4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

Cool, I'll send a PM tomorrow, I'm about to get off for the night.
@DemonMiyuHey, I'd be interested in doing the Among the Stars plot, if you're still taking for that one.
@Veiled Angel*Raises hand, then waves it around a bit*

I like thinking about how fusions work, as well as how the personality of the two individuals work with(or, in some cases, against) each other to create a new individual. For example, if Topaz and Mars were to fuse(not sure what they'd be) I can imagine that Topaz's kind nature and calming influence would help calm and regulate Mars instabilities in mood and mentality, while Mar would make the fusion much more energetic and confident. However, Mars will probably never want to fuse with any of the other newborns because he wouldn't want to expose them to his intense negative emotions and all of the problems he deals with when it comes to the many, many people he's killed as a weapon for the U.S. Government.

Itsuki

"That's something I'd rather not get into, so let's just say that things could've been better and leave it at that. Itsuki was aware that this sounded harsher then he meant it to, but he didn't wish to burden Rin with stories of how badly his life had gone to shit after they all had lost contact with each other. Not only that, but he didn't think he would be able to do it without having another breakdown, something he wasn't very eager to do. As the two walked, he tried to think of something else to ask or say to his youngest sibling. "Do you still go to school, like Asoka, or are you just working and surviving like Hana."

Speaking of his other siblings, he couldn't help the feeling of incompetence that washed over him. He hadn't done anything notable with his life, not even in the slightest, while it seemed like everyone else seemed to make something of their lives after losing the old man. While it may not be all in line with the old man's wishes, they were at least living like civilized human beings. Itsuki, however, was merely surviving, fighting for every day like a lone wolf, knowing that his end could come at any moment. He wasn't even sure if he'd be able to live any other way after his stint in what was likely the closest approximation to hell that he could even imagine. Every day had been a struggle, restful sleep was a pale dream, and he had let his humanity shrivel and die in the name of hollow revenge. All I can do, it seems, is kill , feel sorry for myself, and think about better days. No matter how hard I tried to change myself, these have always been parts of myself that I can't divorce myself from. *Sigh* Truly a rather self-absorbed world view.

Takeshi

Takeshi was, for lack of a better word, rather surprised by the outcome of the current confrontation. Not what happened, as he hadn't trusted the suspicious ghoul the moment she'd popped in out of nowhere. No, what surprised him was how fast and vicious the situation seemed to be handled, with the nice guy from before suddenly bashing his head into that of the other ghoul while Hana burst into action. He was behind her, so he was spared from the torrent of razor sharp shards. That didn't leave him any less terrified by the display of power. Really glad I didn't get to close to that, or else I'd be dead. No way I'd be able to avoid any of those.

The sound of the ruckus brought the rest of his family to the fore, with Kazuya seeming ready to charge right in, but Takeshi made a quick motion for everyone to stay in their rooms. Kazuya paid him no heed, walking out of his room with his Kagune at the ready, while Mii and the Twins just looked on from their hidings spots, staring at the destruction with worry on their faces. Ignoring his brother, Takeshi kept his Kagune out, though in a more defensive stance then the other, not even hazarding the thought of getting into the middle of the coming clash. It would only end with him either getting killed or getting in the way, quite possibly both, now that he took the time to think about it.

"Kazuya, don't do anything stupid! We don't stand a chance if we get involved in this. Takeshi whispered, getting an annoyed glare from Kazuya as his brother stated the obvious.

No shit, but there's no fuckin' way I'm going to just stay in the room and wait around while shit goes down. Besides, you're almost hopeless by yourself when it comes to fighting, so leaving you by yourself as a buffer between us and this crazy bitch isn't going to do much, is it?"

Needless to say, Kazuya's statement brought out a significant amount of anger from Takeshi, but he just barely managed to keep himself in check due to the dire situation at hand. While he was pretty sure that three ghouls would be able to hold things down pretty nicely, he also knew that a cornered ghoul was much, much more dangerous, and thus they had to thread softly lest she suddenly lashes out with something they're not expecting.

Sorry for the long absence, will try to get a post up either later today or tomorrow.
Mars

"Well that's good, we don't want the general screaming our ears off because his Top weapon manufacturer lost a family member due to being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Keep me posted on the situation."

Just as Mars finished talking to Candice, he felt a presence approaching him, turning to see it was the newborn from earlier. He couldn't help but smile at her attempt to cheer him up, despite not knowing a thing about him besides what she had managed to hear him say(which was a bit embarrassing, as he honestly didn't like showing that kind of vulnerability, but given where his break down had decided to strike, he just had to deal with it for now), and gladly took her hand as he stood himself up, giving it a nice and firm shake.

"That's a great attitude to have Topaz, and the fact that it's one of your own thoughts makes you a really kind person. So, since I don't have anything to do currently, is there anything you want to know? I don't know much about Gems, but if you've got a question about humans, I can almost certainly tell you about it. Also, is there anything yet that you've figured out about yourself yet?" Mars decided to try and help the gem acclimate to things, trying to get her to ask questions as well as trying to get her to find out things about herself. More than anything though, he knew that he wasn't going to let the General try and turn her into what he had turn Mars into. He couldn't imagine Topaz hurting a fly, and he didn't want her or any of the newborns to ever be put in a situation where they had to, which would certainly be the case if the General had anything to say about it, if he didn't decide to just send in a miniature army to capture them all that is. That being said, there are Blue and red to consider, so that could be enough to keep the General from taking drastic action. . . at least, I hope it's enough.

Reggie

"Okay, how about Starburst? Because your freckles look like a bunch of stars just burst up all over your face. It's cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuooooooooool, yeah, super-cool, wish I had them, how'd you get them and, follow-up question, what were you doing talking to that Blue Gem back there? Sorry for spying, but you don't see many gems around, like, ever, so to see one come out of nowhere like that was too rare an opportunity to miss." Reggie said as he walked the two up a path that was slightly hidden by the cliff face that would wind around a bit before depositing them in an area again over-looking the chasm, though it was a bit of ways off from the current congregation of Gems. It was around here that, upon the other guy's protests, that Reggie to a closer look at the other, much less drop-dead gorgeous human he had dragged away from the possible conflict. First, this guy was tall. Reggie himself was around 6ft even, and this guy stood above him by a noticeable margin. Second, this guy was an honest to god Albino. Third, he had a hook launch mounted to his arm, knife around his neck, and a creepy as fuck mask. In total, Reggie was a bit intimidated by this person at first, but as soon as he saw the way the man reacted to the name Dorvain, his fears were wiped away by the look of enlightenment as he realized that this tall, pale man was, in fact, a kindred spirit.

"Yes. . . and No, my good sir. You see, I believe you're thinking of my father, who I help from time to time with my own inventions and theories. I do, however, have access to nearly all of the high-tech gear one could ask for, except for the most classified stuff, of course. I sense that you might be interested in taking a gander at it, am I right?" Reggie face was currently in a wide grin as he thought of all the fun he would have with having someone to show off all of his current inventions and schematics. All in all, this is shaping up to be an awesome day. Got a few more power gems to much with, saw a shit ton of Gems, got to meet a cute girl, and may even have found an engineering buddy. If this is a dream, then nobody better fucking pinch me right now

@Akayaofthemoon@BrassOtter
I'm still watching this but. . . don't really have much to respond to in all honesty.
@BrassOtterThanks for the update, and congrats, you get to escape from the horrorendoys shit-show that is America's current election. I envy you a bit.

Argus Leandros

The sight within the chapel was nearly enough to make Argus empty the contents of his stomach, and if it weren't for the sight of the hooded figures and the men they held hostage, he very well might've have. Before he could take as ingle action, the clerics where slain and turned into undead abominations while one of the necromancers mockingly informed them that they were too late. Needless to say, Argus was disgusted by what he saw, and as the former clerics attacked, he was quick to move into action. His blade would ignite into red and black flames as he lashed out at the first monster, choosing to focus the energy currently available to him since he couldn't let loose like he normally did. His blade bit deeply into the humanoid beast, the black and red flames greedily eating away at the twisted flesh as he pushed the creature off to the side, sword and all, as he moved on to the other two. He re-quiped a dagger into each of his hands and, with a quick spin around, planted them deeply into the heads of the other two monstrosities, ending them immediately. As Argus stood over the corpses, all of them burning away into nothingness as his Godslaying flames quickly reduced them to naught but dust, he felt that some words should've been said for their souls, but he didn't know any rites to give them.

Re-quipping his sword back to his hand, he turned to face the necromancers now, feeling a intense need to introduce them all to the sharp end of his blade, when there was a loud roar coming from a nearby room, followed soon by the twisting of wood and stone as something arose from within. After the dust had settled, Argus would bear witness to the monstrosity that these vile men had brought forth, and at this point, he did end up losing his lunch. Falling to his knees as he let loose the contents of his stomach, he felt an intense feeling of hopelessness take him as the black fog rolled over them. However, as the guild mark on his neck began to shine, it was soon quashed through sheer force of will. As such, Argus took on the full brunt of this feeling, letting it weigh him down, letting the hopelessness fill his being. It would not rest there alone, however, as he soon felt his anger rise up inside of him, a rage that had started to burn in the chapel, but that this monstrosity had only fe with it's dark aura. The black fog would begin to envelop him as Argus began to draw on this dark twisted energy, slowly giving into the dark influence of his magic. All Bytan would see would be a thick, black miasma where the young man used to be, with flashes of crimson flame appearing every now and then as he let the dark power grow and fester.

I'm going to destroy it . . . I'm going to take to take everything it throws at me and throw it right back, eradicating it even if I have to kill myself to do it. I can do it, with as much power as it's giving me, it would be easy. I just need . . . to let go. . . to give in . . . to submit.

As Argus's magic continued to grow, the pressure around his neck would tighten in response as the Seal of Denial worked to keep his power contained. Reaching up a hand, Argus prepared to break the seal now, letting loose everything he had so he could take this thing down before anyone else had to get involved or got hurt. However. . . he stopped for a moment, the words of that annoying spirt coming to mind. With this hesitation came a form of clarity as he realized what exactly would happen if he continued with his current course of action. He'd go berserk, and while he could destroy the beast, sure, he'd also end up attacking the other guild members, and even might end up going into town. He'd put everyone in danger . . . just because he didn't know how to control his own power. With a low curse, Argus took a deep breath, before releasing his hold on the miasma around him. The dark cloud would lift to reveal Argus, his eyes glowing menacingly as small pieces of it still stuck to him, a sign that he was still absorbing some of the energy. However, he looked more reserved then before, if annoyed, as he turned to Bytan.

"I'm. . . good, Bytan. Was just about to do something stupid, but I thought better of it. I'm going to go soften that thing up a bit, so if you've got something big to throw at it, you better get it ready. . . but first, I'm going to take care of some loose ends before they become a problem. Argus turned his eyes towards the necromancers as he let loose a wide slash in their direction, sending a concentrated wave of Godslaying flames in their direction. It wasn't stronger enough to kill them thanks to the seal, but it would blast them back a bit and likely knock them out, as well as leaving a nasty looking wound where it hit. With that dealt with, Argus would quickly move to engage the behemoth, switching out his sword for a brace of throwing daggers, quickly casting Crimson Gods Blessing on them as soon as they came into being. Taking aim, he'd launch them at the beasts knees and lower body, making sure they'd stick, before backing away in case it decided to counter. Taking a deep breath, Argus would gather up as much power as he could before letting loose.

"Crimson Gods Wrathful Upheaval!

A pillar of Crimson flames would launch into the sky, acting as a sort of beacon as well for anyone who might have missed the giant abomination of undead flesh that towered over the destroyed chapel. This was the set-up for something else, but more importantly for the moment, it would also cause the daggers previously launched into the beast to explode as well, hopefully doing some form of damage to the creature, as well as spreading the flames that would begin to eat away at it's form, the flames hungrily devouring the mass of flesh. After the spell, Argus would be a bit woozy, having used a larger amount of power then he was currently capable of using, but he quickly shook it off, absorbing energy from the surrounding miasma. This time, he didn't fight against the influence of the guildmark, letting it fight off the heavy influence of the dark fog while he took a second to catch his breath.

I really hope the others get here sooner rather than later, because we need some heavy hitters in order to take this thing down, and I don't think I count as one anymore.
