So nice to check in and see character sheets waiting for me. Great job guys, I'm impressed with the cast we have and looking forward to the potentials waiting.
Not a problem, thanks for checking in, as well. c:
Wonderful, I'll be looking forward to what you have. c:
Fabulous. c:
Hum. Maybe alter it to wrapping his weapons in flame, for starters, and later on it extends to the "whip of fire" the stronger he gets?
UPDATE:

After some thought and deliberation it has been pointed out to me that a special ability-magic attribute should be included with SOLDIERS, this will start out as a low-tier specialty that is linked to the chosen Aeon, it can consist of offensive, defensive, or some other purpose that assists the SOLIDER in and, or, out of battle. Originally it was going to be included in the skill set, however the skill sets are designated for attributes that exist for the character as a whole and are not related to the Aeon. So I'm going to be updating the section of the codex on SOLIDER and update the CS accordingly.

It'll be labeled as a special ability, that relates to "magic", but it is not to be treated as a spell, or some such.

I don't have an example prepared, however, I trust everyone's creativity.

Keep in mind that powers and abilities also progress and grow with the plot and that this special ability is different from the Limit/Overdrive, as it can be used with more consistency than the last resort power.

edit. CS updated, the ability is located under the skill set section.
edit II. SOLIDER codex updated. - minor.
I noticed some of you are attempting a gradient effect with the names? v;
Here's some helpful links with colours and some such that I use for that.
oo1
oo2

The first one is a bit more complex but detailed with the colours, the second is more simple and straight forward.
Certainly an interesting batch of SOLIDERS thus far, and more to come!
It keeps me on my toes, that's for sure.
Mr. Hobo was the first, official, character so I honestly didn't think about it till now.

Anyways, I'll come up with quick bit for the probability of magic-special abilities sometime today and update it.
SOLIDERS possess super-human equivalent abilities. There can be some relation to the Aeon in terms of specialties that can influence and alter the SOLIDERS personality and some such later on. Right now, we're in the preliminary stages, "Tier One" of our bad-assery.

As for magic and special attacks... Let me think on this, because you propose a valid point. I'm thinking it'll be applied as a low-level type, again "Tier One", into your skill sets. It can be linked to the Aeon, like Mr. Hobo's scythe deal.

They're unaware because of their minds being swiped and purged about the experiments and alterations that went on in Fort Lullin. The SOLIDERS think it was just some form of special training they endured before coming back to the capital. Some might feel strange, or that nagging itch in their minds, but who knows what happened, really.

Our Limits/Overdrives are only seen in battle, and some might be unaware they even have it. Others might receive a peculiar twinge that tells them to do something and suddenly there's giant, flaming sword descending from somewhere.

It's more like a weakened, projected form of the Aeon, but I get what you'r referring to and I've already discussed that with the player. They'll amend that. c;
