It was nice knowing you, 2023. I only hope the year that comes after you is just as nice to know.

Men of the Internet! TRIPLE N IS OVER! The month was long and the challenge hard. To those who faltered, I wish you better luck next year. And to those who stayed strong, I say... enjoy your freedom!
Age: 28 Race: Half-Orc Country of Origin: Sovereign City of Volstryggr Occupation: Sentinel Handler/Bodyguard of Emile Volstryggr Description: Standing at an imposing 7 and a half feet in height and sporting the impressive musculature of his orcish ancestors, Jacoby is quite the intimidating sight to those who have yet to meet him. He sports a black crew cut on his head and his voice is a blend of the average and ordinary tone of the humans and the gruff and growly tone of the orcs, though all trace of human leaves his accent when Jacoby speaks in the orcs' native tongue.
Background: Jacoby never knew his parents. He was left on an orphanage doorstep as a baby with nought but a note explaining that he wouldn't be accepted where he came from and so he was left elsewhere in the hope that he'd find a better life than the 1 lined up for him at his birth. While growing up, the human headmistress of the orphanage showed him how to be human and paired him with a human name while the orphanage's orcish caretaker showed Jacoby what it meant to be an orc and gave him his orc name. At the age of 6, Jacoby was chosen by a sentinel and so he was adopted by the city and made into a handler. 2 Years later, Jacoby met and befriended Emile Volstryggr and together, they got up to all sorts of childhood shenanigans. When Emile became the Global Peace-Keeper, he appointed Jacoby as his bodyguard and roped him into providing some extra muscle for his heroic ventures.
It helps very much. That would have bothered me all week. Thanks for that.
EDIT: By the way if this is an RP meant for a small group like the tag says, I think we have enough interest now assuming no one has changed their minds.
