So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.
It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.
Was the Open Circle Rebellion really led, at one point, by Anakin Skywalker? I'm guessing that might just be propaganda peddled by Obi-Wan and the other rebels to keep Darth Vader's identity a secret and not create uneasiness among the rebel forces, or something like that.
I'll reword it. Kenobi is hiding out on Tattooine still, what I mean is that the Open Circle fleet was lead by Kenobi and Skywalker. I'll tweak my wording.
@Sep Alright, so the planet itself is covered in vast green plains and deserts? And a giant scrapyard is orbiting the planet like a moon? I just wanna get all the details right about the terrain and stuff.
Largely greenlands, scrapyard yep. Maybe not quite like a moon but that's the idea, on clear nights it'll be visible. There is some desert land on the northern and southern poles, and most the forests are limited to the equator.
Biography: Alexander was born on Coruscant into a prestigious family that had connections to the senate. Once the Empire had been formed with the execution of Order 66 the Fo’lin family backed the Emperor both morally and financially. Alexander had already been in military service since his 20th Birthday but had very little to do with the Clone Wars. Instead, due to his Covert skills, Alexander was part of a special task force that would go and hunt down remaining Jedi that had escaped the grasp of the empire.
Secrets: It is rarely known that Fo’lin actually holds the rank of Officer within the Imperial Navy, but due to his love of field operations he mainly deals with special tasks before he takes command. Also Alexander is one the very few still alive that know of Vader’s apprentice and has in fact taken him out on a couple of field exercises to home his skills.
a) With this amount of detail I don't see this being accepted currently. b) They have Inquisitors and the ISB for chasing down Jedi. c) Wouldn't his superiors know? What rank? d) Okay... e) Vader doesn't have an Apprentice. Force Unleashed isn't canon it was even disregarded in Legends later.
First I would like to welcome you all to making your character sheets. Secondly, good luck and may the Force be with you all.
I have a couple of things I want to make clear before you get to the template.
First and foremost: Post your sheets in the OOC or PM them to me to be accepted before they get posted here.
Secondly, CQ will be making the Governor and Colonel Vale, I will be the Rebellion leader and an unknown ISB agent. Any other role is available, if you're unsure before you make a sheet ask.
Thirdly, please make your backstories at least somewhat original (Not everyone needs to be the farm boy who met an Old Jedi Knight after he finds two Rebel Droids), and ensure that they include where you acquired your skills.
Fourthly, Imperials are regimented and military and should act like it. Some officers can have their own agenda sure, but even then they have to be either really careful with it or it benefits the Empire. Rebels get a bit more freedom naturally. Though remember with a Rebellion not everyone knows everything.
Finally, try and have fun. I'm not going to be evil too you. Sure there will be tough times and chars may die (But I'll let you re-apply) but this will be saved for special occasions unless you somehow get your character in an unwinable situation. I want you all to have fun, but remember to treat this as an advanced.
Name: What shall we call you? Include rank if applicable. Age: How old are you? Species: What species are you? Cathar? Human? Bothan? Ithorian? Appearance: What do you look like? Image, Description or both! Abilities/Skills:
Can you handle a blaster?
Can you pilot a ship?
Can you slice computer systems?
Equipment:
What do you use to be the man you are?
What possessions do you own?
What are your tools of your trade?
Personality/Motivation: What drives you to act the way you do? How has your life shaped you? Biography: What has happened in your past that has made you the being you are today? Secrets: Anything you want on your sheet that other characters are unlikely to know? Relations: Are there any other player characters you know? If so what is the connection?
It has been 8 years since the reformation of the Republic into the Galactic Empire and it is a time of peace and prosperity, or so the Holovids claim. Tyranny, fear, greed. These are all the inner machinations of the Empire. While there are idealists within the Empire that is far from what the Empire has become. On Boonta, one of the Imperials hubs near the infamous Hutt space the regional Governor Sarrus lords above all. An uncaring dictator who only cares so long as the food, credits, alcohol and spice keeps flowing.
This makes daily life no easier, Colonel Vale fills in for the lack of cruelty. Stepping firmly on any sign of insurrection, ensuring that the planet is well defended and that all quotas for the mines is met on time. In all but name the planet is under his control and a firm and cold grip it is. Yet as is always true, the more control the Empire tries to exert the more people who begin to resent it instead of fear it. Boonta is on the,
Edge of Rebellion
It is 11BBY, and the Empire controls the Galaxy. This roleplay will take place on the world of Boonta, a scrapyard, scum ridden mining world near Hutt Space. The world itself acts as an important point for all Imperial Interests in the nearby sectors. Though all throughout the galaxy dissent is growing as people finally begin to realize, that the Galactic Empire is not as good as it was once hoped to be. While it promised stability after the Clone Wars and order, it merely offers oppression and control.
As such all over the galaxy small cells of rebels are rising up, however the Empire is quick to extinguish these groups. Cells struggle to survive in an ever changing Galaxy, will you fight for the security of the Empire? Or are you brave enough to stand in front of the Empire's war machine, raise your hand and say “No More”?
Boonta:
Boonta, like most outer rim worlds has a smaller population compared to most core bound worlds. With a population of just over eighty million, per the last consensus thirty years ago. Despite this small population the world is still of great importance due to its strategic location. Able to act as a supply base for the Imperial Efforts in the system, with additional slave labor it can be easily mined and provides convenient access to Hutt space but is not so close as to mean the entire world is corrupt.
The world itself has three major hubs, the first being Boonta. The city named after the hutt and the planet itself. This hub hosts the podracing stadium and has the major spaceport, it also plays host to the Governors palace and the majority of the Imperial presence. The second city is the Shining Gem (Pre Imperial: Ko Yaril) an older city mainly inhabited by the Tionese and has been ever since the Hutts first "claimed" the planet millenia ago. The third city is the mining capital known as Hollow Rock, previously a Tionese settlement it was renamed after the Imperials discovered it could be a useful mining hub for their operations.
The rest of the population largely lives in small towns or farmsteads in the vast greenlands on the planet that are ideally suited for growing crops or raising livestock. However there are two deserts near each of the poles, and the equilateral region plays host to several major forests.
In space there lies a vast scrapyard of abandoned and useless ships, in it there is a space station host to five thousand people who spend their days stripping ships of useful parts for the Empires war machine.
Post all sheets in this tab first before moving them to the CS tab.
Faction Assets
The Galactic Empire controls the biggest War Machine within the stars. This War Machine currently holds control of Boonta and all of the other systems in this region of space. That said while their presence here is solid, it isn't yet at it's peak. As more personnel are still finding themselves being assigned to this planet as well as additional resources and weaponry. One thing is clear that while the Empire may have Boonta in it's grip it is severely tightening it.
The Imperial Navy patrols this sector, heavily, due to it's proximity to Hutt space and the subsequent criminal activity. An Imperial Star Destroyer patrols the entire Sector, while in orbit an aging Venator stands guard with a Victory Star Destroyer. Numerous Imperial Light Cruisers also make regular patrols throughout the system and act as the Imperial Fast response if they need ships with more firepower in operations than the Imperial Freighter.
The main operation currently undergo in orbit is the construction of a Golan Orbital Defence Platform.
This Hider is W.I.P and numbers will be given later
The Imperial army itself makes up the bulk of Military Might, from the standard Imperial Troopers, to vehicle pilots and the elite Stormtroopers. The enforce the will of the Empire wherever they go.
Personnel
750,000:Imperial Army Personnel - This number encompasses officers, technicians, engineers, medics, basic ground troops and vehicle pilots that all belong to the bulk of the Imperial military.
50,000:Imperial Storm Troopers - The elite shock troopers of the Empire, this includes elite Walker pilots and Scout Troopers.
500:Special Case Officers - These officers belong to Imperial Intelligence or the Imperial Security Bureau
Vehicles
12:All Terrain - Attack Transports - The AT-ATs are the latest heavy ground assault vehicle available to the Empire. Heavily armed, heavily armoured and capable of transporting large numbers of troops through harsh terrain. They are a sight to be faired.
50:All Terrain - Scout Troopers - The AT-STs are new of the line, set to replace the older aging AT-DPs that still take part in the majority of Imperial Operations. The Walkers are faster, more nimble and boast a higher rate of fire. They do lack a cannon as powerful as that of a AT-DP however this is augmented with concussion missiles.
1,000:All Terrain - Defense Pods - The AT-DPs are the successor to the AT-APs, capable of packing a punch they walk faster than their predecessors and are more stable.
2,000:Imperial Troop Transports - ITTs or IRTs as they are sometimes called make up the bulk of the Imperial Ground Vehicles. Capable of carrying several squads of infantry, speeder bikes, supplies or prisoners they are also usually armed with two dual cannon turrets.
10,000: 614-AvA Speeder bikes - Speeder bikes are used for many purposes, moving secure crates of cargo quickly, scouting, pursuit or moving Important Personnel from A to B. As such the Empire has a large number of them at their disposal.
*The above lists do not encompass forces kept aboard any of the craft in Orbit.
The Open Circle Rebellion has named them such in honour of the Open Circle Fleet. The open Circle Fleet had once a sign of hope within the Outer Rim and was led by, most famously, Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. The idea behind the symbol is that it used to inspire hope, and the leaders of the Rebellion hope that it can once again. It is also a sign of unity, in that the open circle encompasses everyone within their sphere of influence, but can always accept more.
They are incredibly small in number, not only in regards to the Empire as a whole but even in the Dernatine system they are but a small force. Though they have heart, and while they haven’t many members their movement is growing.
The Open Circle Rebellion has no real navy, any freighters it possesses do not have hyperdrives (Or at least not functioning hyperdrives) as most of the ships used are only used in order to get to the scrapyard orbiting the planet. In terms of fighter support they have some old Clone War Era beat down fighters, but not many.
They have no ships fitting the capital class.
The “Open Circle” army is mainly veterans from sector security (or older veterans from the Clone wars), Factory workers of some description or just plain old people. Some of them have never handled blasters before in their lives. Which is why the Open Circle Rebellion only very loosely follows military structure. Personnel:
200:Dedicated Members - These personnel have devoted their lives to the cause of the Open Circle Rebellion wholly and completely. They do not have civilian lives anymore.
25,000:Rebel Sympathisers - These are people who sympathise with the rebels, but quite often don’t have the guts to take action themselves. Some are in high Imperial Positions which is why they chose not to act directly. Quite often the sympathisers indirectly assist Rebels, the higher ranking sympathisers unable to be touched by the Imperial Military due to friends in high places. This number can quite often increase or decrease rapidly depending on the Imperial Response, Propaganda or how the Rebels conduct themselves.
500:B1 Battle Droids - The Imperials don’t know the Rebels have these, and a majority of the Rebels don’t even know where they came from. Though they are active and available to be used… though of course they are out-dated technology these days.
Vehicles:
The Rebellion owns no vehicles other than some personal speederbikes and hovercars.
Command Structures
Everyone in the sector answers to the Sector Governor, and his second in command Colonel Vale. With the exception of any I.S.B agents on Special Assignment. Their command structure follows the standard military ranking system.
The Rebellion has one leader, who is voted in/chosen by the others. This leader is currently Rael Tyrn a Besalisk colonist, who was voted in not just for his physical strength (Which is impressive) but for his heart and tactical cunning. He leaders the Rebellion from their main hidden base, working with the group known as the Inner Circle to plan the Rebellions actions in the system.
Each small cell on the planet however has it’s own leader who can chose what each individual cell is doing, and only knows how to contact the larger Rebellion via a single contact to try and prevent the loss of one cell comprising the entire organisation. That is said, occasionally a major operation will go down in which all of the rebel cells will work together. Sometimes without even knowing it.
Current Objectives
Anything super-duper top secret will be sent via PM by your faction leader or done IC.
Empire Day: Empire day is approaching! The Glorious day where our Emperor Palpatine shook of the shackles of the Old Republic and ushered in a new age of peace and prosperity! The Governor himself will be making an appearance near the new Kuat Drive Systems Factory in the capital to unveil the first Imperial Walker to be produced on Boonta! It will be a glorious day, though to make sure it goes smoothly all forces need to be prepared.
ISB: Select units have been requisitioned by Colonel Vale to prepare a facility for the arrival of an unknown ISB agent.
Empire Day: Empire day is approaching! Everyone will be watching, security will be tight. Though that doesn’t mean we can’t make our voices heard and let people know that they aren’t alone! That there are others nearby who support them and not just the greedy Imperial Machine. They are apparently unveiling some new kind of Walker that we’ve never seen before. Though we’ve heard some rumours from other systems, apparently it’s big.
You all need to write up exit scenes for your characters and PM them to the GMs.
These scenes are for emergency use, like if you disappear for weeks without notice, if you lose the will to participate or such. We hope never to have to use them, but are disillusioned enough to know they are at times needed.
These scenes are best if written out fully and not just as notes. You know your character(s) best. We GMs can't go as fully into their roles as you yourselves can.
We hope, of course, that we'll never need the scenes you write.
Working on it right now.

=SW Universe implodes due to the rip in the Time Space continuum... then is reborn where instead of humanoids everyone is reptilian, except Miasa who is now humanoid=
