Want to do a slice of life romance, in the MHA universe. SoL is good with an interesting backdrop.

Bio

I don't know how to make this all stylish yet. I'll figure it out eventually.

In the mean time ahem:

Hello! I am currently writing a script for a fantasy story I plan on animating (Using the program Poser) Rping really helps get my creative muscles flexing and I'm going to be incorporating some character ideas into the RPs I produce with other people. This could include Male or Female. I really try to challenge myself.

I am a huuuuuuuge fan of epic scale narrative, and breathing life into a story is a great passion of mine. Seriously I watch trope talk pod casts and how to write, just to make my script as effective as possible.

I am versatile. I love things with emotion, whether Romance, Grim, Adventure Thriller, or even Comedy. Above all else, I love to entertain. I hope to do so with you.

I also have a 1X1 interest check.

Interacting with Kenji @jojo Soga @Claw2k11 and Fujino @Delta44

"See I knew some of them would get it!" He elbowed Fujino in the shoulder since she generally didn't care for his stupid jokes. Croc seemed in such high spirits when he heard some spurting here and there from some of the folks in the crow. He got up from his chair and began the walk to the gym behind the others. It was encouraged that the teachers and students get to know each other this first day, not to mention all the other little prep work they were expected to do.

Making his way past the students who were getting to their feet, he wasn't surprised to see the dragon getting up and coming towards the teachers. He remembered the entrance exam, and from his intense, angry looking eyes, he watched him, listening to his every word. He smiled, a grin of sharp jagged teeth. He crossed his arms, muscles rippling. "Safe? RARAR. Ain't no safer place then Jigokuraku! If there is anyone causin a ruckus, rest assured we'll get to the 'tooth' of the matter." He opened his mouth for more applause.

Soga even mentioned 'Black Dragon' and this caused the croc to put a hand on Soga's shoulder. There was something... off about his face, a forced smile, but a predatory one as his tail flicked.

"You don't to worry about that yet young man." He said, and then left it at that. "Focus on your studies for now." It was evident that the Croc didn't want to talk about something.

Croc made sure to get a few steps away and put his hands on his hips. "Well well well!" He was looking directly at Kenji, nearly towering over him. "Looks like you crawled out from under your rock after all huh?" he took a moment then laughed heartedly before slamming a claw on the big guy's shoulder. "RARAR! Good to see ya Kenji! I knew you could do it! Your Mom must be so proud! Now you keep working hard! No special treatments here ya dig?" He said with a finger pointing at him.

Uncle Croc was always kind of a weirdo when it came to what the kids were like these days.

Interacting With: @Animal Shiki, @Scribe of Thoth Shun, whoever is around him like Akeno.

Hiroki was plastered to the stage. Despite being called out, the roster of teachers were... pretty damn awesome. Seriously there were some major players and he was damn well shocked that they all even were in the same room. It was kind of star striking, he could give a single backstory to nearly all of them, and that included the Number 1 from Japan. Her announcement changed everything.

There was a shot at this school, a huge one. With the Four Pillars, the licensing exam... this was going to be a hell of a year, and it made Hiroki have to cross his arms and think outloud. "I might need to change strategies..." It was all about winning. Shun broke him out of that state of mind by tugging on him. Hiroki had to push him off with a raised fist.

With the assembly over, he noticed Croc had a talk with Soga, so he would wait his turn, looking towards Guodo. Shun was bouncing like an idiot but Hiroki thought a moment. "Damn right we are." He nearly spat but then he opened his mouth. "Alot of that stuff is team based. Meaning we'd need the best to win. Shun right. Lets team up. See if we can get the best in class for the Pillars. Blow them right out of the water." He flexed with a claw that became a fist.

If we get a teleporter who can hold his own, we might need a. Hiroki noticed Shiki and gave him a little chin up in greeting and respect. "Yo. Shiki right. We're thinking of teaming up now. You look like you got some brains. We could use a strategist, what do you say?" His smile was simply evil, like a used car sales men.

Guodo chuckled before going to the back of the room. Bosses gave their orders. "Right this way!"

He led the group into a pretty pristine looking gym. It was essentially the size of four basketball courts. Though new, it was disappointing- until.

Guodo Sensei went to a set of bleachers that overlooked the court, there was a piece of thick plexi glass between the seats and the courts with some kind of weird control panel infront of the bleachers. He actually was talking through the speakers as he pushed some buttons.

At the four corners of the room, the floor itself seemed to open up... like literally it slid away and another platform took its place from underneath. On the platform was a dummy, just like before but this one was seated on a metal post and seemed much more solid then the things of cloth and straw out in the field. Around them was a 20 meter ring of what looked like concrete.

Guodo Sensei's voice came through the speaker. "As you can see, we had to work with the room we got, so our gym also seconds as our training room for now. If you ever read any comics, its literally a giant danger room for the basic hero'ing needs." In the corners, suddenly the floor rose up as gray pillars completely obscuring the dummies behind a wall. Then the walls descended back down. Next came what looked like bulky guns from platforms in the ceiling, they were set on moving robotic arms and had laser sights. They shot the floor around the dummies with what looked like paintballs. When the guns receded, what looked like glass walls came up, which immediately after began to fill with geysers of water, looking as if the dummies were put inside an aquarium. Then the water flushed out of the containers and the glass walls went down. Finally, all but one dummy retreated back into is underground compartment, leaving only one with its concrete circle. "As you can see, we can set up all different kinds of situations. Whether your quirk is combat based, meant for rescue, support, stealth, mobility, or healing, I'll set up a scenario for each of you to show your stuff. Just make sure you introduce yourself first and what your quirk is. I'm sure your class is eager to get to know who you are and what you're capable of. Strike the dummy, touch it versus obstacles, rescue it, drag it from the circle, get hit by it. I can pretty much develop any situation you can imagine." He beamed. "Are there any questions? Any volunteers to go first?"

Im hoping to quest with someone new every in game day ^^ that's how friendships blossom.
And I will be posting tomorrow ^^ of course I've no idea how to move the scene forward in a meaningful way, so Ill just take Yang's advice and start being friendly to demons and god monsters.
Alas, I must try again.

---Hiroki
โ€œYou of all people are going make this school elite? The same person who has been making threats and disrespecting everyone is the same person who is going to take us to the summit? Shut your mouth for a second and think, weโ€™re at Jigokuraku academy because nobody else would take us undesirables. Trash belongs with trash at the end of the day.โ€

Hiroki couldn't get the buzz from his initial proclamation. Once said, it is written in the sky with him, and he had a habit of not listening to people, which could be either really good or really bad. Regardless Hiroki raised his chin a little bit. "Dont know someone until they are under threat. You see how they tick." He tapped his head as if that was a lesson to learn. Ryota continued and Hiroki passed by him. "I don't talk to trash. So one of us is wrong." Take that or leave it.

"I knew you weren't that crabby all the time!" He giggled, stopping before the Tsunderplane and rocking back and forth on his heels enthusiastically. "Guodo-sensei already said my name but I don't know if you missed it or not since you were calling me Pixels, so I just wanted to say you can call me Shun, nice to meet you! Even though we kinda met at the exam, but you didn't really do anything but yell at me and I wasn't really thinking straight anyway so I guess that doesn't really count." And now he was babbling in run-on sentences. It's over, he's fully awake, "Hiroki, right? Or do you prefer Sakimoto? I know some people like to be formal!"

Again Hiroki's cool scene was interrupted by the kid with the pink scarf. If he was a badass, he certinaly had a bad way of showing it. He growled at the intrusion but it was quickly obvious that this kid wasn't going to let Hiroki go by. He was just going to stand there bobbing up and down and talking incessantly. Hiroki for the first time ever, had to recoil a little bit. The energy, the pep, the school spirit it was TOO STRONG. He put his hands in his pocket, trying to be cool again. "Yeah I got it. Datari Shun. Shun until I figure out otherwise. You can calm down now." He tried to get around him but it was not working. He went left, went right, and he couldnt dodge him.

โ€œBecause itโ€™s not one of the Four Pillars, and thatโ€™s all anyone cares about; Jigokuraku isnโ€™t U.A., Shiketsu or one of the others so no one thinks very highly of it. But itโ€™s a new school and no one knows what itโ€™s capable of, so itโ€™s not like it has a bad reputation; it just doesnโ€™t have any reputation yet. Sakimoto is right though; all that matters is the heroes this school creates. Weโ€™re the first students to attend here so its reputation is going to be whatever we make of it, good or bad.โ€

He asked him his name and he heard a rather tough looking girl mention him. He closed his eyes and conceded. "Hiroki's fine." Seemingly a little disappointed it had to fall back to such boring monikers. He didnt want to explain that he gave people nicknames. it helped him remember them.

He looked at Ryota, then at Akena, then back to Ryota. "See, she got the idea. If you're going to hate this place, you can atleast have fun with it." He thought a moment. He looked back to Shun. "Cmon' we should get inside." He took a step and then looked at Soga. "Yo Frodo you coming!? Bring in Starbucks and Cheerleader with you." Meaning Shiki and Yachiyo.

---Yachiyo

โ€œYou really shouldn't be talking about your own school like that, you know? I don't know what you think of yourself, but most of us are proud of this opportunity, Mister." Yachiyo had chimed in from the side, having overheard Ryota's comments. Though she didn't appreciate Hiroki's arrogance and rudeness from earlier, at least he seemed fired up, and stood up to this black hair'd boy's terrible attitude.

Straightening herself out properly, so as to stand almost eye-to-eye with the slightly-taller student, she furrowed her brows, like a disappointed mom, her fists digging into her sides. Leaning forward, she inspected the pessimist's features carefully, eventually giving him a little shake-of-the-head.

โ€œJust because this isn't the first or richest or most famous school does not mean we are any less capable. If we do our best, people will realize this will be a great school. I don't know about you, but I'm not here because I am unworthy of somewhere else, I'm here because I'm not a natural-born fighter like those guys at U.A. and Shiketsu. And so what?!" As her speech sped up and her cheeks flared up, Yachiyo's voice grew louder and louder.

โ€œWe'll make this school a hit, whether you like it or not! So... Sooo... You... You better like it!"

Hiroki cracked a smile, but it was more of pft, that last line was pretty funny, particularly how she looked, like a scolding mom. "Pff. You tell him. Maybe everyone is a secret badass. Hoping anyway."

---Soga

Though Soga did not like Hiroki very much, he did eventually take his invitation to join them, especially since Yachiyo had already joined them. "We don't have to be all badasses, we just need to see how we all can work together and help people, isn't that what heroes do anyway? Soga had seen this particular line in an old movie and thought that it would fit, given the situation.

"That, And be badasses." He said with a sadistic grin.

However, though he did maintain his usual serious attitude about him, he could not help but sneak a look at Yachiyo and mentally sigh. Contact with her seemed to make him act a bit to recklessly for his liking.

---Shun

Shun followed along after Hiroki as the blue boy started beckoning the rest of the class to follow, his steps particularly springy now that his momentary nervousness had faded. Everyone was being positive now, and it seemed like they were determined to reach for the top regardless of what anyone said. Shun supposed one negative influence in the class wouldn't be too much of a bother so long as no one took him seriously. That didn't mean Shun had to like it, though.

---Ryota

Ryota shook his head at the replies that Hiroki had made, seeing how arrogant the guy was nearly bought a smile to his face, something that was a rare occurrence. This thought was broke when a boy with pink hair tugged on his sleeve, the pessimistic boy turned his head towards hiroaki with a disturbed face. His expression didnโ€™t last long once he saw how utterly clueless this guy was. Before ryota could say anything, another girl the same height as himself spared him the energy and explained to the poor kid. But not without dropping her own two cents.

The smurf came back with his own remark which was probably the only thing that heโ€™d take into consideration.

have fun with it huh

A smirk came over the boy as he thought about toying with everyone, he might just have to give it a try.

His train of thought was broken by the restless latecomer from earlier who jumped into the conversation. He was surprised she was even listening, he looked her in the eyes apathetically as she ranted on about him disrespecting the students and the school. The girl had leaned in closer with a rather displeased expression as she tried to break through to Ryota who was rather uninterested in what she had to say.

Out of disappointment in his peers the boy let out a sigh, โ€œYou sure your reason for coming here isnโ€™t because youโ€™re worthless at U.A. and Shiketsu? Because thatโ€™s what it sounds like, and for someone proud to be here you sure donโ€™t look the part. Not only did you cut it close coming here , you look a messโ€ the boy said looking at the girls mud caked shoes.

---Shun

Shun quirked his head toward Ryota as he spoke up, continuing his earlier line of negativity. The green-topped annoyance's brows knotted together contemplatively. Was this guy an idiot? He was insulting himself just as much as he was insulting her.

"So why are you here if this place sucks so bad? You could've gone somewhere else," Pixels planted his hands on his hips like a disappointed parent ready to scold their misbehaving kid as he chided Ryota, "Doesn't even have to be a hero school, you could've gone to like a real school or something. Well, I guess this is a real school, but, like, a school-school!"

---Souta

Souta was shocked by Hiroki's sudden burst of encouragement, and his feeling of distaste towards the man had quickly been supplanted by a feeling of intrigue. The distaste hadn't quite gone away, but Souta felt that maybe there was more to him than what he had thought.

Of course, his faux-arrogance had quickly gained him a few looks of distaste from others in the class, it wasn't important to him, whatever they thought of him was their perogative, he wasn't in the business of impressing his classmates. As he followed the rest of the class into the room, he walked alone, but close enough to Hiroki and what was apparently his gang to overhear their conversation. He did notice another student that he hadn't paid much attention to before being quite negative, making it seem that the only reason any of the other students had come here was because of their inability to get into any of the better schools.

It wasn't totally innaccurate in Souta's case, he had simply gone to whoever was willing to accept him, but that was no reason to insult everyone else. Souta was probably just as negative as he was on the school, but he was sure that at least some of the students here made their choice purposefully.

As another of the students rebuked the young man, Souta glared over.

"I think you're projecting, just because you're a worthless failure doesn't mean everyone else is," he said, keeping up his facade of superiority.

---Ryota

Ryota turned to the green haired kid with eyes of annoyance when he asked about his reasoning for coming here. He couldnโ€™t slander him for asking such a question as he would have done the same if he was in his shoes.

โ€If I couldโ€™ve gone somewhere else than I wouldโ€™ve, but I gave someone my word.โ€ Even trash like him had some kind of morals, people who went back on their word were worse than trash. โ€œI applied here for the same reason a lot of other people did, because this was the only school thatโ€™d take someone like me.โ€

He them heard another student voice his opinions as he tried to save his and everyone elseโ€™s self esteem. It was sad to see how tightly these kids didnโ€™t want to accept the reality of the situation at hand, the boy just smirked at the kids words.

โ€Sure Iโ€™m a worthless failure, but I most likely applied here for the same reasons as you, recieved the same letter as you, and am currently here like you.โ€ Ryota began walked off into the building before turning his head back to leave the stone faced kid with something to think about.

โ€The worst thing about it, I hadnโ€™t initially planned on becoming a hero but here I am now. Let that sink in.โ€

Before you knew it Ryota disappeared into the crowd of students.

---Hiroki

There was another in the group, he gave off the same vibe as Ryota but he came to Hiroki and the 'trash' defense with a grin and a glare. Hiroki gave him a little raise of a chin in acknowledgement before moving forward. "Who gives a crap about why you're here?" Hiroki moved ahead down the hall, following the rest of the class, hands in his pockets. He spoke as if it didn't matter why any of them were there. To him the reasons didn't matter. "The losers are the ones who aren't."

---Hiroaki

Hiroaki was approached by another girl as tall as the guy he asked. Like the mean-looking boy, she too has a pretty intimidating face and gave off this very confident aura as she walked towards Hiroaki. He was prepared to bound and run away as fast as he can while pleading for his life, but to his surprise the lady was gentle in explaining to him why the mean guy was spouting bad things about Jigokuraku Academy. Hiroaki nodded in understanding, now that he knows of the school's reputation. After the girl was done, Hiroaki smiled serenely at her and slightly bowed.

"Thank you for explaining it all to me, kind lady. Perhaps being new is a good thing, yes? That way, everyone of us can pave our own path in life as early as now. Hopefully our classmates can work together so- oh."

Hiroaki was surprised at another student arguing with the black haired boy, followed by another and another and another. With a worried look on his face, he watched as almost all of them stood up against the tall boy, angered by his poor choice of words, his arrogance, or possibly both. Hiroaki knew he should be doing something, anything, but he also knew anything he could say can only make matters worse.

Hiroaki sighed as he continued to look worrily on the black haired guy. So much for a great start for the new school year.

---Akeno

Kind lady? Akeno blinked at the chosen form of address, too taken aback to do anything else for the moment. It seemed more than a few people were willing to fill in for her however, as her fellow students pratically formed a line to take their turns at responding to the dark-haired teen and his negative attitude. It was heartening to see that a lot of the students were of the same opinion as her when it came to Jigokuraku, or were at least willing to make the best of the situation; maybe this place wasn't everyones first pick, maybe some of them weren't good enough to get in anywhere else, that didn't change the fact that it was still a hero school and they were still going to be able to get their liscence at the end of all this. Akeno didn't need to be the best, so long as she could be a hero.

Too bad not everyone thought the same way.

She watched as the walking cloud of negativety disappeared into the crowd, a frown on her face as she did so. Why did he even come here if this was the way he was going to act? He applied here to fufil his word to someone, but was he really doing that if all he did was give a half-hearted effort and tried to tear everyone else down on his way out? Well, he'd succeeded at souring her mood for now at least. As the other students began to move again, Akeno followed after them with much less enthusiasm than before.

---Hiroki

Hiroki would have rolled his eyes with the bickering behind him but he actually slowed to more or less admire the actual condition of the school. It looked, actually better than his primary school. Everything looked neat, polished even. He had to be kind of impressed. it was supposed to be a new school and he wasn't expecting the teachers to really care about it, but I guess if its new, best foot forward. Guodo Sensei atleast seemed to give a crap. Maybe the others did too. When he got to the courtyard, with what looked like a fancy stream and rain, Hiroki had to comment with a sharp whistle. "This actually isn't too bad. Wonder what the track and gym look like."

And as if answering him, they came to the assembly hall, which looked like the gym with chairs all set up. He saw the rest of the class get to their seats. Mari, the big guy, Checkers, a really tiny girl in the corner with pointed ears, everyone was showing off their disposition depending on where they sat. Hiroki actually wanted to get front and center, but he wanted to make sure his little gaggle had a spot, so he sat front row, keeping two seats next to him towards one corner, plenty of chairs around him. He sat, arms crossed, but head up. He wanted to see where this was going. He recognized the chrome dome girl and only could wonder what kind of power house she was.

---Shiki

Shiki attempted to branch away from Soga's group, but was unable to deny Hiroki's invitation. It would've been rude, plus he wanted to avoid getting on his bad side. However, he was briefly taken back by his newly received nickname.

S-Starbucks? That's a new one...

He reluctantly followed behind Soga and Yachiyo, quietly listening to the ongoing conversations around him. There wasn't anything he wanted to contribute, heated arguments were something he'd rather avoid. Although, he did favor Sakimoto over that dark haired guy.

Nonetheless, he stuck with the group until the time came to choose their seats. Shiki decided to pick a spot behind the bubbly husky student, the same one who unintentionally called Sakimoto a magical girl. He figured the husky student's large body frame would allow him to scroll through his phone throughout the orientation. After settling down into his seat, Shiki connected his tail into his phone to give it a bit of charging power while he browsed through unread messages.

---Soga

Soga for this whole time had stayed mostly quiet, choosing to let the louder students take the "spotlight" while he followed Hiroki. Currently, he was only present in body as his mind wandered, thinking of his current plans for this school and all he wanted to achieve here. So absentminded was he at the moment that he even sat right next to Hiroki right up in the front without even realizing it. Only when after a few more moments of pondering did he finally realize where he was and by that time, it was a bit too late to relocate to somewhere else, so, with a mental sigh he simply made himself comfortable alongside Hiroki and once again delved into his own mind to think of what he might do, or what might need to be done in order to achieve his purpose here at Jigokuraku and paying only minimal attention to the people around him or even the stage where the teachers would be.

---Ryota

The black haired boy was a bit skeptical on dropping off his bag at the door but did so anyway, placing his belongings in a few feet away from the entrance before continuing through the school.

Ryota took notice of the schools features which seemed to slightly surpass his expectations, most notably the courtyard which captivated his attention as he fell into thought about what he had seen to the piece of broccoli outside. He took a moment to assess the situation that he was in, 2 years ago he couldnโ€™t have seen this coming. Hell when all might was still alive he couldnโ€™t have seen this coming, but here he was in the hero course just because of some dumb agreement he made. The boy snapped back to reality when a student had bumped to him.

Upon entering then assembly hall Ryota looked towards the back of the hall as he planned to nab a seat in the corner though that idea fell flat. The seats that he has wanted left him without many options, the curly haired boy turned towards the front to see most of the undesirables from earlier sitting together. A sigh escaped from his lips as he looked towards the middle of the room noticing a blonde haired kid out cold as he laid on his jacket. The pessimistic boy made his way over to claim the seat to the right of him, seeing as though he was sleeping the guy wouldnโ€™t bother him with pointless banter.

---Shun

Shun stuck his tongue out childishly as Ryota walked away, blowing a raspberry for lack of further admonishment. If he wanted to be a failure, fine. Neon Green turned away and followed after the group, letting out the occasional wide-eyed "Oooh," at the passing scenery. This school looked nicer than he expected. Although it was new, so he should've expected it to be pristine at the very least.

As he entered the auditorium, he filed in toward the front while still gawking at his surroundings, plopping boldly down next to Hiroki opposite the massive dragon. Shun tilted his head inquisitively. The reptilian boy seemed to be deep in thought, so this was probably an inopportune time to ask about his quirk. He really wanted to know if Soga could breathe fire or not. Oh well, it would have to wait until after the presentation. He turned his attention to the front, squirming restlessly in his seat already. It took him a few moments, but by the time the show was ready to start, he was only vibrating in place like a squirrel on a sugar high rather than outright bouncing in his seat.

---Hiroaki

Hiroaki's glance followed the black hair boy going through the entrance. He noticed most of the students were doing the same so Hiroaki continued into the school as well. His eyes wandered around to see the school has to offer, and he was very impressed. More from the fact that it's his first time actually going to school for a very long time. He remembered that he used to dread going to school as a child. Funny how time can change a person entirely.

Upon entering the auditorium, Hiroaki immediately went to the sides to put his things there, then stayed for a bit to check the seats. There were already those who were seated within their newfound groups, and Hiroaki can't help but feel jealousy towards them. He never understood how some people can already make so many friends even if they just met that day. He also noticed those who were already seated by themselves, perhaps they were earlier than the rest of them were or chose to ignore what happened outside and went straight in here. Then there's this one guy who was sleeping by the middle row and the black haired guy from earlier was seated next to him.

There were more students coming in the auditorium and Hiroaki might have run out of a good seat if he didn't act now. He chose to sit by the black haired boy's side and took out a sketchpad and pencil from his messenger bag. He decided to let his imagination run wild and doodle at a blank page while waiting for the event to start, humming happily and quietly.

---Akeno

Leaving her duffel bag with the rest Akeno entered the auditorium and began looking around for a place to sit. Due to her slowed pace most of the students had already found places to sit and the remaining chairs were filling up fast. With her options rapidly dwindling and feeling a bit rushed Akeno quickly sat in the first empty seat she found, finding herself seated behind the energetic, green haired student and the blue skinned loud mouth from earlier.

Day -1

Jacob felt silly. He was checking, rechecking, undoing his cases and then zipping them back up. He was going over the 'suggestions' in the pamphlet, and then the checklists of those who travel online. The fact that the itinary promised so much made Jacob kind of reevaluate his luggage a half dozen times. A tropical paradise? A ski resort? Banquets and fancy dinner. So somehow winter clothes, summer clothes, and dress clothes. He ended up with three suitcases, a tux protector, a gym bag full of shoes and amenities. Something about this wasn't right. He collapsed on the bed amongst his belongings. Now he was starting to get nervous, and it usually took alot to get him uneasy.

Day 0

He couldn't remember the last time he'd been on airplane and to be honest, the trip was actually way more relaxing than he figured. The way movies, the way commedians made it sound, flying seemed like a nightmare these days. But he got snacks, he sat next to smart gentleman, they were playing a mildly interesting move, and he could set up his laptop to announce on social media what he was doing and where he was going. The TAP resort wasn't too well known but people swore by it. He was going to be the first of his friends to give it a try and already he was getting well wishes and requests to take lots of pictures. He made sure to do so, as soon as he got that iconic skyline in the distance.

Hours later he was at the hotel with his luggage taken care of, and he freshened up, putting on a skyblue suit. He fixed his hair, brushed his teeth, put on a spot of cologne, trimmed his facial hair. Looking pretty good. He made sure to wear that wrist watch they swore by. He liked little medical contractions and he figured there was some science behind the whole dating event. Probably wait until you get a little tic of oxytocin and endorphins, getting a dose of epinephrine as your heart skips a beat from meeting that special someone and BAM! Science and Chemistry said you are destined to be together forever. Science was fascinating but it sure took the fun out of real life.

Jacob actually settled down when he reached the party. He was surrounded by equally nervous folks and it shone through so his big smile and forward disposition really helped him out. He made sure to make single comments, see who reacted, a way of fishing for conversations. [color=lightblue]"Good god... They really went all out with this place huh." "I always wanted a chandelier like that. You hang it right about your stairs, call it a foyer to be fancy." It honestly didnt matter who he talked too, as long as he did, it kept him nice and calm, nice and open for everyone.

When the crowd began to form around the bar and people began to get some courage and settle down with their drinks, Jacob got himself a Jack & Coke and took it to his lips, loving the clink of ice that tapped at the rim. He heard a woman say that her knees were shaking and Jacob in return seemed to reflexively reply. "Shakey knees and hands." He said joining in. "I'm amazed I haven't dropped my these yet." Jacob seemed to kind of smooze his way into the discussion of the group socializing at the bar, and he was one of those guys that was encouraging, going out of ones way to remind those around him that they were all here for the same reason so there wasn't much to be scared of.
