Reggie

Reggie laid down on the ground for awhile, not wanting to move a muscle, when the orange giant from before came in, saying something about another gem being injured. Reggie got himself up, worried but not saying anything in response. He didn't know much about gem's, but from what he could tell, whoever it was wasn't damaged so they should be okay. Emerald came in a bit later, asking for an update, but Reggie merely shrugged his shoulders before making his way over to the door that led to the rooms, knocking on it to see if he could get the attention of it's occupants. He didn't say anything, just waited for a response from anyone.

Caelus cursed in his head as he heard someone exclaim from the deck, pressing himself down in an attempt to avoid detection. However, it was a failed effort as he looked up to give a nervous grin to the Kitsune woman who addressed him, any confidence he had disappearing as she took his own threat away from him. Okay, threatening the ship won't work in this instance, do that only leaves me with one option. . .

Caelus bolted from his hiding place, making a bullrush through the confines if the ship, causing a wall of ethereal black and blue flames behind him with a step to halt the chase of his pursuer, only for it to die down after 5 seconds. In that time, he would make it to and lock himself in one of the restrooms on the boat. As he held the door closed, he began to think of how this was certainly not one of his smartest moves, but what could he say, he was panicking and this seemed like the best option. It's not like he could just tell them what he was after, as they could be looking for the very same thing for all he knew.

Okay, just gotta keep then out of the bathroom until we arrive or get close enough for me to fly there myself. Should be easy enough. . . right?

"Like I said, it's no problem," Argus said to assuage the girl's worries, standing up slowly once she had gotten on his back and following her directions as she gave them. His pace was slow due to the added wait, but he was fine with that. He hardly ever took the time to walk, it just wasn't part of his nature, but taking the time to just enjoy the sights of the city was nice as well. As people passed by he'd give a nod and a grin of greeting to them, and while most did not seem overly pleased or comfortable by it, a few did return the favor, which did a lot to adde a little more pep in his step. While they walked, Argus decided that he might as well talk to his new little friend, lest the walk become awkward or boring due to the silence.

"So Isla, which is a very pretty name by the way, do you have any hobbies other than painting? Oh, and would you be willing to do a portrait of me tomorrow, if you're feeling up to it that is. I've never had my portrait done before, so I'd be very grateful, but if you don't want to I'll understand."

Argus would then engage in some more small talk, simply enjoying the conversation an company before they finally made it to her apartment. If he had been a more suspicious individual, he might've said something about how her home seemed nicer than she had described. Fortunately for Isla, Argus was not one to focus on details when it comes to helping people out, and even if he did notice, it wouldn't have made him do anything more than shrug. Once he was inside her apartment, he put the paintings down, laying them against a wall, before setting Isla down on one of the pieces of furniture, either a chair or a couch, before taking a seat himself. "So, do you have any ideas as to where this woman who cursed your leg may be? While I'm sure we can find a healer, it'd probably be best to see if she could be . . . persuaded to lift the curse. I that doesn't work, then we'll try something else, yeah?"

@Leslie Hallcool, my first gaming experience was Halo on the Xbox, but my favorite games are usually some form of RPG, though Borderlands and Halo will always have a place in my heart. Never played any of the Final Fabtasy games, but I've played one or two JRPG's in my time. Other than that, I can say I'vr kinda been slacking on my gaming ever since I've gotten into RP'ing, though with a Ps4 on the way, that's likely to change.

You have any games you regret playing? For me, it has to be Destiny, it wasn't bad, but the story and content was just bad. I refuse to believe that was the game Bungie wanted to release and that Activision is the only reason why they basically sold you the story through DLC. _{Year two release my ass}

@Leslie HallOkay, so on another note, do you play many video games, and if so, which ones? I'm always hearing that Australia is very heavy on censorship, as well as out right banning certain games.

@VitaVitaARThe blood-sucking thing was to avoid tracking and was a random idea that popped into my head. Him bringing out shields was something I wanted to use mainly for making him more maneuverable as I realized that his current skill set needed some more defenses. So it was either make his homunculus body a lot more durable, make the resistance spell more powerful, or pull our aims more inventive uses for the pocket dimensions. I understand the concern, but all it really does us give him some better manuverability, some defenses against mundane weaponry that isn't very likely up be an issue in a Mage war like this(only reason he isn't dead right now is because of reflexes and enhanced senses), and enabling him to take himself out of the game for a bit to keep from getting attack during the night.

Is there anything else about the use of this power that concerns you that I might have missed?

@KronshiI haven't posted because A) stuck on my device for posting at the moment, which slows my ability to post by a lot and makes me less likely to post a lot per day, and I've hit a block for Reggie right now.
