Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Pay? Now that would be amusing. The Wrath of Amos...I wonder what you'll do, hm? Well, try to entertain me then, dear brother or I might do something myself." With that said, Cyl walked back towards the center of the ancient stone monoliths. Last time may have been considered a blunder by some, but to them? Not a blunder at all. Merely a stepping stone towards their final destination. Certainly they could have made the journey in one jump, but with such a makeshift tool it was a guess at best at their destination. Having a place like this, though? He could make an extremely precise jump with this. Right on top of wherever the Bell was heard.

"Try not to interrupt me...and keep your arms and legs inside the circle lest one of them gets left behind." Cyl's tone was impish and playful as it ever was, never taking anything seriously it seemed. Without another word, Cyl placed their hands together in front of them, steadying their breathing. Most humans would likely need a few words and preparation time for something like this, but for Cyl? A god? This was child's play.

A quiet hum began permeating the area, and if Amos cared to pay attention they'd realize that Cyl was speaking in an incredibly ancient, or at least otherworldly tongue. Even as old as a god was, he might have trouble understanding it entirely.

"Mgepogor agll, llll nilgh'ri." If only they had their staff. It'd make this a tiny bit easier. All they'd have to do is give it a wave and the stones would have lit up like a Christmas tree and they'd already be there. Of course, once they dusted off the skills a bit, they could do it regardless. "Nafl'fhtagn ehye ephaii, ng mgah'n'ghft shuggog ymg." Cyl raised one hand to the sky, and the reaction upon the surrounding area was almost instant. The ancient runes and glyphs glowed a bright, pale yellow as life was returned to them. A few even levitated slightly off the ground as the entire air seemed to shimmer and waver in front of their eyes.

For a few moments, Cyl move their arms towards each of the rocks, as if doing something but not a moment later they stopped and smirked.

"Found you! Come then, it will only stay open for a moment." A portal opened in front of them, shimmering and connecting to separate points on earth. It was a far more refined version of the rudimentary one previously used. Simply put, it was a portal that connected this place with that of another. Cyl would be the last one through, closing the portal behind her. A pulse of energy spreading through the mountains before dying off, and the stones once again, becoming dormant and leaving only a scorched part of earth as evidence of their passing.

In the next instant, Cyl, Amos, and the Human should he still be with them, found themselves standing right in the middle of a street of some sort, in some city materializing right on the street in a rather conspicuous manner, likely getting the attention of anyone who had been looking.

"Here we are! Well, this is where the bell was rung anyways." Cyl said, stretching their arms. "Ah, how I missed such travel. Planes and cars are so inconvenient and slow." That said...the place looked fairly empty, save for an indentation in the ground. "...Hmm, tastes like space?" Cyl commented to themselves. Perhaps they were late? Or had they arrived exactly when they were meant too? So difficult to tell sometimes.
Avaline

"Uhm..." Avaline paused, scrunching her face up in thought. What did she want? She didn't particularly have any favorites. Not to mention, after gorging on sweets from the shop earlier she wasn't exactly the hungriest person at the moment. "Meat?" Avaline replied honestly. "Deer? Ooh, what about fish? Maybe some rabbit? Ah...wait!" She slithered up to Luna, holding her claws together in front of her and looking up at Luna eagerly. "I know I know! How about...some boar! Wild boar is the best!"

Livia

"Tsk, of course it's not going to be Mugi." Livia replied. "Hello, Mugi. Pleasant evening, isn't it? Don't worry, the only one who might be melting you is Cynthia." She chuckled impishly, walking into the Villa behind Fia. "How goes work? Adjusting well? I trust Cynthia hasn't been too distracted from her usual duties." She gave Mugi a friendly smile, patting Fia on the head.

Chione

"Aha? Really?" Chione replied with a small smile. "Well, I'm not much of a belly dancer. My dancing is a bit more...animated." She laughed lightly. "Spend most of your youth as a vagrant and thief you learn to aha...amuse the crowds." She gave a friendly wave to the waitress as she came back by, but her attention for the most part lingered on Katherine. "A tavern, though? Hm...It's been a long time since I've been in such a place. I'd rather perform under the sky, if possible, but that is something to consider." She leaned back in her chair, finishing the last of her meal.

"Mh...well, whenever you're done perhaps you can show me to your home, then. I would at least like to have something warmer for tonight."

Celine & Marie

Marie grit her teeth, the force of the push sending her stumbling back. She planted her right foot into the ground, balancing herself and stopping her from falling completely. Marie took a few steps backwards, grimacing in mild discomfort. How dare this human even consider touching her? Filth! The demon glowered, spinning the light spear in her hands.

"I may not have my full ability, human, but I can guarantee this is all I need to beat you!" She wasn't able to use her full armory...her commands, her spears and crown, but she didn't need them. She could handle this human herself. She had to handle it herself. Tsk, she could easily beat this fool of a human if she turned this into a ranged fight, but she would beat this girl at her own game. With a frown, she closed the distance between her and Kozue as fast as her legs would let her.

She slashed horizontally forwards, following it up with an thrust forwards.

Cocoa

"Roger roger!~" The cow grinned happily, before scrunching up her nose, ears flicking in thought. "Ah...hold on." If she was going to carry the loot, then she wouldn't be able to carry Otille. That was something the cow didn't exactly find appealing, but since Otille asked she should do it right? For a few seconds, she stared at the gathered loot and turning her gaze from the treasure back to the human as if trying to solve some complicated puzzle.

"Hmm, yep yep! I know the way!" Cocoa replied as far as the directions went. "Hey hey, Otille. I can't carry these things and you at the same time. Maybe you carry them? and I'll carry you both?"

Ariadne & Sorcha

How rude! Here it was trying to help, and this cat not only shoved it outside, it hurt a bit. The spider would have given a cry of protest if it was capable, but all it could do was accept being relocated. Unfortunately for Maoin, it was a clever little spider and it had its ways of getting out of such situations. Before it could though, Sol was quick behind the kitten and picked her up again. The spider quickly skittered up the young Lightswords arm.

Unfortunately for Sol, the poor spider had been scared half to death. Instead of skittering over to the stove top, it simply left Sol's hand and ran across the counter and up the wall, back to its web.

"Hrmm..." Sorcha meanwhile, was sleeping in a rather ungraceful fashion upon the bed, one of her legs hanging over the side of it with the covers half on the floor. "Don't wanna get up..." She complained.
"No fun, Katherine." Livia smirked. "What's the matter? You work with the dead so don't be such a baby." The sister chided playfully before heading for the door. "Come then, It will be a bit of a walk. I'd rather not involve the guards lest they do something exceedingly foolish." Livia ushered Himeko and Charlotte out the door, only stopped momentarily by Marise as she gave Charlotte and Himeko a family seal so all they'd have to do is show it and they'd be able to freely move about the city.

The evening sun hung high in the air, starting its slow descent across the sky. They left the city without incident, Charlotte for the most part silently observing the rest of the citizens and people. It was interesting, seeing so many different people outside of Astril. Let alone something like a...tengu or by the stars, magic! How sheltered Astril was. For all its wonderful technological and scientific marvels, it was so ignorant of things. But that was expected, really. It was run by a bunch of close-minded fools.

Thankfully the forest in question was not too far from the city. Across the river to the west, and past a few farms. The forest itself had an eerie peace to it. Something that could be felt just from standing on its edge. Large, thick trees loomed over head and the single path that lead into it was obviously aged and was in disrepair.

Charlotte stood at the end of the path, frowning lightly, a small shiver running up her spine. Eugh, this had bad times written all over it. Livia didn't wait for input and simply started walking, Charlotte standing for a few seconds before realizing she was being left behind and quickly catching up.

"So...these spirits of yours..." Charlotte questioned uncertainly as they walked. "...Aren't the kind to, I dunno, possess people and kill people?"

"Not usually."

"Urf," Not usually? Not usually? Well, she did say they only behaved that way if influenced by outside sources but she was getting a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. She nervously ran a hand across the inside of her cloak, feeling each of the glass vials inside. Well, she'd be fine. She'd been chased by giant snow wolves, ice wyrms, and giant snow hawks in Astirl whilst gathering ingredients before. She could handle a few ghosts.

Probably. If Himeko looked over to Charlotte she'd see the young alchemist questioning her decision making skills and regretting agreeing to come along.

"Hurry up." Livia replied dismissively. "The graveyard is further in. Stay close and you won't get lost."
@Lord Zee

Alright, sounds good boss.

I'll get them there next post barring any interruptions ICly.
Alright, I was giving Spawnmeme another chance to post before posting with Cyl again, but I'll get to posting again tomorrow evening sometime if they still haven't.

@Lord Zee
Want me to drop the on Death and the others?

Cyl might make a bit of an entrance because they don't give a fuck about stuff like being seen by humans or not, but just want to make sure that's fine with you. Don't wanna derail anything you might have planned.
"Of course I go there. It's the only place I can get some peace from your incessant flirting." Livia complained, though said nothing more on the subject. Instead she turned back to their guests, nodding in mild approval. "As long as you understand your blade shall be the last resort, then we shall not have any problems. So many people here don't understand spirits are peaceful by nature and only lash out when threatened or some other outside influence." She replied sternly. Tengu, though? Now that was an interesting thought. Some sort of wind spirit or something? She couldn't recall where exactly she read that, but no matter.

Charlotte gave a thoughtful look towards the map, holding a hand to her chin and thinking for a few moments. She had no knowledge on the subjects of spirits and other less than mundane topics, aside from Alchemy - which was a science, not magic or supernatural.

"Ugh, this sounds troublesome." She finally replied with a sigh. "I'm not sure how helpful I'll be. I'm a scholar, not a fighter or some sort of demon hunter, but I suppose I don't have much of a choice if we want that information." Still, she supposed if something was happening it'd be better to deal with it now than potentially let it endanger people. She wasn't sure if her potions would affect something like a ghost, but she could at least offer medical assistance in some capacity if something happened.

"No, you really don't." Livia replied curtly. "If there's nothing else, then I suggest we get moving. Twilight is when the veil between this one and others intersect, allowing things to slip through."
Opera Night

~@The Irish Tree @Eviledd1984(NEP) (MAR)~

"E-eh?!" Christine suddenly felt bad. "I believe you! I do! But, I've been living in this room for a few months and nothing weird has happened." She followed Maria and Nephele into the room. Unlike previously, the room was nearly spotless. A large, comfortable looking canopy bed and plush white carpet. In fact, the room looked almost exactly the same as its rundown counterpart, except newer. As if it hadn't been touched by age at all.

"Uhm, see? Nothing." Christine walked into the room, walking over to her bed and plopping down on it. "Feel free to look around if ya want. This little diva's got no secrets!" She laughed brightly, grinning at her two guests and giving Maria a curious look. "Say Maria, how good are you with that Rapier of yours?"

She leaped off the bed, stabbing the air in a rather dramatic fashion with an invisible weapon of her own.

"Maybe the play needs less romance and more action? I can't decide." She glanced over to Nephele with an sly smirk. "Nepehele certainly is good at the romance part though," She giggled impishly, holding the cheek she was kissed on. "Maybe I should add more romance?"

~Arletta Dupain~

@PaulHaynek@The Irish Tree

Having nothing else to do then, Arletta would head back to the guild with Talia and Magnus. A flying machine? She was getting more into it than she should. Still though...feathers, eh? Maybe she could buy some? On the way back to the guild she continued to think about which ways she could get her hands on some. Were some feathers better than others? She hadn't a clue, but she did want to excel at the job. Well, she'd think about it later. Maybe ask some of her guild mates and get to know them better.

Upon arriving, the guild was quiet as usual - save for Talia marveling at its construction.

"Yep, I wasn't here for it but dwarves helped rebuild this place." Arletta replied brightly. "I wasn't here to see it done, but it looks a lot better than when we first started a few days ago." She chuckled. Talia was right though - the place looked much better and Dwarven construction was always something to behold. "Erm...that aside...what's making that noise?"

It sounded vaguely like singing, and Arletta was too curious not to investigate. She did not expect to find Neil singing with some odd music being played. Upon seeing them though, the music abruptly stopped, causing Arletta to tilt her head to the side slightly. He was hiding something rather poorly behind his back, too. Arletta decided not to comment on it, though, and decided to introduce Talia to Neil.

"Hey Niel!" She brightly greeted. "Yep, we're back...this is Talia. She's the assistant of the guy working on that flying machine. Talia, this is Neil, he helps out around the guild here."
Avaline

"G-getting on her good side?" Avaline feigned a disgusted expression, grimacing as she recoiled back a bit. Despite her vocal response, it was clear at least that she wasn't being too honest. "W-why would I want to get on her good side. We're natural enemies, after all." she continued, running a claw through her black hair, shoulders drooping a bit. It was true that she did honestly, and truthfully, wanted the approval of an actual dragon such as Sorcha...but such a thing wasn't something she was ever going to get. True dragons like her only viewed failed dragons like her with nothing more than tolerable disgust at best.

But she had Master Luna, now. That was enough for her.

"Ah? Food though? I eat whatever I can?" Not really an answer, but she didn't really have a better one. She wasn't the best hunter in existence.

Livia

"Hm? Home, Fia. I have plenty of other maids to choose from, you know." Livia replied, leading Fia out of the main office and towards her villa. Aside from Cynthia, she had a number of other maids that cleaned the place. Cynthia just so happened to be their boss, so to speak. Normally Cynthia's duties ranged simply from helping her with any personal needs, bossing the other maids around, and otherwise making sure everything was up to snuff.

"In fact I recently hired another maid...well, technically Cynthia hired her." Reaching the door to her Villa, Livia didn't even have to open it before the 'new' maid opened the door and greeted her in their usual slightly ditzy manner.

Chione

"Ah, you're right." Chione replied. "But if you have something I could borrow, I would be very appreciative." Perhaps this woman wasn't evil, then? Just a little lost like she had once been. Hm, difficult to ascertain just from one meeting. Soon though, their food arrived and the priestess had to admit, the food was well done. She was a little upset she couldn't pay for it herself, or otherwise ahem, offer her services in payment but still.

Hmm.

"Ah...well, I think I've decided what I'll be doing for money." Chione commented thoughtfully. "How fares the...festivities around here? Anyone need a good dancer?" She was used to solo acts, so even if there wasn't some festival or something she could easily do it herself. Even a few instruments, if she could find someone to play. Maybe she'd have to make them herself...

Celine & Marie

Tsk, this human was fast. She should have taken that into account. Still, wasn't much she could do to match her speed, even if she was at her best. How did a human move so fast anyways? She hadn't a clue. It definitely wasn't magic, that was for certain. Well, whatever it was - it didn't matter. She'd win regardless, of course. She'd win, because she wouldn't suffer any such loss to a human.

"Hpmh!" She had a few tricks up her sleeves herself. As soon as Kozue grabbed the spear, Marie reacted quickly. The pale white light blinked from existence, Kozue would find herself grabbing nothing, only causing the young demon to duck under Kozue's fist. Once done, Marie spun, the spear appearing once again in her hand as she slashed upwards with the end of it, aiming for Kozue's face.

Cocoa

"Ehe, of course I'm happy!" Cocoa leaned into the petting, tail swishing happily. "And don't worry Otille! I can carry anything you want, even you!" Without waiting for Otille's permission, the cow girl wrapped her arms around the farm girls waist, easily picking up the girl off the ground, one hand under her legs and another holding her back tightly. "I'm more than strong enough! So where too?" The cow seeming eager if nothing else.

Ariadne

The spider seemed to at least like Sol or something judging from the way it behaved. Maybe even somehow intelligent, too. It crawled over to the stove, seeming to find the buttons for 'setting 3' and tapping it lightly with one of its legs before stopping, and looking back up at Sol. Or perhaps not. It was a spider after all. Maybe it was just doing what spiders normally do.

It did however, seem to take notice of a fly buzzing around the room and turn its attention from Sol.
Livia frowned. An artifact of some sort? Dangerous, if true. She wasn't entirely certain if she believed this Himeko quite so readily, but it would likely be a good idea to perform some sort of investigation regardless. More importantly though, Katherine was being a little twit. Livia grabbed Katherine's ear, pulling on it somewhat roughly playful manner, causing her sister to bend at a slightly awkward angle though not enough to hurt.

"How about I deem you a demonic entity of lust?" Livia looked over to Himeko and Charlotte, not letting go of Katherine's ear. "And while I don't entirely believe her, rumors and legends always have some historical base in truth. I will help, though only if they assist me with something first." Finally letting go of Katherine's ear, she walked over to the table, which currently on it had a map of the area opening upon it. "There's an old forest near here with an ancient, overgrown cemetery. I frequently go there to converse with the spirits."

"Spirits...? Like some sort of medium?" Charlotte questioned. Speaking with ghosts was something out of a story, let alone convinced that they even existed. "Forgive me if I don't entirely believe you."

"If that is the term you prefer, yes." Livia replied seriously. "And I don't blame you. You don't have the talent for such a thing. Normally the place is quite abundant with lost spirits eager for a chance at one last conversation before moving on or eager to linger for some reason. Over the past week though..." She frowned. "Things have gone...quiet. Unnaturally quiet. Not even the birds or forest animals can be heard."
~Cyl~

@SpawnMeme@Lord Zee

Cyl simply smiled at Amos' tone. If there was one thing that their siblings should know by now, it's that the youngest God did not care one bit about anything other than their own amusement. As such, the resentment in Amos' tone when she was greeted was dismissed. At the mention of them being out of practice though, Cyl sighed. Out of practice? No no, the world had simply fallen into disrepair in their absence. The realms of magic had been unmaintained and unlooked after. Oh, certainly, they were still functioning, but they could feel them. The astral realms were grinding. Slowly. Their eyes were obscured as if viewing things from underwater.

"Ah, ah," Cyl raised a finger and waggled it in front of Amos. "Out of practice? Me? Never. I live and breathe arcane energies, Amos. Being cut off from them was almost like living a life breathing stale, rotten air with every breath. It will come naturally. One just has too..." He made a fist with their hand as if he was trying to grab something unseen. "...try reaching for it. Unfortunately, without my or the scholars' presence, it seems the old places have fallen into disrepair." They took a few steps back from Amos, rubbing one of her eyes and closing the other. "My eyes are tired and blind from years of disuse, to be sure, but that will be something quickly rectified."

Another spell though? They could. Quite easily, so. Using the energies lightning up this place with heaven's unlocking it would offer them a fair bit more control and more accuracy with the traveling. That said, there was no guarantee that there would be another place they could 'jump' too so to speak. Might end up jettosining them across the stars to some distant planet.

"Hmm...I could brother dearest," She playfully smirked, already having decided to do so anyway to sate her own curiosity, but she wanted a question answered first. "I could send us traveling through the back realms of the world and toss us upon the bell and likely our other siblings gathered." She paused for a moment, looking at the palm of her hand before looking over to Amos.
"But I am curious. What do you intend to do with Desious when we arrive?" Cyl didn't know he was there for certain, but the only one with access to the Bell was Death himself.

There was also the issue of the human. Jumping him again so soon might have adverse effects on him...though he supposed he could now give them a little gift, of sorts.
