As a holy paladin, I can't say for certain PrinceAlexus is going to be smighted, but don't be surprised if you find him with a mace in his face.

@Carlsberg I just realized that now...

(Click me!)

Softly Nirayane played on her verdant sprite ocarina while resting atop one of the many tall trees that bristled above the bustling, cobblestone streets of the capital, soon to settle with the dying sun nestling herself behind the high hills of the west, casting lovely, warm shades of pinks, reds, and oranges across the ever darkening sky fading into a calm and serene evening. Her eyes were closed as the peaceful melody she composed upon the quaint, little instrument lulled her into a deep, almost ephemeral trance, a trance unfortunately she broke from when she heard voices nearby.

Her amethyst eyes fluttered open, catching sight of the adventurers, quite a few of them female...cute females at that. But where were they off to she wondered. Perhaps she would find out for her own.

Twas then the Elven huntress leapt from her high perch atop the larch and with utmost grace landed on both feet safe and secure upon the sprawling rooftops of the city. With the velocity of a maelstrom, she darted across the terra-cotta plated roofs, trying her best to keep pace with the group, all the while making certain she wasn't spotted by them.

She followed them as best she could, until they had arrived at the gates of....the grand palace. So these are the emperor's new lapdogs, eh? She mused eyeing the adventurers with relish as they disappeared behind gates and guards. Hmph, surely they must be somewhat important, which means they're probably swimming in gold!

Those pesky guards, she had to get rid of them first.

Nirayane produced from her leather quiver a few arrows, blunt at the tip, but that was the rule, no killing, no bloodshed...at least not now, and though Nira went along with it, she only wished next time her steel arrowheads could taste fresh blood. However, though blunt as an ancient, rusty parring knife, the arrow could still do quite a bit of damage, just if the elf knew where to aim.

She singled out two of the guards standing firm and resolute at the doorway, their swords and their spades glinting dangerous, but with two swift arrows delivered with the wind of Veralyn at their backs, the men dropped, not dead no, out cold as Nirayane heard the satisfying *ding* of her arrows striking their helms something fierce and rattling their brains. She had done so with the next batch of guardsmen before making her way towards the next row of houses with a swift leap across the alleyway and a somersault onto the ground, standing before the gates of the grand palace.

Wasting no time, she rushed inside quickly before the guards were sure to awake from their blunt stupor, but slowed to a creeping pace as she stalked through the halls...quietly drawing her sharp dagger.

She found them again, only this time the emperor spoke to them, something about a dungeon, gold, monsters, and the fate of the kingdom...other stuff she didn't pay attention to.

And then...that's when she saw...her, the silver haired girl @Lunar. That gigantic sword on her back was less intimidating and more amusing, a smirk crossing the elven girl's lips. Such a cumbersome and heavy weapon for such a petite and....definitely attractive girl. She would be her first target.

Gracefully, slowly...like the predator she was stalking her chosen prey, Nirayane crept towards the group. Then...once she was within hair's breadth of the silver haired beauty, she struck, leaping high into the air and raising her dagger high over her head for a fatal death blow.
@Wraithblade6 s'all good. Take your time. ^___^ My schedule's a clusterfuck too.
@BlackPanther Ach vell...at least it's just five posts. Now if you'll excuse me- *goes back to laying face down in a bowl of cold ramen noodles*
Thursday, 6:58 PM

There were no windows at all, no light from the moon the chilled metal of the bleak and hollow corridor, plates of thick, military grade steel that housed within them a mass of wires and circuitry designed to counter any sort of surveillance from the outside world. While it was a cool seventy five degrees outside on this beautiful evening, the halls were as cold as a morgue…and just as dead, but a little life would be injected shortly into this bleak, empty surrounding.

At the other end of the corridor, there stood two elevator doors that soon opened with a light hiss of air, followed by the gentle pattering of Converse hi-top sneakers across the barren steel floors. The person who had just left the elevator, an odd teenage girl with wild blue hair tied in sloppy pigtails, skipped down the hall while humming to herself some made up tune in her head, a cheerful fervor to her stride. She had on her typical style of clothing along with a bit of smoky eye-shadow, and as always her favorite kind of shoes.

Happily the strange girl hummed ambling down the hallway, turning left towards a door and gently nudging it open with a resounding creak. Her eyes, shiny emeralds, even in the dim candlelit glow of the room, trailed from the large, elegant dresser over to the queen sized bed, where upon it slept a woman with fiery red hair, a bit tousled from her tossing and turning in her somewhat peaceful slumber, her lips parting slightly to give a small glimpse of her own fangs as incoherently she mumbled turning over again.

The girl giggled, a grin showing off the tiny daggers of ivory in her mouth, and slipped into the room, climbing onto the bed and giving the woman a little shake, "Mistress, It's time to wake up."

~"Mngh....Wha...what?"~, The woman stirred raising her head from her pillow and turned over to look upon her young servant with tired yet piercing blue eyes, as blue as ice they appeared to the girl. ~"Already? But I was just having a wonderful dream?"~ She yawned rubbing her eyes and stretching. Cheerily the girl asked, "Ooh! Was I in it, Mistress?"

~"But of course you were, sweetie."~ The woman purred with a wry smile. ~"And Camille, you don't have to call me Mistress all the time. You're not my slave, darling."~ A sly wink she gave before slipping out of bed, dressed in only a silk negligee but it soon fell to the floor, revealing her decadent figure in all its majesty.

Of course, she didn't seem to mind the girl observing her bare splendor. After all, they were quite...close, to put it in better words. "Umm...o-okay, Rebecca." A warm hue of rose finding its way to her cheeks, Camille answered. Rebecca smiled all the more and sauntered to her dresser, pulling out a black lace bra and a pair of matching panties before slipping into them and making her way to her closet. Twas no surprise what her outfit would be, casual yet with a professional modesty. (just the blouse and sweater mind you. She actually wears a black pencil skirt instead)

As she straightened her blouse, Rebecca pondered of her new digs. She never expected her prison cell would be so lavish, given what it was. At least she wasn't sealed away in a coffin in some dark corner of a basement. That much she could agree on, but still...it was clear she hated this place. ~"So sweetheart,"~ She asked her cute servant. ~"Any word from Director Stone? I figured he would be the one to rouse me from my much needed sleep, the right cunt."~

"Umm...no not really." Camille answered shaking her head, pondering for a moment drumming her dainty fingers against her lips, "Hmmm...Oh! But he did say something about a lead on a vampire coven in the city. Apparently there's some kind of feud brewing between these three clans. I didn't really catch all of it when I overheard him speaking to the other huntsmen, plus he kinda...shooed me away."

Her eyebrow rose slightly at the message given.

~"Is that so."~ Rebecca mused sitting on the edge of her bed, slipping her feet into her heels. ~"Well then, my dear, I guess we have a whole new hunt on our hands."~ She stood up, sauntering over to her dresser and opening the third drawer down, not expecting to find undergarments or any of her lingerie she saved for her sweet Camille, but instead what met her...was a bouquet of devastation, an assortment of tools necessary for her...nightly hunts. From the drawer she fetched a few throwing knives and a simple dagger, slipping them into her garter under her skirt, three small vials of holy water, and her main weapon, a silver and nickel plated Beretta 92fs Inox, loaded with special made 9mm bullets, forged from a silver cross donated by St. Thomas' Holy Church in Manhattan. She loaded a fresh magazine into the pistol and cocked back the slide, flipping it on safe and stowing it as well underneath her skirt in a special holster strapped to her thigh.

Then from the room she ventured, the cute little thrall following behind her.

No..... No...she couldn't believe it. She wouldn't believe it! The machine lied! It was just a mere glitch, a fault in the programming! It wasn't true...but...there it was in bold red, as if written in blood, Maxwell's fate....Metalheart.

Daniella, along with the audience she bolted from her seat in a sudden gasp of dismay, a sudden gust of air that robbed her lungs of oxygen, as if the fist of the gods pummeled her chest ever brutally. Her hand clasped over her heart, throbbing in absolute pain and melancholy as she looked towards the stage, her eyes glistening over with tears she tried to fight back...but to no avail...they streamed down her cheeks.

Metalheart...of all things to become, the embodiment of the very word, nay, the person the rich and the priveleged despised greatly, the very thing her parents hated.

~"Max....no!"~ It hit Daniella all at once, her tears never ceasing, her lamentful sobs racking her body and her mind with such pain...such torment of the likes she's never felt. She covered her face with her hands crying; she didn't want to be here. She felt regret for having to push through her friends, but she didn't want to stay any longer. To do so...would be a hell all on its own. So...she ran away from the auditorium and never looked back.

They would be separated, her and Maxwell...she would never be able to tell him...never at all...those three innocent words...
