

"That's no good way to start your day Akemi!" She said before slapping both of her cheeks so she could psyche herself up. Camael was too nice to do something like that after all. She opened up the curtains to her room to let the sunlight flood in... that was until she realized that it was too early in the morning. She didn't feel like she wanted to go to sleep either. Hm, maybe it would be better to head to the office now and maybe make some coffee and tea for everyone as they arrive. Yup! That sounds like a great idea! She quickly took a bath and put on her usual clothing of some jacket and jeans. It was pretty cold out there to be honest because it was so early in the morning so she made sure to cover herself up. She took her knapsack and then headed out.

She shivered as she stepped outside - the crisp and cold morning air blew against her, seeping through her clothing. She had to hurry up. Akemi had decided to not take up residence in the office for personal reasons. Well, the office wasn't really too far from where she had taken up residence. It wasn't too far from her old home either where her parents were staying at so she could contact them any time. Akemi briskly walked through the empty streets. It was too early in the morning for people to be up and about and that was good for her. She wanted to just fly there so she could get there faster but she couldn't risk being seen by humans. Who knows what might happen when they see her with white wings spread out. Come to think of it, what would they think if the say her friends with their wings out? They looked a lot more majestic with the amount of wings they had after all. Her thoughts were disturbed by the vibration of her phone. She took it out and read the message. Oh, it was just some advertisement.

However, another thing caught her attention. It was Tuesday. Camael's day. Her now most hated time of the week. Of course, not because she hated Camael or anything. In fact, she really respects him! However, whenever it was Tuesday, it was always training day. While she was alright with being helped with offensive attacks and even mock group battles, she really hated being forced to fight on a one on one battle. She had to rely on her own strength for that one. And she had literally no confidence in her offensive capabilities. Maybe she could still run away? Maybe call in sick? Or tell them that her parents had called for her to meet her again! It wasn't the entire truth but it wasn't a lie either. Her parents always wanted to see her after all. Unfortunately for her, it seems that it was already too late for that as she had already arrived at the entrance of the office.

Akemi let out a dejected sigh as she entered. Her hands were tightly gripped on the straps of her knapsack. Upon entering, she could immediately feel Camael's presence within the office. Well, what else would she expect? However, instead of going straight to him, she went up first to the room where the Altar was located. She knelt down and then clasped her hands together and muttered a prayer. For the past two years, she had gotten used to this position thanks to her power. But this was different. This was not to ask for the protection and strength - this was only to merely thank for another day and to pray for the souls that had perished. She had quickly finished up her prayer and then she headed straight to the Main Hall.

There, she saw Camael and only him. Were the others not here yet? She may have gotten up a tad bit too early. With a smile, she greeted him. "Good morning Camael. It's a nice day isn't it?" She then paused, her hands now clasped behind her. There was no use worrying about that training now. She had no escape anyway so might as well proceed normally. "Would you like me to prepare some tea and coffee for the others?" She asked, offering her services like she always did everyday for the duration of her becoming an angel. It was the least she could do for them. After all, they've kept up with her for this long so she always felt obligated to do something for them, even if it was only a small act such as this.

Yuki chuckled. "Yeah it is. It's like taking an insecurity and twisting it into a good thing yeah?" Well, that was what exactly happened in Yuki's case after all. After a childhood of bullying because of her appearance, this seems like more of a dream come true. A time where she was able to freely joke about it with minimal ridicule. Her childhood is now just a distant memory of a bad time long past. Heck, it now just seems like a nightmare she dreamed of every night for the first ten years of her life. It was amazing how vastly different society is between her hometown and this place.

However, she couldn't help but melt into those old days. Her right hand unconsciously gripped her necktie and her look became distant. Insults, isolation - a completely different scene from right now. If her parents didn't decide to move, her interaction right now would probably go downhill. The worst people to talk to back then were the popular kids. Ha, now that she thought about it. It was funny. They were all just children but the bullying was still there. Well, that's what she gets for being different in a traditional type of town. Well, even if she, herself, didn't choose to look like that.

She was thankfully pulled out of her thoughts by Aika questioning further. She finally noticed how tightly she was gripping her necktie so she let go and placed it in her pockets. She scratched her cheek with her left hand. "Well, yeah, I get asked out by some guys and girls... usually the latter really." She let out a chuckle. "And I'm actually interested in both genders so it's fine by me. But of course I tell them the truth about my gender first before I answer them, to make sure that they actually want to date me. It'd be horrible of me to lead them on that I'm what they think I am you know?" She then placed her left hand on the chair she was leaning on. "After that, I give them time if they're okay with that."

Hopefully that answers her question. Aika was an interesting one for sure. She only had a few people question about this kind of thing. It usually ended after the 'it's up to you what gender I am' and then lead to another topic. Yuki was glad she decided to talk to her. She looked back momentarily to see how Iria was doing. Oh, Seiko joined in on the conversation! She was glad that Iria was making more friends by the minute. That was good! Besides, they all look like they were having fun (in her eyes at least). She'd have to talk to Iria later to see if it really did go well. But it was without a doubt that the interaction was going to be good for her. Once done observing them, she looked back at Aika.

Kenji turned to look at the door with his hand still outstretched towards Nora while holding the vest. Djeserit has entered the fray. He gave her a small bow of his head, something he does out of respect for the other. When she had offered her own gym clothing, Kenji almost retracted his hand thinking that the blonde girl would take Djeserit's offer. However, she had taken it gratefully. Once she had taken the vest, he began walking to the kitchen to make some tea. As he waited for the water to heat up, he leaned on the counter while looking at the group.

Kohana entered next, handing some papers to the King and asking to go out. Well, he was pretty sure King wouldn't let the Fox Queen go just yet. The delinquent spoke up, taunting Tsumiki or something along those lines and then Siegfried just walked out after proclaiming that he was heading to his shooting range. Kenji gave him a small wave. Saying 'good luck' wouldn't really bode well for him considering Siegfried's attitude. He turned his head back at the King when he started speaking.

Ryuunosuke was the delinquent's name? Good to know. So Fox Queen was still on watch duty. Looked like she was rearing to go back home. Well, too bad for her. After her, he was addressed next. He let out a hum as he was ordered to see how Argos was doing on his job. It had something to do with that card right? The one about the robbery. "Got it King." Time to find where Argos is now. He gave Tsumiki a smile, "Emphasis on 'trying'." He then chuckled after saying that. Before he went out, however, he had placed the tea pot and two cups on a tray before heading over to the table. He placed the tray on it, poured two cups and then offered it both to Nora and Djeserit. "I'll say it in advance, welcome to the peerage. Looks like I'll tell my name later on." He told the blonde. Once they both took the cups from him, he would leave.

Once outside, he saw a small black figure flying towards the club. He tilted his head to the side. A black figure? As it grew nearer, whatever it was had become identifiable. Oh. It was a bat. A bat? At this time? It could have only meant one thing. It must have been one of Argos's pets. The bat descended and stopped momentarily after him, as if inspecting him. Kenji saw the letter in its clutches. "A letter from Argos?" He muttered to himself before holding his hand out. The bat should recognize him as one of the members of the peerage.

After another moment, the bat dropped the letter into his open hand. The blonde haired Fallen Angel opened the letter to read its contents. So he was going to see if anyone would be snooping around two days before the grand theft? What Argos wanted to do was detailed in this letter. Huh, how oddly convenient for him. He closed the letter, turned around and entered the premises once more. For a lazy person like him, this was the best thing ever. Ah, but perhaps Tsumiki would still ask him to go look for Argos?

He approached the desk where the King was working. "Argos sent a letter for you about his stake out." He then placed the letter on the desk. "Looks like you didn't need to send me after all." He then looked at the amount of paperwork he had to do. "Organizing some sort of welcome for a new member, dealing with some usual everyday drama, writing reports and completing obligatory paperwork for the school. Another busy day for you huh?" Honestly, he was impressed with how the King has been able to handle all of this. For such a young guy, he does take on a lot of responsibilities. Guess that's because he's part of a big named devil family.

Yuki smiled at her reason. Now that was unusual but it doesn't really matter. At least it looks like it's helping her and she will be enjoying it. "That's a pretty unique reason. Swimming is good for exercise too you know. Arguably better than running, some say." She mused. She wasn't much for finding out what was better for one's health but when you spend a lot of time with other athletes, you start to pick up a lot of things. "It's just as competitive as running too. But I shouldn't really be convincing you to join another club huh?" She gave her a lazy grin alongside her statements.

She laughed alongside Aika as she mentioned that. Of course it would eventually fall to this subject. It always did. Doesn't bother her though. "Oh yeah, I get that a lot. Wherever I go you know? Everyone I meet, they ask the question and then have their own conclusions." Yuki replied as she leaned on the empty chair adjacent to her. A smirk played on her lips as she continued, "Probably doesn't help when I don't answer them properly." She then chuckled. Yuki just loved it when they don't get it right but are convinced they did. Being her classmate was enough for one to know what she truly is as when PE rolls in... well, changing in the right changing room is a must. "But you know, it's up to you whether I'm a guy or a girl. Doesn't bother me either way." She said with a shrug.

Her reasoning was common enough. Somewhere deep inside, Yuki was hoping for a... rarer reason but she guessed that she was just expecting too much. Oh well, disappointing but at least Aika seemed to be willing to continue to conversation. "Well, you gotta admit, not a lot of people are interested in the whole occult thing. But joining clubs is a lot better with friends so I can't blame you for keeping in touch." She said with a shrug. She was lucky enough that Iria wanted to join up too. While she doesn't mind being alone in a room full of strangers [and that reporter] but it was way more fun if she had friends with her.

Upon hearing about the Track team, her eyes practically lit up. This usually happened when someone mentions anything sports related when they're around her. She let out a light chuckle once Aika finished her statement. "I like joining a lot of games since it's fun and helps clear the mind when you're thinking of a lot of things you know? Fame's just a bonus." She wasn't about to deny the fact that she was pretty famous because of her involvement in practically all the athletic clubs. She knew that much was true. You would really come to notice when they start asking you to join some practice games.

She then shook her head. "Ah but it seems you know about me a lot more than I know about you. Track Team huh? Never pegged you for a runner, no offense intended." Considering how she acted, Yuki never thought of her as the runner type. At least that's what she noticed from her own classmates who had personalities like Aika. Guess it was never good to generalize. "So are you into competitive running or just running for exercise and clearing the mind?"
@Hammerman

That's perfect.
Hm, my other phone which I use for posts ran out of battery so I won't be able to reply right now...

And she kind of walked away...

@Hammerman

Take the question for me bro! I think Iria would be familiar with Yuki's response to those questions.

Yuki was entirely clueless on just how Seiko affected her friend. She also did not know that they were in the same position - having some less than desirable pictures with Seiko. However, Iria didn't mention anything so she remained blissfully unaware. Once Iria was up and heading towards Ena, she followed close behind.

Quite opposite to Iria's care in tone, Yuki just greeted her with the usual energy she usually gave. "Heya Ena, Yuki here. Pleased to meet 'ya." She then gave her a small bow to show respect. However, it didn't seem like Yuki was intent on joining their conversation as she had her attention on another person in the group.

In one swift motion, she walked towards Aika, unaware of how she was spinning theories about all of them. If she's going to start befriending people, she'll have to start with a person she would have trouble getting to know. "Yo Aika. Asahiro Yuki, pleased to meet you. Thought you might have missed my name since you looked so intent on whatever you were doing on your phone." She said while pointing at the mobile device. After that, however, she opened her palm and was now asking for a shake. "What's got you so preoccupied?" Her tone was one of simple curiosity and the question was asked for simple conversation. It wasn't like she was frustrated with her not listening. In fact, she didn't mind at all.
