So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

We're actually staying pretty consistent of about 20 ooc posts per IC post.
So how about them New York nicks?
<Snipped quote by Lord Wraith>

When it comes to events in Metropolis that you don't want Thor interfering in can I get a heads up so I can prepare a reason for his absence or lack of interference so Thor's not out here looking like a bum who doesn't care about protecting his city and people? Like now with Lobo hovering in the middle of Metropolis and creating a sonic boom while doing so. For this I would prefer if it was happening at the same time as the Fire Trolls event so Thor would have a legitimate reason for not being there and at least confronting Lobo's presence.

I think the simplest thing is to not address it. Same as how theirs approximately one hero per square mile in New York City in Marvel but they aren't constantly tripping over eachother. Most of us will just assume Thor is elsewhere doing other things.

Things happen fast yknow, it would be cool to see people interacting/crossing over in the aftermath of these events though... I'm giving myself ideas.

@Half Pint I got a lot of tidying to do today (yay homeownership) but I'm hoping to have Spidey up by the end of the day, and sorry @Mao Mao he's closed to my age than I care to admit.

I was tempted to work out an ArachKnight sheet but then I'd have three characters who occasionally hear voices in their head (two of which would be murderous).
@Bounce, there is one thing.

Here is the second Thing

I can't speak for everyone, but I rather my crossovers be coordinated in advance. I wouldn't particularly welcome it if someone were to interject themselves in my plot without an invitation being extended first.

By which argument again, every post can more or less be in the present unless otherwise stated or previously coordinated.

Seconded. While I want interaction and actively seek it, there will be moments that are important for my characters to experience themselves without everyone else there.
Time is fluid.

I mean half the time Thor is actively being a God King in Asgard and somehow being an active avenger.. at the same time.

As long as nobody contradicts you I don't think anyone should be too worried about what time it is. I think putting a stamp on it just makes people feel more trapped.
My new goal is to form the Justice League Dark before the Justice League, thereby making that the Justice League by default and the actual Justice League will therefore need to be called 'Justice League Who Don't Want To Kill Themselves', or 'Justice League Light' for PR purposes.

Constantine stumbling into the trade arm office to get Justice League trademarked.

A letter to the Director of Project Warbird,

from the oversight subcommittee chairman.

Dear Director,

I want to thank you in advance for your openness in response to our subcommittee's request for more information. We were... satisfied to learn of your success in the recent skirmish on the outer edges of our solar system. We had hoped that, due to the nature of the agreement that the United States government signed that we would have been informed privately before a public release. Though I am glad you took the opportunity to shine the light on the situation. I know that your project has enjoyed a large degree of freedom with very little scrutiny in the past few years. It is not our intention to disrupt such a... 'progressive' military program, but instead to find a way we can work together in a manner that befits all our responsibilities. I am certain that you will agree.

And we look forward to making this review process as painless as we possibly can.

“Let's get to introductions, I'm the Warbird, I'd like you to explain yourselves in ways that don't mean I have to demand you come to the Pentagon for questioning.”

<INCREASED THREAT LEVEL DETECTED ACTIVATING OFFENSIVE SYSTEMS> Jaime felt his arm shift, but shoved his arm behind his back before it had completed the transition to weapon.

"No!" Jaime said out loud, both the 'Warbird' and the Nova turned to look at him as he shook his arm behind his back, feeling it return to its normal shape. "I mean uh-" He chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his head. Would the chuckle transmit through space by whatever wizardry he was communicating via?

<I AM TRANSMITTING ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION> Question answered.

"I'm the uh, Blue Beetle, and I'd rather not go to the Pentagon, if you wouldn't mind-"

<YOU SHOULD BE MORE ASSERTIVE JAIME REYES, TELL THIS WARBIRD YOU WILL NOT GO.>

"She just blew up an entire fleet of aliens. I'm not going to piss her off."

Ignoring Blue casually talking to himself, Sam shot forward and offered the Warbird a quick mock salute. "Call me Nova. Your resident SuperNova Commando, here for all your alien-warfare needs." He bowed his head exuberantly towards her, a massive grin plastered over his face. His dad was gone, his dad was missing, and all he could think about was how insane it was that he was out here in space, fighting aliens. Just like every story his dad had told him growing up. This was it, this was his moment. He'd find his dad, and together. Together, they'd be the father-son duo that this planet needed to keep it safe.

He'd see the Galaxy, finally in control of his own destiny.

We'd need @King Kindred to hurry up with that Teen Titans shit in order to do it properly, if I recall correctly. And we'd need 2 Lanterns.

Best I can give you is a Nova and a Blue Beetle.
