From alongside the human ship, Ping Hai also formed a bridge to cross over to the humans who had been silently gawking at her for the entirety of the trip, stopping as she joined Shinano's side. Ping Hai had to admit, she was rather curious about humans. If the goal of creating mental models in an effort to emulate human tactical thinking, then that brought with it the assumption that human intellect was a credible threat despite their seeming powerlessness. Yet since intellect was not something immediately visible, because thoughts were hidden in the 'brains' behind their 'eyes', the humans were mysterious. Ping Hai wondered which of these humans was currently calculating a way to destroy the Phantom Fleet. her piercing red gaze scanned across the human sailors, making and maintaining eye contact with each one individually before moving on to the next, her attempt to see behind their 'head windows' a failure each time, though she did notice her prolonged gaze caused mixed reactions, most involving them turning a shade of red and fidgeting. Ping Hai stood silently by, waiting for Shinano to speak.
The speed trainee hero whistled, and paced back. "Yeah about that...Ummm...Guys...I think we're kinda fucked?" he stated with a bit of fear in his voice but to his credit he didn't bolt, and leave his friends to their doom. "Let's do the Tokyo Special! Now!" growled a voice from above as someone jumped out the window followed by a girl with wings on her back. The young speedster said something but he was too far away at this point to hear his muttering. But he started to twirl his arms in a circle and sent a large tunnel of wind at the direction of Diselpunk with the force of a hurricane. Though it was clearly taxing on the youth as his face got red suddenly. The guy who jumped out the window had a crossbow strapped to his arm, and was wearing goggles. The girl was extremely pretty for a young high school girl with long white hair, and red eyes. She grabbed onto the boy who jumped and he launched an arrow at the hurricane. Followed by another one. The arrow exploded into a puddle of water and the next one that followed sent a charge of electricity into it causing the hurricane like wind tunnel to not only be enough to make the other villains go barreling down the street just by the sheer force but the electricity was sure to give any hero a shock if they couldn't handle it.

Hit by the 'Tokyo Special', Dieselpunk braced herself, widening her stance. Fortunately, she was heavy enough that the wind didn't send her flying away immediately, though she could still feel the air tugging against her. Little pops and hisses could be heard as the various fuses from the cars that she had consumed exploded from the electricity coursing through her. At least they were only non-essential, low-current fuses, like interior air or headlights. Though it was painful, the shock wasn't enough to knock her back into human form, nor was it strong enough to disable essential systems, which were mainly mechanical rather than electrical. Some of the batteries were getting strained, but it wasn't unbearable.

By widening her stance, she was making sure that she was grounding the electricity away from the most important thing beneath her, Midnight. She hoped to God that the rubble that she had serendipitously spread on the ground earlier was enough of a wind barrier that he didn't get sent flying too. But with the archer and the previously unknown wing girl revealed, Dieselpunk was sure that Midnight would disco-light the little brats out of the sky. As the 'tank', Dieselpunk was 'doing her job' by drawing fire and forcing the enemies to reveal themselves or otherwise abandon their advantageous positions so that her teammates could do some damage. Of course, that wasn't going to stop her from adding her own bit of fun into the mix. Instinctively using on arm to cover her face, she reached over with her other arm to the nearby, partially demolished building, morphed the metal plates in her hand into something of a shovel, and smashed the building. As it began to crumble, she again flung the debris into the sky towards the flyer carrying the archer. Dieselpunk was sure the girl could probably dodge it, if she wasn't carrying someone else while trying to avoid the hurricane beneath her. Or would she drop her friend a few stories down to save herself? As a hero, she probably wouldn't do the latter, so allowing both herself and him to get hit would be the dumb, but heroic thing to do.
“That bad? Well, if you have time to do it, please do. I don’t see a reason to wait, especially if it was to get worse. I’d like to avoid turning mostly deaf again, believe it or not it kind of blows.”

Since it didn't seem that anyone else was in need of healing or repairs, besides the usual pre-battle maintenance, Legion focused most of the rest of the period of travel operating on Rachel's auditory receptors, since she seemed eager to go on the mission. However, this was not something Legion could repair, non-invasively, so after explaining the entire procedure and obtaining Rachel's consent, Legion went ahead with the repair, which involved reaching into Rachel's ear with small probing wires. of course, Legion made sure Rachel was as comfortable as she could be, and since Legion was operating on an inorganic portion of Rachel's body, there was not fear of pain. Fortunately, the damage was something that could be repaired without the use of replacement parts, mostly loose wiring. When Legion finished, the ysent Racehl on her way.

Stella grimaced a little at the reaction to the scan Legion gave. 'Even he can't help being surprised.' She tried to keep her cool as best as possible, but she didn't feel like asking any questions either. 'At least he's just reacting to me, and not any glaring hazards to my health... I think.'

She filled out the datapad as well as she could, before curtly excusing herself.

Legion let Stella leave the medical office. Though the machine wondered if it should explain itself, it ultimately decided that right now wasn't the time. A part of Legion's mind also was afraid that Stella would lash out, blame Legion for being an unfeeling, unsympathetic machine, and declare how disgusting it felt for her to be made completely out of machinery. Legion didn't know if it could handle such an outburst of emotion, and decided that long-term trust would need to be established before they could communicate openly and honestly about how they felt.

As the operation commenced, a quiet humming accompanied Legion as it approached Natasha's captain's seat. "You know, despite Moonstrike One's assurances, I am loathe to allow this operation to continue. First of all, how do we know these children will perform as intended? Secondly, they're children. Isn't us using them against the Ascendancy no different than the Ascendancy using them against the Coalition Against Humanity?" Though the words were harsh, they were spoken calmly. Though they sounded rhetorical, the questions were sincere. Captain Natasha had the unique honor of being the receptacle of Legion's doubts, since for the most part, Legion exuded a calm certainty, the illusion of absolute rationalism, in order to provide order and mental stability as routine protocol for staving off 'space madness'.
Meh, tiny-ass post but it keeps the ball rolling.
@Zelosse

"Absolutely!" Brunhillde replied, following Overzealous to the library. "I'll look for a scrying spell right away," She announced, finding one soon after and cast the spell, opening a scrying window in the air, the image showing above the guild hall. "Find village." Brunhillde commanded, and the image started zooming away.

@Shadowman215

Mythos Biblios Omniac, as it turned out, did not follow it's creator or guildmaster to the library. One of it's scoutflies had noticed another guildmember approaching the entrance, and decided to greet him. "Welcome back, master Solace," Omniac declared, "Please help yourself to the festivities." Omniac was, of course, referring to the food and drink that had been set out to celebrate the end of the world.

Tif almost died, Tessa thought to herself. In the back of her mind, she blamed herself for letting her guard down and not getting her spells back up in time. But it seems Rael had got there just in time, while Graves was capturing the creature's attention. He called out to the party to concentrate damage on the limb, but for someone who specialized in area control, concentrating damage was not her strong point. She did have one spell available though. Since all her spells were hemispheres centered around herself, she had one spell that required quite a casting period that converted all her spherical spells into cone spells. The spheres would split behind her and open up, angle by angle, much like Pac-Man's death animation. At this point, she had got all her spells up, so Arnaakus was being hit by period lightning strikes, slowed by a gravitational field, and slapped by chains; while a protective shield surrounded her allies, reducing their damage taken. if she converted her spells to cones, the damage and intensity would increase substantially, while the shield would block more damage, but was she willing to leave their backs exposed? Sure this brute looked like the boss, and often, for dramatic reasons, boss battles did not involve a random party of monsters suddenly coming in from behind. But did the game still work on such mechanical logic? And didn't Tiferet almost die partially because Tessa hadn't been paranoid enough? Yet the group seemed to be struggling.

"Hold on, I'm going to concentrate my spells!" Tessa called out, and began channeling her concentration spell. The hemispheres reached quarter-spheres (halfway to completion), lightning struck Arnaakus with higher frequency, the gravitational pull became more intense, and the chains started attempting to bind various parts of the creature, when suddenly it shot out exploding ice shards at the party. Tessa winced as the shrapnel hit her, feeling actual pain, and losing part of the channel. Fortunately, Tessa specialized in being able to muscle through interrupts, so instead of canceling her spell completely, it only set her back (to about 25% completion). "Give me just a little bit more time!"
@rocketrobie2
i'm glad to be here too but to be honest, this my first Tabletop roleplay

Don't worry, same for me!
In that case let's do it
I would say I'm down, but will we be able to use the dungeon world mechanics with just the two of us?
