I have a question to throw in here . . . would anyone be interested in helping me start up a reboot for a Medieval Pokemon RP that I was in a while back. The itch for this kind of thing has hit me something fiercely, and I would like to restart it, but know that my GM credentials are rather shit.

@Vongola_Hasayo New Spell Idea: Twilight God's Domain: This spell is an AOE support and Defense spell that creates a Dome of energy with a diameter of up to 5 meters around the user, using either Darkness or Light depending on who uses it. The dome is fairly resilient to most spells, bears a weakness to spells of its elemental opposite, and bears the ability to absorb it's element in order to sustain and strengthen itself when need be. Also, while inside the dome, anyone considered a friend will maintain the ability to see and will receive a slight increase to either magic reserves(Dark Domain) or Magical Attack power(Light Domain) that lasts for about 2 posts. The dome can blocks magical attacks an offensive magic that is activated outside it, but enemies can enter the domain of their own free will, though they will become blinded upon doing so for as long as they remain inside of it, and for a few seconds after exiting. That being said, the foe can still use their magic inside of the dome, and one could AOE attack would be likely to break it up from the inside, as the resilience doesn't work for people on the inside of the dome. Any attack made from inside of the dome that is either magical in nature or is somehow affected or enhanced by magic will break it upon making contact and will continue through with little impediment.

Due to the power of this spell, it is a fair bit draining, and will take about one post to charge up the needed magical energy to use. Also, if the user attempts to exit the dome, the dome will immediately disperse. Also, the dome lasts for about 3 posts in a neutral environment, 5 in a favorable environment, and 2 in a unfavorable environment.

@Vongola_Hasayo I know that having too many spells was the problem in my previous post, but as I look things over, I kinda want to give Ky a movement ability and Xae a defensive one, as their spell list aren't actually that large once they're to Light and Dark separated( this is especially true for Xae)

Personality:: Most people would label Akane as a stone-cold bitch, and they'd be pretty on the mark with that assessment. Akane doesn't believe in being sweet, demure, or even pleasant around most people, making sure that everyone nows where they stand when they approach her. She does show respect to those who have earned it, such as her guildmaster and Phoebe, but to most others she's aloof at best to what they have to say, and down-right hostile to those who have earned her ire, like Umiko and Goldas, just as likely to try and cut them into as she is to greet them with a disgusted glare, especially the former. She isn't one who makes friends, but to those whose presence she tolerates, she is . . . an interesting person to be around, always speaking her mind and never suffering for lying of any sort. If you're bad at something,s he'll tell you that to your face, but will follow it up with tips on how to improve and what needs work. SHe's never mean for the sake of being mean, they'll always be a reason for her behavior.

However, underneath her rough exterior, there is a rather tortured and stressed soul. Akane has always been under the impression that she needs to be the very best that she an be, and that she can never show even a smidgen of weakness, not even when it may be self-destructive to keep up such a facade. This makes it so that she loathes going to doctors or getting any forms of assistance from anyone, as she finds it an insult to her pride and will often do her best to refuse such support. Akane also suffers from a rather extreme case of schizophrenia, which causes her to see things that aren't there and hear voices whispering into her ears. This condition only got worse after the stress of her father's death and the betrayal of her siblings both leaving her all by herself. When mixed with the influence of her Mark of the Twin Dragons, she had to resort to taking medications to suppress the voices and visions to a state where she can still function. The fact that she even has this condition is a secret held by only her, her father, and the clan healer who prescribes the medicine she takes. To everyone else, she tells them that she's just taking some dietary supplements or some other such throw away explanation.

History:: Akane's life has always been a struggle against her own shortcomings and feelings of mediocrity. Her father and mother were both great people, and her father was an especially great fighter, his strength inspiring her to follow in his footsteps, training with him as soon as she was able. However, two things caused her to feel less than worthy of being her father's heir: her condition, which even at a tender young age was something she was ashamed of, and her mark. The mark she wished she had been born with were those of her Father, that of the Sea and Sky dragons, but instead she was born into the world with the rarest, possibly most powerful, and definitely most dangerous marks that had ever existed: The Marks of Chaos and Destruction. The Dragons loop all across her body, the purple and greens of Chaos melding strangely with the black and red of Destruction until they both stoped with mouths open in challenges on her forearms, seeming ready to bite down all attacks that dared to face them. This marks, while offering great destructive power, also had the reputation of driving most of those who wielded them insane, the dark forces at play with in them ripping their mind to shreds until they finally couldn't take it any more and ended their own lives. Thus, this mark has another name within the Shimuza clan: The marks of Death and Despair.

However, even with these obstacles in her way, she forged ahead, her father's encouraging presence helping her along until, along with her new little sister, she seemed to have almost conquered the demons inside of her. However, her mother's death at the hands of her brother put the first chink in her mental defenses. At that moment, when she looked upon her mother's cold form, then turned to look at what they'd gotten in exchange, she felt something cold and unpleasant settle in her stomach, and the voices began to whisper again, pushing her to commit unspeakable deeds upon her mother's infantile killer. But she resisted, and took in her new sibling with love and caring. In those days, she was kinder . . . happier . . . more at peace with herself and the world around her. However, as they years went by, Akane noticed that her father seemed to spend more and more time with his son, leaving her along as she got older and older, even being slightly neglectful in favor of this last child. She knew that she should be understanding of this, cause unlike
her, him and her little sister would grow up without a mother . . . but that cold feeling in her stomach, which had never gone away, only became heavier as time past. ANd so the years would go, her resentment for her youngest sibling growing larger and larger behind the smile and loving nature she showed to him.

She didn't want to feel this way, she wanted to love her brother unconditionally, wanted to have their family be together, wanted to feel safe with those around her. But the voices never stopped whispering, the dragons seeming to slowly but surely move across her frame, their coils tightening around her neck as they sought for the right moment to strike. In the end, the final straw that broke her facade was the day, soon after her father's death, when her brother told her that he was going to Golem's Hand. . . that he was leaving, not only with the Shimizu mark and their father's sword, but at a time when they needed to stay together more than ever. Their father was dead and he wanted to leave the family, heading over to their sworn rivals. In this moment, as the anger surged into her veins, so to did the voices and visions. For a second, she could see nothing but darkness, soon followed by a cacophony of screaming voices as her emotions and sickness took hold of her, screaming out all of her feelings, thoughts, and truths out at the boy before her. She told him that she had always hated him, that he had taken her mother, had stolen away her father, and was now trying to run off with everything he had stolen from this family like the cowardly wretch he was. He probably returned words of his own, but she was too enraged to hear them. In that moment, they both drew their blades and clashed with each other, with Akane summoning her dragons for the first time. In the middle of the day, all that could be heard coming from their compound was the sound of explosions, clashing steel, and rage. Soon, her brother was ran off, his face forever scarred with the mark of her blade, and his place in the household revoked from him. As far as Akane was concerned at the moment, her brother had never existed, and that the man known as Umiko was a blight upon the Shimuza name.

After that day, her sister followed in the blight's footsteps, leaving Akane by herself, with her family shattered into pieces too small to even be seen. Ever since, she has been consumed by her guilt, hatred, and despair, though you'd never tell by looking at her. She has completely closed herself from all other people, never forming any close bonds with others and taking on her new persona as an attempt to fend off more pain.

Magic

Magic Name:: Mystic Smith Magic
Description:: This magic allows the user to recreate any weapon they may have come across and ability it may have, aslong as they're able to memorize it's structure via saturating the weapon in their magical energy. It can also be used to alter said weapon, though usually such alterations will weaken the blade in some way. For Example, by making a sword that is able to catch on fire to launch said fire, it may loose out a bit in durability,it's own cutting power, or the power of the flames being launched. ALso, any swords that are made in this fashion are able to be telekinetically moved and wielded by the user, as well as summoned at a moment's noticed while manifested if the user has been disarmed in some way. Let it be noted that the weapons are ranked in power from E-S, and that the stronger the weapon, the longer it takes to memorize its structure, and the more costly it is to make, limiting how many of such a weapon can be made, as well as how fast such a weapon can be formed. Also, once a weapon is made, it's as real as the weapon it's based on, and thus can't be dispelled or canceled out once it's been fully manifested.

Regular Sword(E): It's just a regular sword, though it's finely crafted, and has no other special abilities.

Dragon's Breath(B): A great-sword shaped like the head of a dragon, with the center of the blade holding a barrel-esque opening that allows for it's special abilty to activate. There is a flame Lacrima implanted in the hilt, and when activated, it blows out a stream of fire through the barrel, making the great-sword double as a flame thrower, as well as doubling the weapons effective range.

Chain-blade(D): This blade is filled with many special lacrima that allow the intersecting bits to hold steady when the blade is in it's normal form, but on a command, they release their hold in order to let it whip out, making it a very versatile weapon.

Magic Name:Twin Marks of the Dragon: Chaos and Destruction
Description:Unlike her siblings, Akane has access to both of her dragons, being able to wield both of them at once if she wanted to, though such an action wouldn't be very advisable. The dragon of destruction increases her strength and magical potency, as well as serving as a form of barrier due to the fact that the magic that forms the dragon is exceptionally focused and dense, enabling it to barrel through most obstacles as well as beating down on foes. Chaos, on the other hand, is more of a fluid and destabilizing force, breaking up enemy attacks and devouring the left over ethernano in order to grow in size and power. The chaos dragon also exerts a form of disorientation on those nearby, altering their perception of their environment so that up seems like down, left seems like right, and chocolate tastes like vanilla, as well as any other number of ways, though Akane has no control over the type of effect the dragon's presence will have once manifested. However, powerful as these dragons are, they have a heavy toll on the user's mind, especially on Akane. The voices and visions get even more intense and harder to ignore or dismiss as things seem to become increasingly real and frightening to her. It can get to the point where she can just breakdown into a gibbering mess, curling up into a ball as she covers her ears, closes her eyes, and tries to ride out the chaos until the dragon's decide to leave her be, because also unlike her siblings, she has no control over her dragons. In fact, it's more like they have all of the control over her.

Personal Information

Personality:: Ky is usually quite tame and silent. He hardly talks much, and communicates mostly through gestures, body language, and(if he's stayed in one place long enough) a form of sign language that is relatively simple to learn the basics of. He refers to keep to himself rather than intermingle with others most of the time, but when the occasions calls for it, he can stand to be around most people, though if some gets to be too annoying he tends to leave soon after. His views on the world, at least from what most people can understand of them, are very pessimistic, as he believes that humanity in general is doomed to drive itself head long into it's own destruction . . . but that being said, he's also not one to stand idly by complaining about it. He'll do anything he feels he's able to do in order to save another person, and has even risked his own life to do so on more than one occasion. When asked why he does so much, he replies that how can he expect the world to get any better if he doesn't expend the effort to make it so in the first place.

His other half, Xaesos(or Xae), is much more talkative and sociable than Ky, when he makes an appearance, that is. Xae loves to stick his nose where it doesn't belong, eavesdropping on conversations or talking with servants in order to get the latest in guild and town gossip, mostly because Ky never talks to anyone, so he has to make the most of his time whenever he does gain control. Like Ky, he loves to help people, and is very open about it, but he also tends to go overboard in his attempts. One such instance is when he used high level magics to bring down a purse thief, or break a magical artifact to keep it out of the wrong hands, even if such actions were unnecessary. Another thing about Xae is that he's a bit gullible and highly impulsive, never being one to look before he leaps into whatever danger he's confronted with.

History::
Ky belonged to a village of forest dwellers who worship gods of the Light and Darkness, Good and Evil, etc, etc. They believe that for every positive force in the world, their must be a negative one to counter-act it, and vice versa, less the world fall out of balance and be destroyed. To symbolize this ongoing struggle, the forest dwellers had separated themselves into two groups and fought in a series of wars, switching the mantles of the Darkness and the Light every few decades as they battle and battle.

One day, however, an unthinkable event happened. A child was born between the two sides, something forbidden by the old rites, and yet, despite this blasphemy, he was born with powerful magic. Light and darkness melded around him to form a shadowy twilight, a fusion of Light and Darkness that had never before been seen by either tribe. Many took it as a omen that the constant warfare they did in service to their god may not be the way thins are meant to be . . . while others held on to their old ways of war and battle and saw the infant as the spawn of Chaos and something to be cast out . . . or killed.

Over the next 9 years, the child grew, learning much and exhibiting more strange abilities that grew stronger as time passed, but in the depth of one dark night, the child was taken, stolen by a follower of the old ways and sent faraway from his forest home through the work of a spell. And through that spell, he was scent to the footsteps of Golem's Hand, a scared child with no where to go, no one to turn to. Luckly for him, he was taken in and cared for, and when his magic was discovered, he was trained greatly in it's use as a powerful tool to help others. However, he'll never forget his family and his old tribe, and still longs for the day that he can once again be reunited with them.

Magic

Magic Name:: Twilight God Slayer
Description:: A strange magic that he has possessed since birth, Ky and Xae both possess one half of the Twilight Godslayer magic, with Ky possessing the highly offensive powers of Light, shining in black radiance to show case its slightly darkened taint, and Xae holding wielding the powers of Darkness, which hide hide him in the faintest of shadows and haunts his foes with vestiges of their own inner fears and demons/

Ky, like any other Slayer, is capable of absorbing his element to refill his magical energy and cure him of fatigue. He's also quite fast and powerful, thought this is balanced out by him having lesser defenses. He's at his most powerful during the day, when the sun is shining on him, which further increases his abilities by feeding him power directly, but is very much weakened when trapped in a place the has little to no light, as the darkness overwhelms him. Xae, like Ky, can eat his element to gain strength and stamina, and is at his strongest during the night and under the cover of darkness. While he suffers a weakness to intense lights, things like moonlight or low lights to not drain on him much, if at all. He's also a much more balanced fighter, able to fight both offensively and defensively with equal levels of skill, though this isn't as impressive as it sounds, as he hardly gets as much time to practice as he'd like, and thus is still inexperienced when it comes to combat.

Ky and Xae can switch places whenever they want, but in order to do so, they must be able to meditate for a short amount of time, like around 10-15 seconds(a post or two) in order to do so, making it very ill-advised to perform this during a fight, especially when fighting an opponent on their own.

Twilight God's Bellow: Basic Slayer Breath attack

Twilight God's Fist: Basic Slayer melee attack

Twilight God's Pulse: Sends out a shockwave of light/darkness in order to push enemy's away. Low damage, but has a lot of force behind, making it very difficult to resist getting blown off one's feet

Twilight God's Shining Spear: A piercing beam of light, this is an enhanced version of the Bellow Attack, focusing it's power into a long-range beam that has heighten piercing potential and can leave some pretty nasty burns. Can also be used to break through barriers, and has an added effect of wiping away illusions that may be cast on the target on a hit or near miss..

Twilight God's Veil: A spell that either cloak the user in shadows or bends light around them, hiding their presence with great efficiency. However, the moment they move to attack some one, or make any sudden movements, the effects of the spell will be broken, instantly revealing them.

Twilight God's Blinding Gaze: A blast of light coming from the user's eyes, it has a wide area of effect, blinding anyone who gets caught by it for about 2 posts.

Twilight God's Haze of Nightmares: The user breathes out a thick black fog that obscures the vision of those that the user deems an enemy.

Twilight God's Radiant Sun: Ky focuses a large amount of energy into his hand, before launching it into the air above him, where it'll soon burst into a ball of harsh light, brightening up an area, as well as canceling out any illusionary magics that may be in the area.

Twilight God's Burning Retribution: Coats the user in burning light that's solid as steal, enabling them to take more damage, as well as allowing them to deal more damage with their physical attacks.

Twilight God's Radiant/Umbral Shield: This spell creates a barrier made of either light or shadow, depending on the user, that defensive power is dependent on whether it's in an area that aligns with it's element and how much energy the user feeds into it.

Secret Arts:
Twilight God's Secret Art: Hyperion Blaze: This attack by far the most powerful attack that Ky has, and is one he'll only use when he means to end someone's life. This spell begins with Ky activating it with the code phrase: "The light shines brightest in the darkness when it has nothing left to fear, for it is in fear that darkness gains it's strength." Ky then proceeds to absorb the magical energy from light around him in a charge up process that takes about 4 posts. As time goes on, his magical energy, physical strength, and speed will continue to increase until either the spell is completed or he is defeated. If the charge up is completed, Ky is completely cloaked in radiant darkness, which glows with such brightness that it's hard to look at him directly and gives off an very large amount of heat, so much show that it's likely to blister skin if one gets too close. He then gathers all of this energy into his palm before firing it at his foe in a highly concentrated beam. It'll tear across the ground at an extremely high speed, ripping the ground apart and practically severely burning anything that gets within 5 feet of it, due to the immense amount of heat contained with in the beam. The attack is than followed up by a sphere dark radiance following the line of the beam near the attack, slamming into the target and exploding in a large vertical beam of energy, with a radius of about 10 meters, and the heat from the attack can effect anywhere within 5 feet of the beam, causing some mild burns to those nearby.

The drawback however is that Ky will almost instantly be knocked unconscious due to the immense strain on his body, both from draining himself of so much magic and increasing his reserves way past their limits. Even if he isn't unconscious, he will definitely be unable to move and well on his way to entering the 3 day coma that his body requires to recover from this attack. This is his ultimate, all or nothing, last resort attack, so he has to be absolutely sure that he wants to use it, cause once he starts it, he can't stop.

Dusk and Dawn: The only thing he has to remember his clan by, as his kidnapper, in a last second moment of pity, decided that even deserved to have something to remind him of his home. Ky and Xae are fairly proficient with them, and they have been special enchanted to allow the two to channel their magic into the blade, giving it an added versatility. Not only can the edges be imbued with magical power, but the reach can be extended as well. The blades themselves can even be manipulated from a distance, allowing for the two to do a lot of impressive things with them
