So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

@Xandrya Makes sense, there'll be more need for her with us being five years on.
@Xandrya Doctor Larson?

With all this interest I might need to make an OOC.

My Character: Rear Admiral William Locke. I will need to update him on the last five years.

@ShwiggityShwah So NOAH, our shipborne A.I will be an NPC, simply as it's hard for a player to fill that role of being accessible to every single player, and not leave them hanging. Someone has expressed interest at some form of secondary a.i but for that there needs to be a reason for its existence.

So my concept is to be a kind of isolationist, monk sort of fellow. I'm thinking of him being from Ausos.
You know I'm in.

Oh no he found me.
Paradise - In Hyperspace

Koren held the mercenary with both hands grabbing onto his shirt. He pulled him right up to his face. "This is the last time I ask nicely, where is she?" The mercenary simply spat in his face. He threw him against the back wall. The mercenary moved to stand up and the two droids that stood in the room bashed their electrostaffs against the ground and they activated, they made to move forward and Koren halted them with raising one of his hands. The mercenary rushed him, moving to punch his gut with his left hand. Koren moved his hands to bat the assailants hand to the side, locking the mercs arm between both of his own. Bringing his arm down, as he raised his knee. There was a snap and a crack, the mercenary screamed as the bone was broken. He yanked his shoulder, bringing him to the ground. Kicking him in the ribs as he went passed him onto the ground.

He then leaned down and grabbed him by the hair. "I know what you are, I know exactly what you are. You're a coward, a mercenary. What you do, is you get your credits from taking out targets. I'm both impressed that you managed to beat people I had guarding my daughter, and disappointed in their abilities. Don't worry, I'll have my words with them soon enough." He let go of the mans hair, his face falling towards the floor, moving his good arm to catch him he twisted to look up at Koren. Groaning slightly. "I accept that you maybe don't know where they took her. I just need to know how you were hired, by who and by where." Koren took a knee as he leaned down to look right at the mercenaries face. "Don't worry, I'm not going to torture you. I just had a little bit of pent up anger to work out." He stood up and walked to the door, as he reached it it slid up to reveal a Khaleesh warrior standing in full warrior garb with a white menacing mask.

As Koren walked out the door he indicated his thumb to the Khaleesh. "He's going to torture you." He then walked out and the door closed beside him. Immediately he was met up by Aurrie and Besh. "I need every single report on Hutt activity now. Every ship, transfer and movement from Nal Hutta since she was taken. Every eye and ear we have on Nal Hutta needs tied in now. Put out a general call, all trusted Mercs are to meet me in the Holsko system. I'm getting my daughter back, and the Hutts are going to pay for crossing me."
So in terms of powers, do you go with one element and then list their powers based on that element?

Or do you mix and match? I.E. If I wanted a Guardian who was an Earth manipulator would that be okay?
@Superboy Hopefully you'll not have any programming to switch you off.
@Vashonn Indeed, I should have made the edits to make that clearer, and will tomorrow or later this evening.

1) It's contradictory in that it's both, the crew are the best and brightest. Those in cryo are either having skills deemed non-essential to the space side of survival or are just healthy individuals chosen at random.
2) The projects did become public before full boarding took place, in terms of the ships for a large period of time it was their purpose that was kept secret, not the ships themselves.
3) A sizable portion, if you want specifics I'm afraid I can't give them as I never sat down and measured it all out and assigned set space to everything. The pods themselves are in cryo trays, the trays are split into sections and then each section has several monitors dedicated to it. While random checks also happen periodically.

I hope this reply answers your questions. If you're wondering why the skip, before life got in the way with the prior rendition things slowed dramatically after the escape. While I'm not expecting it to be fast, it is an advanced RP me and @Rawk got to discussing what the issues were, and he wisely suggested the problem may be the 'newness' of it all, for the crew at least.

@Polyhedronic Great!

"We all knew this moment was coming. We knew that everything we did, would never be enough. Federation and Conglomerate joined together giving the world a sense of unity it has never before seen, it was not enough. We have lost contact with Admiral Constantine, who took the combined Martian and Earth fleets to confront the Devastators. Genesis protocol is now in effect, we are leaving Earth. We are trusted with the burden to continue humanities legacy out in the stars. There can be no turning back."

This roleplay is set in a (hopefully) fictitious future, where in the year 2196 experiments with a new type of faster than light (FTL) technology resulted in an attack by an alien race which tore through our defenses in the Three Day War only stopped by a joint defense in the orbit of Mars lead by Admiral Roland Constantine. After the war humanity banded together like never before, all factions uniting under the banner of the United Earth Council. Ten grueling years past, leaps in technology from shielding technology to artificial intelligence were abundant all in the hopes of preparing for the next wave. Nobody was of the impression that they wouldn't return, when deep space scanners detected them amassing a fleet far larger than the one that decimated our system a plan had to be concocted as despite advances in technology there was no way Humanity could survive such an onslaught.

Project Genesis was concocted in secret, 12 Arks would be constructed to ensure humanity survived. Filled with the best and brightest humanity had to offer, each ship capable of hosting 10,000 waking people with a further 500,000 in cryogenic stasis. At the same time a hyperspace gate would be built in orbit, sending each Ark to a different distant solar system to minimize the chance of being followed or the possibility of sending the Arks into a dangerous system. Each Ark built with the best technology, the best resources humanity had to offer however the labor was mainly done by robots and trusted individuals to reduce panic.

10 Years later, with the Devastator fleet on the move again Project Genesis was made public, riots happened as expected however many people seemed to understand the necessity of their sacrifice. Admiral Constantine, a hero of humanity delivered the address and promised that he would lead all military units willing to fight against the Devastators. Not one member of the military went A.W.O.L, or asked to be released from service. In the mean time the best servicemen were assigned to the Arks, as well as Scientists from all fields, historians, doctors and engineers.

The Vitae, our Ark and our home. Left Earth five years ago, with no sign of a habitable planet tensions begin to rise on the Ark. Divisions between members of the four nations is rising, political unrest growing at the lack of a democractic society. The year is now 2221. How will you ensure humanities continued survival?

In this Roleplay we'll start with a Prologue as the Devastators make their attack, and the Vitae escapes into the void, simply as I feel it's an incredibly important and interesting part of the story. After that we'll be skipping five years, to where we are now. With our characters trying to do all they can to try and keep humanity in one piece.

You may have some questions. Feel free to ask them, I've ran this roleplay in the past (before Real Life got in the way) so while there is room for those of you who are creative and like to world build there is already a lot of canon available to you all.
