Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Was waiting on Dusty, but I'll post soon if they're not going to.

General Luna

Luna let out a sigh when the man tucked tail and ran. The soldiers seemed to only move at his command so now that he left, they simply let the prisoners go. Luna cannot express just how relieved she was that it didn't end in bloodshed. She turned to the prisoners. "Do you need any help to-" She was cut off when the Ortusians fled the scene - hurrying over to out of the town and presumably back to their kingdom. She let out another sigh, but this was out of exasperation. No signs of gratitude or even signs of giving this town a chance.

She looked over to Shade, Emma and the new girl - Yuzu. So she's from Hoshido too huh? It didn't look like they knew each other so Luna let it slide. It's not exactly something she should worry about. Since they seem to be exchanging pleasantries, and Luna wasn't too keen in dealing with some of the townsfolk who were going to ask some questions, she immediately turned to them and gave a bow. "My name's Luna. You see, there was this meeting at Dragonrage Pass between the League of Arcadia and the Dwarves." She looked down for a moment before looking at her again. "Unfortunately, everything went downhill for some unknown reason. Now there's a war between the Dwarves and the League. I assume the man was blaming the Ortusians because they were one of the few who would benefit from such a war considering that they're the only ones not present."

Rick let out a light laugh. "Drip, I always hope I'm right." The Monferno stretched his limbs as he leaned back. There was something about the kid that tickled his funny bone, but it wasn't anything bad per se, so he wasn't too wary of him. Though Drip's suspicions on the kid seemed to be a lot, which was kind of worrying. But oh well oh well, really doesn't matter now.

Rick shrugged. "Apparently, this one has a reason." He then took a bite of his sandwich once again, propping his elbow onto the table in front of them and placing his head on it. "Real shame to, seeing as the Swords of Justice are going to be staying for a while because of the recent disturbances."

Gabriel trailed behind the orc, occasionally looking around - stuck in a state of perpetual unease. He wasn't exactly sure why he felt like this. Maybe it's because this place was unfamiliar to him. Maybe it's because of the spell the witch did earlier. Maybe it's because he didn't know the people here as much as he'd like. There were many factors in this current situation that would make a normal person feel like this - but Gabriel was supposed to be used to this. Instead, he felt like he was going on his first excavation. This brought a frown to his face, even if it was just for a moment.

They reached catacombs and his immediate reaction was to wave the air in front of him. Burning wood? From the look of the area around the entrance, it seems like the wood that was being burnt earlier was there. Good thing it had already extinguished. But... why? Thought that really was the permanent question of the day huh? Why something happened? Why them? Why Nadska? Gabriel hated questions with no answers, but thankfully, this question may just actually have one. But it lies within the catacombs.

He looked at Corc when he mentioned the gems changing color, and indeed, the gems embedded within the obelisks were constantly changing color. Gabriel gave the orc a smile and said, "Nah, I'm seeing it too. And I'm pretty sure I haven't drunk a lot." As Corc advanced to the entrance to the catacombs, Gabriel stayed for a while - watching the gems change color. There was no pattern. They just kept changing but the colors never matched one another. An inquisitive look took over his face as he continued watching, waiting. If this is going to be the reason as to why the stone doors were locked, then something must have been buried here that was of importance.

He felt a tingle down his spine - an ominous feeling decided to make its presence known like it was pouring a bucket of ice cold water onto him. Cautiously, Gabriel turned his head to the treeline and all around them. But he didn't see anybody. Could there actually be something guarding the ruins? Well, from how Nona described it, it was highly likely. But then, what could it be? Could it sense their magical signature thanks to Nona's spell earlier which caused them to emit the aura for everything that was magically sensitive to see? That didn't sit well for him, but they have to do what they have to do.

Gabriel nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard Corc yell - snapping him out of his thoughts. He turned to the orc who tried to smash open the stone doors. Gabriel doubted it would work, but somewhere in him, he wanted it to. It would make their lives a whole lot easier.
@Forgiveness

Aw, well, it happens. Good luck with your personal matters man, hope to see you some time again.
I am as well.

The GM... uh... perhaps he got busy with school?
Alrighty, I'll get on it later.
@Dusty

That could work. It'll be fun since it'll be unpredictable.
Since we're going to play mercenaries in The Abandoned, do we get free reign in whether or not they were from the original, or from the two kingdoms?
Mhm, sure. I'd like to see where this goes.
