So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.
It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

@Nightrunner That would depend on whether or not Scarecrow is still in America at this point. If he's still stateside he could be a crime baron per usual but if he went abroad, I could see him establishing himself as a dictator. It's an interesting idea. I kind of wonder what Scarecrow's potential kids would be like too.
Sandman and Shade are both compatible with the RP, the Endless are part of the mythos, but that's a very interesting idea. When it comes to human technology I would like things to be somewhat feasible. But maybe his goggles would be some kind of alien artifact or mystic object.
I think we have enough interest to get started but people can jump in at any time, I should have an OOC up in two days at the latest.
Excitement.
@POOHEAD189 As I am more awake I thought I'd clarify. I'd rather you didn't play someone in Cryo as there's no need for them to be woken up so early. You'd be better playing someone who started the journey awake.

@POOHEAD189 thing is mate. we have a shit ton of cryo bays. and those cryo bays still have scientist or basically everything you wanna be. Or you can be someone who hasn't spoken at all. like a tactical officer or something.
@POOHEAD189 while cryo is a possibility at this stage you can be someone who is awake. As we haven't really progressed to the point where we'd start needing to take people out of cryo

I imagine with the situation being as tense as it is, Don and Dawn would probably be active, but you don't have to personally play them. They could always be in reserve or NPCs for characters you do control to bounce off of.
I suppose it depends on how much I follow the comic books in terms of Don and Dawn in whether they are present in this timeline because #speedsters. Wally would be one I'd definitely use, partly due to him becoming the Flash but he also has an interesting twist compared to the traditional Barry Allen, in that he's slightly faster and has some abilities Barry doesn't but also lacks other abilities Barry has.
In terms of Blue Beetle that's exactly what I was thinking, other than Speedsters I enjoy playing characters who have some form of internal struggle, and Jaime with the Scarab is a good example of that. Depending on whether or not the Reach have already had a go at him to get him under their control or not as it kinda defeats the gravitas if it's been done before, or alternatively if if I went the Blue Beetle route I could have him start as a bad guy.... Blue Beetle (Jaime) is one I'd only really go depending on what other people went as.
@Sep The Flash family would be awesome, I'm curious to see what they would all be like in the prime of adulthood. Barry's kids would be mature enough to be heroes by now too and there's also Jesse Quick, Max Mercury, and other speedsteers associated with the Flash family. I think Wally's kids would be teenaged by now and if Bart came into the RP naturally he'd be a kid, but YJ style would be cool.
In addition to the actual heroes, you guys could also play the families of their villains to even things out.
In terms of Flash family with it being 2040 I wasn't quite sure if I was going to go with Don and Dawn Allen being heroes, active or at all. Simply as I don't want to throw too many speedsters into the mix. I mean Flash (Barry) likely is still in prime condition but I was avoiding touching him as he'd likely be a head honcho of the JL.
An idea I was toying with was Blue Beetle as then there's the whole idea of it being a Legacy but also being solo, and the fun of the Scarab being in control at one point or another (and if I went the route of the Reach being allied with the Legion of Doom he could initially start on one side and move to the other).
