Wait, shouldn't there be a Bast post?
I shall also post tonight

Rebecca was taken aback by the outburst of grovelling coming from this large, hulking Minotaur, and spared a look at Neil to see if he shared in her surprise. When he was finished, she put her hand to her mouth to stop herself from giggling at the Minotaur's earnestness and innocence, believing that would be of ill tact. Instead, she crouched down and placed her hand on the top of Magnus' head. When he looked up, he'd she that her face was kind, without a hint of malice.

"You are forgiven. That shirt was a gift given in order to be worn, and I would be more offended if you refrained from wearing it for fear of damaging it. Perhaps I was mistaken in giving the gift in the first place. I have taken an assignment today myself and I did not truly appreciate how dangerous the world out there is when you are on this side. Especially those damned Varjans. It is I who should apologize. My prudishness is a relic of my old ways, ways that today has made me realise I should not be as proud of retaining. You do not need to wear a shirt."

She stood up and turned to Neil, sensing from his words that he had been trying to conceal something, and had, almost stuttering, asked about Magnus' shirt in a clear effort to change the topic of conversation. Rebecca pursed her lips. Secrecy was a sin, and that's one Order doctrine she won't be dropping any time soon. "My apologies, Neil, but I fear I may have interrupted a conversation between Magnus and yourself." she slyly spoke, hoping to bait Magnus into picking up the conversation she had been having.

Duncan turned back to Roland as they entered the school. "It's probably something to do with the attack, and warning us to be careful of whatever made those prints. I don't think any of us are in trouble. At least I hope not." He replied, to answer the mage's question. The red-haired girl who joined them split off, but Duncan didn't ask questions. He wanted to get to the assembly hall without wasting any time, and this time she knew where the elevator was. When he and Roland were out of earshot, The Centaur looked back at the human slightly behind him. And ahead of him. Centaurs were long. "So, what do you think of her?" he asked. I thought she was cute but I think we'd get on each other's nerves too much."

Ms. Mako was about to offer to take the elf to her own classroom and maybe even make her a hot drink, when the P.A. crackled to life and Reiko issues order for everyone to assemble in the Great Hall. Oh well, maybe she could check in on this elf later, when things had calmed down.

"Well, you heard that, didn't you? We'd better head to the Great Hall. If you don't want to be in the crowd of your fellow students, though, you could stand at the side with me. The offer's there if you want to take it."

Before they could head off, though, they were approached by a muddled faun. Given the natural aptitude of their race, this newcomer might sense the sheer dark, arcane power emanating from this woman. This wasn't the ethereal magic of a wizard, or the fiery soul magic of a Demon, or even the Earthen magic of a druid. This was...dark. It could only be Witchcraft. Nevertheless, the woman was acting friendly and comforting enough.

"Everything's okay in this courtyard. Elsewhere, well, the assembly will fill you in. I'm Ms. Mako, a teacher here. Let's all head to the Great Hall, and on the way, I'll see what I can do to un-muddle your head."

The Centaur's plan to discreetly eavesdrop as well as a Centaur could do anything discreetly was almost immediately sabotaged when Bast himself walked over to her and made a public display of recognising her, before inviting her to join him. Luckily, she was sober this time, and annoyed at that, so the charming compliment did not breach her defences. Nevertheless, she shook his hand and nodded her agreement with pursed lips and steely eyes, though, by the time the two reached Bast's associate, Eilidh was once again all passive smiles and understated cheer. At least for the first few seconds, before the stranger asked if they were together when everything went out the window and she became flustered and flushed noticeably redder.

"No. No, we are not." She spoke, making a clear effort to keep her voice down. When the talk of business began, however, she quickly regained her composure and paid attention.

@Ellri

Nat 20 with disadvange should at least get a crit effect. C'mon lol
@catchamber

I was more talking about plastic to fuel recyling. Microbial fuel is good but I can't see how it could get widespread adaption and backing where renewable energies of yore have failed. (They're still perfectly viable to this day) It's not so much better and more adaptable than solar or hydro power.

Speaking of solar power, artificial photosynthesis is basically solar power. I'm not even going to treat them like separate energy options.
@catchamber

It's not going to run out entirely but we won't be getting any new stuff from crude oil when there is no crude oil left, and that's where the cheap stuff comes from. The things you talked about are nice little things and will keep the outdated oil industries on life support a few more decades or so (that I will admit I did not know about at all) but they're not even close to helping make a claim of us not NEEDING to switch to renewable urgently.
Climate change is happening. It's happened before and it'll happen when we're gone.

We do need to stop fossil fuels and switch to renewable energy, but I think a more pressing reason is that one day we'e going to run out of fossil fuels. No more gas. No more plastic (as least not from the current process. Maybe we make it from alcohol and it goes way, waaaay up in price but no more cheap plastic)

Millions of companies who rely on plastic will need to make fundamental changes or go out of business. Hundreds of million of jobs will be lost in an instant.

Unless we start gradually implementing renewable energy asap.
This past Monday, four of us broke into prison where our fifth team member was being held. It was a rescue attempt. But the dice weren't having it.

Not only did all four of us die (three of us got nat 1s on death saves, me included, and the other one ended up with -24 health) but the guy we're supposed to be rescuing managed to break out, and, with sneak attacks, killed 23 enemies by himself without taking a single hit.
