Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Hmm. Sounds like it could be fun.

Oh hey you guys. Fonud the wifi. Except typing this on a PS4 right now. Will be back tomorrow.
@Marshall

Alright, well, I won't have access to internet until Sunday evening or Monday. I'll post an app then.
@PlatinumSkink

Claire's gonna head back to the woods and get her pokemon healed...and then do some training before heading to the wet caverns.

But I'll be posting that in the somewhat near future. I'm not going to be at my computer until sunday afternoon most likely, so I probably won't be able to post until then or monday morning.

"Hmm...this will do, though I am curious as to what would happen otherwise..." Charlotte stared at her for a few seconds as a few theories ran through her head. Afterwards, though, she simply sighed and turned back to her desk. "...your people are surprisingly kind, then." If she sounded a little surprised, or perhaps jealous she was a little of both. Back in Astril, those that lived outside of the tower in the wastes were...well, not the kindest sort. Especially to the residents of Astril. Granted, she supposed they had every reason to be hostile given some...events. Even those in Astril weren't...'kind' to one another. It was a corrupt Meritocracy at its finest, really.

For the most part though, Charlotte didn't elaborate. She wanted nothing to do with the place ever again, if she could help it.

Instead, she set to work on whatever it was she normally did. She placed the given hairs inside of a glass flask, before filling it with some sort of clear solution from a hollowed out coconut shell. It'd do in place of glass for now, until she had time to make more.

Katherine didn't understand, did she? Not everyone would have the same opinion of such a thing. All it would take is one person decrying her status as just another tyrant, king, or god, and she'd lose all legitimate credibility. Or at least, she would unless she had some sort of...death grip on the populace, which at the moment she didn't want any part in. If anything, she was growing increasingly tired of such things. Longevity and kindness tend to wear on ones principles quite often, if one wasn't careful. Her patience had been one of those things being worn on. She was beginning to think, harsher methods were beginning to be required...

"Please, Myrilla has no desire to run this establishment. She's too...flighty. The Council is constantly trying to get her to do her job as it is. Aetheria has no need to be killed while she is still useful, and you...if you were capable of killing me you'd have already done it, no?" Livia chuckled with a smirk. "So I am quite confident that I do not need to worry about any of those things." Walking over to one of the doors in the rotunda, Livia motioned for Katherine to follow once again.

"As for your offer...well, I am already a few steps ahead." She replied with a confident smirk. "I kept it secret from you for obvious reasons, but it is done with the help of that insufferable demon - her alchemy comes in quite handily sometimes if she's given a bit of...direction. Or any offer of messing with any sort of godly beings." The room looked to be a lab of some sort. Various medical instruments as well as crates full of a number of scientific chemicals and other such things littered the room. A few odd metal machines were strewn about the place, a few were making odd beeping noises.

"It's amazing what a little innovation, tireless nights of research and other things can do." She brought Katherine to a far wall of the room where a large metal box sat. It was cool to the touch, and incredibly heavy. "Might sound a bit odd with our...tenuous relationship, but Myrilla and I have a bit of a...partnership stemming from a somewhat extended stay in Hell a number of years ago." She opened the latch on the box, causing it to spring open.

"The fruit of our labor - an artificial human made through alchemy." The thing in question was no larger than a child. A small, petite thing, with blond hair resting on a bed of ice. Almost looked like a tiny version of Livia, really. It was the best they could make with Alchemy. A 'Homunculous', as the older alchemists would likely call it. "All it needs is a soul. I have been tirelessly working on how to make an artificial one, but it is a labor I will likely not be able to complete in this single lifetime." She looked over to Katherine.

"So you do not have to worry about such a thing...What you should worry about, however, is what comes after I die." Livia said. "I am giving this academy to you whether you want it or not. And do not worry, I won't be leaving you alone. I won't actually be dead after all...In fact, I think it might be fun to play the student again."

~Miren~

"It's a good start!" Miren cheerfully said with a bright smile. It wasn't the best note taking job to be sure, but it was definitely getting there. "Alright...that's from that one book, correct?" Miren asked, taking the book from Fia. "You start on another one - I'll go through this again to make sure there's nothing you missed, alright? It's never a bad idea to get another persons opinion or perspective on something."

The man with the bow looked at them suspiciously for a few long seconds, obviously debating the truthfulness of their words. Finally though, he started walking into the village, seemingly motioning for them to follow. Assuming the did follow the man, after a minute or so of walking they would finally reach their destination. It was one of the larger houses in the village, situated near the edge of a cliff, overlooking a rocky valley below. The boy from earlier was standing on the wooden stairs leading up to the house, an older, aged man was standing overhead, leaning on the railing.

The groups guide walked up the stairs, and conversed quietly with the older man for a few minutes before he walked back down the stairs, roughly passing Selvinia and the group with a hint of hostility. The older man however, greeted the group with a friendly smile, walking down the stairs.

"Welcome." He simply said, his voice light and jovial. "I speak...little. Apologies for him...come in, come in." He motioned for the group to follow him inside.

Would they?
Awright, a post

Hopefully I didn't mess anything up, but it's mostly just Yvette and Ciervia doing their usual routine of nonsense.
~Yvette & Ciervia~

@Leoven

High above the frozen lands of Shdowpine, a shadow blocked out what little sun might be present, moving quickly across the landscape. If any curious soul happened to look up, they would see quite the terrifying sight. A frost dragon, soaring high above the land with the swiftness of some purpose as it headed to its destination. Thankfully for the humans, said dragon in question was busy and had a destination they had to reach before they arrived late. Their destination? The Mirrorwoods.

As they arrived about half a mile away from the edge of the forest, the dragon descended towards the ground. The massive beast landed with a heavy thud, a thick cloud of snow kicking up from its wings as it landed. It lowered its head to the ground, and a sole human jumped off of the dragons neck, not seeming too bothered by the flight at all. In her hands, rested a heavy, well made halberd and a sword strapped to her belt.

"Walkin' the rest of the way, Ciervia." Yvette said, looking up to the dragon who nodded in response. The dragon kicked up another cloud of snow with its wings. Yvette would have rolled her eyes at the display, had she not had to brace herself from being knocked over by the gust. By the time it was over the dragon was gone, or at least had taken a different form. Where the dragon had stood, a feminine white-haired dragon stood a few paces in front of her in his usual form that most would easily mistake for that of a female. Whether it was or not, Yvette had yet to figure since he never quite gave a straight answer. He was wearing the typical blue dress he always wore. It was a simple thing, that fell to his knees but still managed to have an air of elegance to it. Simple shoes seemingly made of crystal clear ice donned the dragons slender feet, not seeming to have them be too unstable or difficult to walk in.

"Always got a flair for the dramatic entrances, huh?" She said, removing her helmet briefly and emptying out a few specks of snow before replacing it. Ciervia merely brushed a loose snowflake that had so dared to trespass on the dragons shoulder.

"Entrances always leave one with a lasting impression. One needs to make it grand. I do not expect you to understand, though, my little human."

"Says the short one." Yvette said, starting to walk towards the Mirrorwood.

"Yvette, that tongue of yours is going to get you into more trouble one of these days that I can't keep you out of."

"Pft, You'd just make more trouble anyways. Might as well just kill me now."

"Oh please." With a displeased snarl, the dragon glared at Yvette. "If there's anyone constantly getting in trouble, its you strutting around The Meadow like you own the place. You should at least consider behaving a bit more...inconspicuous. One of these days those fools are actually going to try something regardless."

"Ciervia...that...almost sounds like concern?" Yvette's voice indicated fake shock and amusement.

"Of course. Where else would I get delicious food from? Those fools at the church can't cook to save their lives." The dragon scoffed. "...suppose I could always eat them, though."

With the small bit of banter between Listener and dragon done, the two focused on their destination.

The Mirrorwoods. It was one of the most interesting, beautiful, and dangerous places in all of Shdowpine as far as Yvette was concerned. Beautiful, because of the foliage. She hadn't seen any anywhere else, and she had to always wonder how the plants grew that way. Ciervia said something about it once, but she hadn't really been paying attention, and even if she did she doubted she'd understand it completely. Things like fancy magic and academics just wasn't for her, really. Always went right over her head in some form. She could understand the basic concepts, but anything else just made her head spin.

Her boots caused the ground beneath her feet to softly crunch as she walked down The Veilroad. One of the safest routes through the wood. Her gait was a relaxed one, not seeming to care too much about their destination - or at least not in any amount of hurry despite the fact they were probably a tiny bit late at this point. Yvette cast a glance to Ciervia, who was currently doing his best to freeze the ground more than it already was with a glare.

"I heard that if you scowl all the time, your face will eventually get stuck like that." The dragon huffed, turning his head towards Yvette from where he had been studying the foliage of the forest.

"Hmph, it’s just when you said you were meeting someone...I imagined something a bit...different than trudging through a forest where narcissists come to admire themselves." The dragons voice was fairly neutral in tone, if another listener was around to hear it sounding either male or female.

"Oh, well, you should fit right in here then." Yvette mused in a friendly tone.

"Tsk," The dragon clicked his tongue, dismissively huffing at the notion. "Most narcissists do not have any foundation for their arrogance. I, am a dragon, the most beautiful and powerful of dragons and therefore do not need constant reassurance that I am in fact, better than everyone else."

"Oho, that so?" Yvette chuckled from under her helmet. "Was it that same arrogance the one givin' me compliments about my looks and tryin to pry a third plate of food outta me an hour ago? Also made us late, I might add." At this, the dragons gaze drifted to the side, not looking at Yvette.

"I-I was merely giving you praise for being a good little human." The dragon replied in a not so honest fashion. "I give praise where it is due. You're cooking is enough to charm even the most dangerous of beasts."

"Yeah, if they're a glutton and like inhaling their food faster than a pig does."

"I-I most certainly did not inhale it!"

"Nothing about the pig comment?" At this the dragon growled, moving in front of Yvette. He bared his fangs, sharp draconic teeth replacing what was human moments before. Cold blue eyes glared up at Yvette.

“I am most certainly not a pig either! You forget who you are speaking too, Yvette!” The latter part of the sentence was said with obvious venom, as a snarl escaping the lips of the dragon. Yvette stopped walking, staring down at the dragon.

“No, I know exactly who you are,”

“Then I demand groveling and food this-”

“You’re frost-butt, the king of frostiness and royal spoilsport of anything fun.” She gave the smaller humanoid form a brief pat on the head and moved past the dragon. Ciervia stood there frozen, cold, righteous anger boiling under a calm visage. He turned his head towards the knight walked away from him. If it had been anyone else…they’d already be dead. But Yvette? Well, the anger subsided almost immediately. For whatever reason, he could never bring himself to be angry at the human despite her disrespect and foolish behavior. Instead, he growled silently to himself and walked after Yvette.

…being pet on the head was surprisingly nice every now and then.

“Yvette-”

“Shush.”

“Did you just shush me?” The dragon seemed absolutely shocked at the notion, though it wasn’t the first time it happened and wouldn’t be the last.

“We’re here.” The dragon turned his gaze towards where Yvette was walking.

“Hm?...I see. Well. Let us get this over with. I tire of walking.”

“Well if you're lucky this can be over quickly.” Ciervia and her both decided it'd be a good idea to at least walk the rest of the way after flying. After all, while she didn't have many problems with the church...they'd definitely have a problem with this. It was best to have a bit of...discretion on this matter. She didn't think anything would come of it, but she didn't want to potentially offend all of Shdowpine. Again. Because she hasn't done that a hundred times before. “Come on. I want to get this over with before someone gets uppity that I'm nowhere to be found. Whoever we're meeting should be around here somewhere.” Ciervia nodded, remaining silent.

"Keep an eye out for them...or any sort of suspicious people." Yvette said. Ciervia nodded. One wouldn't think much of a woman in a blue dress would be much of a threat to anyone. It was half there reason Ciervia took the appearance he did.

"Still setting goals too high for yourself, I see." Livia commented, as she led Katherine into the corridor behind the shelf and down a flight of stairs. As soon as they walked, the shelf reformed, putting the room just as it was. "It is good you still aspire to such lofty things, but one should try keeping their goals grounded in reality." To put quite bluntly, that was something Katherine would never be capable of in Livia's opinion. At least, not unless she let the other woman.

...which was a tantalizing option at the moment.

"Indeed, futures. I am quite aware of your intentions, which is why I am doing you the courtesy of telling you this." As she walked, the blue flame in Livia's hand was the only source of illumination as they led down a flight of stairs, to a basement level of the academy. "I think it might be rather obvious to one such as yourself, but my time on this planet is beginning to become rather...short. My physical body is deteriorating at a rather rapid rate and I have done all I can to keep it from doing so."

They reached the end of the stairs, a iron door easily opening as Livia pushed against it. The room that it led too seemed to a large rotunda of sorts. A large domed room, illuminated by a chandelier full of glowing crystals of some sort. The room itself was large enough to house a number of people, and had doors leading off into other directions. The place was remarkably clean, though a faint smell of chemicals and other sharp smelling agents could be detected in the air.

"So take it as a fair warning...if you don't hurry along, then 132 years of time will finally be catching up with me." Livia stood in the center of the room, and turned to face Katherine. "But that is irrelevant to the current happenings." She continued. "You know I have spent most of my life for the betterment of humans as a whole. As a human, I thought I was doing something someone should have done ages ago. But it seems that was simply foolish, wasn't it? I'm not even human myself. That means that what I am doing is no better than any other tyrant king, or arrogant god who thinks they can do whatever they want with humans, or do you disagree with that? Indeed, it'd be quite easy for someone with knowledge of that to undermine any attempts I had at such a thing." Though she was quite certain she could easily deal with such a thing, but she was starting to become tired in her old age.

~Miren~

Miren watched Fia read, waiting for her to possibly ask a question or to write something down. When she didn't, the rabbit merely sighed. Ugh, this was going to be a bit difficult, wasn't it?

"Erm, Fia. If you read something that piques your interest or seems interesting or noteworthy, you should write it down in the notebook. Make a note of anything relating to that as well. Say, dates, times, names...places. Things like that."

That was about all she could do at the moment to help Fia. She supposed she could do it for her, but that seemed a little...easy? Or at least, counter productive in the long run.

~Sorcha~

"Not a problem, really." The dragon chuckled. "But it'd make walking much faster, don't you think?" Sorcha replied. "I suppose if you don't want to speak, I could talk your ear off all day - though I doubt any of my stories are as grand as you think." Well...the ones she'd be willing to talk about, at least.

Whatever the kittens response, the dragon began speaking of past adventures - mostly the good ones as they walked.

~Selvinia & Co~

The boy Selvinia had greeted stared up at her with a somewhat apprehensive expression. He was dressed in simple garb made from animal hide and cloth. It wasn't too odd to assume that they didn't get many visitors up here, wherever they were. After a few seconds of debating, a mans voice called out from the top of the stone wall, and the boy shouted back in something that sounded like confirmation to something. He turned around and started to run off in the opposite direction and was quickly lost in a crowd of people.

A few seconds later, a man's voice echoed from the top of the small stone wall again, as he walked down a set of stairs leading up to it. He was dressed similarly to the boy, though he had a bow and arrow on his person. Judging from the look he was giving them he wasn't exactly the friendly sort, and from the way he had just put away the bow it seemed like he was likely watching them from atop the wall.

He spoke, pointing to them and then to the village.

"What is your purpose here?"

Eith would be able to pick up on.

"...this guy could use a hug." Lyssa said with a giggle. Someone might want to try and make sure she doesn't actually try and do that.
~Odette Billeaud~

@TheHangedMan@Hammerman

Oh, she was now being hugged.

While that may have been a comfort to some, for Odette that moved from being startled, to causing her body to visibly tense. Not that she minded the hug of course, but she had no idea how to possibly react to such a thing. It was such a quick change in emotions, it almost broke the poor girl. She had never actually been...just, hugged by anyone before. Most people tended to avoid spooky ghosts. Not that she minded the hug. Oh no, being hugged by something so small and, erm, soft in certain areas, was quite the pleasing experience.

"T-t-t-t-hank....you..." Her gaze was still turned towards the ground, unsure how to exactly respond other than her usual quiet and timid manner. She was definitely calmed down, or at least, she wasn't upset. She still didn't seem too keen on looking directly at Lily though. Obviously saying she enjoyed the hug might cause the dragon to take it the wrong way and she'd get yelled at again. So she'd take the hug, and keep silent. It was then conveniently, Edward decided to show up. She looked over to the human, not saying anything. Saying she was going around scaring people, if even on accident was probably not a good idea.

"...Edward." She greeted him simply.

@PlatinumSkink

Ralia tilted her head. Oh boy, she definitely felt that. But what was it, exactly? Fear? Admiration? It wasn't directed towards Claire that was for certain. She tilted her head, a small growl of disapproval directed towards Yvonne but she said nothing. She had her ways of getting information. It'd be easier if she could teleport already...also taller, but she'd make do...She'd make the little blondie, talk, or she'd be sleeping with the magikarp fufufufu~

"Wahahah!~" Meanwhile, Claire simply laughed at the mere notion of dropping out of the contest scene. "I've never been known for taking the easy way out of stuff. If anything, I'm waaaaay too stubborn for my own good, pfft." She replied with a light chuckle. "Logic is for lamers. So yeah, you can bet that cute butt of yours I'm not backing down. Not until I've beat it in every single contest. So," Quite suddenly Yvonne would find one of Claire's arms thrown around her shoulders in the redheads usual overly friendly seeming manner. "Try not and disappoint me when I win, heh. Gotta have a good challenge!" That was that, then. A challenge had been issued, and it was not one she was gonna back down from no matter what, hopefully Yvonne would do the same. Claire released Yvonne, giving the other girl a bright grin before hurrying after Laurinda.
