Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Ahaha, what kind of lame city is this?" Amidst the ruined looking town, strolled a rather...bouncy girl with fox ears atop her head dressed in traditional Heian Period clothing mixed with a school girl uniform. "It's a total ruin! Tch, how am I supposed to do my nails without a salon?" Despite her seemingly flippant attitude, she had to admit this was super weird. Like, okay, she got summoned yeah? But there was no master here and there was nothing but this totally boring ruin. Didn't even seem to be any humans about either. What was she supposed to do? Wander around until she stumbled on something?

Argh, it was too much for a totally cute and strong high school girl like her to even think about.

Leaping into the air, Suzuka used her three swords as a staircase to the top of one of the nearby ruined buildings. Hmm, there had to be someone around here, right? She couldn't be the only thing here. Some faded signs, billboards...jeez, this place was more of a ghost town than an Otaku's contact list. Huffing lightly in annoyance, the fox was quickly coming to terms with the fact she was gonna have to put some thought into this whether she wanted too or not.

Frowning, Suzuka considered her options. Going back to the Throne would just be boring, but there didn't seem to be anything else to do here, either. No shopping centers, malls, or at least anything that remotely looked like one was in a state of disrepair nothing was usable.

Ah, wait a minute...was that...?

On the street just below her, a flash of blue, an echoing voice, among the drab city scape caught her attention. Huh, was that a human? Or...was it not? Something seemed off, but it was the only thing in this ruin that seemed remotely interesting, and a JK had to always keep up with the latest trends, right? Not to mention he was carrying that sword and shield with pretty good confidence, too. Well, might as well go say hi!~

"Hup!~" The Golden sword Daitsuuren began to shimmer, its blade transforming into a mass of water. She wound up her throw, tossing the blast of water towards the odd looking male. Suzuka followed shortly after, leaping off the building Kenmyouren in hand, the blade of Shoutouren impaled itself in the ground as she landed atop it, following it up by swinging Kenmyouren towards Link in a horizontal arc.

That was...terrible. Ash simply gave Torrent a concerned look but didn't press for now. She had many things to still do and try to accomplish. Now that they had a chance to get back to their training, there wasn't a moment to waste. So many things to do still! For now she helped move the stash of items out of sight, hauling them out of the open and into the hideout so there was less of a chance of some small critter or predator coming across their stash.

Once done, Ash found the branch she was using earlier.

"I'll be in the hideout if anyone needs me. I would like as few interruptions as possible, so only do so if it is important." She mentioned simply before heading back inside, the branch floating beside her as she carried it with lesser force. Once inside, she tossed it towards the back of the room. She'd make that magic staff later. She wanted to get something else first.

Coiling her tail around the branch again, now that she felt as though she had enough strength and practice with holding and grabbing it, she began moving with more exertion. Using her tail to throw the stick, or attempt to hold the stick upright, drawing little circles in the dirt of the cave, before attempting to use it to write her name in English. This would continue for some time, until either the skill ticked over or someone interrupted her.

While her tail was busy trying to move more like a proper appendage, occasionally Ash split her focus, trying to multi task when she was doing a less complicated task with her tail. Forming a mana orb in her hand, once again using both Mana Vision and Mana Sense to get a feel for the flow and use of magic.

Blegh, she didn't want to get out of bed.

Slothfulness was a sin, but for now, it felt like an acceptable one. Her parents could be coming any day now, and she really didn't want to deal with them. What would she say? What could she do? She had certainly impressed and did as she was told, but would it be good enough? Would she be berated for her behavior again? Would they find some other fault?

Eventually she pulled herself from the bed and got dressed, just in time to receive some visitors it seemed.

Grumbling lightly to herself, Seleth made her way out of the cathedral, only to be greeted by Alicia and Mira.

"I see." Seleth frowned lightly. "I shall pray, as I always do for safety." They were going, huh? She wanted to go herself, if she were to be honest. She could use it as an excuse to not have to deal with her parents, but...she would have to deal with it eventually. Best get it over with, as they say. "And I will ask both for safety, both you and Varjan." Seleth fell silent, leaning on the spear slightly and casting a perturbed glance to the side.

"...Truthfully, I would like to go with you, but I can not, so I will only say this once," She fixed the both of them with a stern gaze. Perhaps she was just nervous. With everything that had happened, it was understandable. "If at any point you feel something is wrong, return. Do I make myself clear? I do not care how small of a misgiving you have about something. I do not..." Her voice lowered in intensity. "...want either of you to get hurt."

Small change of plans

Decided with her reputation in mind, plus Nehla's insistence would probably give Chidori reason enough to be in this little battle free for all.
Chidori & Nehla

@Lugubrious@Ammokkx

"You couldn't crush anyone with that marshmallow body of yours." Nehla spoke a cold, biting voice as she made her presence known, holding her wings in front of her forming a makeshift dress and covering most of her body.

"N-nehla don't..."

"You'd make for a poor leader too, you know." The avian construct clicked her tongue. "But I suppose to your credit, you have some competency to be the first to speak up. Chidori, you could learn a lesson or two from him." Among those eager for a fight that had gathered, there was one who was distinctly seeming trying to avoid being seen.

"U-uhm, yes, sorry. Of course." The human in question was doing her best to not be in the spotlight, using her construct as a shield from prying eyes. Urgh, how did she get into this mess? Nehla said it'd be a good idea to further their own abilities here, but she wasn't so sure. It was nothing but fighting! Well, she could do that, but it wasn't exactly her favorite thing in the world. Urgh, she kind of just wanted to run in the opposite direction but if she did that Nehla would probably sign them up for increasingly difficult fights over the course of the next week.

As she was doing her best impression of puppy hiding behind its owner, Chidori didn't realize Nehla had moved one of her wings behind her.

"Yeeep?!" Nehla gave her a sharp shove out of her shadow so she was standing in front of everyone.

"Whoever has us will most certainly be assured victory."

"That's saying too much..." Chidori internally lamented, before doing her best attempt at looking confident. Well, she was here now and she probably couldn't escape, so there was little to do other than try her best. "U-uhm, right, w-well..." She cast a glance over to Hume. He was so big and actually kind of fluffy looking. She wasn't too aware about who he was or what he could do, but for whatever reason being around him put her slightly at ease. But since the others were getting first pick.

...and with her reputation she was pretty sure she was gonna be expected to excel here.

"Kaji Chidori, u-uhm...h-hello? Please be kind to me?"

"...we'll work on selling your skills later." Nehla huffed.

@PlatinumSkink

"Woah." She had never been in a game corner before, but her dad made occasional trips to them. She could understand why he liked 'em. The place was absolutely...shiny, and there was so much to do! Claire was briefly stunned by it all, but the woman that approached her quickly shook her out of her amazement. After quickly listening to how things worked, Claire took her up on that offer. A shiny new coin case and some brand new coins to spend at the slots!

"Alright! Time to make bank...err, kinda." Kinda sucked these couldn't be turned back into money, but hey, prizes were prizes. Claire walked over to the prize counter, quickly looking over what she could win.

...

A scyther.

"Welp, I know what I'm going for girl." Claire grinned. "Alright! I'm pumped more than ever now lets hit those slot machines!"

"Rrraaal!~"

Risk it for the biscuit, as they say. Claire spent the first half of her stay in the Game Corner playing the slots, praying to her lucky stars she could get anywhere near her goal of that scyther. Five thousand coins was a lot, but to start with she'd start small. For now, she'd aim for a thousand. If she got anywhere near one hundred coins left, she'd cut her losses for a bit.

Win or lose though, she'd then head to the roulette tables. If she only had 100 coins left, just one play at max bet. If she started to win, she'd play a few more games, still trying to hit that goal of 1,000. If she started winning from her 100 coins, she'd stop once her winnings brought her up to 500. She would stop any time her coins dipped below 100. If she already had 1,000, once she'd get back to 900 she'd stop. If she reached her next goal of 1,500, she'd move on to a card game.

She'd then give the various card games a go. Now Claire liked to think she had a good poker face. Now it wasn't untrue, but always acting like you had blackjack in blackjack, didn't always go so well. Regardless, She'd play the max bet of fifty. If coming from Roulette with no wins and just 70 coins, just one play. If she's coming from Roulette with 500 coins, she would stop once she got to 1000 coins, and any time her winnings dipped below 200 she'd stop. If coming from Roulette with 900 coins, skip the cards. If coming from roulette with 1,500, play with max bet until either getting 2000 coins or stopping once her winnings get under 1,000.

Regardless, once she's done, she'd finally notice Valarie.

"Eh? Valarie? Seriously? Why's she here?" Well, she wasn't gonna say no to a challenge. Regardless of the funds of her Coin Case, she'd challenge the Queen. Ralia poked her cheek.

"You also said riding that bike was a terrible idea, but here we are."

"...Ralts..." Ralia simply placed a hand to her face before patting Claire on the head as she walked up to Valarie.

"Hm, it's what is called a Jiangshi, in eastern cultures." Livia replied coolly. "A type of vampiric creature, though this one is...something a bit more difficult to deal with." She exhaled, pursing her lips. "I would be remiss to try and summon it here for a number of reasons." The former noble glanced around the room. For one, she wasn't entirely sure the sarcophagus would even fit. Secondly, while she did determine Mizu was the one controlling those skeletal specters the other night, it seemed they worked on a sort of auto pilot. Anyone that Mizu hadn't deemed as her master or someone as an 'ally' they simply attacked without regard. The only way to stop them from attacking, would be to wake the undead up.

It seemed as though, for whatever reason, when Mizu was awake she lost the ability to summon them.

"Aside from being particularly dangerous, I am not sure it would fit in this room." She glanced over to Odhra with a smile. "...plus it might try to take a nibble out of Odhra again. Wouldn't want that, now would we?~" It was about this time Max walked in. Livia watched with mild interest as the contents of his bag was revealed.

"...look, its you Siobahn. Look how cute you are." Livia teased the Ghost, who only rolled its eyes in response.
"What do you mean it looks nothing like you?" Livia pointed to the pillow. "Look there's your adorable little nose and your eyes. Maybe a little lacking in the chest department, but you know."

She glanced back over to Nikola.

"I suppose if you want to see it, I could show it to you later, after the club.
