4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

Itsuki

The two would walk in silence for the rest of the small trip, quickly making their way past a few gardens where Itsuki took the time to pick a few flowers from people's gardens, a majority of them being white roses that he'd had the good fortune of finding. At the end of the walk, the two would find themselves in the relatively new section of a graveyard, walking down a row of pristine looking gravestones until they came upon one that was a bit different from the others. Breaking the uniformity of the other stones, this one was shaped slightly differently, with stone flowers engraved all along it's sides. Along side these decorations, were several handprints of varying sizes, each one a different color. Upon seeing it, Itsuki couldn't help but chuckle ever so slightly as he looked down upon it, filled with a mixture of amusement and sorrow.

Laying down the flowers he collected next to the grave, Itsuki didn't have any words at first, his eyes glazing over as he remembered distant memories of happier times. Reaching out, he'd silently stroke the name engraved their, a silent sigh escaping his breath as he looked over the words.

Here lies Hiyori Tachibana, A loving daughter, An honest friend, and a brilliant Investigator
May her spirit find peace, and her service be remembered

"Hiyori . . . I'm sorry for not attending your service. I'm sure your father probably cursed my name five times over by now,as well he should have. I was just. . . so lost without you." Itsuki's semi-bright tone soon faded away, his head falling down as he felt tears begin to make their way down his face. "You were the best thing to ever happen in my life, and when I lost you . . . I just couldn't handle it, I still can't. I thought that finding the men who killed you would help me come to terms with it, but all it did was make me fixate on my faults, on my weakness. It drove me to the brink of insanity, and I still don't think I've pulled myself back. And now . . . now I just don't know what to do with my life. I'm sorry for still leaning on you after all these years but . . . please, just one more time . . . help me."

Itsuki would stay in that pose for a while, his shoulders shaking ever so slightly as he just allowed himself to grieve, having held back these emotions for far too long.

Takeshi

Takeshi currently had no idea what was going on at the moment, and decided after a moment of still half drowsy thought that it was probably better that way. He was getting ready to leave all the 'adults' to their business when he heard an unfamiliar voice from behind him. He slowly looked over towards her, his face forming a frown as he gave her a very unwelcoming glare. This glare only intensified as the others didn't seem to know the ghoul in question, and while Asoka made her move on the ghoul, Takeshi only took a few steps back, watching carefully in case something happened. However, he could hear some stirring coming from the rooms, as it seemed that Takumi's shrill shriek early, among the accompanied commotion, had waken up the rest of his family. The first to come out was Kazuya, who was looking as grumpy and ill-tempered as he usually was in the morning, but one could tell that he was ready to fight or run from his general stance. He gave a look towards Takeshi, who shook his head slightly in response, motioning for him to go back inside. Kazuya proceeded to glare at his brother, but retreated none the less, having noticed the newcomer and taking on a similarly suspicious look on his face.

Giving a slight sigh of relief, Takeshi turned his attention back to the confrontation, backing away ever so slightly, ready to head to where the Twins and Mii were incase things got ugly.
In COLORS 10 yrs ago Forum: Casual Roleplay
I've been a bit busy recently, thinking on some things, so I haven't had much focus on RP stuff. Was hoping to get it down today, but that didn't end up happening. Should get a character up soonish(a day or two) if all goes well.
@UnoedipalWell . . . nothing for Charles to do, but I will be sending Goro over soon with Oliver either tonight or tomorrow.
@Holy GrailI actually think it's best to wait for the GM to continue what's going on in the building, since there isn't much for Charles to really do at this point in time. He's stuck just waiting for Jack's reports now that his familiar is not an option.
Argus Leandros

Everything went well enough until Argus felt the pressure around his neck, his eyes opening wide as his breath caught in his throat, instinctively leaping away from the witch as one hand went to his throat, the other whipping out as if he was trying to summon a wall of magic between him and her. One formed, but it was nearly as big or wild as ones he had formed in the past, showing that the seal was working at last. Argus, however, seemed particularly panicked as he held his throat, taking deep breaths as he tried to center himself in the present moment. Flashes of his first times being sent to the pits rolling into his mind like a wave. While the collar then had been thicker and more chaffing then the presence he'd felt around his neck now, it still felt extremely unpleasant to the point where his skin was positively crawling. On the back of his neck, the silver rose would suddenly be besieged by a halo of crimson flames, trying to burn away the unwelcome presence in response to his distress.

However, after a minute or two, everything calmed down, both the wall of flaming magic and the fire on his neck dying down as he knelt down, trying to stop the shaking that he felt racking his body, struggling not to tear at his own throat until he drew blood. For now, he settled for the spot on his neck where the brand from his time in that hellhole remained, magically scarred into his skin and one of the multiple reminders he had of his time there. As he stood up, one would notice him absent-mindedly rubbing at his bandaged covered wrists, before he noticed the motion and forced his hands into his pockets, taking a breath as he walked a bit closer to them, looking a mix between remorseful of his sudden action, and very, very annoyed at the two in front of them. The latter was becoming increasingly prevalent as he walked closer, however, cleary the stronger of the two emotions.

"A little warning would've. . . *sigh* forget it, you couldn't have known I'd react that way. It just. . . brought back some bad memories is all." Argus put his head into his hands for a moment, taking another breath as he slowly ran them through his air. His eyes would turn skyward momentarily,as if he was considering something, before he leveled his gaze at both of the two before him, his voice taking on a rather deadly serious tone. "But just to be clear, after we're done hear, I'm going to put all of my effort it getting this think off myself. I don't care what you say, what the crimson knight says, even what Sanders says. I'm NEVER wearing a collar or chains again, in any way, shape or form, Got it?

He'd hold their gaze as they respond to his statement, his face remaining neutral no matter what they said, as he felt he'd showed these two a bit more of his vulnerability than he liked. Whenever they finished, he'd simply wait for them to take him where ever he needed to be brought, not really in a talkative mood. As he waited, no matter how much he tried, he couldn't help but feel his neck, the pressure there seeming to only increase as he stood there. Every cell in his body was screaming at him to burn this damned seal of, and then to scrape at his neck with steel wool in an effort to get rid of the feeling that currently was driving him ever closer to agitation. In all of the excitement, he'd completely forgotten about Leo's presence, his attention focused almost entirely inward at the moment as he struggled to reel in his impulses.

@Caits@Lugubrious
@Hatakekuro Hey, just a thought since Nolan is the only Slayer that Nidhogg knows, but would you mind him and Shiro dropping by to pay him and Ariel a visit? It probably won't end in a fight . . . possibly . . . not likely . . . City will probably be able to rebuild anyway(I'm kidding about that part, Nidhogg's on his best behavior right now so no more domes.)

Edit: Also, was trying to make Argus more agreeable with the group, but . . . I feel like something like this would be pushing it a bit for him, given his past and all. At least he's cooperating, though.

I wonder how Gabriel would react if he had the Seal placed on him. . . probably not very well.
@AtomicNutWell, I guess that means that Miyako and Asoka are both hankering for a . . .Ba-Hana Split. . . .I'll show myself the door. *proceeds to make walk of pun shame*
@SavatoAsoka's assertiveness is kinda scary with how determined she is to get laid.
I'm interested in whatever, though I can say I'm leaning towards the Esper idea.
@Aya the SmallConsidering how Drosil tends to be, I feel like she won't be undecided for very long once they start actually conversing withe each other. Also, Drosil will now be very interested in talking to Christopher, as he's yet to speak to another Divineborn before(ignoring the Advisor of course).
