Appearance: Above, typically armed with at least two blasters. Currently without armour.
Abilities/Skills: 
Strong: Like most Besalisk his impressive stature makes him stronger than most sentients. He can even boast that he's stronger than every other member of his species... that he has met on Boonta atleast. He uses this strength to great effect in melee combat.
Charismatic: His charisma, and way with people is what makes him a good, effective and strong leader.
Mechanically Savvy: His parents being prospectors, he too picked up on the skill to judge a part by it's worth and dismantle it appropriately or indeed how to put things together to make them more valuable. This includes some skill at demolitions, not as good as someone who has specialized in blowing things up but he can get by.
Blaster Training: He may not be as good with a blaster as he is with a melee weapon but he knows at least how to use a blaster. He may not be the best shot, but when you have four arms... do you really need to be?

Equipment:
Combat: In combat he typically carries a bandoleer of grenades and anywhere from two to four E-5 blaster rifles.
Electrostaff: Always carries one electrostaff, two if he knows he's going into a fight. They're typically clipped onto a harness on his back.
Plasma Torch: He quite often has a plasma torch clipped to his waist, you never know when you might need one.
Holotablet: Holotablet... always a good thing to have.

Personality/Motivation: He was born and raised on Boonta. His parents being prospectors who helped found "Tyrn & lock" scrap company when the abundance of material in orbit so unlike most Besalisk he led a pretty static childhood. The war was chaotic, and yet it increased the amount of work that they had to do and increased profits allowwing them to expand and put more money into the economy. He always felt that this was the right thing to do, to make the galaxy better one planet at a time.

Then eight years ago, the Empire came. At first like everyone else he welcomed the end to the war, he found it hard to believe that the Jedi had betrayed the Republic but the evidence was overwhelming. Several recordings being broadcasted found in the temple of the Jedi plotting against the chancellor and even training their younglings to act as agents against the Republic. He now knows that this is likely false and it fuels his anger that the Emperor could twist an order to so pure for his own goals. He doesn't want to see the Republic reborn, it had it's own fair share of flaws. He just wants to see Boonta free once more. He wants the chance for the next generations to have a life he had, full of choice. 

Though Aliens are getting less and less choice nowadays, his company even being taken from him just fuelled the fire that already burned within. He won't stop fighting, not till the bitter end.
Biography:

His parents like most Besalisk wanderers were prospectors. Settling on Boonta just before they had their first and only child, Rael. A world with a vast scrap field of ships where people just tended to leave the junk behind was too good to pass up, and unlike Raxus Prime the planet itself was suitable for raising a family. During his early years he didn't see a lot of his dad, as his dad was the one trying to establish the orbital station and processing facilities to try and reduce costs. It put a strain on their relationships, it never seemed to Rael as if he was good enough. So when he was old enough to do something about it other than cry or go in the huff he decided to try and be better.

He began tinkering, he had always visited the ground based processing facility (Within the safety of his mothers arms, or being carried on her back or later with one of his hands firmly within her grip) but he had never really thought anything of it. So he tried to, there was little in terms of public education on Boonta so his education took place while his mother was at work. Eventually she would repurpose an old protocol droid to teach him. By the age of twelve he had dismantled it no less than three times. Each time he put it back together the way it was before or replaced a component with a newer one. This trend continued throughout his adolescent years, with the beginning of the Clone Wars in 22BBY... things changed.

People were called away, the military asked to serve. People from all over the planet signed up for military life to just... get away. The rest of them just didn't care. He initially saw it as a way to better the company and the planet itself. Tyrn & Lock had always been a large employer on the planet, and now with the droid ships being moved into the system by junkers and the Republic vessels... the economy on Boona boomed for the short three years of the Clone Wars. Rael took over the company in these three years, setting up more facilities and expanding the orbital processing plant in a way that his father could never have dreamed off. Everything was coming together, the war had ended. The corrupt and broken Republic had fallen, and the Jedi Knights who everyone thought had been saviors, who seemed to be responsible for the war.

Were no more.

Things prospered, for a time. Though like all things that are truly evil the true Empire reared it's head soon enough. Slavery thrived, Raen became a second citizen even all the way out on Boonta far from the core where humans were the minority. Eventually the Empires machine reached Boonta. A "Efficiency" agent being sent to be shown around the processing and mining facilities on the planet. He deemed that Tyrn & Lock was antiquated and unefficient, the company was then swallowed whole by the Empire. Leaving Rael as just another employee. 

He toiled away for two years, until he caught someone stealing old blasters from the husk of an old warship. After confronting them he discovered the Open Circle movement, and hasn't looked back since. As the saying goes throughout the galaxy, the rest is history. Rael quickly moving through the command chain, his knowledge of the inner workings on most of the processing facilities proving invaluable. He also knew what target to hit, when and how. It wasn't long till he lead the movement, something he never saw himself doing. Though he was sure of one thing. The Empire had to be removed from Boonta. Before it's deadly grip crushed the planet.
