Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Isolde

"Eh!? Zane!?"

This had just gotten ten times worse. A former knight of Grado, but defected because he couldn't sate his battle lust just by being on guard duty. She never did like him, and her dad always commented he was always bad news. She was honestly surprised he even protected his ally.

"Geh-!"

The two exchanged blows, Zane's heavy blows threatening to knock both her and Kergin back. Her advantage being the only thing keeping her from getting killed in an unspectacular fashion. If this kept up, there was no way she was going to be able to fight him. Not one on one like this, maybe if she could flank him but not in a crowded, narrow street.

Aldo was right, though. They didn't have to fight, and if they kept fighting, things were likely not going to end well for them. They were both outnumbered and out skilled here. As much as she'd like to shove this traitor in his place, she was in no way skilled or strong enough to do so.

"Urgh - I don't think we can handle Zane!" Isolde grimaced, attempting to deflect Zane's charge. Isolde yanked up on Kering's reigns. The Wyevern hissed lightly before rearing back as Isolde swung her Halberd to try and deflect Zane's blow. He was likely going to hit, but she could at least mitigate the damage. "Titania, get on! We need to get out of here!"

So far the elements indeed, seemed to not be bothering her. The rain didn't seem to phase completely through her, but it slid off of her skin like some sort of water resistant fabric. Good, then. She could probably stay out here awhile without worrying about getting a nasty cold or something. However, there was something she was most certainly growing increasingly concerned about. The wind was threatening to toss her body around like a balloon. If she wasn't careful, she was going to get carried away into some unknown area.

While exciting, she also didn't fancy dying.

"Son of a- Hey, lizard, I'm gonna use your shiny bald head as an anchor. This wind is gonna blow me away in the non-fun ways." Vi grunted, latching onto Trevors head again once they had reached the bottom of the slope. A large puddle had formed, muddy cold water having run off of the slope. So far, the trek seemed uneventful and not much was going on. At least Trevor was continuing to prove useful.

"Psychic stuff, huh? Makes sense if Ghosts are anything like their earthly counterparts." Vi mused as the Charmander finished his explanation. He didn't explain very much what 'Shadow Sneak' or 'Astonish' was, but she understood the psychic beam bit a bit more. Well, all she'd have to do was give it a try.

Hm. Maybe some real world pseudoscience could help here? She was a paranormal and history scholar, but she did know a few things.

Still holding onto Trevor to anchor herself, Vi closed her eyes and tried to clear her mind as one would normally try to do when attempting to meditate, or otherwise gather their thoughts and focus. Next, the Ghost type opened her luminescent blue eyes, focusing on a point just in front of the snake, imagining it burning or being blasted by some unseen force with all the willpower she could muster.

If successful, it'd probably be funny.

Ugh, couldn't people just give her a moment to catch her breath?

She had wanted to go straight to the Cathedral without doing anything else, but it seemed as though some sinful fools were making a ruckus. The dark elf sighed, holding a hand to her head at the scene. A group of female students were clearly bullying some others. Seleth knew the sight well. Slurs. Derogatory terms. Insults. Nur was always a target for such things.

Unfortunately for the bullies, Seleth was in a bad mood and wanted some peace and quiet.

Rolling her eyes, Seleth summoned one of her javelins, launching it right at one of the bullies. It shouldn't hit - just close enough to maybe give her a tiny little haircut. Hopefully enough to give them a pause.

"You all have quite the guts, causing such a ruckus after my victory of the princess." Seleth walked towards the other girls, wearing a facade of confidence and mild haughtiness. "Do it elsewhere. Lady Aylama does not take kindly to those who disturb the peace."

Seems as though the captain didn't even know what they were doing here. Waste of time, then. Sounds like the Order had an agenda of some sort that they didn't want anyone else to know about. Aelsu of course, said nothing. She had nothing to say on the matter at the moment. Work was required of her, and that didn't require any discussion right now. She wasn't entirely certain what she could do here. All she knew how to do was fight, really. Healing and magic was not her strong suit, and she had little desire to get involved in whatever it was dwarves normally did while they hid underground.

A little monster killing though, was right up her alley, if that was indeed what it was. She had suspicions something else entirely was going on from the way the captain spoke, but she didn't think too much more of it. She glanced briefly over to Kuri - an old acquaintance. Also a thief. She'd probably like tagging along to the merchants. She'd probably find them to be an easy mark.

"Kuri." She picked up the money and the emblem, addressing Kuri briefly. "Stay out of trouble. I'm going to find these monsters." With nothing else to say, Aelsu placed the money and emblem in her waist pouch before heading off after the Necromancer and Einarr, quickly catching up with them.

"If its monsters," Aelsu grunted, once she was within earshot. "I've fought plenty in the Pits."

Didn't seem like she was asking permission.

Damn, these guys were really starting to get on her already frayed nerves. The gunships were giving her a hell of a time, but thankfully Lokea was giving her some decent covering fire while she lined up the shot. She wasn't used to having backup when she got rarely got herself into these situations - but there was just a tiny problem, some jackass in a gunship was going for Lokea and the others.

Now why would they ignore the girl with the bigass rocket launcher? She hadn't a clue.

Swiftly, Alexis moved to a new position some distance away from the gunships while the others dealt with the drones and kept the mercs off her. The cool thing about a Hydra, was that she really didn't need to aim. All she had to do was fire and let the heat seeking missiles do their work, but what she could do was make sure they all found different targets.

"Finding targeting solution..."

"HEY JACKASS!" Alexis hefted the Hydra over her shoulder as Cinnis began running the calculations.

"Beginning firing sequence..."

"PRO DATING ADVICE! BEING IGNORED PISSES ME OFF!"

There was a dull thunk noise as the charges left the barrel of the Hydra. Eight shots, each designed to work in pairs, destroy both shields and biotic barriers, and then blow whatever was left to smithereens. Four decided to target the ship harassing Lokea. They latched onto the ship, and seconds later a series of explosions ripped into its hull, ripping its shields to shreds. Two more found themselves latched onto the side of another gunship, and the last two somehow got a little off target, planting themselves on the ground right in front of a few mercs - making short work of them.

"Man, exploding things never gets old-ah shit."

The second gunship had decided to conveniently careen right towards her as it slammed into the hangar floor.

"I suggest moving before we both explode as well."

"No shit!" Alexis booked it back to the offices, vaulting over the now destroyed windows and landing right inside, taking cover just as the remains of the gunship slammed into the wall, and proceeded to catch on fire. Standing up and rubbing the back of her neck, Alexis casually tossed the Hydra to the side.

"Hey, anyone want some free cover?" She stretched her arm. "Thanks for the assist. Man, it amazes me how much shooting things makes me feel so much better. About how many more of these waste of flesh we got?"
I'll be having Aelsu look into this monster thing the merchants are having trouble with, if anyone wants to come along.
Oh shoot

I forgot to post

I'll get something up tonight

Damn it...!

It wasn't a bad plan, but she had expected Quill to just barrel in through the door, not just cut a hole in it. Perhaps she had overestimated? Or had Quill seen through it. She could merely wait for the poison to take effect as Quill addressed her from the other side of the door. Chieko frowned, already finding it more difficult to breathe within moments. As much as she didn't like it, maybe she could get some more information out of her attackers. She had already learned quite a bit just from this one outing.

Chieko felt her legs getting weaker as she leaned against the wall. Oni? There was an attack of some sort? Chieko frowned, unable to say anything as she tried to cling onto consciousness even just a bit longer. Was she smiling? Hard to tell, but she knew what she was talking about. Not that she could do anything, by now she couldn't even keep herself standing or leaning against the wall, slowly sliding down until she was on her back. In the last vestiges of her consciousness however, she heard something very useful - and very disturbing.

”Youhoo, Hiro!”

Fritzi's voice jolted Chieko back to the waking world.

Huh? She had expected to wake up in a dungeon somewhere or some place similar. Did Quill kill her instead? Or did...someone else? The Japanese girl said nothing to start with, giving the others plenty of time to converse as she thought over what she had learned with her brief encounter.

"Mhm...guys." Chieko quietly spoke up, quickly relaying the information she had learned from Donovans. One, they couldn't trust that failure of a doctor. Two, she wanted to speak with Quill again - they might be able to convince her that they could come peacefully. It seemed like she at least, was a bit less...violent? Or perhaps could be negotiated with.

"They're after us..." She continued, once finished. "Me, Hiro, and Aerith...but Quill didn't kill me - she said she was going to kidnap me and then...we could...rid the place of humans."

Even if they could convince them to back off. She couldn't agree with that last bit, even if what Quill implied was true in the slightest.

Mie Yukima

Below Ground - The back rooms

Mie simply took in Ruri's scowl with an impish smile, completely not seeing any ill intent behind it. Besides, her old bones had better things to burn with their old fury. She was here to find someone who did something. Not that she cared in the end - she was just in this for the giggles, and she was certainly going to have them by the end of this.

Mie listened with rapt attention to Ruri's instructions. Such a shame what happened to this place. It had always been a den of degenerates, but it wasn't until recently did scum like the Larchmond's began to fester, it seemed. Tsk tsk, someone would need to teach them a lesson, and she would be a very, very, eagerly helpful teacher.

"Skyflower...a nice little plant. Sometimes they never wake up, fufu." A smile crept across Mie's face, but it void of her normal playfulness. Her eyes lacked any of that impish playfulness that it carried. "Don't you worry, Ruri. I've never met a man that I couldn't entertain. Let's be off, Kitten. We have prey to find." With that said, Mie made her way to leave. Getting to the VIP section wouldn't be easy...but with Mirts help, then it could be feasible. She just needed to make sure they got into the ring. A little goading was easy. Drunk people made for easy targets.

Finding the old monk was incredibly easy.

"Follow my lead, kitten." Mie whispered to Elque before walking up to Mirt's table.

"What are you even talking about, you senile old man?" Mie's voice was full of both scorn, annoyance, and utter disbelief as she spoke. "You? Some fighter? You look like you belong in some alley, begging for scraps of food." Placing a hand on her hips and placing a drink in front of one of the other men, she continued. "Are you gentlemen just going to let this guy talk like that? I bet he couldn't even take one of you, or are all of you spineless cowards?" Her tail brushed lightly against a nearby mans leg as she sighed. "Such a shame. I thought this place was full of tough, courageous, men."
