I might change that though. Depends if She would plausibly come up with something that would let her not 100% pretty much disobey/go against everything she's built her life around until now.

Phoebe doesn't want to fight either, but she has a duty. She's made vows. Made oaths that she's breaking by even considering letting Shai leave alive, and Phoebe has to put her duty and job above all else, no matter what. Lusius is an unknown. She doesn't know him, nor his intentions, and has no reason to trust him at all.

A hunter hunts. That's what a hunter does. Lusius is standing in her way, not hunting, and she has a job to do. Simple as that. Is she paranoid? Maybe a little, but if one wants to survive on the hunts one has too remain somewhat skeptical of others intentions.

If this had happened when Phoebe knew him a bit better, then she'd be much more receptive, but...she doesn't, so...

...I was gonna post a long winded explanation of Phoebes thoughts, but I'll do that in the post instead when I get around to it.

TL;DR version, Phoebe basically thinks Shai is crafting all of this in an attempt to once again, garner sympathy and protect herself via a sympathetic hunter, someone Phoebe should be getting along with/comrades with.

It'll probably make more sense in the post whenever I get it up. (miiight not be tonight)

If not, just chalk it up to religious fervor and everyone of the inquisitors being a pyromaniac.

While he may have alleviated her concerns about him being under the influence of devilish magic, He did not agree to have Shai gone by the afternoon.

which means he's willingly letting a potentially dangerous creature stay at his home, and she has no plausible deniability in regards to her whereabouts.

So I am unsure. It could really go either way.

To be honest, I have not read all the posts xD
But yea, she would definitely approve of using bait to lure the heroes and stuff.

I did say she had so far found most of the participants quite able and definitely approves. It's simply she thinks the entire scenario could be improved greatly by giving the heroes an actual challenge instead of giving the villains a measly four minutes to prepare.
