Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Hah!

Success!

As the Lot Knight swung at not one, but two of her clones, he was felled. The viscous black substance of the weighty darkness began dragging, pulling him down as he was distracted by defending himself from the javelins. Despite his impressive strength, it seemed her strategy had won off in the end! Now she just had to deliver the final blow, indeed! She just needed to figure out how to get past that armor...a show of overwhelming magical force?

Just in case -

One of her clones dashed at him from the front, giving the impression she was going for a head-on attack similar to what she had done earlier. Of course - it was nothing but a clone built to deliver a 'Misleading Dazzle' curse should he suddenly have another trick up his sleeve and try to attack her. By now he had already probably pinpointed where she was - standing behind her clones a little off to the side as she prepped for a spell. She needed to finish this in a both flashy and fitting way, no? But how to do so... that armor of his was thick and difficult to get around. Physically, she was no match for him. Magically? She might just be if she attacked with everything she had.

"Oh gentle Goddess," Seleth began, twirling her staff before slamming the butt of it on the ground. Really, a pray wasn't necessary, but she needed to focus. "Mother of the forlorn and protector of the home," A spark of magic ignited in her right hand, growing into a javelin as she twirled her spear in her left. "Give me the power to end those who would scorn, shun, and harm others!" Spinning her staff in her left hand, Seleth gathered all of her magical ability into her right a large shadowy javelin formed in her grip. It began to grow, enlarging until it was almost twice the size of Reflection before being seemingly done.

"TWILIGHT LANCE!" She spun, launching the large spear at the Lot Knight, magic crackling off of it as it sped towards him. Ooh, that took a lot out of her. A shadow Javelin of that size? Mixed with a few more curses for safety measures? Ahhh, and such a wonderful name with she came up with on the spot!

Ahahaha, she was a genius, yes. A genius!

@Rune_Alchemist I have problems with illusory forest, as that means id have to tolerate a table flip of sorts should you go rogue and screw with tour teammates.
Rather than a large area can it just be an influence over a single target that lets you manipulate what they see. Illusory foes can stay but will do no damage.

Well, first of all. Tania wouldn't go rogue because she's a good guy. She might heckle and talk about being some fierce demon lord, but Lena will promptly shove her in a jar and give her swift, divine, punishment.

As for the illusions...well, I suppose I thought it was self explanatory that she could already do single-target illusions. Such as messing with a persons senses, hallucinations both auditory and visual. Such as make them think an ally is a foe and vice versa. The Forest was just supposed to be a more AoE version of that where she can't use any other illusion whilst she's using it, so it doesn't really serve much purpose if nerfed to a single target so I'll just remove it then.

Tania isn't much of a direct fighter by herself, hence the beefy bodyguard.

As for the undead knight, the bonuses given by blessing of the fae to their overall stats would make them unstoppable. The armor piercing cannot be allowed for reasons involving ease of victory over my established "villains" of the rp later.
I may have also overlooked this but does she hold her head at all times? Or can she only use one of her items at a time?

What exactly are ya asking me to nerf here? Her equipment?

She's a tank, she's supposed to be that sorta. She's not going to be doing ninja flips dark souls style with a great shield that weighs as much as she does. I may not have explained it well, but in a fight she's a defensive fighter. Even with a sword and shield she isn't going to be doing much physical damage simply because of how slow she is. Granted, someone does get hit their head is gonna be the one rolling.

I can remove the armor piercing on both of them though if that's going to be a thing.

And typically, yes, her head is attached firmly to her shoulders unless removed. It's not kept on there very well, and Tania does in fact, like playing baseball with it.
"W-wah!" Malia found himself accosted once again. Jess threw her arms around him. "Come oooon, stoooop iiiit." He whined, struggling lightly against Jess' pulling. "I am quite uncurious about seeing human imagination! I can walk thank you! Faster than you!" Ah, sometimes he wished he was strong as a Belethus. Then he could easily thwart these manhandling attempts by these annoying humans! He was helpless as he was dragged off, however, and could only grumble along quietly as he was pulled back to Engineering.

"Urf..." When he was finally let go, he gave an uncomfortable buzz, straightening his hair after Jess had patted him. "Look, seriously! Can you please stop with the moth-handling!" he pouted, following after Jess, not caring if they didn't spare a moment to answer him through their system checks. He vaguely understood what they were speaking about, but for the most part was focused on making sure his personal space wasn't repeatedly violated without his permission as he followed Jess around, complaining loudly.

"Only if you stop with the touching-without-permission thing!" He complained finally in return to Jess' question. "Otherwise I'm gonna get Captain to...too....I dunno but she'll eat you or something!"

Erka quickly followed Kiri out, giving her a friendly salute as he made his way quickly to the cockpit. He sat quickly, easily adjusting to the seat and flipping on the holographic screens that displayed a variety of the ships data. Everything looked normal from what he saw on the screens.

"Hows it look on your end, Cherche?" He asked. "Main systems look nominal. Everything is functioning optimally." He used one of his smaller hands to reach for a few buttons on the side panels of the seat without having to even glance at them. "Thrusters...check, engines...seem fine." As he listed off a list of a few more flight related jargon with Cherche, Kiri watched from her slightly elevated perch, leaning over the railing and watching quietly, smirking lightly when she was given the all systems green from Jess.

"Alright Tearch! In the air yesterday I said people!"

That was the only signal the bug needed. Finagling the controls and taking a hold of them in a firm grip, Erkia turned to Cherche.

"I got it from here, monkey." He grinned beneath his helmet. "but you might want to hold on to something."

Before Cherche could exactly ask what that meant, the Stellaria lurched off the ground, hovering a few feet off of the ship bay floor. A split second of calibrating the engines and thrusters, the Antathlon grabbed the controls again, Slamming them forward as far as they could possibly go - and making the ship practically leap forward as fast as it could possibly go. The captain merely stood stalwart, whereas the others in the ship would likely find themselves being yanked off their feet from the sudden action.

The ship swiftly climbed, breaking the atmosphere in a matter of moments before Kiri's gave her second command.

"Wormhole Drive, Tearch!"

Finding the controls again, Erka used one of his spare arms to find the holo screen for the setting, starting up the wormhole drive, and in the next instant the ship was tunneling through to their first destination.
@Stern Algorithm

Yeeep

Had tons of fun playing them last time. Figured I'd bring them back.
@Zelosse

Ya know

I thought about taking that admittance of masochism and giving ya more work.

But then I decided to be nice~
Here's two characters for ya.

Shield-bashing Undead Paladin and Fae queen. Do tell if there are problems friend.

@Ryofu

Oh

Oh~

How adorable. A feisty one, wasn't she? Mie's tail swished back and forth eagerly in mild amusement. No less, she was mistaking her for a kid! Or at least, she was willfully addressing her as one. How quaint. Fufu. This would be quite enjoyable indeed, wouldn't it? The fox decided to play the part at least, in a semi-believable manner. No actually, where would the fun in that be?

"This 'little one'," She began in a somber tone, casting her gaze to the side, ears drooping slightly. "is so very sorry, miss. My parents died in the war so I never learned not to talk to strangers, but you seem nice, explodey mage." She finished, the somber tone vanishing quickly as she turned back to looking back at Calliope. "So let this little fox walk with you? Or are you gonna toss a poor orphan out on the streets again? You couldn't be that cruel, could you?" Her ears perked up a bit as she made the offer, giving the magic user a challenging, confident smirk. She knew exactly what she was doing, after all.

Not that she particularly cared what Calliope did in the end. She just wanted to see how far she wanted to play this. Fufu, maybe she could get some free food or something if she was intent on playing this little scene out.
Isolde

"On it!" Help Reina and the others get past? Easy enough! There was a person locked up here too, wasn't there? Judging from the magical-stone thing. It'd be easy enough to just scoop Reina up and get her out of here at full speed, though she was pretty sure Reina would disapprove. Of course, then Aldo made a suggestion about going after the fighter. Isolde hesitated - he was fleeing, so he shouldn't be an immediate problem. At the same time, Aldo was right - if word got back to his allies, well...

Isolde frowned. She didn't want to needlessly kill anyone, but they were short on time, and there really wasn't telling what would happen if one guy made it out to tell the rest of the entire enemy force about them being here...but such was her job to make sure nothing happened to Reina. Killing him would be the best course of action, even if he didn't intend to fight.

"Got him! Titania, make sure nothing happens to Reina!" Isolde pulled back the reigns on her mount before urging Kergin forwards. She could handle herself, after all. She was a tough girl and Kergin would likely try to eat anyone that so much as dared touch her. The large Wyvern barreled forwards, snapping at the fleeing fighters legs as soon as he was in range and would attempt to pick him up before tossing him into a nearby wall.
Oh. Look at this

Overlord.

Been awhile, Zelosse.

Well, I'll just drop this interest riiiiiight here and get to writing up a CS. Think I'ma be going for a PC/NPC combo here. We're supposed to be members of the 'Ardent Heralds' guild, I take it?
"Well," Kiri sighed at Jess' obvious...over eagerness. Such absurd questions. How were they supposed to know how dangerous it was supposed to be? It was an entire galaxy full of unknown places. Danger was to be expected. "The long-range sensors from the humans and the Elves clairvoyance magic have given us a few leads, but we can visit them at our leisure. For the most part however, we will be finding planets on our own. It likely won't be easy or exciting work, but it'll be necessary for our mission. I can't say for certain how dangerous it will be...but we should always be expecting hostilities. Especially involving any already space-faring civilization we come across." Pausing for a moment, she reached for a few papers and folders on the desk in front of her. "Especially on any planets we visit. We'll need to be wary of foreign pathogens and other extraterrestrial sicknesses...including possible parasites." She shot a glance to Jess.

It was mostly something to perhaps make Jess a bit scared, or at least mess with her a bit. The effectiveness would have varied a bit, but for the most part it wasn't too much to assume that perhaps they could come across something like that.

"As for our first scheduled return to Terra," She turned to Harisa. "In approximately four Terra months are we to return to Terra and give a full report. Once we do, it will be decided what the next goals of our missions will be. If all goes well, we can expect the mission of the ECS Stellaria to continue as it were."

"Ah, uhm, Captain Drakat!" Malia chimed in, waving a hand. "What about other aliens? How exactly are we supposed to go about making contact with them? Would we be allowed to bring them aboard?" He was mostly curious for fashion purposes, of course.

"That will depend on whether they appear hostile or not." Kiri replied. "The Stellaria has been designed to allow for up to around 30 crew as well as additional amenities to be added at our discretion should I so desire. If an alien species is friendly, shows no signs of hostility and otherwise desires to join us, then I have been given permission to add them to our crew - and I will take full responsibility of their actions on our space." Pausing for a moment, but sensing the elves had no input, Kiri stood, gathering those papers.

"Pilot Tearch and Kendrik! I wanted this ship in the air an hour ago!" She barked, walking to the front of the room. Erka was already moving as well, motioning for Cherche to follow. It shouldn't be too difficult to get the ship in the air as fast as possible, but it wouldn't be a good idea to make the captain wait.

"Helmheim! Yamada! Get to engineering and make sure there aren't any problems! Show Russil the basics of how this ship works! Doctor Heartcheer, familiarize yourself with the medical facilities on the ship. I don't care how good you think your magic is. Dazzlefalls and Sprinklestar..." She paused, trying to think of something to keep those two busy with that wouldn't involve messing around with anything. "...go make sure the plants are watered and taken care of."

With that, she left the room for the map room of the ship that overlooked the pilots seat.

~The cavern~

Oh today just keeps getting better and better.

Before she had a chance to even start walking, it seemed a Dire Rat had decided to attack Colchain. Bah, they had lingered too long and the bodies had attracted other scavengers. She'd have lobbed a ball of venom at the rat, but she wasn't confident that with all his thrashing, she wouldn't hit Colchain instead.

Hissing loudly, she bolted towards the Rat, jumping and sinking her own fangs into its neck and forcefully dragging it off Colchain so he could move. She'd release the rat before moving swiftly backwards. Tch, just their luck. Chances were Ardur attracted some attention as well, and she didn't particularly feel like putting up with any more fighting. She had better things to do than just kill everything that came at her.

"Dire Rats!" She shouted, to alert the others. "Three of them! Scott, you want to help, now's the time!"

Filling her gullet with venom, she launched a few balls of venom at the three rats that had gathered, hopefully poisoning them. She hadn't seen the rolling slime ball yet - she was focused on making sure her new pack member didn't decide to suddenly run off among the chaos, or otherwise get injured.
