Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

I am to assume Grian let go of Chieko in that post? Or is he still holding on to her?
Alright, I'll get a post up for Chieko soon~
@Rune_Alchemist The thing with the PC was a solution I came up with in order to avoid ethical problems with one of the core aspects of the Pokémon universe. If people around start seeing that as a bad thing, then the player characters WILL be the bad guys, because in any other universe that'd be a bad thing, and I want to avoid that. Grey morality can be fine, buuuut... In this matter the Pokémon Trainers would be obviously in the wrong! XD

I'd like to point out they wouldn't inherently be the bad guys unless they were abusing their pokemon. That's the thing with gray/real world morality. It can be argued as both something that could be good, or wrong. It just depends on which side you sympathized with more. It'd be better to not have any blanket statements saying 'this is absolute' and instead leave it vague, and up to each individuals characters interpretation.

Obviously, in the pokemon world its something that's been happening for a long time. It's accepted as fact by the people, therefore obviously no one is going to think about it too much so you don't really even have to worry about this a whole lot in the first place except maybe by a handful of people who think otherwise.

But, as you said, if all pokemon fundamentally don't mind being in PC boxes than anyone who thinks that they do are inherently wrong, as it would go against the natural order of this world. Which is silly from a narrative/story standpoint if someone believes that because that just makes them seem like they're evil/contradictory for the sake of evil or contradiction. Which doesn't make for a compelling character or organization.

but eh, enough of that.

Aside from me having a to make a few changes to Claire's personality - and maybe Ralia's (Because as she is, she probably would hate being shoved in a PC box) it doesn't really matter too much.

I'll try to get a post up with Claire soon...dunno what she'd do here. She doesn't like that Jacques is being an 'arrogant sleazeball', and would take him up on the challenge...but route 2, man. She wants to get this journey started xD

I'll try to have a post up soon.
@Rune_Alchemist A Pokemon battle turned fistfight?

PLEASE can we do that at one point XD

It's decided. This must happen. Don't care with who, but I would love to see it happen with Ren and Claire. Granted, Claire's at a bit of an advantage since she's well, as Ren so eloquently put it 'Workout Girl' xD

But yeeeah - it does tend to clash with pokemon a lot. To be honest, the simulation thing is quite nice. But then you get into stuff like, is it ethical to keep them in a simulation like that for the rest of...eternity or something. I'm not gonna get into it, though since that's not what anyone is here for xD

Though, as a fan of everything having a 'gray' morality when it can't really be argued one is good and the other is not, if everything is just black and white and obviously 'they're the bad guys' and 'they're not' or 'this is good' and 'this is bad' its gonna be a huge blow to the amount of fun I can have with this.
Ahhhh PC crashed and now I can't post
Urgggggggh T-T

Uhm...so what should we do with Chieko, Maria, and Ryan then? I'd rather them not be stuck in limbo if you can't post.

True, and while Jiru possesses those skills/tools he doesn't kill people. We could definitely make it work.

Mhm. For example, Tsuiho can't get past well locked doors. Well, not without causing a scene since she has almost zero skills in lock picking. She mostly finds alternative routes into somewhere, or waits until her target is in a more convenient spot. Most often, she makes use of already unlocked doors, windows, and other easy entry points into the targets house as well, meaning he could provide the both of them with some easier entry points.

We can definitely make it work, once it happens.
@Rune_Alchemist It does make you wonder why they'd work together though, I'm pretty sure Tsuiho could steal and kill. Maybe as some extra insurance?

hmm...that is a bit more tough. Perhaps Jiru could tempt her with some expensive something that he needed help stealing? He could split the money with her. Or perhaps they get hired by a third party? While Tsuiho is good at sneaking and generally moving unseen, she doesn't posses the skills or items needed to be a master thief.

"Relax, I don't kill people...That's her job." -Tsuiho maniacally stabs someone and turns around with a crazy smile on her face covered in blood-

Yeeep, that's generally how'd it'd go :D

@liferusher
@Kitsune

"Awah, using cute things as carpets is meeeean~" Not that she particularly minded. Being part masochist had its upsides, yep. More importantly, after telling her not to look up, she just couldn't not. And being the stealthy sneaky ninja she was, she was more than capable of looking without getting caught. She subtly turned her head upwards, and received a gift that anyone would have been thankful to receive. As Aya stepped off, the fox's face was one of pure bliss. She decided to remain on the floor, though. She had no reason to move after receiving such a treat.

Aya went on to mention two voice above, both of which were men, as well as tell her she looked pretty pathetic down there. Huh, she had some pretty good ears on her if she could hear the two of them talking upstairs. That said, yeah, she did look pretty pathetic down there.

"Auu, you're a mean one, aren't you?" Tsuiho replied, slowly standing up, dusting some dirt off her clothes. "Ehe, but that's fine. I'm nice enough for the both of us!~" No, she really wasn't but details, details. Hopping in front of the human, Tsuiho gave her a friendly grin and playful salute. "And wow, you've got some good ears if you can hear the two guys up there talking! Come on, I'll go introduce ya!~"

She bounded up the stairs up to the second floor balcony, not checking to see if Aya was behind her.

"KondoKondoKondoKondoohhaiKyojin-oof~!~" Her voice would have likely interrupted whatever conversation him and Kyojin was having, with her repeatedly shouting Kondo's name over and over again without stopping until she finally got onto the Balcony, bouncing to a halt and almost tripping over the railing after giving hurried greeting to the Giant. "Hey hey, we've got a little problem! I found a girl. I wanna keep her but she's lost and I think that'd be stealing."
@Rune_Alchemist I imagine if Jiru and Tsuiho worked together it'd be a great opportunity for Jiru to say something like:

"Relax, I don't kill people...That's her job." Right before Tsuiho stabs someone.

...that is both brilliant and quite evil.

I approve.

This needs to happen.
Gotta be 100% honest. And I mean no offense with this but, it seems like both of the teams are nothing more than your generic copy-paste bad guys with team Amethyst and some...sorta pseudo police force that seems in my opinion not even needed.

Eh...we'll see how it goes but at the moment, I am less than thrilled about this development of how things work within this world.

Seems kinda...standard and boring.

Plus, if no one else, not even a small minority that thinks that way or some small truth to those words then there's no logical reason for Claire to believe that as well, especially if the pokemon themselves feel nothing negative about this (which I feel is a bit much. You say they could experience jealousy, but pokemon are just as varied as humans in terms of personality. There are probably quite a few out there that would feel rather negatively about being left in a PC box/with a professor and never used). I dunno, just seems less feasible for Claire to have these personality traits given the setting, and it's less compelling for her character.

...although, it could be interesting if she is the first to think that way and then later becomes the leader of some Team similar to Plasma, but not some organization led by some power hungry insane guy. Heh...hehe. But well, still less compelling of a motive since their mission statement would hold no actual fact if its just a given that pokemon being in a PC box is just a given and none of them even hate or dislike it.

But well, carry on. My opinions have no hold on the grand scheme of things xD
I will think on things, but as it is I may end up changing Claire slightly to better suit the setting.
