@Jangel13no worries about posts and stuff. Gird wasnt to interested in the others or the building immediately. But they would have headed back the way they came till he starts to see more bunnys then just kinda make a big circle around the structure to both hunt and scout.
@Jangel13

I do believe that me and @demonspade64 are waiting on one of your posts for scouting / hunting while the others do whatever. also with Gird telling Luz about the three gods would that count as her gaining that skill as well?

really what I'm asking is can characters teach other characters skills or, certain skills anyways.
@Wildman13 ok im good to go girds still near by just waiting for Luz now lol
Goblin Gird
Searching for one more friend >>>> Heading back out into the forest /// Day 4 // Morning - Afternoon

Gird waited for a little while, staring at the structure before him while listening to the others. He wasn’t all that interested in exploring that place just yet. All he really wanted was to know its location, and they could come back to it later in the day. Not only that, but his instincts were starting to get to him. For reasons the goblin couldn’t explain he felt like he was being watched. But not by a predator the presence felt more inquisitive but seemed stronger than he was. This feeling was making him uncomfortable and it was beginning to show on his face as he rubbed his index and middle fingers against his thumbs, a nervous habit perhaps.

He had to admit he did look a little strange compared to the others, he was covered in mud and a few sticks and leaves, the others still seemed to have their loin clothes with a few other items. However, he did notice rabbit horns on a few of the branches the others carried. They all seemed to be coming up with the same weapons while still being independent of each other. Still, there was a tension in the air he couldn’t shake. The goblin they apparently were looking for had appeared around the corner of the structure and was with the loner goblin from earlier.

She seemed alright other than a possibly injured knee, the other goblin seemed to be wary of them for some reason. He couldn’t help but notice the small rabbit that seemed to be hanging out near a grave as well. Such a strange occurrence for it to not run or try to defend itself from the goblins. “Must be poisoned or stupid, maybe injured.” He thought noticing the dug up grave near them as well. This place was strange and he still felt off.

The gurgle in his abdomen reminded him he had not eaten very much this morning and decided that since the others had been reunited there was no reason for him to stay here still. He was hungry and was sure the others would be as well. This place seemed sturdy enough to weather the elements for so long it could probably be a good place to set up camp if he could only shake that weird feeling in the back of his head.

He did find himself ignoring the others for a moment before Goblin Luz spoke up about the rabbit. He could see it in her eyes. That need to kill. Honestly he was tempted to do the same but didn’t think it would be a challenge since it was already friendly. “Come on Luz lets leave them to their catch, there is no need to be greedy. That and it looks like that one wouldn’t be too much of a challenge.” He turned and started back towards the forest, “we will be back in a little while hopefully with enough food for everyone.”

He wasn’t doing it out of kindness, the others seemed more than capable. However, they were stronger together, and he was sure the others were getting hungry as well. It didn’t seem to be a bad idea to send out a few hunters this early in the day to gather berries and meat. The others could explore the building and get comfortable with the area. He wouldn’t say no to whoever else wanted to join them, but he would still wait for a brief moment for Goblin Luz before he moved out. This also allowed him to scout out the nearby forest and possibly find more resources and secrets.

@Girlie1Bomba

what bridge?

he may see the secondary explosion and ensuing NO closing in on a truck with junk he recognizes as what? parts to an ion thruster maybe or one of the perpetual generators?
@my Lalia
so you know, im not having the trio stick together. after the ceremonies the other two will get sent to a different squadron and might come back later in the story. its also a possibility that his other family members will creep in somewhere along the line.

@Zetsuko
I hope you don't mind I figured since both of our characters have been in for about the same time that they would know each other.
Torok Stonehammer
Training with his brothers, Torius and Tordek >>> At the Smiling dragon pub // Morning - Afternoon

The forest was quiet in the early morning sun. A slow breeze whispered past blooming flowers and quiet trees. Small sounds of insects and tiny creatures could be heard now and then. All seemed peaceful in the forest near the Winged Defenders keep. Few would venture this close uninvited, who knows who could be watching. However, in the midst of some strong oak trees one would find more than a few straw men roped together around a tree. All having red and white targets painted on their chest and head. Just one of the many strange things one would see this close to the keep.

A rustle in the brush gave away the position of a man with a bow. One arrow was released and found its target the chest of one of the straw men. Then another arrow from another direction found its mark in another straw man, then another and another. Multiple arrows from multiple directions found their targets. Many cloaked figures dashed from tree to tree, firing once before disappearing.

Through this explosion of activity the figures drew closer through the barrage. Until finally a figure wearing a green cloak burst from the tree line a sword in one hand and a knife in the other. The man cleaved through a straw man then threw the knife into another target on the tree. Two more figures burst from the tree line one after another and repeated the action against their own targets.

When the dust finally settled and everything quieted down except for the breathing from the men. The trio moved up to one of the targets on the tree. Multiple arrows were stuck in the painted wood, the arrows all had different colored fletching. Blue, green, and red. The same colors dangled from the necks of the men in the form of stones and leather necklaces.

They all pulled back their hoods as they inspected the target. One thing peculiar about these men was that they all had the same face. The man with the green necklace spoke first, “Hey Torius looks like your shots are going high again. I thought you fixed that issue.” the man joked.

Receiving a push from the man with the red necklace standing next to him. “Well Torok, at least my shots aren't dropping low and to the right.” the small red gem glistened in the sun light. None of the stones were cut in clean angles. They mostly looked like they were broken off of a larger piece.

The last man who seemed a bit more mature than the other two just kept quiet slowly pulling the arrows from the targets. The silence from the man while he retrieved his arrows and his knife got the attention of the other two. Soon they all began to pull their arrows from the tree. “In a few hours our training might not matter, maybe we all get picked. Maybe none of us get picked. Then what? They separate us and put us in different squads?”

The silence still continued as the other two lost their smiles, Torok spoke up after retrieving his arrows. “Don't worry Tordek no matter what happens we will still be brothers, they can’t take that from us.” the smile crept back over his face while he watched the other two finish retrieving their arrows. “Besides I'm sure we are going to get Stoker dragons like our older brothers.”

Torius smiled as Torok talked about their brothers. “Yeah I bet Borius and Boron are having fun patrolling on the eastern border. The thing I can’t figure out is what's up with our family and twins. Still, can’t wait till Sara and Sasha are old enough to start this training. I bet they get Dark Dragons” all the brothers seemed to laugh this time as they began to head back to the village.

------------------ Back at the village ---------------------

The village was a hub of activity, people coming and going through the main gates. A few guards checking people here and there. Most seemed to be in a good mood, why wouldn't they. The majority of the people here where training to become winged defenders and very soon more Defenders will be chosen. The others are here to sell things or get ready for the eventual celebration and feast that was sure to follow.

More than a few familiar faces were moving about as the brothers moved towards the local pub. This had been their home for the last year while they were training. Team work came naturally to them, they had been used to working together for nearly all their lives. So being able to move and fight together nearly seamlessly was something that stood out to their teachers.

What they have noticed with other team work activities and where they thrive even against teams with more experience. They just summed it up to the fact that they have complete faith in each other’s ability’s and know exactly what the other will do. It’s a bit strange when they throw someone new into the mix. But, the brothers are good at adapting as well. All things their father taught them, the mountain of a man known as Vordek Stonehammer was a well-known name in the last war for his scouting and ambush tactics.

The trio of brothers soon found themselves at one of their favorite locations. The local pub. It had a name but the brothers always called it the smiling dragon. Their favorite waitress was working again, “Miss Tabitha” Torius called out as the other two brothers took a seat at the bar. “Could we bother you for some food and maybe some water?” a smile and a nod. The girl never really spoke too much.

Thank you beautiful” Torok added, always a charmer when he was in a good mood or with his brothers. The eyes of the trio soon wandered about the small establishment and caught a familiar face towards the other end of the bar. “Hey Sabine who's your friend?” Torok never had an issue with the foreigner although some did go as far as calling him a spy. The man seemed to have been here about as long as they had anyway.

The triplets did mumble a few things between them as they looked over the newcomer. Other than the different colored necklaces and fletching on their arrows, the triplets were dressed and looked the same. Same long black hair and scruffy bearded, same piercing green eyes, same body type and speech patterns. Honestly they do this out of a shared interest to mess with people. They have also been accused of using allusions to trick people as well, but it’s all in good fun.

@Zetsuko
@my Lalia
@my Lalia o I forgot to mention it in the profile but Torok is the middle child and they are triplets. thus saving me the issue of having to find pictures/describe the other brothers and making it a bit confusing for everyone else lol.
Goblin Gird
At the alpha's hideout >>> Searching for one more friend /// Day 4 // Morning - Afternoon

Gird couldn't help but smile at his friend. He did feel a little bad for speaking for the others, but he didn't think they really minded too much. Or at least they didn't say anything. Gird moved to the tree line and kept a watchful eye into the forest waiting for the others to take what they wanted from the burrow before proceeding after the next goblin.

He noticed Goblin Zats took the lead back into the forest trying to find where they once were. Gird decided to take up the rear while talking quietly to Goblin Luz, “those howling beasts you spoke of where probably the wolves Goblin Grandpa spoke of. he said they come from the west but travel east at night to hunt. You and me could take one or two on at one time, but he said they always travel in packs.” He continued to keep his voice low enough so it wouldn't travel but loud enough, so she could hear.

“He also said to the south-east are vipers, snakes bigger than us. then to the north-east are spiders. Both vipers and spiders are venomous, so we would have to be careful. The last thing he said about the creatures around here are bats to the north that stay in the trees to avoid the sunlight. Didn't get much else out of him other than the farther away from the cave we go the more dangerous it gets.” Gird slowly became quieter as they proceeded through the forest.

Before long and after taking a wrong turn they came to another large tree. Zats pointed out a trail of leaves on the floor but this time it was Goblin Grit that took the lead. By the looks of the branches above them it looked as if something had been moving through the trees. “The old man did speak of something else too. He spoke of god's and goddesses. He told us there was a god for everything from washing your clothes to hunting and life and death. The three ones he focused on though or what he called the three main ones are the god Ramos, goddess Duvelna, and the goddess Shirila.” pausing for a moment to keep an eye on his surroundings. After all, to him this was all new territory.

It was a bit strange to him though, he noticed that the tracks and animal trails seemed thinner if they were there at all. “So you know Ramos, is the god of the sun and all that is light I guess, I honestly don't understand it too much. Apparently he gives us the sun. Then there is goddess Duvelna who is the goddess of death and darkness. She gives us the moon. Then there is the goddess Shirila who apparently is the god of earth, nature, and life.”

He realized he might be getting a little long-winded, so he quieted down a little. However, his attention soon turned to a stone wall and then the following tall stone structure. It looked old and untouched almost as if it was abandoned nearly immediately. Grit was the first to speak up, something about how to find a goblin here. With a smile Gird looked at him, “only one way to find out.” not knowing what to expect Gird gripped his branch in hand and yelled, “Hey! Any goblins around here?!”
