Butterfly's efforts proved to be fruitless as he was immediately countered by being thrown towards a car, crashing into it and taking a considerable amount of damage. Figures it wouldn't be that easy, Butterfly thought to himself as he attempted to recover from that bad start. There was hardly any time to do that, however, as Rampaging Tiger continued her rampage against Butterfly. At the moment, it was all he could do to block the kick as he moved to the left, her leg grazing up his arm, and she forced Butterfly to keep moving to avoid taking more unnecessary damage. She was proving to be a real hassle, if not an outright threat.

"Don't make me laugh," Butterfly responded to Tiger's last question. "If you really wanted to delay someone for the Blue City, you'd go for someone a lot more important than a lone straggler like me."

Butterfly created a [Bouncer] square just as he stepped back, launching straight up into the air. He created two more squares while in the air to launch himself behind Tiger, and then towards her headfirst. Instead of attacking Tiger right away, though, Butterfly merely shot past her, making himself a smaller target to try to avoid being attacked by Tiger. He rolled along the ground as he landed, then immediately went for a [Rush], feinting one straight thrust before twisting his arm in an attempt to slip his rapier past any guard Rampaging Tiger might put up. Butterfly followed up with a second thrust to her other side, not intending to let up the pressure.

Butterfly may not have landed serious damage with the first two attacks, but he had gained 2 [Zeal] stacks. As he began to press the attack, however, Tiger began to launch a counterattack of her own. Butterfly tried to move back, but was caught in an uncomfortable position and could not avoid the uppercut, resulting in him being launched upward from the force of the blow. He grunted in pain as he landed heavily on his back. A quick glance at his health bar showed that he had lost roughly 12% of his health, give or take 2%. He shrugged off the damage as he got back up and back into a battle stance, rapier pointed at Rampaging Tiger.

"That was a good blow," Butterfly complimented Tiger. "But don't expect a butterfly to hold still in a predator's sight." As Butterfly leaped back, he created three [Bouncer] squares, one behind him and two in the space between the two fighters. Butterfly stomped on the square behind him, launching himself towards the next squares, moving towards Rampaging Tiger in a zig-zag pattern at a breakneck speed. His rapier was raised and extended towards Tiger to pierce her once more.

The question would be actually finding that particular Orb and discovering its purpose. I'd be all for it, otherwise. There are only so many ways I can Deus Ex Machina my way through storylines through the Wisps scattered around the world.

"Hmm... I can see that happening," Leander said to Vincent, appearing thoughtful as he had his hand on his chin. He could understand looking for new ways to make things interesting. Leander then turned his head back to look at Amelia and continued, "Oh, and this is..." Leander paused as he saw how frightened Amelia looked.

"Amelia? You alright?" Leander asked her, concerned for his friend.

Turning back to Vincent, Leander took a moment to consider the thought of a rematch Duel with Vincent, even if it was only a casual Duel for a chat. While he was still concerned for Amelia, this was too good of a chance to refuse. "Sure, I'll take you up on that offer," Leander said, taking his deck out and taking a seat. After sitting down, Leander looked back at Amelia and flashed her a thumbs up, saying, "Don't worry, Amelia, everything will be a-okay! Nothing to worry about here!"

Michelle remained silent as she listened to Ben ramble on. She was used to remaining silent as others talked, though, so it didn't really bother her. In fact, she found herself starting to enjoy being in Ben's company as they headed towards their destination. "Yeah, sounds good," Michelle accepted, though she briefly wondered why he offered her a drink when he had already made a similar offer to her before chalking it up as simply passing the time as they walked. Thinking about time, though, she did still wonder where they were going, as her earlier remained unanswered.

"So.... where are we going?" Michelle asked again. The thought that perhaps he was lost or something came to mind, but she doubted that it was the case. Ben looked too capable for that. Probably.

Hmm, you could have @Scarifar's Niciel dabble with the Orbs of Darkness Julk left behind. Maybe your demi manifests itself after the orb unexpectedly succs in some of Niciel's essence, and by the mysterious magics of RPing, poof, out comes a demigod.

An idea off the top of my head after glancing at the Domain/Port you wanted.

EDIT: This could actually make Niciel somewhat relevant to a current storyline that @Antarctic Termite, @Kho, and @Muttonhawk have going on.

EDIT2: I don't actually think Kho was part of that storyline now... Who was it that went with Toun inside Jvan's cavities again? When Toun and Jvan were going all emo and shit.
