Tank found the door to the bottom kicked in conveniently. "Cool," he deadpanned as he continued on as fast as his legs could carry him. He was no hero or climber, but he was fit and fast, making it up the first few floors with only a few grunts and two bruises on his arms. The fire escape across the window was a real bitch, though. "Shit..." he muttered. He'd rather not remember the details of that window maneuver he performed, and it got him a bruised ribcage and a cut across his scalp from an out-thrust plank. Still, after he'd made it to the ladder without wetting himself, he ascended the last few floors and hauled himself atop the roof.

He dusted himself off, taking some small splinters out of his hair. "Greg," he said with a nod to his fellow Detective. Tank thought his colleague was an alright guy, which was high praise coming from him. He saw Jeremy handing his fellow detective the Shell casings. He gave him a nod too. "Indy. You guys have been busy." he said, walking along the roof and gazing about with a practiced eye. Tank put his foot on the small concrete parapet along the edge and gazed down at the crowed below. He whistled and stuck a toothpick in his mouth. From what he could tell as he walked along, there'd been some kind of struggle up here. But that could perhaps be disputed. He needed to think.

The next stream of thoughts happened in a matter of moments. Suicide or murder? Well the scene behind points to murder, and it's something he had to concur with. But if it was a suicide, then why would Danica not just shoot herself and then be done with it? The only reason he could see of her killing herself in a way to fall onto the Block Party would be a cry for attention. Admittedly, that was why most committed suicide. But then why not just jump? Other than the quick and painless use of a gun.

Colin nodded. "Lookin' forward to it" he said sincerely. "Commando sounds better anyway. Name suits you."
"This one is that girl Alex and the scout who's failed to tell me his name thus far." he heard from the side, and held up a finger. "Hold on a moment, Alex." he said before turning to Private Hexner real quick. "Sorry 'bout that. I'm Colin Nelson-"
"Excuse me, I don't mean to interrupt but, Colin you said your name was, right? I was just curious if you had any idea on why we've been called here. I was never told why, just to report here as soon as possible."
"Right." Colin said, his mind moving a mile a minute. "Just here as new recruits for this squad for an assault on Vasel I think. Did I get that right?" His last question was aimed at Alex Glaive.

Calanon gave a small smile at Gretchin as the caravan began once again. She seemed amiable and endearing in a few ways. At the very least, she could have been much worse. Everyone else here could have been, he realized. He was glad Sona and Satilla were fine as well. The Elf sighed as he walked along, his hand on his Elk's side, comfortingly. Brogach snorted and trudged along. The day was wet and dreary, but nothing he wasn't used to. Nature and all of its working was to be admired, and this day was like any other.

"So, mind telling me about yourself?" he heard Cyneburg ask, and he turned to look her way. He gave a smile. "I don't mind." he replied. "I was a Waywatcher, and apart of the Wood Elven ranger Corps for many years. I met Brogach patrolling around a village I used to call home." Calanon gave Brogach a trusting look. "He and I have been traveling for quite some time now. Until we found the Orcs tracks, which led us here." He wasn't going to tell of his curse unless it directly effected the party, or if he grew to know them better. And he was no sure if he would stick around for more than a few days and a tavern visit on a nice bed.

The City in the Sea: New Anathagos [Fantasy politics! Intrigue! Sea Monsters! Pirates & More!]

Ok, it's settled. I'll make a Holy Military order of Crusaders who are selling their swords for worthy causes and healing/feeding the poor and sick. In this world of morally ambiguous factions, we shall be a beacon in the light.
Also, I love the idea of monster hunting pirates so much that they'll be friends of @The Survivor Steel Sail Hunting Co. for a reason that has yet to be determined. :P

Well tbh, about every RP I am in but this one (and maybe 2 others) almost requires me to have color coded posts, and while it adds flavor, if it's required, it gets fairly annoying in choosing which fits your character. What I mean is, I vote no on mandatory, but I'm used to it so I'll go that route if need be.
